Short AN/Disclaimer: How we all liking the story so far, great right? Thanks for all the glowing reviews, and therefore, due to said reviews, I've been motivated to write chapter 2, and 3, and 4 instead of putting it off till next month like I previously planned. That said, I do not own the Naruto franchise nor its counterpart in this story, Fire force. This, as we all know, is merely a spinoff of the originals, now then; Die! and find peace in Valhalla! Just kidding on to the story…. Um, it's taking a bit of time loading…. Ah here we go. Downloading content.
Chapter 2: Dialogue… Oh! With the white clad.
"The hell was that" our resident Jedi Obiwan, not really, our current focus, Captain Obi of Fire force company 8 jerked upwards letting go of the barbells hung on his feet, allowing gravity to pull them to the ground hence resulting in two large dents in the flooring, a lot of unnecessary labor being created for someone else to fix later no doubt. He then proceeded to jump off the handle bar upon which he had been residing upside down. Yes, you guessed correctly he had previously been doing crunches off a handle bar with weights suspended by his toes, talk about crazy. Obi stepped out of his exercise room, and with his face just out the door, he had to duck to avoid being hit by a flying Kusakabe, with flaming streamers.
"What the…" Obi exclaimed with incredulity staining his voice, ducking below another burst, this time of a blue micro-cross followed by multiple shouts of 'the breath of life'.
"Hinawa, what's going on here" he asked his lieutenant who was standing a few paces away, wielding a small pistol, shooting pellets at the single armed man in orange on the other side of the corridor.
"Our still unknown guest over here got out, whether he's an enemy, white-clad or just confused, I don't know, but one thing's for sure, he's really good at dodging. I might have to start using live rounds" the plain looking man grunted out clearly irritated, all the while reaching into his pocket.
"We've talked about this Hinawa, no using live rounds on rookies and in the building" the captain's face was stern, the stare given by the lieutenant just as intense searching for any signs of weakness until he gave up and conceded.
"Fine, rubber bullets then" the brown-haired ex-military sighed, introducing a rubber clip into the gun as they watched Maki charge after the one armed unknown managed to grab Arthur and use him to teach a physics lesson on centripetal and centrifugal forces i.e. swing the poor blonde round and round, like a merry go round plugged to a nuclear generator till, he let go sending him sailing down the hallway in an opposite direction to Shinra. "Damn, he's really good at what he does, even though we're not going all out, he's still keeping us at bay one-handed, literally."
"Oi, don't praise the enemy!" Obi yelled, his jaw sliding open to epic proportions feasible only in the world of animes as he yelled at Hinawa creating a gust of wind to buffet Hinawa's suddenly transformed lanky form. After the yell, everything returned to normal, only Hinawa had to scrub his ear with his pinky to restore his hearing.
"We'll need you if we are to subdue him" he turned to look at the man who originated the company 8.
"Alright, after all, the captain place is on the frontlines, not cowering in the bunker." A smirk that some would call arrogant, others, cocky, found its way to his face. "Yeah to hell with it all! I'm gonna charge right at him! Rock on!" and with his weird way of psyching himself done, Obi raced out to support his company.

I frowned to myself wondering if I jumped the gun by attacking first, cuz it was due to my panicked thrust, tossing the young man into a wall that the confrontation took on a new dimension. And to think I had been trying to get out undetected, oh well. Wait, why am I blaming myself, it's a universal rule not to try sneaking up on a ninja. Dude tried to sneak up on a ninja. Though that's neither here nor there. I returned my attention to immediate matters.
The girl with purple eyes came at me, her taijustu was good, not Gai good, but enough to at least take on a chunin solo, though she was a bit easy to read.
