A/N: Extra motived this week. That OR I've lost my mind in quarantine. I don't know, you take your pick.
SMUT ALERT
Chapter 13, Harry's Birthday
"Mummy, I want to go to Uncle Harry's birthday party too. Please, mummy, please." Aurora wailed after Hermione while she was trying to avoid all the movers. It was moving weekend to the new houses.
"No, Aurora, I'm sorry, but you have to ride in the car with Gran and Papa so they don't get lost driving to the new house." Hermione explained to the child for easily the fifth time that hour. With a heavy sigh, Hermione bent over to lift the girl into her arms in an attempt to try and console her.
With purchasing of their new property together, Hermione and her parents had agreed that it would be easier for her parents to make the full purchase since the home was being sold by muggles and not a wizarding family. Hermione had agreed with splitting the mortgage and had given what she'd saved up for a down payment to them as well.
Her parents had put their London townhouse on the market after they'd made their own purchase, selling for well over asking within forty-eight hours of listing. Upon closing on their homes, Roger and Helen had hired a contractor to spruce up both places, and now everything was ready to be settled into.
Hermione had decided that it would be better to wait until after the moving company and contractor had finished their work before she threw up all the protective wards around the entire property. It only made sense, because they were both muggle companies and the repealing charms she would be placing would have made it impossible for them to get in.
After moving back from America, Hermione hadn't unpacked much besides a bit of her and Aurora's wardrobes, thus making her move fairly simple. Therefore, while her parents were finishing having all their belongs packed up and moved, Hermione was already completely done.
Before she'd left the ministry the night before, she'd stopped by the Floo Network Authority and had filed the paperwork and gotten the fireplace in her new house connected and had also set for the disconnection at her parent's townhouse for the following Monday morning. After that was done, she'd dropped by and checked out the progress on her house and to unload all her belongings. The kitchen hadn't been fully upgraded and would be getting finished over the next week, but with her parents' house was close enough, she could live with a partly functioning kitchen while she waited.
She'd opened her little beaded handbag that held all her possessions and set it on the ground. Holding her wand up, Hermione cleared her throat and gave it a small circular motion with a flick and all the shrunken boxes and furniture began to file out.
Slowly, as to not break anything, Hermione's home had transformed from being empty and bare, to fully livable (well, besides the half kitchen). She'd left the full-size boxes with everything for her kitchen sitting in the dining room, so as the muggles working on her house wouldn't find it suspicious that she'd moved in but didn't have anything for her kitchen.
After they'd settled on this property, Hermione had found a year-round nursery school program that she'd really liked and enrolled Aurora in. Aurora was all set and ready to start the following Monday and had been very enthusiastic at the idea. Hermione had already sat Aurora down to have a very long talk about how she would be going to nursey school with non-magical children, and that she had to be very careful to not show them any magic.
Aurora had just been excited that she would be meeting new friends, but had been extremely disappointed that Louis Weasley would not be going to nursery school with her.
"But, mummy, Louie is my best friend and he likes to be next to me."
"I know baby, but Louie doesn't go to the school, his mummy teaches him at home."
"Well, that's boring. He can come with me and show everyone at my school how funny he is."
"Aurora, why is Louie funny?"
"Because his heart sounds louder when I kiss his face."
"Wait, what?"
After her, uh, activities, with Draco on Thursday, she had only gotten a note from him Friday morning. He had let her know that he was meeting with Borgin and his solicitor that day to go over a possible plea and that he was looking forward to seeing her at Harry's party Saturday. No mention of anything else, but that was alright with her.
She'd also heard from Rachel, during their standing Friday lunch date, that Astoria and Daphne were to be released from the hospital either that night or Saturday morning and moved into an onsite rehabilitation facility that was located somewhere in the French country side. She'd also mentioned that they would be confined there for the next month, not that Hermione had any self-interests on if Astoria Malfoy would or would not be out of the country for the next month.
Harry had even popped in between her countless meetings to let her know that Theo had promised to not be openly hostile towards her, during the birthday party. He had, however, stated that he was still very angry with her and stood by what he'd said. Hermione conceded that Theo was just being a good friend to Draco, and she couldn't fault him for that.
