Naga and I had done our best to keep up however we weren't quite as fast as the others, however in hindsight this turned out to be a good thing, as whilst everyone else came crashing down and got themselves captured, Naga and I were still out of sight of the fort. "Come on Naga, we have to help Korra and the others. Let's go girl!" Naga barked in answer before making a sharp turn, making me yell and cling onto the saddle for dear life as she hurriedly took us in another direction. "Naga! What's the matter girl? At least give me some warning next time." Lifting my head I saw a figure in the distance and soon enough, I could make out who it was. Uncle Bumi. "Bumi! Bumi look out!" I sat upright in the saddle and started bending the snow towards the spirit who was lingering behind Bumi, however when he turned around and started waving his arms I stopped. "Huh?"

Without warning Naga came to a sudden halt, making me yelp and fly onto her neck as she sniffed the air, my uncle cheering and laughing happily. "Reinforcements! Boy am I glad to see you Kanna, I was worried I'd be on my own for a moment there." Bumi said to me as he hugged Naga's face and I picked myself up from her neck and sat back down in the saddle.

"Uncle Bumi, why is there a spirit hanging around you?" I asked, pointing discreetly to the spirit who was just levitating there rather harmlessly. From the looks of all the others, this one seemed to be quite docile.

"Aha! It appears that the spirits are calmed by the sound of music. Here watch this." He said before starting to play on his wooden flute and the spirit instantly reacted, swaying from side to side rather calmly as Bumi played. "You see?! This is perfect, with this we can get inside and avoid being eaten by all the other spirits guarding the portal!" Bumi declared rather excitedly as I jumped down into the snow and frowned.

"Well, that's something I guess but what about all the guards and the machines guarding the fort as well? I doubt it's going to be easy just walking in and freeing mom and the others from Unalaq." I reasoned however Bumi seemed to have already come up with a plan because he had that mischievous look in his eye which told me that if this were not for a very good cause then we would get into a lot of trouble. Basically, we were going to break and smash everything. Looks like Tenzin will get what he wants, it was his idea in the first place to just go in and destroy everything. Ironically.

"Alright, soldiers. Looks like it's on us to save the day. Luckily, I've got a plan, so listen closely." Bumi pulled myself and Naga into him so that he could relay the details, Pabu lifting his ears and tilting his head curiously as Bumi drew shapes and figures in the snow to try and outlay the plan however as he struggled to form the fort, I placed my hand on his shoulder and drew him back. With a few quick movements I lifted up the snow and mapped it out into the rough shape of the fort which I could sense from all the snow mounds, movement of people and what Bumi had described. "Say, that's pretty good."

"Thanks, I've been practicing." I smiled at him before cracking my knuckles. "Okay then Uncle Bumi, you ready to make another wild story to tell the kids when we get home?"

"You said it sister, let's take this fort and free our captured brethren!" Bumi declared though I had to hush him from yelling too loudly for fear of being overheard or discovered. Together the three of us crept inside, keeping a low profile though Bumi seemed rather comical about it all. When he was trying to be serious, he just ended up being clumsy and heavy footed, though it all seemed to work out. We stuck ourselves to the wall and when two guards walked past, I quickly knocked them out with a chunk of ice to the head then after we had taken their uniforms to wear ourselves, I bent the snow to cover them so that they were hidden from sight. If they got frostbite then that's not my problem.

We walked together side by side, Naga and Pabu hidden safely away in one of the tents. "Alright spirit army, your general is here. Follow me!" With a brandish of his flute Bumi started to play and I hung back a little, keeping watch in case someone came along to investigate the sounds however when the spirits started to move towards Bumi, I glanced towards him with worry.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" I asked him though turning back now was not an option.

"Of course I'm sure, see? It's working!" Sure enough the spirits were all circling overhead, drawn towards the sound of the music however when he started to play again, the dark spirits suddenly all struck down towards him, making my uncle yelped and swiftly ducked down out of the way. "It's not working, run!" He sped away and I squeaked as he grabbed my arm and made me race with him, dark spirits hot on our tail.

"Do you have a Plan B?!" I yelped as I quickly darted out of the way of a dark spirit who lunged for me, leaping over another as Bumi and I continued to run away from them as they gave chase.

"No! This was all I got!" Just perfect, this day just couldn't get any worse. Together we skidded to a halt, our way blocked by another hoard of dark spirits however when we turned around, we found ourselves being boxed in. "I call the mecha-suit!" Bumi suddenly yelled and leaped into one of them, dragging the top closed as I spun around on my heel with my palms held down flat, sweeping up the snow and making it erupt upwards to throw the spirits off my back and giving me a clear opening so I whistled loudly, calling for Naga and Pabu as Bumi's mecha-suit activated and started to shoot forwards.

"Hey! Watch where you're driving that thing!" I yelled, diving out of the way however with ourselves now spectacularly visible and obviously announced to all the guards in the fort, they came running towards me and a sudden hail of ice spikes came shooting towards me. "Oh that's just fantastic. Sure, pick on the singular little girl like a bunch of bullies!" I yelled to them all as I bent the snow and ice around me, creating a large ice wall which I then pushed forwards at top speed so that it crashed into several water benders, taking them down and allowing me a little time to plan out my next moves.

