In short the murderer was the husband. An all too laughable cliché and was always the first suspect when it came to when a woman is murdered.

The husband is always in the first suspect and always the first to be questioned. But this time around he was not questioned as a suspect but merely a grieving husband and father. They had thought it was a suicide because of the son's death and did not think of it as a murder, an almost perfect way to get away with murder. No one would expect it to be him after all he had just lost a son, why would he want to lose a wife too. The woman that was the closest thing he had to his son and the person that he would grief with.

Shinichi was tired and did not want to think too much about this murder; because it reminded her all too much of her parents death. Her Mother was the one that had caused the accident to happen.

She thought back to the case file as she read through it. Witnesses and evidences had shown that Kudo Yukiko had being speeding and causing reckless incidents in the past and was something all too often that she had done. Mrs Kudo was impatient and did not want to wait in the busy traffic that was ahead of the family and decided to be reckless. There had been a road closed and Mrs Kudo had decided to use that as part of a way to get ahead of everyone. But what she did not know or neglected to inform her was that that part of the bridge was damaged. There had been a murderer that had gotten away from the police previously and had crashed in the wall, after being chased by the police and then arrested upon injury from the crash.

But it had all failed because of a weakness he had.

For her suspicions to prove there had to be two autopsies instead of one.

One case had been too many and she had enough. She decided that she wanted out of the Hospital and far from where people knew that she was a detective former detective. Her time as Edowaga Christie although it was dark times she could admit it was also when she had most fun time and felt the happiest. It was the simpler times and it was exactly what she needed for her mental health. And in return this would help her physical health.

In her current physical state she was not able to play football the way she used to and that was something that she was desperate to get back to. Something that was normal and was something a typical teenager would play. It was not what the average girl would play by statistics but it was something that made her happy. And if she wanted to get back to her normal standards of living then she was going to start playing the violin again, something that previously given up. Two former skills that she had practiced very well and was rather subjects she could and was hoping that she could have a career in.

So, she was waiting until she was physically able to do what she wanted/could do and in the meantime she was going to spend some time with a family friend.

She remembered the husband/father had a weakness because the kid had told her so and even showed her when he played a prank on his Dad. The thought of this made her smile and chuckle a little. She loved that kid. He was the first one to make her laugh and be happy in that moment. The kid was the happy kind of person that knew that he was dying so he did not fear death. Instead, he was spending what time he had had the time of his life and doing what he loved doing, and that was making people laugh. And he made her laugh alright and he did this for everyone. A Nurse who had a tough shift and would cry because they had lost a patient, he would give them a hug and make people laugh to make them feel better.

It was rather a simple case and was one of the sadder ones that she would have to emotion buried in her mind. It would be best that she either forgets it or remembers it as her last case because there was a lesson there.

She did want to think about it anymore. The sooner the plane was on the ground the sooner she would be…

BANG

Shinichi immediately looked up the moment the plane made a loud bang sound. From suitcases falling out, to the plane shaking and a person falling out of the bathroom (which she found hilarious), she knew that there was something wrong.

The flight attendants were not addressing to the people to their concerns, and they were doing their best to see what was going on with the pilot. They banged on the door, trying to look calm and not concern the people on the plane. But the not knowing could only last them so long and their banging on the door began to get faster and louder. They were panicking and soon everyone else would too.

The pilot and co-pilot were out of action.

Both were male as she remembered both of them addressing the passengers on the plane that was going to be a smooth ride but it might get bumpy because of some unknown weather.

She was really hoping that this was not another alien invasion that was happening in Metropolis.

Maybe it was not the best place to go after all, because an alien invasion is still an alien invasion and was something that she did not want to get used to.

"This is your Captain speaking. Please return to your seats. We will be experiencing some turbulence" Said the voice on the speaker.

Shinichi knew something was right. And she every so decided that she would buckle her seatbelt, but she would not be wearing it. She wanted to see where this was going because she knew that was Not the captains voice, because she makes it a habit to remember the voices.

Something was about to go down, and she could feel her heartbeat racing again. She was in the middle of the sky.