Overall, from what had started as a pretty dismal and distressing week, had made a full turn around. Now Hermione had to just survive the force of nature that was Helen Granger moving. It really was no wonder that Aurora was so upset, because her mother was hovering around the movers trying to tell them how to do their job had everyone at their wits end.
"You know what, how about you two ladies go to that park and grab ice cream while Gran, er, helps the movers." Hermione's father had appeared next to Hermione and Aurora, who were sitting in their now empty shared bedroom. Hermione had quickly packed the last of their belongings before the movers had arrived and had them stashed away in her beaded handbag, already to floo over to their new house. Before Hermione could respond, they heard the shrill voice of an irritated Helen Granger coming from the room across the hall. Turning around, Roger let out a sigh, "honey, they have to pack the things themselves. No, Helen, sweetheart. Please, darling, he wasn't going to break your grandmother's vase."
Without another word to either Hermione or Aurora, Roger had disappeared from the doorway and was attempting to stop her mother from, well, being her mother. Hermione looked down at the now softly sniffling Aurora, who was clutching her dragon tightly and furiously brushing the tears away from her eyes.
"My love, you know, mummy can't help if you don't tell me what's wrong." Hermione murmured leaning into Aurora's ear. "Is your heart sad?" She asked.
Nodding her head, Aurora threw her arms around her mother and let the tears freely fall from her eyes. "Can we go play at the park and get green ice cream now, please mummy?" Aurora asked looking up into her mother's face with red rimmed eyes and tears still glistening against her flushed cheeks.
"Yes, love, we can go do all that. Maybe Uncle Harry and Uncle Theo can come so you can tell Uncle Harry happy birthday since you won't see him tonight? Would that be alright and help you feel better?" Aurora nodded again and scrambled out of Hermione's arms to run to the fireplace. "Oh, how about we meet Uncle Harry and Uncle Theo at the park?"
Aurora stood looking at Hermione, truly pondering this suggestion, before shrugging her shoulders and running off to the door. She slipped right between the legs of a large many who was carrying out a box and was gone into the warmth of the day. Running after her daughter, Hermione called after her to please slow down and wait. Aurora, of course, did no such thing.
ooo
Theo and Harry, as predicted, couldn't deny Aurora a day at the park and going for ice cream. Aurora had even told Harry all about the brownies that she'd baked with Gran earlier in the week for him for his birthday, and ensured him that they had tasted delicious. No brownies had been left for Harry to actually have for his birthday, but he told her that he'd appreciated that she'd thought about him while she ate them.
Hermione had made sure that her occlumency shields were up to keep Theo from seeing what had taken place in her office Thursday. It was bad, alright, she admitted that she shouldn't be kissing Draco and really shouldn't be letting him go down on her. Godric knew that she had regretted the decision almost immediately after he'd walked out of her office. And that she'd decided that she really couldn't let things go any further, at least, that was what she kept reminding herself whenever she'd think about his head between her thighs.
Their mutual attraction to each other was blurring a line that shouldn't, no, couldn't, be crossed. Again. Because, well, she was lying to him and he was going to be furious with her when he found out. Also, he was still fucking married, regardless if Rachel had said he was working his way towards divorce. He wasn't divorced and hadn't even indicated anything about that to her, she'd heard it from a third party. So, there was a very real chance that a divorce wasn't even actually on the table.
With this in mind, she knew she was going to be seeing him tonight. Hermione had resolved herself that she was not going to end up snogging Draco Malfoy, maybe lightly tease and flirt with him, but absolutely NO snogging. She would stick close to Harry, Ginny, or Rachel and that would be motivation enough to keep her hands to herself. Pansy could not be included in this list since she'd been the one who instigated the events that had led to the creation of Aurora. No, Pansy Parkinson was not a voice of reason who discouraged poor life choices. She was the little devil that sat on Hermione's shoulder and encouraged debauchery.
By the time Hermione and Aurora had parted ways with Harry and Theo to go back to her parents' townhouse, Aurora was much happier and excited to ride in the car with Gran and Papa. She'd concluded that Papa really didn't know how to drive and he'd need her expertise to get the to their new house.
After getting home in the early afternoon, Hermione had gotten Aurora ready for her nap (that she would be taking in the car) and was shocked at how empty her the townhouse was now. Everything had been loaded into the moving truck, and they were ready to leave. Roger had told Hermione how there had been a few tears shed by a couple of the movers after her mother had been 'simply helping them', and it seemed they were keen to get on the road in the safety of their truck away from Helen.
