Ryan kept on watching over the angel with relative ease. She didn't seem to move a lot and started no trouble. It was slightly awkward at first, as she kept on staring at Ryan while laying down, though eventually she closed her eyes and seemed to fall asleep.
By that point Ryan was more then ready to leave, though he did begin thinking about the issues that would/or could occur from this.
The first being the Government. The news of a strange creature with wings would most likely attract their attention, and would most likely try to take her away. That is if the religious folks don't try to take her first.
That being said, the second issue was even more worrisome. If Historic was to be believed, which was 99% the case, then he probably had to watch out for demons.
As Ryan thought about this some more, he began making preparations to prevent the first potential problem. Hiding her existence.
He took a quick glance around his room, looking for potential windows. Seeing none, he let out a sigh of relief.
"Huh, thank God for that...wait, how did I not know this fact?" Ryan whispered to himself in confusion. "No, focus. I need to keep her a secret." He took a quick glance at her, before realizing something.
She wasn't moving.
'Oh shit!' The human thought frantically as he began speed walking towards his bed. He quickly stopped as he realized that she was still alive, with her chest ever so slightly going up and down, indicating her stable condition.
"Oh thank God, I would never have forgiven myself if you died." Ryan whispered softly. Continuing to think, his mind began to wander as he continued staring at her face, before his eyes trailed down her body, unconsciously admiring it.
It again reminded him that she was truly an Angel. Her body was quite slick, lean, but with curves, yet also held that feel of power. Not to mention her height. Ryan had already known how tall she was, but only now was he actually processing her height. Like before, she was 6 foot 7, but now Ryan realized that if she stood, she would practically dwarf him. She was more 6 foot 9, if he was being honest.
Another thing was that she didn't seem to look like the usual type of angel. Her horns and her Grayish black face, which was practically alien to him, was a huge indicator of this. Though in a more positive note, she didn't seem to be like one of those angels whose form were considered to be cosmic in a sense. So Ryan definitely didn't need to worry about going insane.
Plus her wings looked good.
In conclusion, in his mind, Ryan thought that Historic looked-
'So sexy and fucking dangerous.' The human thought dreamily, before his face scrunched up. 'I'm being a creep right now, I should probably give her some space.'
Ryan immediately walked out the room, though left the door open in case of an emergency. He went back to sitting around, doing nothing. After all, it wasn't like he had anything important to do at the moment.
--
By the time Historic woke up again, the sun had long since gone under. She slowly opened her eyes, fluttering her wings around slightly, before sitting upright.
She immediately froze when she saw her surroundings, before remembering everything. She still felt weak, though she had improved considerably from her sleep.
She stood up, before unwrapping a few bandages.
"Entry wounds gone." She stated, as if she was checking something off a list. One thing that Historic was good in, was following procedure, and in turn, in killing demons. So injury's like these could and have occurred before, though not as severe as what Historic went through.
She removed a couple more bandages, before heading out the room. She ducked over slightly, avoiding collation with the overhead of the wall, before she began trying to find Ryan.
"Huhmmmmmmerrr."
Low and behold, Historic quickly whipped her head around, before spotting Ryan, who was laying down in an uncomfortable position, murmuring in his sleep. Historic approached the human, before softly nugging him. Ryan didn't move at first, merely letting out a small yawn instead.
Historic tried to wake him up again, this time poking at his arm. It worked, as the human slowly opened his eyes, before spotting the huge exterminator, staring directly at him with her head and horns casting a dark shadow over him.
"WHA!" Ryan scrambled, sitting up right. "O-oh, oh thank God. Don't scare me like that." He muttered, with his heart racing from the quick fright.
"I need Food in order to heal my injuries." Historic stated. "May I eat something?"
"Sure," Ryan got up and went straight to his fridge, only to realize that he had no food at the moment. "Damn, did it run out that fast?"
"What ran out?"
Ryan practically jumped, turning around to see the horned angel standing right behind him. She overshadowed him, literally, and it somewhat scared him. He wasn't used to looking up at people, not since he became an adult. Especially not with how close the angel could get.
"Ok, how are you so Quiet!" Ryan exclaimed, surprised by her stealth. However, before Historic could respond, Ryan noticed that the bandages had been removed by her, showing some torn parts in her suit.
"Oh! I need to put some more bandages." He muttered. Historic however, didn't seem to have a single issue and instead, glowed brightly for a moment, before fading back to her normal self. The skin suit had automatically repaired itself, with not a single scratch visible.