With a water whip coming straight at my face I twisted and grabbed onto it with my own hand and it froze instantly, trapping the wielder's arm which then allowed me to use him like a club, manipulating ice, snow and water around me to turn everyone I could into life sized human popsicles. Spinning around a wave of snow crashed towards me however Naga bounded onto the water bender's back, causing him to grunt and the snow turned to slush at my feet. "Naga! Good girl Naga, great timing." I praised her and her tail wagged happily as I scratched her chin then hurried after Bumi who had quite effectively destroyed most, if not all of the fort. "Come on you two, we'd better catch up with Bumi before he gets himself killed too." Naga barked in agreement whilst Pabu squeaked, leaping onto my shoulder.

Taking a running jump I slid over the snow with an ice board underneath my feet and used my bending to take out anyone who came at us, though the spirits were harder to deal with. I could knock them away but they kept on coming back even angrier than before. One even tried to dive at me however Naga leaped forwards with her snarling teeth and chased it off, leaving me running after Bumi as he ejected himself from the suit and went spinning and screaming towards one of the last standing tents. He slid along the snow going straight inside so I followed him with a whistle for Naga to follow.

I barrelled inside and only had a brief moment to take everything in before I reacted. Eska and Desna, Korra's rather terrifying cousins, were getting up off the ground so the moment they were standing I leaped up into the air with a twist of my body, flinging my body towards the ground and lashed out with both feet as I spiralled, kicking them both in the head and knocking them out cleanly before I landed on my feet and placed a hand on my hip. "Did somebody order a rescue?" I asked before grinning at everyone.

"Kanna! You made it!" Korra gave a laugh of relief as I hurried over and started to untie everybody, helping Korra to her feet and hugging her tightly as Pabu leaped onto Bolin and started to chew at his ropes.

"Agh! Kanna! I love you so much right now, you're my hero!" Bolin declared gratefully. "That's it Pabu, keep chewing, I can feel my arms going dead right now." Giggling softly I nudged my hip into Korra before helping Asami and my mom get free, Naga licking at Korra's face as everyone got up and stepped outside just as the radio tower toppled over with a loud crash.

"Bumi, how did you and Kanna manage to take out this entire encampment on your own?" Tenzin questioned in stoic disbelief, everybody staring around at the catastrophic destruction and the numerous ice sculptures I had created.

"I did it all with my trusty flute and…oh, never mind. You wouldn't believe it anyway. Let's just get moving." Bumi ordered and started to march away.

"Don't worry guys, I'll tell you all about it after we're done kicking Unalaq's butt." I promised and Bolin grinned at me.

"Sounds good to me. Maybe we can get Varrick to make it into a mover. We'll call it 'Destruction of the Enemy Encampment – Nuktuk style!'" His hands made a bold gesture however Mako simply swatted him on the head.

"Can we focus here? Now is not the time to be goofing off. This is a serious situation we're in right now." Mako reminded us all as we started to run towards the portal.

"We know Mako, but being all uptight and serious isn't going to help us either so try smiling a little, unless you're worried your face will crack." I teased him, giving a playful grin and a punch on the shoulder which he returned with a small smile as the three of us brought up the rear until finally we reached the portal, the brilliant beam of light shooting straight up into the sky. It was warmer here, you could feel the heat and spiritual energy like a veil of mist around you.

"You run into the portal. I'll try to hold off anyone who comes after you." My head turned upon hearing Tonraq speak however Korra shook her head adamantly, her hair awry but her eyes no less determined.

"No, you're too hurt. You need a healer. Asami, can you take Oogie and my dad back to my mom?" Asami nodded her head in affirmation, making Korra relax as she turned back to her father. "This is my fight now, dad." Face contorting with emotion I watched as Tonraq pulled his only child into his arms and I received the distinct feeling that he did not want to let her go.

"Korra, I love you."

"I love you too, dad." They broke apart and Tonraq made his way over to Oogie however he paused before me, opening his mouth but I just lifted a hand to stop him.

"Don't worry Tonraq, I'll keep her safe. Just like I always do." I promised him and his shoulders sagged once more as he exhaled, giving me a grateful nod and my shoulder a squeeze before he exhaustedly climbed up onto Oogie, looking rather worse for wear. Unalaq must have really done a number on him to get him into such a condition. When I see this guy, I am going to give him the pummelling of a lifetime.

"Once we're inside, you go find Jinora." Korra announced to Tenzin, my mom and Bumi, all of whom nodded their heads. "Kanna, Mako and Bolin will take care of Unalaq while I close the portal, so Vaatu can't escape."

"Wait a second." Bolin cut in with a panicked expression, turning everyone's attention towards him as he fussed and worried. "Worst case scenario. So we're fighting Unalaq, you close the portals and let's just say something happens to you, are we gonna be trapped in there for eternity?" He asked, only just now thinking of all the possible ways that this plan could go wrong. Quite honestly, I didn't like the idea of being trapped in the spirit world either but with the state of the world at risk, we can't afford to back down now.

"If everything goes as planned, we'll all walk out together after Harmonic Convergence. If not…" Korra trailed off, unable to find the words so I slung my arm over her neck and gave a confident grin.

"But we don't have to worry about any of that because this is all going to go perfectly to plan. Right? So let's get in there and save the world. Again." At this Bolin perked up a little, hooting with his fists in the air as we all turned and ran into the light of the portal. A tingling warmth rushed over me, the brightness intensifying until it was blinding and I couldn't see where I was going however a hand reached out and grabbed mine. Korra. She held onto my hand tightly, partially to lead me and partially to make sure I was still by her side so I stepped closer to her and together, we passed through the portal and into the spirit world.
