Tsukauchi had spent most of the evening at the Bakugo house. Izuku found that he genuinely enjoyed the man's company. He saw heroes both in the good that they did and where they could improve. He saw the perks of the Soldier Program. Though he didn't believe that service should be mandatory.
Izuku had to disagree. If they were going to spend so much time and energy training them it would be best to have it mandatory. This way they were ready for wartime. It was not a matter of if a war would happen. It was a matter of when. If they didn't have trained soldiers it would be a repeat of his draft.
His mention of that had Tsukauchi opening his mouth. Before closing it again and nodding his agreement. He didn't like the fact but it didn't mean Izuku was wrong.
That night after Tsukauchi had left Mitsuki asked, "So what did you think of him?"
Izuku yawned, "He's an interesting man but I will hold my opinion off for now. First impressions are well and good but it doesn't always tell you about their real selves."
His aunt seemed to nod before ushering him off to bed. Weird. Did she expect something else from him? He shook his head not wanting to linger on it. When he arrived in his room he found a message from Alex.
Conklin: Nezu wants you to play nice with All Might. I don't care how you do this just don't shoot the man again.
Delta: So I have to interact with him? There is no way to keep him out of my class?
Conklin: Not unless it's his choice. And you can't shoot him or otherwise force him to quit your training exercises.
Izuku frowned deeply. He couldn't force the man to leave. Technically he couldn't force the man to leave. Tapping his fingers against his chin as he thought. The best way would be to do it over several weeks. They could ignore the man and run training exercises like normal. Eventually, All Might would get the hint. Maybe. The problem was it would take time and he didn't want to fight the man every step.
He could always pull a Medusa "training" operation. It was how trainers had weeded out the weak. Students fighting the Number One Hero was the height of stupidity. Even if it was 20 against one. No, it would be better to do the second option of a "training" operation. It would allow him to get the chance to see how the other classes worked as well.

Katsuki wasn't sure what was going to happen. It was obvious that something was going to happen. Izuku had almost been giddy that morning at breakfast. He refused to explain what was going on. And it made Katsuki nervous.
Halfway through breakfast Izuku's phone went off. He had answered it using a Bluetooth commlink to talk with the caller. Nothing that was said made any sense to the Bakugo family. Katsuki had spent a lot of time learning about Izuku's time in Medusa and even he can't understand what was being said.
The grin that appeared on Izuku's face sent chills down Katsuki's spine. He pitied Izuku's class. There was no way that smile spelt anything good.
Then when they were about to leave a knock came at the door. It was Conklin, Izuku's handler who drove them to UA. The man obviously knew what was about to happen. He knew and he was not about to share with Katsuki.
When asked about it he simply shook his head and recommended Katsuki, "Keep your Hero Costume close."
As soon as they arrived at UA, Izuku and Conklin disappeared. The shine in the green eyes gave Katsuki a bad feeling. He was going straight to class. Whatever was going to happen he wanted no part of it.
As usual, he was the first to arrive but was soon followed by Four-Eyes. Despite what his classmates might think he did know their names. At least for the most part. Those he regularly talked to, willing or not, he knew. Others could be a struggle at times.
It didn't take long for the other students to file in. Shitty hair was the first to greet Katsuki along with Pinky. They were too cheerful. Normally he would be at least cordial with them but he was still on edge. Something was going to happen he just knew it. Whatever it was it was going to be big.
From the corner of his eye, he saw the door to UA's gate suddenly come up. It kept anyone from coming in. Or as he suspected to leave. What was happening?
The whiteboard at the front of the class flared with the screen. He knew that there was a screen to be activated by the teachers. However, it had only been one day and this was the first he had seen it. On the screen was not anything that was meant to be. That much was obvious even to the most oblivious student.
Izuku stood in his combat fatigues and Katsuki could see the hilt of a knife poking up from his thigh. He thought he could see a sidearm bulge but he couldn't be sure. Izuku was very good at what he did. Hiding his true ability was part of that.
A few murmurs of his classmates rose but he growled, "Quiet!"
They gave him strange looks but they did as he said. Just in time too.
Izuku said, "Hello UA, I am Izuku Midoriya of Class 1-C the Solider Class. I was requested to play nice with one of our instructors who is a quirkist. So in order to "comply" with this request I have set up an activity."
Oh. Oh no. Katsuki had a terrible feeling about this. He knew that the grin had spelt trouble. But this? No wonder why Conklin had suggested keeping his hero costume close. Conklin had known what was going to happen.
Izuku continued, "Now this activity is open to any who wish to join. In the desks are buttons that if shot with a paintball will glow blue. As they use similar ones in the Provisional Licensing Exam this will good practice for those of you who want to be heroes. Or those of you who want to prove I don't belong here and that this program is useless. 3 go on your body where it can be seen. One-shot will light it up. Once all three are lit your done. Your goal is to find where we have hidden the teacher and recover him. Your classrooms are considered safe. Everywhere else is fair game. In the box, you will also find a map of the school."
Now his classmates were murmuring excitedly. They were looking forward to testing themselves against this group. Katsuki knew there was more to this than was being said. He had the feeling that it wasn't just a message for them. Izuku was talking to someone else without coming out and saying it.
"Know this," Izuku said coldly, "If you break my simple rules I will know and you will pay. Rule 1: If you are out you are to get to a safe room. Rule 2: If you are out you do not attack anyone who is still in. Rule 3: Do not injure in a way that cannot be healed by Recovery Girl. Quirks are authorized but if you maim one of my students I'll repay in kind and then some. You have until noon."