Jab. Jab. Uppercut. Right Hook. Grab. Repeat. Each and every move parried or dodged with little to no effort, even with my one-arm handicap. The unmistakable sound of feet stampeding towards my position, I grabbed the girl by her outstretched left arm as she pulled back for a follow-up. Quickly spinning her around, back pressed against my chest, my impromptu shield squawked unagreeably. Our eyes met brown shocked ones that belonged to her colleague, the charging man hastily pulling back to avoid harm to his partner. Capitalizing on the lull in the assault, I knife-chopped the girl, rendering her unconscious and tossed her to the surprised dude. The other guy, the one with the weird hat, aimed his weapon at me and no sooner did my eyes track the river of smoke bomb sized balls screaming towards me. Hurriedly pulling my left arm up, my only arm, I deflected the swarm, noting that they had little piercing power. What exactly was going on.
"Hey, I can't work with all this noise, what's all the ruckus about" a newcomer announced. Risking a glance, I peered from behind my one-handed shield. A redhead. Muscles well defined, built like one who worked with tools regularly, he still held that raiton weapon.
That was when I remembered why he looked familiar. I gulped lightly, nervous. Hey, I had a bad history with lightning users; blasted straight through the chest twice by a lightning user, brained by another, a buff dude who used it as armor, and the first missing nin I encountered from my own ancestral descent (to say, from the same village as mine, damn you Yamato-sensei. Damn you and your crazy lessons) had stolen a lightning sword. And guess what, my missing arm? Was due to another lightning justu. So, yeah, not my fault if I'm wary of lightning users. The annoying pelting ceased, the engineer turning to address the newcomer. Without any thought to it, I pulled my stubby arm against my chest, blocking a strike from the shorter blond-haired boy; the one I had originally tossed into a wall. With a twirl and a shove, I gained a short reprieve and paid half an ear to the newcomer.
"Vulcan" the bespectacled man greeted. They were close enough for me to hear, clearly. Although that was unavoidable, considering it was a short corridor.
"Lieutenant, what's going on" The shaggy haired boy, the one, who shot fire out his feet came at me.
"Our guest woke up, and due to some misunderstandings, things blew out of proportion and here we are" Hinawa grunted out.
"Well, why didn't you try diplomacy, you know, talk it out" Obi frowned, setting the unconscious Maki against the wall.
"You think I wouldn't! Situation got compounded" Hinawa grunted "hot-headed no good rookies" the man grumbled under his breath.
"What's that mean" Vulcan asked, before turning around, taking in the scene. Shinra and Arthur attacked fluidly, Shinra leaping into the orange-clad man with a short burst of fire. Arthur ran under him, a smaller version of his sword Excalibur clenched tightly. while Viktor quaked, ducking behind the walls of the office, still engaged in yelling encouragements to the rookie fire fighters. "Okay, I see our point."
"Alright then, time to end this" Obi rose to his full height, his face set in an expression of utmost seriousness. Up till a sliding Arthur crashed into him, Shinra bouncing off the wall, and rolling to a stop by the entrance to the rec room. "ENNOOOUUGGGHHHH" the man screamed, steam billowing out his nose in utmost irritation.
"Hey" he shouted at Naruto, garnering his full attention. "Quit pummeling my company, asshole."
"Hmm, you say something." Naruto didn't mean to sound like his sensei, but it simply came out. Obi's face slowly turned red from the bottom up, steam blasting out his ears, making a whistling sound. He made a conscious effort to choke down his irritation.
"Look, let's all just calm down. Relax, have some tea and talk." He breathed out, looking at each member of his company for defiance.
"Sure, I could go for some tea right 'bout now, soon as you all tell me where the devils I am." Naruto regarded them with new interest, maybe they didn't capture him. He would give them the benefit of doubt.
Out of the corner of his eyes, Obi saw something move, something small and pink. Too late, its meaning hit him. "Tamaki, don't." Having taken advantage of the pause in the fighting, the flaming cat girl flipped, angling her fall so her tails would crash against Naruto's chest. Her ploy worked. Shinra and Arthur cheered. Naruto, though, was not very happy.
