Chapter 3: Proper Anne-terductions

Flying over the Emerald Forest, the bus from earlier is on its way back to Beacon Academy.

Inside, everyone was tired and eager to get back. But one group couldn't get any rest just yet. They had to go to their headmaster to explain the situation to their new friend Anne.

"So, We will explain to Ozpin what happened in the forest," Ruby explains to Anne.

"Pssh seems simple enough," Anne replied.

Weiss added."You must also present yourself as reasonable and not wreckless like how you were earlier,"

"It wasn't that bad," She sheepishly argued.

"Well, you could have been hurt or worse by that Major." Blake points out.

"Ok, maybe you have a point." Anne partially agrees with Blake's point. "But, how about we see what this Oz guy has to say, First,"

"Don't sweat, Forest girl. Ozpin's probably will hear you out." Yang assured Anne. "Besides, If he can let my little sis into Beacon two years early, Why wouldn't he help you."

Anne turned to Ruby for her to explain. But Ruby mouthed 'Later,"

Weiss rolled her eyes at her friends and then spotted their destination in the corner of her eye. "Anyways, Anne, we're here."

Anne looked out the window and was lost for words and could manage to muster one thing. "Woah…"

Out the window of this flying bus was a massive castle-like tower that reached high into the sky with many huge, white, and gray buildings all around the tower.

This place is Beacon Academy, One of the four prestigious schools in charge of training the next generation of Huntsmen to protect the world of Remnant from the Grimm.

Seeing the school from above, Anne couldn't help but feel like she was looking at something from a fantasy movie that her friend Marcy would make her watch.

"You guys live here?!" Anne asked, pointing at the school.

"Yep," Ruby replied, proudly popping the P. "The coolest school in the world."

"And you're about to step foot in it," Yang added.

"True, Beacon is very prestigious." Weiss agreed. "So be on your best behavior, please."

The bus finally landed, and its passengers disembarked. Anne followed Team RWBY through the courtyard making their way to Beacon tower. Anne was looking around at all this courtyard had to offer.

Students carrying crazy-looking weapons, flying airships, and some robots?! Not to mention a flying orange and pink blur flying straight at her-

"WHAT THE! OOPPPHHH!" Anne shouted, making Team RWBY jump out of the way of the blur. Anne and the blur rolled on the ground before coming to a stop with Anne lying on the ground.

Sitting on top of her was a ginger-haired girl with a short tomboyish hairstyle, big aqua eyes, and wearing a massive grin. She proceeded to poke Anne in the nose. "Boop."She said when she did it.

"Told, ya I get you Ru- Wha?" The new girl stopped when she realized she had tackled the wrong person. "Wait a sec, your not Ruby,"

"N-Nope, I'm not." Anne tried to say while being crushed by this newcomer.

On cue, three other people (two boys and another girl) ran up to the two, followed by RWBY.

"Nora, please get off this girl." One of the boys asked the girl, now known as Nora. "That's not Ruby, and I believe you are crushing her."

"Whoopsies!" Nora apologized and then stood up, giving Anne the chance to catch her breath. "Sorry about that."

"H-honest M-mistake." Anne wheezes, giving her a thumbs-up, showing them she was all right.

Anne gets helped up by the boy with magenta-colored eyes, long black hair with a matching single magenta streak tied into a ponytail down his back, and dressed in green.

"Sorry about Nora, She's friendly." He explained about his energetic friend.

"I can see that. But I have experience with friends like her." Anne replied.

Then the other boy walked up to Anne to get a good look at her. He had clear blue eyes and a mop of somewhat kempt blonde hair. He wore knight's armor over a rather casual-looking black hoodie and jeans.

"Hey, Wait! Are you Anne?" He asked.

Anne was shocked that this random guy already knew her name. "Uhh, How'd you know my name?" She asked.

The boy realized his mistake and proceeded to apologize like a goober.

"OH! Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you like that! It's just that Ruby texted us that she found a new friend in the woods named Anne. I kinda thought you were her." He explained.

Ruby's teammates look at their leader "Eh, hee hee, Well, you see, I might have told JNPR about Anne when we boarded the bus and wanted them all to be friends." She explains with an innocent smile you make when you make an honest mistake before her team's glares make her shrink again.

