-Chapter Three-

Location: The Nemesis - The Decepticon Warship and The Ark - The Autobot Ship.

Note: This is a chapter I've been dying to write ever since I started this book and so, here it is!

Amber looked around nervously, eyes scanning the Decepticon warship referred to as the "Nemesis" with curious yet fearful eyes.

It was wide- very wide and purple. Amber loved purple but the ship looked gloomy the way it was covered in it, top to bottom. The gloominess was increased due to the lights being dim. The whole ship gave off the feeling of foreboding.

Amber watched the many Decepticons around her. The were silent and unmoving. They only moved to give Megatron space to walk through. Amber's feeling of foreboding increased with each step she took leading further into the ship.

Megatron walked further on until he saw the Decepticon he was looking for. He was a blue transformer with a red visor and white coloured faceplate.

Megatron walked towards him as Starscream rolled his optics. Faintly, Amber heard him whisper "Of course the first Decepticon he has to see is Soundwave"

Megatron began a conversation with the Decepticon known as "Soundwave". The conversation was held in voices low enough for neither the Decepticons nor Amber to hear them. Finally, Megatron turned around and said "Decepticons, go do your jobs. Did I ask you to stare at us?"

At once, all the Decepticons shuffled over towards the ship hallways, going to their assigned rooms, or so, it seemed, all except for Starscream, who stayed a moment, offered Amber a smirk and then left.

"Amber" said Megatron, making Amber freeze in fear for a moment before turning around towards him. Amber could offer nothing but a "Yes?"

"Follow me" said Megatron simply, turning towards a hallway to walk through to some unknown destination.

Amber knew this could very well cost her her life but the question slipped out of her before she could stop it. "Wh- where? Why?"

Megatron stopped and turned around once more to face Amber as he smiled a horrifying smile.

"Because I need to ask a few questions"

Amber restrained herself from sighing. She was tired. The day had been long. She didn't know where her sister was and now, she was in a Decepticon warship with no way to get out and no other option but to follow Megatron's orders and so, she did so by following him to wherever he wanted her to.

Hiba watched the Autobot ship, The Ark with wide astonished eyes. She had never been in a Cybertronian spaceship before and being in one was definately a treat of a lifetime. The ship was of a faded gold colour but was amazing. It was filled with tech and Autobots roaming here and there and Hiba couldn't help but be excited, although that bubble of excitement vanished when she remembered her sister was nowhere to be found and she couldn't share this awesome scene with her.

"Hey, what's the matter?"

Hiba turned around suddenly in the direction of the voice. The voice was sweet and kind and it's originator was a white and pink transformer who had the Autobot symbol emblazoned on her chest.

"Hiba, right?" she asked before Hiba could respond to her last question.

"Y- yeah" said Hiba. "What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Arcee" said the Autobot. "I heard a lot about you. Right now, I saw you looking sad so I wondered what happened"

Hiba was about to tell her her problem when Optimus Prime suddenly spoke up.

"Autobots, this is Hiba. She has joined this ship for now. We will be in charge of finding her lost sister and I hope till then, you will all behave nicely to her"

Hiba looked around and saw all the Autobots either saying "Yes" or nodding. She knew her stay would be entertaining and she couldn't wait to find her sister and tell her about this whole spaceship adventure.

Meanwhile, back at the Nemesis, Amber was having her own "spaceship adventure" as Megatron led her towards one of the rooms which was labelled as "The Interrogation Room" and Amber couldn't help but gulp as she saw that sign.

Soundwave opened the door and they went inside.

When Amber went inside, she restrained herself from gasping with difficulty. She was disgusted by the whole interior of the room. There was a table with one chair for the interrogator and two others for the person or persons to be interrogated but the other half of the room was- horrifying.

There was a chair with chains on it which were stained in some liquidy-blue substance along with what horribly looked like blood. There were stains of blood on the floor to and scruff marks as well and Amber, who was more disgusted than terrified, looked away from the sight and focused her attention to where she was being taken to. She was being taken to the desk with the three chairs and Amber couldn't help but feel a little relieved at being taken there instead of- well, she didn't want to think about it.

When they reached the desk, Megatron sat in the interrogator's seat and Soundwave stood behind him. Then Megatron waved his hand at Amber in a gesture that she guessed was telling her to sit down. Amber sat down but a little hesitantly.

"Well then-" started Megatron. "I did bring you here because as I told you, I wanted to ask you some questions, right?"

Amber couldn't find the strength to speak so she just nodded "Yes".

"Then, let me start"

Amber waited for the first question and then it came. "I asked you before and I ask you again, are you an Autobot spy?"

Amber still didn't feel like talking but she knew she had to so she said "No, I am not an Autobot spy"

Megatron said, still looking at Amber "Soundwave, confirm that answer for me"

Amber looked up at Soundwave in shock. This person could read minds?

"She is not lying" said Soundwave. His voice shocked Amber further. His voice was not like any other Cybertronian or human either. It was an emotionless monotone and it made Amber feel uncomfortable for some reason.

"Good" said Megatron. "As for my second question-" Megatron continued, wearing a very horrible looking smirk. "-do you wish to be an Autobot though?"

Amber knew she was stuck in this one and she knew that Soundwave already knew her answer too but she didn't want to hide it anyway (even though she knew this answer could well, mean the end for her) so she said as confidently as she could "I do. I do wish to be an Autobot"

Megatron surprisingly, did not shoot her with his fusion cannon. Instead, he leaned back as though satisfied with Amber's answer and then put a hand over his comms and said "Acidstorm, report to the Interrogation room immediately"

A few minutes passed in silence as they waited for this said "Acidstorm". A few minutes later, Acidstorm entered. She was a green coloured Decepticon and had two Decepticon symbols emblazoned on both her wings. She looked tired for some reason but the moment she saw Megatron, she said attentively "Yes, sir?"

Megatron looked at her a few moments before looking back at Amber and saying "For your honesty-" and then his eyes darted back to Acidstorm, "-Acidstorm, lock her up in one of the most comfortable cells we have"

Amber looked shocked. Really?

Hiba watched one of the windows of the Ark silently. She had just finished explaining everything to Arcee. She had been allowed to stay aboard the Autobots' ship somehow by her parents and was now watching the clouds swirl through the window. She never kept this quiet yet her sister's absence made her feel torn.

Arcee meanwhile, who was sitting right next to Hiba, felt sad for her and therefore offered, "Hey, you wanna play something? I mean, maybe you're not in the mood but I just thought-"

"It's okay" said Hiba. "I want to play. My sister wouldn't want me to be sad"

Arcee looked at her sadly before saying "Okay, so this is one of my favorite Cybertronian games-"

Hiba listened to Arcee explaining the game rules and smiled. She would find her sister and they would play this game with her together.

Author's Note: I'm sorry I'm not giving Hiba as much of a role as I am giving Amber so wait- you'll see what I've planned eventually so till then,

Happy Reading! :)
