Cassidy's POV:
"FRITZ!" my words were like thunder against the storm. The rotten animatronic grabbed onto the now petrified Fritz. It picked him up in a jerking motion and it omitted a sound that sounded like a distorted laugh.
I acted on instinct and rushed at him. I knew that there was no way I could fight it, the animatronic looked as if it could beat a full-grown adult. An 18-year-old would have no chance against it.
The animatronic merely just pushed me to the ground effortlessly, as if I was just a big joke to it. Fritz was now squirming around in its arms trying his best to get out of its grip. But the animatronic was not amused by this, the animatronic then without warning headbutted Fritz knocking him out.
"FRITZ! LET GO OF HIM YOU MONSTER!" I screamed with all of my might. I then started to stand up again but the animatronic just stumped on my leg which sent a shooting pain up it.
"Come find me! I will be where we left things off!" the rotting form of the animatronic stumbled off. I tried to get up to follow it but when I did the pain in my leg intensified.
What did he mean by-
NO
NOT THERE!
The place he wanted me to go to was Freddy Fazbear's Pizza!
Susie POV:
Where could they be?
Everyone has made it to the library except for Fritz and Cass. Could Cass's parents have said no and kept her at home? Could Fritz dad have kept Fritz home in fear of losing the only thing he has left?
"What could have happened to her?" Gabrial says while looking at the clock. She is 40 minutes late. If she doesn't come, they would either have to give up and head home or check the library archives themselves.
"I bet their parents didn't let them come. I barely was able to get out of my house, I was only able to convince my mom to let me come here because we are all together. But she still had the condition that she had to drive me here."
It was true we all had a hard time getting here. It took Gabrial 30 minutes to convince his parents to let him come, they also agreed to do it as long as they drove him here. I was only able to get here because I was able to convince my sister to cover for me by asking her to tell our parents that I was sick and that she would take care of me for the night. It hurt to lie to my parents but I knew what the stakes were.
"Are we sure nothing could have happened to them?" I say in an uneasy voice. I didn't have a good feeling about this. Something felt off. Sure, it was more likely that they couldn't convince their parents to let them come here, but something is going on and I just can't shake the feeling that something happened to them.
Before Jeremy are Gabrial could answer I glanced at the door and the sight I saw shocked me. There was Cassidy, her clothes looked dirty, and she was limping. What happened?!
I rushed to the library door, and I threw it open. I felt the sudden rush of the raging winds as I rushed to Cassidys side.
"Cass! What happened!"
"He took him!" Cassidy says with what little breath she had in her. She must be exhausted from limping here. Whatever happened has left her in rough shape.
"Cass, calm down and relax. Who took him?" Cass needed to calm down before she collapses from exhaustion
"Fritz, he has Fritz!"
Something happened to Fritz?! Worry shot through me as the image of Fritz, one of my childhood friends came into my mind. What could have happened to them that left Fritz gone and Cass like this.
"It was him! He's back! Fritz was with me when we were heading here. He came and he attacked us, and he took Fritz!"
All of us were shocked by what Cassidy said. Cass was right, he is back. What are we going to do now?
"He said to find him in the place where my birthday party happened! He's got to be at Freddy!"
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the place where everything in our lives changed.
"The library could have something on Freddys! But first we have to call the police!"
We quickly rush back into the library, and I enter a phone booth. I then dial 911. But I hear nothing on the phone.
"This can't be happening! The phone lines must be down!"
What are we going to do now? We have to go rescue Fritz, but could we do it on our own? We could walk to the police station, but it is on the other side of town plus the storm could close off the roads then we would never rescue Fritz!
"We can check the archives. I'm sure they have something on Freddys!" We then rush into the archive section while avoiding the librarian. If she see's Cassidy like this she will find out something is wrong, and she will keep us here and we would never get to Fritz.
We then dig through the archives and search for anything that could be of use. Eventually we find an article about Freddys.
On the article it says "Freddys Fazbears Pizza shutting down due to lack of costumers after an attempted murder."
"It says here that Freddys was closed. That means that the building is probably abandoned or destroyed."
We continue looking at the article and it says how Fredbear Entertainment decided against destroying or selling the building. The company basically left it to rot with the animatronics still inside. If the building is abandoned, then it would be easy for William to go there without attracting suspicion.
"I bet William is using it as a hiding place. He probably has been there all this time. But why would he not come back earlier?" Jeremy says looking puzzled.
We then continued to search the archives and we continued to discover more disturbing facts. It says that Freddys was once called Fredbears. Apparently, a young kid got his head bitten into by one of the animatronics on his birthday and later died in the hospital. We also found an article saying that the co-owner of the franchise daughter got murdered outside of one of the locations. It later describes how the co-owner later disappeared from public view.
"How could something from are childhood hold so many dark secrets!" Gabrial shouts in shock.
It was hard to believe that Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a magical place for kids and grownups alike could hold such darkness. It was almost too much to bear.
This entire time Cass has been silent, she looked as if she was in deep thought. Finally, she looked up and she spoke in a determined and blank voice.
"We have to go there"
We were all shocked and silent. Even the thought about returning to the place that brought us so much grief was unbelievable. Jeremy was the one to speak first.
"Cass. I'm sorry but I don't know if we are strong enough to do this."
Cass looked at us with pleading eyes.
"We have to do this. Fritz and all of us have been friends for so long. We can't abandon each other. We always have each other's backs; nothing should change now."
My mind drifts back to when we were kids, the memories of us playing on the playground, of helping each other up as we fell. At that moment we all knew in our hearts what we had to do.
"I'm in!" Everybody's eyes are now on me.
"Fritz has always been there for us. I remember when we were in kindergarten, I didn't have anyone to play with, but you and Fritz were the first to play with me. Then we meet Gabrail and Jeremy. We have too much history to just forget about him and pretend like none of this happened."
"Thanks Susie" Cassidy has a warm smile on her face when she says this. I can tell how much she appreciates this.
"I'm in. Fritz always cheered me up with his pirate jokes when I felt down. I won't leave him with that monster." Gabrial says with his head up high.
Everybody's eyes were on Jeremy, waiting to see what he would do.
"We won't blame you if you don't come. It is scarry going back there. But we hope we have your support; it would really mean a lot." Cass says in a hopeful voice.
"What can I say, I'm in. What was I saying of course I'm coming? Fritz has always been there for us. Now it is time for us to be there for him."
We all put our hands in the middle.
"Alright, let's do this."
We then put our hand up into the air and we left the library.
Fritz POV:
I slowly feel myself waking up. Where am I? The last thing I remembered was the feel of rotten metal grabbing me and then pain.
I slowly tried to get up, but my body ached. What did that thing do to me?
The ground feels damp and dirty. It feels as if I was in an abandoned building.
I then hear footsteps. And they are coming straight for me.
"Hello! Who's there!"
They don't answer which makes me more worried. For some reason I felt terror. Terror I hadn't experienced since THEN.
"Please answer me! Don't come any closer!"
But it didn't listen, it just kept coming until it felt like it was right in front of my face.
"Hey Fritz! Where did we leave off back then?!"
My screams could be heard across the building.
Author's Note:
