It's been a little over a month now since Elliot and I finally confessed our true feelings for one another and I honestly couldn't be happier.

Zoey and Dylan were both pretty ecstatic when Elliot and I first told them that we were dating which doesn't surprise me at all.

After all, both of my children have always adored Elliot and have always seen him as the father they never had.

About two weeks ago, Elliot made the official decision to leave Manhattan and move to my hometown with me and my children.

I won't deny that I was pretty on the fence about Elliot deciding to uproot his entire life here in the city to follow me, Zoey and Dylan to Riverdale but he assured me multiple times that it was something he wanted to do.

I'm currently sitting in the front passenger seat of Elliot's black SUV as he drives us closer and closer to my hometown.

Both Zoey and Dylan are fast asleep in the seat behind us, the 2 of them being tired from having gotten up a little earlier than usual this morning due to me and Elliot wanting to get on the road as soon as possible.

Elliot has one hand on the steering wheel while holding onto my hand with the other. I turn my head to look at him, smiling. He returns the smile as raises our clasped hands to his lips and brushing his lips across the back of my hand.

It's then that I notice that we're driving past the Welcome to Riverdale: The Town With Pep sign, indicating that we have finally arrived in my hometown.

I give Elliot directions and after about 10 minutes or so, we're finally pulling into the parking lot of the town diner known as Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe.

It's directly on the border between the North and South side of town which means that Northsiders and Southsiders alike are always coming into the quaint little diner.

After waking both Zoey and Dylan, the four of us make our way into the diner. We are immediately greeted by none other than Pop Tate himself who recognizes me the second he sees me.

"Olivia Benson. Is that really you?"

"Hey, Pop. It's been a long time, huh?"

Pop Tate wraps his arms around me in one of his warm and welcoming hugs before he agrees that it has indeed been a long time since he last saw me.

I then introduce Elliot, Zoey and Dylan to Pop Tate who greets the three of them with a warm smile.

"Miss Olivia, I thought you might be interested to know that a certain older brother of yours has been working here with me for a couple of months now and I bet he'd love to know that you're back in town."

I smile at Pop Tate's mention of FP, my older adopted brother. I haven't seen him since the day I left here almost 15 years ago when he drove me to the bus station and watched me climb onto the Greyhound that eventually took me to Manhattan.

He and I have talked to each other on the phone a couple of times a month since I initially left but it was never the same as being able to see him every day like I had before I left.

"Did FP ever get married and have himself a family, Pop?"

"Why don't you ask him about that yourself? He's in the back right now."

Pop Tate turns and calls for FP.

After a few minutes, my brother makes his way out of the back. He hasn't honestly changed all that much except for having grown a full beard and his hair a bit shorter and neater looking than it had been the last time I had seen him.

I hold my breath when FP finally sees me standing next to Pop Tate.

A huge smile slowly spreads across his face and he walks over to where I'm standing and wraps his arms around me.

"Oh, I can't believe that you're finally back, sis. God, I've missed you so much."

I smile at FP's sweet words. He was never really been one to openly express his emotions to other people when we were younger.

Well with the exception of myself and Hermione Gomez, that is.

Hermione was at one point FP's oldest friend and had even dated his best guy friend, Fred Andrews, during their high school years.

"I've missed you too, FP. It feels good to be back home in Riverdale again. Before I forget, I want to introduce you to your niece and nephew and also my boyfriend and former partner Elliot Stabler."

FP shakes hands with Elliot before turning to smile at Zoey and Dylan.

"I can't believe that I am finally getting to meet the famous Zoey and Dylan. I have heard quite a bit about you both over the last 14 years. Your mom has bragged to me about you two more times than you might believe."

Zoey giggles at FP's statement.

"I could definitely believe that. She does love to brag about us to just about anyone who will listen to her."

I roll my eyes playfully and wrap my arms around my daughter from behind before pressing a kiss against her brown hair that is the same shade of brown as my own.

"As your mother, I have every right to brag about you and your brother, honey. You are my babies after all."

We all let out a laugh before I realize that it's almost time for the moving van Elliot and I hired to arrive at the two-story house we had purchased within walking distance of the high school that FP and I had both once attended and that my children would also begin attending starting on Monday morning.

"FP, I really hate to have to cut this reunion short but we gotta go meet the moving van at our new house. If you're not busy later, why don't you come over for dinner? It can be a sort of homecoming house party celebration sort of thing."

"That'd be great, sis. Would it be alright if I brought my kids with me? Both of them but especially my daughter has been driving me crazy for the last month about wanting to finally get to meet her auntie Liv that she and her brother have heard me tell them about so many times."

"That would be just fine, FP. We'll see the three of you tonight then. Does 6:30 work for you?"

"I get off my shift around 4 today so 6:30 will definitely a perfect time for me and the kids."

FP and I exchange one last hug with one another before I rejoin Elliot who is back out at the car with my kids at this point.

I quickly explain to them that I invited FP and his 2 kids over to have dinner with us tonight.

"That's fine with me, babe. It will be great for Zoey and Dylan to finally meet their cousins. You can finally meet your niece and nephew too."

"I know, El. I can't wait. We better get going though. God knows where those guys from the moving company we hired will end up putting all of our belongings if we're not there to tell them."

Elliot lets out a laugh before pressing a gentle kiss against my temple.

"Excellent point, babe. Let's get moving then."