"Hahahahaha!" the grating laugh sounded wrong coming from the seemingly easy going fellow. "Misdirection ehh?" he grabbed the girl out of the air before she could retreat. Bringing her face close to his, blue met gold. Her startled expression and fearful gold eyes brought a nonfamiliar relish to him. "Perhaps I'll spare you all a painful death." An unbidden wind began to pick up around him, whipping into a frenzy. A blueish glow was next to be seen, beginning at his legs and slowly climbing up his form. Tamaki still strained for air unable to break eye contact with those of her captor, shining orbs which had taken on a glacial edge.
"Tamaki! Let go of her you jerk" Shinra jumped to his feet, racing towards the shinobi and the unintentional stripper. Vision tunneled to the junction between her neck and his hands, Shinra failed to see the foot come up till it smashed into his face. His speed, coupled with the adhesive force of chakra made his face stick to the soles of the sandal, as it rose, peaked and began a quick descent, going on to crater the passageway. Naruto stared at the boy squirming beneath his soles. Focused he was, he paid no attention to the approaching foe. Vulcan, geared with his armored suit rocketed into the absent-minded ninja with the force of a two-wheeled vehicle. Abruptly, he let go of Tamaki, allowing her to crash to the floor, desperately sucking in great gulps of air in needy, starved breaths.
Boom! Crash! There went a wall.
Boom! Crash! And the other behind it.
Naruto burst out the company building, sailing off the building's topmost floor. Now, for most civilians, this would spell certain death, or hospitalization. For inexperienced fire soldiers, a world of hurt. Seasoned fire soldiers and most ninjas, a painful but ignorable annoyance. Naruto, was none of those. Flipping midair from a prone position to having his feet angled downwards, he made no move to resist gravity, in fact, he encouraged his body to slam into the soil beneath him. The members of company 8 (excluding Maki, Tamaki and Sister Iris) crowded around the hole in the wall waiting for the dust to clear up. The floating layer of light sand and silt shielding their quarry from view finally abated. And to their greatest shock, he glared at them couched low in a meter-deep crater. Naruto slowly rose to full height, glaring at each one of them.
"Damn" Shinra peered down at their blonde opponent, half listening to the chatter going on around him. Identifiably, the cuss came from Vulcan "That guy can take a hit."
"Hey, uhh, Captain Obi" Viktor called. The scientist sounded even more nervous than back when they faced off against Sho down in the nether. "You think we'll win this one."
"I don't know, but I'll tell you that is one tough bull." Obi stood behind his team, withholding a shudder from spreading though him as he made eye-contact with those frosted orbs.
Shinra grinned blasting off the ledge with his trademark devil's footprints left behind as a reminder, 'hey, my feet were just here. Going faster than many could track, the group faltered when Naruto met him threequarters the way down. In the hindsight, Shinra conceded that it wasn't his best move and that whatever deity was out there had it out for him. It played out in slow-mo. Shinra's red irises widening as Naruto's own rage-filled eyes shimmered into existence right in front of him. He had never anticipated anyone could react to his speed. For someone to match it, and correctly predict his position was beyond shocking. As such, when Naruto left fist sailed point blank at his cheek, he could do naught but stare into the beautiful blue spheres before him. Knuckles coated in residual chakra blazed towards unguarded cheek, and suddenly Shinra's admirable speed became his downfall.
According to the laws of physics, energy was interchangeable, kinetic energy could be transformed to potential energy and vice versa. So, it served to reason that Shinra's amazing amount of kinetic energy was transformed to potential energy the moment it came to rest against Naruto's fist; which brought with it, Naruto's own kinetic energy, also being changed to potential. Mass and acceleration equaled force, therefore their large masses, cumulated horrendous speed meant… Shinra blasted backwards, to and through a brand-new body-shaped window, the mother of all sucker punches sponsoring his first-class flight.
"Get down!" Obi shouted "we can't risk anymore damage to the building." The quintuplet had different ways of alighting the building. Vulcan reactivated his suit and grabbed Viktor before hovering of the ledge, making no move to attack. Hinawa infused his fire-manipulation into live rounds, controlling the tiny bursts of explosions from his weapon to slow down his descent. Obi, jumped from ledge to ledge, whooping and hollering as he approached earth. Arthur jumped off, before pulling a mini Excalibur and digging it into the side of the building to enable him slide down the building safely.