"Ok,never mind." Ryan muttered to himself, before remembering what Historic asked. "Food ran out, I'm going to get some more, so could you just stay here, and not move? Please?" The human asked, desperately hoping for a yes.
Ryan's luck must have run out, as Historic shook her head. "No, I want to come with you." She replied.
"But-but you do realize that it's not exactly safe out there? You could get hurt, or-and besides, it will only take about 7 minutes." He pleaded, trying to convince her.
"I am fine now, and I am chosen by Michael himself, to fight against demons. I do not believe myself to go down so easily." Historic explained. She did however, leave a few key details. Those details being that she feared that the human would run away, and tell others, which was a major violation. But the human didn't need to know that.
Ryan didn't seem to be suspicious, or even suspect anything else, and reluctantly sighed.
"Alright, you can come along with me." Ryan said. "BUT, we need something to hide your appearance. We can't attract attention to ourselves."
Ryan walked right past Historic, ducking under her wings, before heading right into his room. Historic stayed silent, and continued to follow and observe him.
Entertaining the room, Ryan opened his closet, rummaging around it before finding a large plain black hoodie.
'That should work.' He thought, before grabbing it and turning around. Unsurprisingly, Historic was right behind him again, shocking him again, but quickly getting over it.
"You might want to put this on, it'll keep you hidden, for the most part." He handed over the hoodie to Historic, who gladly took it. "Nearly forget, how are you going to hid your wings?" Historic said nothing, but instead flexed her wings for a moment, before folding them behind her back, before focusing back to her hoodie. However, as the angel tried to wear it, placing it on her head, trying to pull it down, it began to tear in the middle, before ripping up completely.
"Is this fine?" Historic asked, completely oblivious to the damage she had done. The once hoodie, was now turned into a black cloak, dangling around her shoulders. However, it still covered her greatly, or at least enough that one would not suspect anything strange. At least from a distance.
"Yeah-just let me-(holy shit your strong)-pull the hood over." Ryan muttered, walking up to her, and placing his hands on her neck, before lifting the hood and flipping it on her head. However, her horns caused her hood to seem triangular like from the back, as if someone had placed a large triangular on top. Ryan didn't find this to be a problem though.
"Alright, your perfectly hidden now...mostly." The human stated, stepping away from the winged being.
"Alright, let's get out and about!" He said enthusiastically, with Historic walking right behind him.
--
Ryan quietly opened the front door, before silently gesturing Historic to walk past him. She complied, passing Ryan, with Ryan quickly closing the door.
"Ok...again, just follow me, Silentlllly..." he emphasized. Historic nodded in return. Ryan at this point had gotten somewhat used to her usually silent response, and proceeded to head out the building.
Ryan was, again, lucky that everyone was asleep at this time. The darkness of the night also helped Historic, as her black suit blended right in. Soft taps could be heard, as Ryan jogged in such a way that one could even say he was skipping.
He made a sudden left, and headed straight towards a small red car. His angelic guest immediately made a silent dash, trying to stop him from escaping, only for Ryan to stop at the car, and turn around. Historic stopped immediately, nearly slamming right into him.
"Ok, just sit in the car seat and...you know how to open a car seat...right?" The human asked, oblivious to the exterminator's previously extreme movement. Historic merely remained dumbfounded, believing that the human was trying to escape, only to be proven completely wrong, twice. On Ryan's perspective, all he saw was Historic standing perfectly still.
'I guess she doesn't know.' The human thought, walking to the other side of the car, opening the door. "Historic, could you sit over here?" He gestured, pointing at the front passenger seat.
The angel complied without a single word, and got right onto the seat. Her head was tilted downwards, due to her hight, and her black curved horns. Ryan closed the door, and walked to the other side of the car, before taking a seat. A couple of seconds later, and the 2 were finally on the road, heading out.
"So...you talk often?" Ryan asked quickly.
"Hm?" Historic responded back.
"Do you...Nevermind...your just kinda...quiet." Ryan began, trying not to offend her unintentionally in any way. After all, she was quite tall, and Ryan didn't want to find out if her hight translated to her strength.
"Should I have said something?" The angel finally responded, genuinely curious about his statement.
"N-no. Just...we...humans usually like to talk with each other. For fun." Ryan made a quick right turn with his car, focused on the road. "So I forget your name...what was it again?" He asked, feeling less nervous, mainly due to his attention on the road.
"My name is Historic." She replied. "What's your name?" She asked, surprising the human with her sudden change to her silent attitude.
"Ryan. My name is Ryan." A car passed right by them, shining light on the 2, for just a moment. The 2 stayed in complete silence after this, with only a few mins left in reaching their destination.
