The sky was dark, similar to the skies of the netherrealm but the environment felt even larger. Kether looked around her surroundings Earthrealm was much darker than she thought it would be. Not a single shining light was to be seen. Even the stars were veiled by the heavy cloud cover. The moon was small and fat, hanging low in the sky. It wasn't dry like the netherream, the grounds were wet and it was pouring with rain. Kether could barely see two feet in front of her face. A lightning bolt struck the ground some twenty feet in front of Kether and the ground rumbled.

There were an endless amount of demons all around here, all around charging at something. It was as if they were gathering for a huge party or something.

"What do I do?" Kether asked herself. She didn't know anything about this place. Where was Malo?

The little imp wasn't with her. She groaned, slowly venturing to where the other demons went still unsure of where she was going. She had no idea where she was going, but she knew she was approaching the temple. She could hear the thundering of the water and the sky seemed to darken overhead.

The crowds of demons were agitating that Kether reverted from them, slowly making her way to a commotion happening in the distance. She came to a clearing in the demon crowd. There, in the middle of it all, two men were restlessly fighting off the demons with their potent weapons and abilities.

"You see that? Two strong entities fight in the drenching liquid." Said Kether in her mind to herself. These demons were no match for the two men. The demons had no chance. Their powerful swords and abilities were completely outmatched. Kether moved closer and closer to the fighting men, and as she came within arms reach of them, she gasped. These were no mere mortals.

One by one, a demon was slaughtered until she saw a scene arise before her eyes that she would never forget.

Come before them, a pale demon with undead subordinates followed him. They seem to be confronting them. Quan Chi was his name. Kether heard of him, a powerful sorcerer that served the netherrealm. He was infamous for using his powers for evil. Kether had no idea what was about to happen, but she had a strange compulsion to be present when the battle began. The two godly men were speaking to the dark being. Kether observed from afar, that a fight rises between them Darkness follows them into the temple. Kether thought back to her summoning with glee.

This would be so much fun to watch. Kether summoned her new ally, a tiny black imp that she had taken a liking to.

She consumed its essence, flesh, and blood as the imp combined with her own. She felt the power increase exponentially in her body. Being out of the netherrealm was new and she had to get used to this new atmosphere, as strange as it might be. The clamoring of the other demons was slowly diminishing, they were returning to the netherrealm. Quan Chi was fighting with the godly man, and Kether could see that he was losing.

Kether thought quickly and decided that she would watch from afar. Kether decided to take this opportunity to wander the opulent-looking temple. It was drenched in blood and bodies, the demons and some in orange attires were struggling. Kether took a liking to the place. It seemed more elaborate than the other temples she had visited. The statues were far more lifelike. There was an entrance blocked by spikes objects, traps that had been used to thwart demons, and other nasty things. Kether moved closer, and closer still. The place had been barricaded and the thick walls were covered in the most exquisite murals Kether had ever laid her eyes on. Kether stood in awe, as the battle came to a close. Suddenly, she heard footsteps appear behind her; a monk had come to investigate the commotion. Kether turned around and greeted him with an evil grin.

"Finally, some company." She said. The monk was a tall, gaunt-looking man with a shaved head and long orange robes. When she attempted to approach the monk, he held out a fighting stance.

"Stay back." He said in a gravelly voice. Kether laughed. "I don't get to have any fun here? Come on, I've got something that'll make you fight." The monk suddenly sliced her with something unexpected and unknown to Kether. Kether fell, slowly realizing what happened. A big cut appeared on her stomach and Kether grew angry. Another drop of blood fell on her head and when it touched her forehead, she became completely docile.

The monk then stabbed her again. "No fair!" she said, "This isn't fair." Then, she drifted to unconsciousness...

After that, a while had passed but it was unknown for how long exactly Her hands had been chained and bound, some sort of force holding her down and she was still awakening She could hear a conversation appear as she was slowly coming out from unconsciousness. The voice was familiar but distant.