"Alright, we'll see you tomorrow then?" Roger asked Hermione while she settled a yawning Aurora into her car seat. Snuggling her face against her dragon and whispering non sense, it seemed she might be asleep before they even made it to the road.
"Yeah, I'll be flooing to my house from the pub. So, no worries. I've already got all my things sorted, so whatever the movers don't manage to take care of today I can finish up tomorrow?" Hermione peppered kisses and whispered sweet words to an almost asleep Aurora before pulling herself back out of the car to look at her father.
"Of course, maybe we can distract your mother with going shopping for a new outdoor playset to go in the yard. You know, keep her from traumatizing anymore grown men today." Hermione and Roger snuffled their shared laugher behind their hands while her mother shot them both a glare.
"Very funny you two, Roger dear, please get in the car. We need to get going or they're going to beat us to the house. I love you darling, tell Harry happy birthday from us!" Helen called out the window as her father walked around to the driver's seat and climbed in.
Aurora was already asleep before her dad had even turned on the engine. Hermione gave them a wave and walked back into the empty townhouse and straight over to the fireplace. Throwing the floo powder in calling out her new address, emerald flames burst to life and dumped Hermione in her new home.
Running up the stairs to her new bedroom, Hermione threw open her walk in to find the dress she'd bought to wear for the night. It was a dark green velvet bodycon, with thick straps in the front with strands of pearls crisscrossing over her entire back. Paired with black open toe stiletto that were certain to kill her feet, had left Hermione giddy with anticipation at how good she knew she was going to look tonight.
Hermione laid her outfit out on her bed, opting to forgo any knickers or a bra since the dress was so tight the lines from either would show. She shimmied out of the clothes she'd worn all day and headed into for a shower. It was going to be a long night, and Hermione was resolved that she'd be having fun. Even if she was going to keep her hands off Draco Malfoy.
ooo
Hermione had gone with leaving her curls wild and natural, only using a charm to keep them from frizzing. Her makeup, she'd done a smokey eye with pops of dark green that matched her dress and a bright red lipstick. When looking at her reflection in her full-length mirror, she had to admit that she looked damn good for her night out.
It still too early to head to the Three Broom Sticks, but Hermione had been invited to Ginny and Blaise's flat for some pre party drinks. Hermione wasn't sure who all was going to be there, but had been told by Harry that he, Theo, Ron, Dean, and Seamus were all starting their party at his flat before heading to the pub.
When she stepped out into Ginny's sports bar, Hermione was shocked to see Fleur and Bill standing at the bar having a conversation with Charlie and Rachel. Hermione's eyes slightly narrowed when she saw that Charlie had his hand placed on the small of Rachel's back and quickly walked over, inserting herself into the conversation.
"Hey, I didn't realize that you all were going to be here. Especially you, Charlie. I thought you were stuck in Romania until Ginny's wedding." Fleur and Bill hid their amusement behind their glasses as Charlie looked down at Rachel and back up at Hermione. Seeing that Hermione had a warning glare on her face, he removed his hand from Rachel's back, running it through his long red hair with a small smile.
"Yeah, well the chosen one only turns thirty once, yeah? Do you, um, know each other?" Charlie asked gesturing between Hermione and Rachel. Rachel, who was wearing the smallest black strapless dress she thought she'd ever seen, shook her head and said that they worked together. Hermione wasn't entirely surprised that Charlie had been drawn to Rachel, with her looks and charming personality. Only problem, Hermione knew that Charlie was a shameless man whore.
"That's true, are we doing a big birthday party for you as well then? You know, since you'll be turning, what forty?" Hermione asked making both Fleur and Bill choke on their respective drinks as they burst out laughing.
"You know perfectly well that I'm thirty-seven and not forty." Charlie replied dryly while Rachel trilled with her own laugh.
"You only told me you were in your thirties. No wonder Drake has been glaring at you since we got here, I should probably tell you that I'm twenty-three then. If that's a problem..?" Rachel had lifted her glass back to her lip taking a slow and seductive sip, making Charlie's eyebrows raise.
"I can't watch this anymore, alright, I'm going to go find a drink. You two, do try and behave." Hermione said while Rachel waved her away with one hand still eyeing Charlie's bulky muscular body as if he were a feast she was about to enjoy.
