Chapter 2: Who are you?
The induction started with lunch. In attendance were the Potters with their 4 kids, the Snapes with their 5 kids. The Blacks had their 3 boys were (including Lyas going into his 6th year, Draco and Byron who were in the same year) and the Lupins had their 2 girls (one 8 and one 10). McGonagall, Dumbledore, Sprout, Flitwick, and Hagrid, was also there. Harry looked around the table to see if anyone else looked awkward or out of place. He noticed both Draco and Severus looked shell-shocked, which gave him hope that they also were from his universe.
The meal went quite well, as Harry decided to be quiet and figure out the dynamic before he said too much or asked too many stupid questions. Draco was seated next to him, and pretty much ignored him and stayed silent, which Harry was grateful for. However, this caused confusion as to why they were quiet and ignoring each other, as this never happened.
On the other side of Harry was Byron who spent the meal talking to him about quidditch, thankfully most of the league was the same as it was in the other world, so he could catch up. It turned out they were all going to the Quidditch cup world final was in just over 3 weeks, on the 18th of August (it was now the 27th of July). This meant Harry's birthday was in 5 days, a fact he was trying to ignore.
After they had finished eating, Remus asked if Harry, Draco, and Severus would be able to have a talk with him. Draco and Severus looked surprised, but the others didn't find it strange at all, and Harry had a good idea of what it was about.
They went to Severus' quarters, as they were the closest. Once they went inside, Remus put as many charms and protections on the room as he could. After a few moments, Severus helped out too. Once they were done, Remus turned to Draco and said, "What house are you in at Hogwarts?"
"Slytherin," Draco said immediately, Remus nodded, and Severus raised an eyebrow.
"Severus, what is your Patronus?"
"A Doe."
Remus nodded. "Harry, what is your Patronus?"
"A stag," Harry replied although he knew what was coming.
"I asked you them questions because your answers prove that you also from the other reality. Harry can't do a Patronus in this world because dementors never came to Hogwarts. After all, Sirius wasn't In Azkaban and so never escaped from it. Draco, you are in Ravenclaw in this world, and Severus, your Patronus, isn't a Doe."
"How do you know that, Lupin?" Severus snarled.
"Do it."
Severus looked at him for a long moment but did as he was told. "Expecto Patronum." To his surprise, his Patronus was a Lioness.
"And Severus, I know you don't like Harry or myself, but in this world, you are one of my closest friends and like a second parent to Harry. Unless you want everyone to know that we don't belong here, I suggest you change your attitude."
Severus looked like he wanted to remark back but stopped himself.
"And you two," Remus turned to Draco and Harry, "Are like brothers in this world, not enemies."
"Where is my father?" Draco asked tightly.
"In Azkaban, that is why you are with Sirius."
"Wait, is Voldemort in this world?" Harry asked suddenly.
"That I don't have a concrete answer to. Does your scar hurt?" Remus replied.
Harry shook his head, "no, not at all. Which is weird cause it was yesterday. What about Pettigrew?"
"He is in Azkaban." Severus spoke up, "From what I gather, he was caught all them years ago."
"If I am not a Slytherin, who are my friends?" Draco said for the first time in a while.
"You are close to Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville in Gryffindor. In Ravenclaw, you are friends with Terry Boot, Blaise Zabini, and Theo Nott."
Draco looked gobsmacked, "Blaise and Theo are in Ravenclaw?"
"Yep. Lavender Brown, Seamus Finnigan, and Parvati Patil are all Slytherins. The students in each class have moved around quite a lot." Remus answered.
"How do you know so much?" Draco questioned Remus.
"Because I had memories in my pensive of a lot of different events for some reason. I have watched as many as I can. I also have access to certain information like class lists."
"Can you tell us who we are meant to be close to?" Draco asked.
Remus nodded, "Of course, I can tell you what you are known for, I can also tell you about the dynamics of certain people. But just try and take other people's leads.
"That would be helpful," Draco nodded clearly scared, "Can you also tell us how we are meant to behave? Sirius was super confused by my behaviour, but I don't know how he expects me to act."
"Yes, of course, he expects you to love pranks, be very protective of your siblings, you call him dad, and you hate your biological father."
"I have to hate my father?" Draco repeated.
Remus nodded slowly, "I know, I know it's difficult, Draco. We all have to get used to different lives. Especially until we figure out how to get back."
"Is that even possible?" Severus asked incredulously.
Remus shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know honestly, I still don't know why we are here."
"Should we tell anyone?" Draco asked.
"I think we should tell the marauders and their wives," Remus replied.
"What about my wife?" Severus asked tightly.
Remus smirked, "You are a part of the marauders Severus, you replaced Peter after the war."