"Oi, I said no more damage to the company building" Obi shouted at his fifth recruit.
"Sorry sir" Arthur hit the ground, kicking up a swirl of dust before dashing towards the patient ninja. Drawing on Excalibur, he donned his game face. "Thou worthless villain. You dare to attack the castle of the knight king. You will feel the blade of Excalibur." He opened with a wide swipe. The blue luminescent sword swelling to greater lengths now that they were out of confined spaces. Naruto leaped backwards, allowing Arthur to press forwards on his charge. A backhanded slash made him leap into the air, vaulting off Arthur's shoulders only to receive another full body check, this time from a suited Obi. Naruto rolled across the road, before managing to right himself and slid another ten yards on his sandaled feet. Hinawa dashed off before flipping vertically, his glasses reflecting the surprised visage of Naruto, before peppering him with a bullet shower. Pulling his arms into a hasty block, the man in orange winced when he noticed these strikes were a lot more painful than the last. Yet he noticed after hitting, the bullets remained suspended in air as if by chakra threads.
"Shot Ricochet" the bullets quivered as if suspended by puppet strings, then rounded back on Naruto.
Back with Shinra
"Ughh" I groaned, colors swirling and shifting before slowly coming into focus in my eyes. I could hear someone talking above me, but for the life of me, I couldn't make out what they were saying. The vocalization sounded like a warbling frog. My head spun, rang, and swam, along with a whole lot of other motions that shouldn't be attributed to human locomotion. Like it had been surrounded by a giant water balloon. A few moments passed in confusion, and then fog on my brain lifted, I could hear Tamaki weakly calling my name and blearily make out something white in front of me.
'Cotton white,' I noted as everything finally came into focus.
Where the hell was I? I shifted my weight, noting that I was slumped on my knees. Looking about with burning pain in my eyes, I noted I had my head between the girl's legs, and my palms… I squeezed once, twice… were cupping her supple boob flesh.
"Get off me you jerk" Tamaki wheezed.
"Gah, sorry about that" I jerked back, before falling on my face again gasping in pain, fighting the urge to scream and writhe about. Someone else groaned further down the hallway, twisting my neck, I watched Maki's eyes flutter open.
"Hah, wha-what hit me? Where's the blonde guy?" she asked breathlessly. Deeper, from the stairway, the sound of approaching footsteps garnered all our attention. There was only one person who wasn't present during the altercation with the jerk. Iris.
And true to that fact, she appeared, her usual inviting smile glued to her lovely face causing her eyes to squint. And then they flew open so forcefully, I could almost hear them pull apart. She must have been beyond alarmed, and it was hard not to be. There were three holes in the walls, two of them overlapping each other, and the other which I came through. A huge dent caused by Arthur's body. Various cracks and chips, burn marks and slashes littered the walls and ceiling, alongside the plentiful rubble.
"What happened? Are you all alright? Didi that man turn into a demon inferno? Where's Captain Obi and the others?" rapid fire questions, she assaulted us with.
"I can't believe I let my guard down and got taken out of the fight so easily." Maki rose to her feet, steadying herself against the wall. She pounded the same fist, hard enough it widened a small crack running up to the ceiling, causing white powder from the ceiling beams to shower us. I slowly alit from my floor perch, my fingers clawing at air as I detached them from floor, seeking its comfort. Before me, Tamaki did the same, but her hand had yet to leave her throat, underneath her fingers, I noticed some light bruising. For some unexplainable reason, spotting it filled me with the urge to flash over to the jerk and punch his lights out, his retribution be damned. Weird, as I had never felt that way before for anyone except my mom, Sho and… uh, that's beside the point.