Hermione grabbed a drink before walking over to where Ginny was playing bar tender, and telling a story to a group that included George, Angelina, Blaise, Pansy, and Draco. Hermione couldn't deny the butterflies that started taking over her as she walked towards him, sipping on what seemed to be a long island ice tea (insert drunk Hermione ASAP if she kept drinking these). He hadn't noticed her yet, and was just sitting there watching as Ginny waved her arms around trying to demonstrate whatever events had transpired. Draco, along with the rest of her audience, where in different states of laughing hysterically as Ginny concluded her tale.
Wiping away the tears that had formed in his eyes, Draco finally noticed her walking towards him. She knew she looked good, and he clearly knew that she had done it (partly) for him. Draco excused himself from the group and gestured with his head towards the hall that led to the bathroom. Without waiting for a response from her. Hermione finished the drink in her hand before she followed behind where he'd disappeared.
Hermione's heels clicked in the hall as she walked down it, not seeing where he was until she felt him grab her arm and pull her into a room. "You're a minx, you know that don't you?" He whispered against the back of her neck as he pulled her back against his chest.
"Gods Draco, this is so wrong." She whined as he ruthlessly attacked her neck and jaw line.
You know, it's wrong with me not telling you about your daughter and the fact that you're married. Only a few 'minor' things that really should be stopping each of us.
Draco's only response was running his hand up her thigh and past the hem of the skirt. Reaching her naked bum, Draco let out a mix between a guffaw and a hiss. "No knickers? Salazar only knows the things you to do me, Granger." Draco whispered into her ear before he commenced the attack on her neck and began kneading her arse.
Before they could go any further, they were brought to an abrupt halt by Ginny calling down the hallway "OI, TIME TO GO!" Yes, Ginny! Ginny, Hermione needed to stay near Ginny and not slipping into a room alone with Draco.
Hermione quickly fixed her dress so it laid flat against her thighs once more and Draco was adjusting the swell in the front of his trousers. Slipping out of the room ahead of him, Hermione was met with Fleur raising her eyebrow and then a quick glance over her shoulder. Hermione didn't need to turn around to know that Draco was exiting the hallway she'd just come from as the surprise on Fleur's face told her enough.
Without another word, everyone popped into the floo and headed to the Three Broomsticks to enjoy a night of celebration.
ooo
The party was still in full swing as it neared one in the morning, and Hermione was completely pissed. As promised, Theo had stayed clear of Hermione and seemed to have all but forgotten that she was even in the same room as him. After leaving Ginny and Blaise's flat, Hermione had made a point of avoiding Draco and sticking by either Harry, Ginny, or Rachel as she had intended to do.
The pub was completely filled, from everyone that they'd gone to school with, fought beside during the war, or had worked with, it seemed everyone was out. There was no denying, all in attendance were here letting their hair down to celebrate the chosen one.
Hermione had spent a lot of the night dancing with Rachel, who of course even while extremely intoxicated, had an impressive rhythm and set of dance moves. Unlike Hermione, who consistently would find herself tripping over her own feet and not even remotely on tempo with whatever song was playing.
Rachel had yelled into Hermione's ear that she was going to grab another round of drinks for them, but must have gotten distracted because she never came back. It was about two more songs before Hermione noticed her absence and began looking around for where she could have gotten off to. It wasn't too hard to spot her, lip locked in a corner booth with Charlie Weasley (who's hand was enjoying the shortness of her dress). Hermione rolled her eyes at the couple, and decided it would be best to ignore them. Instead, she took off to go check what a mess her makeup was in the bathroom and try to make herself look a little more presentable.
On her way, she'd passed countless couples who were all in similar states as Rachel and Charlie had been, just making her softly chuckle to herself at the blatant displays of affection. Hermione was only slightly envious that she couldn't be one of those couples, because it was so wrong to want Draco right now. He was off limits, and that was something that she needed to keep reminding herself.
Hermione was in the middle of fixing her lipstick when she heard the loud thumping music pour into the bathroom before being cut off again with the door shutting. Hermione didn't even turn around to see who had come walking in, just called over her shoulder that she was almost done.
Out of nowhere, Draco appeared behind her in the reflection, making her turn abruptly around with a gasp. "What are you doing in here? This is the lady's lavatory; you, you can't be in here." Hermione hiss at him breathlessly. His hands made quick work, traveling down her body to her thighs.
