When Kotal, Jade, and the others made it to the Chaotian Age, they arrived when Shang Tsung was just about to use the Hourglass to control space and time. Liu Kang was down on the ground, clearly injured, and it looked like all hope was lost. Erron used one of his revolvers to shoot at Shang Tsung and the bullet went right through his arm.

In pain, Shang Tsung looked at the group of heroes and said, "Of course. I should've known that Liu Kang needed backup to beat me. But all he did was give me more souls to absorb."

"Your reign of terror ends, Shang Tsung. You will not leave here alive." said Kotal.

"We'll see about that, Kotal. In fact, I'm glad you're here. Your soul is the most desirable to me right now." said Shang Tsung.

"You're going to have to break every bone in my body before taking my soul." said Kotal.

"Hmmm. How about we have a duel? Just the two of us. And don't worry, I'll make sure there's no interference." Shang Tsung said before he summoned some undead monks to keep the other heroes busy.

"I notice your lack of attire. Bold choice, I must say." said Shang Tsung.

"I came into the world lacking clothing and I'll leave the world the same way, but that day won't be today." said Kotal.

"In a matter of seconds, your soul will be mine." said Shang Tsung.

Kotal and Shang Tsung soon engaged in Mortal Kombat and even though he was disadvantaged when it came to power, Kotal held his own and made Shang Tsung start to worry. But thanks to dirty tactics (morphing into Shao Khan and going after Kotal's back, which was broken in his fight against Shao Khan), Shang Tsung was able to gain the advantage and bring Kotal down to one knee.

Just as Shang Tsung was about to use his good arm to take away Kotal's soul, Liu Kang suddenly transformed into Fire God Liu Kang and proceeded to give Shang Tsung the beating of his life. A beating so brutal that he went against his moral code and broke Shang Tsung's legs out of pure anger.

And as if Shang Tsung's luck couldn't get any worse, the heroes were able to defeat the horde of undead monks, meaning Shang Tsung was now severely outnumbered. He tried to use his good arm to throw a fireball at Sub-Zero, who dodged his attack and froze Shang Tsung's arm to the point where all it took was a hard punch to break it off entirely, causing Shang Tsung to scream out in pain.

Now with no workable limbs, Shang Tsung was now at the mercy of the heroes. But today, the word mercy wasn't in the vocabulary for any of the heroes. Instead, they were going to give him exactly what he deserved.

"We're going to enjoy this." said Erron.

The heroes then each gave Shang Tsung a punch to the mouth and in Johnny's case, a punch to the groin. Kotal then finished it off by kicking Shang Tsung in the face with his bare foot. Once the beating was over, Fire God Liu Kang gave Shang Tsung the worst fate imaginable by using the Hourglass to erase him from existence.

"Flawless victory." said Fire God Liu Kang.

"And good riddance." said Johnny.

"So, he's gone…forever?" asked Cassie.

"Precisely." said Fire God Liu Kang.

"Thank God. I was really getting sick of his arrogant ass." said Jax.

"What do we do now?" asked Jacqui.

"We leave this place and go back to my beach house." Kotal said before he teleported everyone back to the beach house.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter. I know, I suck at writing action scenes, which is part of the reason why it took me so long to write another chapter. Fortunately, the next chapter will be the last chapter and it will more or less be an epilogue. Also, the inconsistent schedule is kicking in thanks to school, so don't expect updates or new stories every day, but I'll do my best to not have the gaps be too extreme. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now and stay safe.