Slowly, I crawled on my feet, back from whence I came through, the newly crafted, Shinra-shaped window. The girls followed me, Iris lifting her robe to avoid being caught and pulled down by stray rubble, Tamaki still favoring her neck while Maki rolled her shoulder where she had been struck. Together we looked out the hole, foreheads cramming against each other, trying to get enough space to properly see. Outside the blonde jerk, we still didn't have his name, weaved and slithered through attacks, though at a much slower pace than before, but refused to go on the offensive.
"We should get down there," Maki said quietly "we should go help them."
"How can he move so fluidly, even after losing an arm" Iris questioned no one in particular.
"Don't care, hang on" I grabbed Tamaki and Iris, not a hard job to go about, and flew down to the chaos below. I knew Maki would not be far behind us.

Naruto observed his captors with great displeasure. He played on their desire to recapture him, simply weaving through harmful attacks and withholding himself from following his instincts to capitalize on the various weak spots they practically mounted on gold platters and offered him. Multiple presences, not belonging to those he was currently engaged in combat with approached. He looked up, to see the dark-haired lad, effortlessly lifting two females. He recognized them, the gold eyed one, she had attacked him, taking his gracious offer for diplomacy as farce. And the light-haired lady who had been engaged in a sort of ritual when he had recently escaped the confines of his enclosure, who he had seen half naked, mind you.
The boy let them drop, and another figure joined them, Maki (not that he knew her name) accompanied by her high-tech combat devices dubbed 'Tekkyo'. Surveying the gathered crowd, Naruto withheld a small smile, his surprisingly enhanced sensory abilities, for the life of him, he had no idea of why it was so, informed him that the building was empty. Ever since he began to actively use chakra, he felt as if everything around him was made of some brittle material, like eggshells, or glass. Hard to touch, but extremely fragile. It left him puzzled him, he had no memories yet of how he woke in the clutches of these people, only of the war he had recently on. Suddenly he stood in a place where he felt like expending too much chakra would cause the very earth to shatter, facing down people with strange powers and devices. It stood to reason anyone else would freak out. "Later," he thought, he would figure it all later… now? He allowed the straining smile to show, in all its mischievous brilliance, and in turn, his opponents tensed. He could now make his escape without fear of being spotted or tracked by anyone orchestrating the whole debacle. Arms (one arm and a stub) rose, slowly swinging to a vantage point, his fingers coming to rest just above his shoulders. Around his feet, dust began to rise, small pebbles in the surrounding areas clattering as if debunking the gravitational pull of the earth to seek shelter within his. A soft humming noise singing through the atmosphere.
"Whatever he's doing I don't like it. I don't like it at all." Viktor quailed behind is company's forerunner, seeking refuge behind his armored bodice.
"Captain, think we should attack now" Maki had her metal smashers face the ninja, read to swoop in at a flick of the hand.
The dust surged higher and just as it came up to Naruto's waist, a huge cloud of white smoke exploded at his position, blotting out vision. The members of company 8 closed the gap cautiously, swiping at the air to clear the weird smoke. When it was all gone, so was their quarry. The tall, blue-eyed, blonde jerk, as aptly described by Shinra vanished like the cloud that previously cloaked his buff frame. Something was left behind, a solitary piece of harmless paper, where it came from all but lost to one Arthur Boyle.
"Huh, how'd this get here" the dumb swordsman kneeled, a singular hand reaching out to the useful by product of wood pulp.
"Arthur, careful, we don't know what that is. I must have ben dropped by that bastard" Shinra near-shouted.
"Calm down, ya devil. It's just a harmless piece of paper. See," he picked it up, holding it to eyelevel allowing the force to coalesce around him, struggling to get a look. Suddenly a bright glow sparked to life at the edge. Due to their closely packed nature, push came to shove as they all sought to escape the swelling brightness, the fear of the unknown fueling their efforts. It was for naught though, as within the light, various splattering noises broke free. Visibility returned to normalcy, revealing the special fire force company 8 covered head to toe in varying degrees of multi-colored paints and sticky jet-black ink. Arthur got the brunt of it, as the seal had been held right at his face. His bright yellow hair and stunned unblinking features buried in a gigantic dollop of ink, his gear looking like a clown on a fifty-dollar job.
