Izuku's POV
Twenty minutes later the class was showered and changed into fresh uniforms. Izuku stood in front of the class at the podium as they took their seats. A few looked green from the sight of blood. Others looked contemplative.
Once everyone was settled and Alex was in the corner he began, "Alright everyone. This is last your chance to back out of the program. I can see the green in your faces after seeing just a little blood. This will not be the last time you see blood. Today is the easiest day you will have under me. If you cannot handle it you need to decide now."
A few of them looked like they might take him up on the offer. They were the one's he watched closely. There was no shame in admitting defeat. Not with this lifestyle. He wouldn't blame them at all for deciding they couldn't do this. Killing wasn't for everyone. Not all heart could handle the destruction of innocence. At one time Izuku had considered him amongst them. That time was long since passed though.
The group that he thought might bow out looked at each other. Then looked around at those within the class. It only lasted a few seconds before their faces turned stony. They nodded in acceptance and Izuku knew that they would stay.
Then Izuku continued, "Alright then. Well done each of you. Take these words to heart as I did when I first joined the ops. This is the life you choose. Do not disappear for your team are your brothers. Stand together and you will preserve. Fight amongst yourself and you will fall alone. Trust is sacred. Understand?"
There were murmurs. Izuku snapped sharply, "That won't do. The answer is Yes, sir. You might not be soldiers yet but you still need to understand respect if we go to talk to the highers ups. Now try it again. Understand?"
"Yes, sir!"
That was better.
He said looking between them, "Now you don't have to call me sir most of the time. Conklin here you will however. Any questions?"
There were shakes of their heads. This was good. They were beginning to realize what they had gotten themselves into.
Then he said, "Alright now we will announce team leaders. For Team 1 we have Mikage Celestine for team leader. Well done kid. For Team 2 Ayanami. You did very well. As for Team 3 I declare my second in command to be Shinsou Hitoshi. All other team leaders can choose their own seconds. Let myself or Conklin know your decision by Friday."
That had murmurs from the other students. They looked extremely excited at the prospect. With that Izuku went to his seat and waited for Alex to collect himself.
Alex came to stand at the podium and began, "Alright kids. Now that you are broken up into teams you must understand that this class is unlike any other class in UA. In the mornings you will go to regular classes. Science, history, mathematics, and English. After lunch we will have heroics classes mixed with combat classes. This includes Military History, Strategy, and Tactics. The days on them will vary. Twice a week you will have Battle Room training. This gives you realistic scenarios to run through with your team. The Battle Room has been made and tested by Power Loader in the support department. Any questions so far?"
"No sir!"
"Good. You are free until the bell then."
"Yes sir."
Aizawa's POV
There were many things he expected about the first day. First thing had gone exactly to plan as it usually did. He had expelled a purple haired boy who could only be described as a pervert. Many of his students had decent quirks and one in particular had a good mind.
Brash and seemingly violent was Bakugo Katsuki. The ash blond haired boy had surprised him when he declared nothing in their world was fair. That they should be glad that they didn't have to go to war like the quirkless had. If the kids wanted fair they were in the wrong place.
Shouta had been surprised given Bakugo's attitude to Iida. Out of all of his students it seemed that Bakugo had the best idea of what was waiting for them. The others were almost disappointing in their attitude to hearing about the quirkless. It was obvious that they thought very little of those without a combative quirk. He had to wonder what would happen the next day's heroics battle trials. Class C would fight Class A on Tuesday and Class B on Wednesday.
Those particular trials would be a chance for Class C to prove themselves. While the real test wasn't until the Sports Festival it would give him and the other teachers a chance to see if it was worth anything. Though if he was honest he wasn't expecting much. What could two days really do in terms of preparing 21 students for combat?
Looking back over the roster his dark eyes found a single name. Midoriya Izuku. That was a name he never expected to see at this school. It was the same name that was on his chest. Curiosity filled him as a part of him wanted to see what his soulmate was capable of.
Did the boy even know that he worked here? Probably not. Most people didn't even know he was a Pro Hero. They looked at him and saw a hobo.
Even new police officers assumed that he was a hobo. Something that got more and more annoying as time went on. Still there were perks about it. People tended not to mince words around him. Information that might have been hidden in his presence was freely expressed.
The door opened drawing his attention as students piled in. Instead of the typical one or two brats to a group they were in groups of seven. Shouta could see the knives belted at each of their sides. So they were already given weapons? It was the first day. How could anyone be so irresponsible.
The last to enter was a green haired boy who radiated power. At his heel was a large dog who looked as if he could take someone's arm off. According to the briefing he and the other teachers received this dog was both Midoriya's partner animal and his service dog. For an animal rescued from the fields of battle (supposedly) it was well behaved. It heeled at its masters left side and sat without prompting.
As for the boy himself Shouta was having a hard time seeing the supposed battle hardened soldier. To Shouta the boy seemed too naive. He seemed too much like the other first years. Thinking that he was all that and nothing could hurt him. For his part he thought the kid could use a wake up call. A wake up call that he would get tomorrow during the battle trials.
Once the children were settled he began, "This is History class. Understand I do not take in late work ever. If you cannot turn it in on time don't bother coming to turn it in later. I am Aizawa Shouta."
He had to stop there as Midoriya stood the boy said heading towards the door, "Nope, not dealing with this today. Luka come."
The last command was unnecessary as the dog was already at his heel. Shouta growled, "Where do you think you are going?"
Midoriya didn't reply and was gone within a few second. Shouta's jaw worked up and down angrily. What the hell did this brat think he was doing? By the look on the other kids faces he realized that this wasn't something the boy had done before. Great. Just great. Now what?