Severus looked like he was told he gained another head without knowing it. "I became apart of the one group who terrorised me for years? Why would I do that?"
Remus shrugged, "I don't know."
"I thought you had all the answers," Draco commented lightly.
"I wish I did, son." He replied gravely.
"I am nor your son!" Draco responded angrily, sounding more like the Draco Harry remembered. But before Remus could reply, there was a knock at the door.
"Severus calm him before he gives everything away," Remus ordered tensely.
"Draco, it was a term of endearment and kindness, get a grip, and act normally," Severus ordered firmly.
Draco looked surprised but nodded.
They cancelled the silencing charms, and Harry opened the door to his father.
"Finally, I didn't think you would ever let me in," he said lightly. Harry's father looked around and frowned, "What's wrong with you all, you're acting like I killed your puppy."
Remus recovered first, "No one puppy had died. We were just having a tense conversation."
Confusion clouded James' mind, "about what?"
"We will tell you later," Remus said meaningfully.
James thankfully didn't push further, "Come on, let's get you home, Draco you're staying with us tonight."
"WHAT!" Draco exploded.
"Okay, what is wrong with you all? I was willing to wait, but I'm not sure I can now." James said carefully.
"Why don't we all have a big sleepover tonight, once the kids are occupied we can tell you. We need everyone together." Remus offered, trying to come to a compromise.
"Well, the kids have been talking about having a big sleepover with no parents, why don't they stay at yours Remus, you have the biggest lounge area."
Remus nodded, "Sure, but we need to check with, erm" His wife's name left him, "Laya," He said triumphantly.
James shook his head, "I am honestly baffled by you lot. Lay already said it is fine. Harry and Draco, you can go with them."
"No!" All four of them shouted.
James put his hands up, "Okay, 0kay, they can join. But why? I don't think it's a conversation for children."
"Because they play a big part in the story. Plus, the boys will know things, Severus, or I won't know." Remus explained.
James shook his head, "Okay, let's go kids. Sev, Remus meets us at ours in an hour. If you don't help your wives with your kids, they might kill you."

Telling the kids that they were allowed to have the sleepover, made them very excited. However, they didn't understand why Draco and Harry wouldn't be joining them, which was awkward because the adults didn't know either (expect for Remus and Severus).
"Why can't Harry and Draco join the others?" Lily asked her husband. They were currently waiting for the adults to arrive. Harry was in his room, and Draco was coming with Sirius and Kathleen.
James shrugged, "Sev and Moony, was convinced they should join, something about them being involved in whatever is happening with them."
"What do you think it is?" Lily asked curiously.
"No idea. If it was just the kids doing something stupid, they wouldn't want everyone to know."
"Draco and Harry are acting like they hate each other." Lily added, "Just yesterday they were laughing and joking as normal. Do you think they fell out?"
"That wouldn't explain Remus and Sev acting weird though. Tanya said Sev nearly recoiled from her when she woke up, and he didn't seem to know who his kids were or what they were meant to be doing today."
"Do you think they are imposters?" Lily voiced what they had all been thinking.
"I don't think so, because they know some correct things that an imposter wouldn't know. It's almost as if they are from a different world. Harry looked shellshocked when he saw me earlier. It was as if he wasn't expecting to see me if he was an imposter he'd know about our family."
"What do they know that they wouldn't if they were imposters?"
"Remus knew how we got together in school," James said as if it was a grand revelation.
"James, most of the school knows how we got together." Lily pointed out, crossing her arms.
"Yeah, but they don't know that we didn't sleep together until the day after we got married. Everyone thought we did the day we got together, only the marauders knew the truth. He also knew that I stopped speaking to Sirius for a month after my parents were killed, because,"
"Because you thought his parents ordered it with him knowing about it." Lily interrupted and finished for him.
"Exactly, no one else knew that. And if Remus isn't, I doubt the boys are. Severus also knew about events that happened at school that no one else knew." James pointed out.
"Harry spent most of the meal talking to Byron, which isn't that unusual, but he didn't seem annoyed when Megan flirted with Caleb, which was weird."
"Meg flirted with Caleb?" James said outraged.
"James, focus."
"Okay, sorry. With Draco, the same applies. He screamed when he saw Siri this morning if he was an imposter, he wouldn't have had this reaction." James added.
"Okay, I agree," Lily said finally, "But something weird is still going on."
"I don't doubt that." James responded, bringing her into a hug, "But we will figure this out."

Authors note: Thank you so much for the reviews, follows and alerts. This is the first time I am writing as I post, but I'm excited about writing it. Please, please, please, write a review and let me know what you think, it helps me understand how to improve. Even if it's just two words I don't mind. It's hard knowing if you are enjoying it or finding certain things annoying if you don't tell me. Next chapter: the four are confronted, how will they explain their predicament?