"DDAAAMMMM IIIITTTT!" the more extroverted, boisterous fire fighters; namely, Obi, Shinra, Arthur, Maki and Tamaki screamed. Hinawa sighed, having been pushed far beyond the limits of his annoyance. Iris perfectly imitated a deer in headlights. Her head swiveled cutely left to right, before squeaking out in embarrassment, the red of her face managing to surpass the paint concealing it. Vulcan stared, dumbfounded, at the now circus that were he and his colleagues and beside him, Viktor channeled efforts to trap the dispersing smoke, unbothered by the art explosion he was a part of. "For analysis" he kept repeating to himself, seemingly unruffled, or just unobservant, of the fact that his billowing lab coat helped disperse them faster.
Two blocks away, atop an industrial tower, Naruto stared down from his perch as company 8 squawked around, in a similar manner to headless chickens. Giggling to himself, he remembered the frequent shouts of that bomber psychopath. "Art is an explosion. Certainly, fits the bill here, that'll teach them to restrain the one and only Uzumaki Naruto." He huffed to himself, "now, how to find my way back to Konoha." Sadly, and unfortunately for him, that would take a lot more time and effort than he realized.

After hours- see minutes- of decrying their lost prisoner, they decided to regroup in the debriefing room.
"He couldn't have gone far, could he?" Tamaki balled her fists against the hardwood table, a vengeful smile playing at the corners of her lips "I say we go after him."
"Tamaki!" the young cat-girl faltered. Obi was not a happy camper, err captain. Captain. " If it weren't for you going against my orders, we might have been sitting 'round a table, knowing how and why he came here. But you attacked him when he let his guard down. I'm sure that's what caused him to flip out as he did." The girl flinched, staring at the varnished wood where she could barely see her reflection. She could feel the burning stares upon her back, feel their disapproval. "This is the second time that's happened. Strike two. One more and you get a week's suspension of duties. Understand"
Her face snapped upwards, dread palpable on her face ,spine going rigid in shock. around her, she could sense the stares of disbelief all levelled at her captain, not just hers. A suspension, while on a suspension- on the verge of being a full transfer- she would be the first to ever achieve such. Might as well slap a black star on her file, she would never be promoted past rookie, and would kiss her nun dreams goodbye. Hell, she could be stuck forever as the coffee girl, never going out on missions. Maybe that was a bit excessive, but not unforeseeable.
"Do you understand me, Tamaki?" Obi's voice was soft, full of concern. He knew the weight his words carried, much more than anyone present could fathom, barring Hinawa, who had been in the army. He was not harsh or callous that his feelings of empathy were dead. But still, he was a leader, he couldn't let his soldiers fire at their own discretion, and walk away without consequence, especially when it cost the company so much.
"Y-yes sir" her voice quivered, her eyes stung, she choked back a sob. Harsh words would have been much more welcome than the sympathy she could hear clear as day. Fighting the urge to dash off, and seek shelter within her sheets, she forced her self to stand et could barely hear the proceedings. In the back of her mind, she cursed the 'blonde asshole' her words not mine.
Naruto moved languidly, strolling the streets of Company 8's district. Staring at the buildings, houses, stalls, and stands he passed on his way. One thing was clear to him now, wherever he was, he was far away from Konoha. It was evening. Six, if he were to place a bet, and even then, the northern placed star that normally marked the ring of the kunai constellation was yet to show. That was only possible if he was so far south, but then, he would have been able to spot the cloud-grazing mountains of Land of Lightning to the north-west. Again, all fingers pointed at Yamato-sensei. Insisting he would not have students who couldn't find their way around or recognize landmarks. Annoying that had been, when he started out, he was a slow learner with books, it had actually paid off.
He mentally reminded himself to thank the man the only way he knew how, with some ramen.
"Mhh, ramen, great, now I want ramen" Naruto chided himself " I wonder if I can find some around here." All around him, store-owners were packing up for the night, eager to get home to their awaiting families, and sleep the day's troubles away. His stomach grumbled some more, Naruto gripped it over his jacket, hard.