"—You are currently clearing the grounds of the temple, yes?" The voice sounded stern and commanding. A little frightened, Kether looked around the place where she had been chained. "-Who is this?" Then a figure came into her view, she turned to see a brooding man in white attire, a harvester hat, and the most intense feature of all; their glowing blue eyes.

The man crossed his arms and continued to examine Kether. "What is your name?" He inquired

."Kether." She replied a bit dazed from the moment. "Where have you come from?" He asked with curiosity."Hell." Kether said, still somewhat groggy. The man said nothing, he just continued to stare at Kether.

"...Who are you...?" Said Kether, she began to feel some sort of investment in the man. Although she didn't like being held against her will. "I am Raiden, protector of Earthrrealm. You were brought here for attacking one of the monks."

"What?" Kether said with confusion, "I do no such thing!." She sneered at him.

"Your expression says otherwise." Said Raiden, his voice still being authoritative, but now more curious, "Perhaps you but another of Shinnok's lackeys." Kether rose her brow and pursed her lips.

"Shinnok? His lackey? No no! I am not his lackey. Never to my liking." She was a bit peeved by the assumption. "I am afraid I cannot be persuaded at the juncture, Kether. You have displayed the signs." Said Raiden, trying to warn her off of him.

"...You are the one who fought the revenants? The sorcerer? All those are not my allies. I may reek of unholiness but I'm no threat to you, protector of Earthrealm." Said Kether, she began to think that this man was a bit full of himself. It took a moment for something else to happen and suddenly the cuffs that were bounding her had been removed. She was surprised and pleased by this. "Thank you." She said to the man. "It is satisfying to know the trust of others." Kether shook her hands and looked around the place she was in.

"Where am I?" She questioned as she wandered around the grand room

"You are in my sky temple." Said Raiden Kether perked in interest.

"Your sky temple? Riveting." she smiled as Raiden closely watched her. He did not trust her yet, but Kether's smile was a bit infectious. Raiden had not responded to her sarcasm, instead, he went on with his warning.

"You must be careful what you do here." He said, "You may not ally yourself to the servants of Shinnok. Yet you are a spawn of the netherrealm."

He said as Kether furrowed her eyes at the man, "Do I look like one of those hideous demons?" she asked with a bit of sass.

"It is not a question of appearance." He said, "I must ask, what led you here? Is it the invasion?" He asked. Kether turned around, "Yes. I was bored and felt that this was an opportunity to explore." She said simply.

Raiden looked at her for a moment before saying, "What are your true intentions?" Said Raiden, she turned around, "I'm not sure. Although, wherever I am, this place could perhaps be mine..." She smiled and gazed around the room.

To this Raiden said nothing, he watched her for a moment. "The sky temple is not to be conquered." His tone was noticeably rising to a sterner and indignant tone.

Kether was still smiling, she could feel her powers growing. "You are of Earthrealm. You must choose whether you ally yourself with me or with those who wish to see Hell unleashed upon the world."

His eyes squinted at her in determination, "You mistake me for a mortal. I am a Thunder God." Raiden's hands began to spark in subtle lighting. Kether gawked at his power and grinned. She cocked her head at him and waited for him to said, "Very well, you have spoken your intent. Now I will speak mine. I am the guardian of this place." Kether rolled her eyes

, "Your faith is endearing, Thunder god." She joked."I will allow you to stay in this place, in return, you will obey me." Said Raiden.

"Fine, you win." Said Kether although her words may not be full of truth at the moment.

"We'll see how far this goes."Raiden's eyes narrowed, "We? You will remain here until I am convinced you are not an enemy of mine." He said, Kether rolled her eyes."We can work on that." She responded, "By the way, what are your intentions towards me?" She raised her eyebrow and watched him closely.

He looked away from her, "Judgement, Kether." Then he went off and away, leaving Kether with a grin from ear to ear. She laughed, "I'm gonna' love ruling this place."