"We'll talk about this later," Weiss whispered to her partner. Ruby gulped at Weiss's response.

"And I'm Jaune, by the way." He said, introducing himself properly. "I should have started with that."

"It's a start, Jaune." The other girl says, patting his shoulder. "And this is Pyrrha."

Jaune introduced Anne to the rather tall girl with long red hair in a ponytail, emerald green eyes, and dressed like a spartan from a movie or game about Ancient Greece that Marcy would show her.

"Hello there." Pyrrha greets Anne.

"And you've already met Ren and Nora." He said, gesturing towards the boy in green, then to the energetic redhead.

"Nice to meet you." Ren greeted Anne. "Howdy!" Nora beamed.

"You guys too," Anne replied.

"Wow! Interesting friends, you go here, guys," Anne said to Ruby.

"Yeah, Isn't Beacon great! Being here, I've tripled my lifetime record in making friends." Ruby boasted.

"Yes, yes, we're all friends." Weiss groaned. "Can we please talk later? We still have to go see Ozpin." Reminding her team.

"Oh Yeah, I almost forgot!" Ruby exclaimed, grabbing Anne's hand. "Let's go, Team RWBY!"

"Oh, not again!" Anne screamed while being dragged by Ruby's red petal cloud again.

"See you around, new friend." Nora waved to Anne as Ruby carried her off.

Team JNPR and the rest of RWBY get left behind by the speedy Ruby and her unfortunate passenger.

"We should probably go after them," Blake suggested.

"Agreed," Weiss added as she and Blake ran after the duo.

"Well, nice catching you guys!" Yang said to JNPR. "Catch you on the flip side." She says as she runs after her teammates.

JNPR then starts to head back to their dorm room.

"Anne sure is lively," Pyrrha noted.

"Yes, something tells me that things are certainly going to be something else with her," Ren added.

"At Beacon, It always is. Well crazy at this school." Jaune jokes.

"Isn't it awesome! More friends, Means more adventures!" Nora shouted excitedly.

They all chuckled a little bit and kept walking.

Beacon tower's elevator-

"Ok, this place is way bigger than I thought." Anne deadpanned while looking out the elevator window.

"It still blows my mind every time I come up here," Ruby replied as what looked like a tiny explosion cloud erupted on the top of her head.

"Prepare yourself, Anne," Weiss informs Anne. "We're here."

With that, the door opened to the top room of the tower. It was open with a domed window to see the whole campus below, which is fitting for a Headmaster's office. In the middle of the room was a desk with some chairs. Goodwitch was standing next to the desk as the chair behind the desk spun around. Sitting in the chair was a well-dressed silver-haired man with a stylish cane by his side.

This man is Ozpin, the Current Headmaster of Beacon Academy. One of the most influential people in Vale and the Four Kingdoms. And now, he was the decider of Anne's fate.

"Anne Boonchoy, I presume?" He opens. "Glynda informed me about your predicament. But it would be better if I let you and Miss Rose explain your side of the story."

"Umm, ok, I guess." She said as she sat down on one of the chairs in front of his desk. Ruby sat in the one right next to her with WBY behind them. "Huh, maybe this would be so bad?" Anne thought to herself.

For almost an hour, the two girls explained everything that happened in the last two chapters.

"-and that when we got here," Anne concluded her side of the story.

"Hmmm, I see. And you were never aware that you were trespassing? He asked Anne.

"No! I just woke up in the woods and was forced to fight for my life against some giant bone wolf."

"A Beowolf." Ruby quietly explained what that type of Grimm Anne first encountered.

"Soooo, I'm not going to jail, right?" Anne sheepishly asked.

"Miss Boonchoy, Please, Did you honestly think I would throw a young- Actually, how old are you?" He asked Anne.

"Well, I turned Thirteen a while ago," Anne explained.

This shocked everyone in the room, and they reacted to this new info differently.

"YOUR THIRTEEN!" Ruby and her team shouted in unison.

"Yess," Anne confirmed.

"BY GODS, SHE'S YOUNGER THAN MISS ROSE!" Glynda thought to herself. "AND SHE HELPED TEAM RWBY TAKE DOWN A URSA MAJOR!"

"Well then, This is certainly a development," Oz commented.

"Yeah, That's not a problem, right?" She asked the headmaster.