"Hush, Granger. This is exactly where I need to be." Anymore protests from her were abruptly cut off as his lips collided with hers, making her gasp with the intensity of his kiss. There were no other thoughts to be found, besides how much she needed him inside her, right now.
Hands fumbling, Hermione was agonizingly slow at doing away with the belt and zipper that were keeping Draco hidden away from her. After struggling for far too long, she was finally able to release him. Glancing down, Hermione couldn't help but basking in the glory of his manhood. His sheer size, Merlin help her she thought to herself, sending up the silent wish. "Godric Draco." She murmured to him, swallowing back anything else that she could think of to say before looking back up into his eyes.
They crashed their lips together again, while Draco perched her up on the edge of the vanity. Hermione hummed her approval against his lips, wrapping her legs around his hips. With a swift thrust of his hips, Draco easily slipped inside her wet folds, it was as if they were made for each other. It had been too long since she'd been so full. Hermione couldn't even remember the last time sex had felt this good, and Merlin knew she hadn't been celibate since becoming a mother. But there was just something different about sex with Draco.
Her walls gripped him as he finished pushing himself all the way inside her. Both gasping at the feeling, Hermione and Draco both paused adjusting to the feeling, searching each other's eyes for the things neither of them would or could say out loud. Draco broke the silence (poetic as ever), "Gods, Hermione, you're so tight." Hermione would only murmur in agreement at how good he felt inside her.
Draco spurred into action at the sound and began to frantically snap his hips into her, making Hermione's head fall back calling out his name. There was no need to try and be quiet this time. No one would be able to hear them over the pounding sound of the music in the pub.
Hermione reached her hand up so that she was playing with her breast, teasing at her nipple through her dress as she called out in pleasure. Draco grabbed her hips and lifted her up, changing the angle so that each thrust was now even deeper making Hermione's screams even louder as Draco ruthlessly plunged inside her.
"Draco, don't. Gods, don't stop!" Hermione yelled, using her other hand to reach between her legs and find her clit and tease it. As if a man possessed, Draco picked up his pace until Hermione could feel her release coming and then breaking her.
Hermione was riding out the lasts of her release when Draco pulled out of her and turned her around. Pushing her forward, Draco lifted the skirt of her dress so her bare arse was now on full display for him. "Fuck, you have a phenomenal arse." He gasped out giving her a harsh slap to show just how much he did appreciate it. It made Hermione gasp and her core flutter with want again, she hadn't even thought about spanking in sex, but she was now squirming with want.
"Draco, fuck me, please. Please!" Hermione begged looking over her shoulder and watching as he licked his lips still studying her bum. Pulling his eyes away, he met her eye with his gaze filled with lust. Not saying another word, he plunged back inside her making her mewl with the pleasure of being filled again.
Draco twisted one hand in her hair, pulling her head back so that she was forced to look towards the ceiling. The grip he had on her hips was sure to leave bruises behind, and she could feel from his pounding pace that she was going to be over the edge again soon.
"FUCK!" Draco yelled and she felt him pull at the same time her own climax slammed into her. He shot his release over her bare arse and with a scream Hermione exploded along with him, her juices spraying out of her and down her trembling legs.
Gasping for air, both Hermione and Draco were quivering from the aftershock of what had just happened in the bathroom of the pub. After recovering, Hermione felt as Draco cast a quick cleaning charm over both of them and pulled her skirt back over her bum.
"I'll see you Monday, Granger." He whispered in her ear as he silently made his exit and slipped from the bathroom.
Hermione stood up facing the now empty space and let out a chuckle. "Yeah, Monday." She whispered before rushing from the bathroom and to the floo to go home. Exiting the green flames, Hermione couldn't help but worry about how much more complicated things were getting for her.
Later in bed, struggling to fall asleep, Hermione couldn't stop rolling over what exactly would become Draco Malfoy's place in her life.
A/N: Anyone have any guesses on how their Monday is going to go? The next chapter's title is: Aurora's Nursery School, so any thoughts or predictions on what might happen?
No weekend chapters, but I'll be back MONDAY. Might be slightly crazier by then since we'll be locked in this house until Tuesday. Could I get crazier though? Yes, yes I could.