"Shush you" louder, angrier grumbling ensued as if to say 'lemme go and I'll get my own food.' The hungry ninja frowned "I know, I know. Man, I'd settle for anything right now."
"Hello, stranger" Naruto spun around, his whole body tensed, so far, meeting new people had never gone well. Behind him, a girl wearing a giant of a smile and very light hair. Tipping on the verge of being white. She donned an even weirder ensemble; a fluffy looking onesie with cut-outs on her shoulders and around her forearms. The dress was bunched at the wrists and shin, giving a show of her ankles and dainty feet. Lastly, she wore a crown, around her eyes, instead of the article's usual placement at the, well, crown of the head. Obscuring her facial features.
"Hi, what do you want" he tried as much as possible to sound unguarded, less edgy. Didn't do a very good job, though. The girl giggled lightly.
"No need to be so high strung, we're all friends here. Right, my name's Haumea." The girl spoke as if they were old friends, reuniting after years of being apart.
"Yeah, friends. I barely even know you, hell I just met you" he thought to himself, on the outside, politely replying "Naruto, I'm Naruto"
Haumea's smile, if possible, extended. After the incantation, a powerful surge of power hit the white-clad base. She had been sent, to avoid any slip-ups by lackeys, to ascertain if it were their target, and return said target to base. Her electrical impulse control would have given her total domination over any inferno, regular or demon. Finding a boy, had her ecstatic. With a fully living organism, she could actually communicate, the fact he was good-looking, extremely so, was simply a bonus. Too bad, she still had to mind-jack him.
"So, you'll be coming with me now, we've been awaiting you." Her voice cold, she gave her command, an almost invisible blue arc dancing through the air and striking against his skull. "Sigh, mission accomplished."
"Uh, okay. Just hope you not with that group I just escaped." Naruto voiced his concerns, an accusatory tone riding from his esophagus.
Haumea tripped over her feet, steadied herself before turning around incredulously to stare at the boy still fully in his mental capabilities. He had no impulse-dispersing plasma. So how did he break it. Distrust showed in his face and shifting posture, and she remembered his statement. Swinging her arms in front of his face, she answered rapidly.
"No, no, no, no, no. I'm not with those meanies." She made a funny face, as if upset at being bunched together with the fire fighters. Thereafter she collected herself and prepared an even bigger dose, and sweeter tone. "Let's go, it's close to night time." She turned back, picking her path expecting him to follow wordlessly.
"Alright, just have some food ready for me when we get there, and I'm A-Okay." She stared at the boy walking alongside her, perplexed. No one could resist her impulse control without heated plasma, and yet he did so easily. He could resist all he could, as long as he went with her, it was of little concern. At least she would have someone to talk to. Naruto, continually shrugged off the feeling plaguing him. Something's not right here, his instinct kept shoving on him. He assured himself, reaching inwards to grab at his chakra. He was three-quarters, full capacity and increasing rapidly as usual. If push came to shove, he could always break out his multiple trump cards. It was what kept him from flying off the handle and going full steam, back then. Wherever Haumea was taking him, he would go. If it came down to brawling, he could get himself out. He could even find his way back home, who knows.

Chapter two is finally complete. Whooo, 'waves flag painted with victory sign'. Sorry for all the delays, y'all. Watch out for the next update, and if you haven't, check out my other story 'Damned Namikaze'. I promise it won't disappoint. Now, I realize I didn't make it clear. Naruto is from immediately after the way. Rather, I'm taking this as he's spent a day or two healed, recuperating and recovering. Now, usually the good guys get it down, explain the sit' and everyone joins forces against the badies. But if you just went through a war, suddenly waking up to find yourself in a building full of fire manipulating people, you'd freak out as well, right. But Naruto won't be teaming up with the white clad, if you think that's where I'm going with this. Look out to find out what happens next, cuz I'm not the type to give out spoilers. Thanks for the reviews, keep em' coming.
Ciao, GreenBar17.