"Certainly not," He assured the young girl. "But maybe there is something we can do."

"Ok?"

"Until we can better understand your situation, I think it would be best to let you stay here at Beacon- as a guest."

"Eh?"

"Ozpin, you can't be," Glynda tried to argue, but Oz cut her off.

"And since you are well acquainted with Miss Rose and her team. We could have them act as your guides at Beacon."

"Professor, this is-," Weiss tried to be Weiss but was stopped by her team.

"A great opportunity," Blake replied. "We'd be glad to help Anne."

"No probs, Professor." Yang gave a double thumbs up. "Can do."

"Yeah!" Beamed Ruby. "That's a Team RWBY Guarantee."

"I'm sure it is, Miss Rose." Oz then looked over at his clock. "It's getting late now. You girls should return to your dorm.

"Will do, Professor," Ruby promises. The Team and Anne leave the office and go down the elevator.

Once the girls were gone, Glynda and Ozpin were left alone to discuss current events.

"Ozpin, Do you think it is a good idea to let this young girl stay at the academy? Especially one who is younger than our youngest student." She asked.

"Well, Glynda, Miss Boonchoy is still a child and one who has no family or anyone to help her." He says to assure his deputy he's aware of what he's doing.

"I understand, But so many things have happened these last several weeks. Torchwick and his men have been amassing large amounts of Dust. Atlas Academy had a breach in security when a training mission somehow was completed thanks to the help of a stowaway, according to James. Strangest of all, Deaths and violence caused by the White Fang have been suddenly dropping." Glynda states.

"And now, this mysterious young girl had shown up at our doorsteps and helped our students take down an Ursa Major!"

"I agree it has been quite eventful the last month. And all before the Vytal Festival." Oz added.

"I'll tell you this if Miss Boonchoy worries this much. Then you are free to keep tabs on her anytime if you desire to." He offered it to Glynda.

"Very well then." She said, accepting the offer.

At the bottom of the tower, Team RWBY leads Anne to their dorm. While they do this, the group is unaware that someone's watching them.

From the bushes, two people watch the group. "Well, this is a waste of time!" Groaned a gray-haired boy with matching gray eyes.

"Hey Em, why are we doing this again?" He asked his fellow spy, a dark-skinned girl with mint green hair and red eyes.

"Well, Merc, Cinder wants us to check out this apparent hermit. In case she's a threat." Emerald explained to Mercury.

"And we got nothing except she seems to be a regular girl. Because all we've been doing was spying on her from a bush."

He deadpans, then sighs. "Let's just go."

Emerald rolled her eyes and followed him to their room

-x-

Anne was now sitting on the first bed she's felt in weeks.

"Well, Anne, you can use this room for a bit," Yang said to her.

"Until another team needs it for the Vytal Festival," Blake added.

"Then you can bunk with us," Ruby said, excited about the idea of having another roommate.

"Alright, we have to go now," Weiss said, dragging Ruby out the door.

"Night Anne." Ruby as she went out the door.

"See ya in the morning," Yang replied.

Ruby and her team then left the room, leaving Anne alone. Once she was sure she was alone, Anne reached into her backpack and pulled out the music box. The thing that brought her to Remnant in the first place.

"Come on, Come on." She said while praying to every deity she could think of, real or fictional.

Anne opened the box expecting to be consumed by a bright light, but nothing. She then opened and closed it three times. Then, slumping over and sighed.

"Looks like I'm gonna be here for a while."

Author's note: That's a rap, Chapter 3. Let me know what you think, and as always. Constructive criticism is allowed. Trolling is not.

Next Chapter: New Girl on Campus

Just a note, I'll be doing something similar to what Team Gophers is doing in their Fanfic "The Wartwood Girls," where they give development for the side characters. I'll be doing that for Both RWBY and Amphibia characters When we get to Amphibia.

Also, check out that Fic, it's really good, and it's got a TV Tropes page. So props on Gopher, keep up the good work.

And on the note of Rwby, I will kind of follow some things from Dreams Do Come True fanfic, like some of the events and maybe the ships. Well, the ones I see that worked Pre-V3. So yeah, get ready for that. Cause we all know how much of a shipper Anne is.

So, until next time. AutoHunter Rolling out of the hunt.
