Protag's POV

The room was disturbingly quiet now, even more than it had already been before. The fan just wasn't enough to bring down the ominous atmosphere of the office. None of us had yet to speak a single word since that moment, and at this point, I was wondering if anyone was going to speak up before the night was over. Natsuki and Monika had taken over the door watch, while Yuri tried her best to help Sayori and Hat Kid however she could, although there wasn't a whole lot she could do given the fact we were all still stuck in this dank, dusty room. Although I was definitely worried about them and what was going to happen, I also knew that I wasn't going be any help just worrying, so I tried to keep my attention away from them and towards the camera feed, which was baffling me at the moment considering the fact that the none of the robots still had yet to move! It was honestly a struggle just to comprehend that fact, since the whole idea behind this game was these robots were trying to kill us, but it was true, they were still standing there, like nothing was supposed to happen! Sure, a part of me was definitely glad we wouldn't have to deal with them tonight, but the rest of me was so confused. What the hell was going on? Why weren't they moving? I looked down at the bottom left corner of the screen. 70% power remaining. I would never have this much on a regular playthrough of the game. I then set the tablet down and turned my gaze towards the red electronic clock on the desk. 5:50AM. Oh my god, it's almost 6 already?! I mean, great, but I know none of this really doesn't make any sense. I turned around to check on the others, wondering how they were doing with everything that had happened. Monika and Natsuki were turned away from the office, trying their hardest to contain their uneasiness with their two friends collapsed in the middle of the room, who thankfully had finally stopped holding their heads and groaning in pain, and were now just resting on the ground. Yuri bent down to her knees and gently pressed her fingers against Sayori's wrist and, after a short moment, did the same with Hat Kid. She let out a long sigh of relief before getting back up and turning to face us.

"Their heart rates have finally gone back down. It looks like whatever happened to them might have worn off by now." She explained.

"Thank goodness!" Said Monika, pressing her hand to her chest and breathing out heavily, relieving herself of her built up tension.

"Oh thank god, I was worried sick!" Natsuki stated out loud. A sigh of relief also left my voice. I was just glad they were alright. The two of them bent down where two were lying down to get a closer look at them.

"Hang on, are they… sleeping?" Natsuki questioned.

"Looks like it." Monika chucked. "She always seemed like she could sleep through just about anything."

"I guess." An unsure Natsuki replied. "I just hope they're alright…"

Monika's mood fell. "Yea…" She looked back over at her pink haired club member. " It's probably best that we let them rest for now. We can ask them what happened when they wake up again."

Yuri thought for a moment, before looking over at the clock on the desk. "I'm afraid to say that they might not get much time to sleep. Looks like it's coming up to the end of our shift."

"Huh?" Questioned Natsuki. "We still have plenty of… Oh my god, it's almost six already!" Natsuki shouted without thinking, jumping back up and running over to check the clock, quickly snatching it off the desk to get a closer look. Sounded like she was also shocked about just how much time had passed since we came back with Sayori and Hat Kid.

"Really!" Monika stated, sharing Natsuki's surprise, getting up and taking a look at the clock herself. "Wow, that's great! I guess we're going to make it through this after all!"

"Speaking of which, have the animatronics moved at all?" Yuri asked me.

"No, that's the strangest thing. They haven't! It doesn't make any sense..." I told them, everyone turning to me with confused expressions.

"But why?" Monika asked. "Isn't that a good thing?"

"I mean, sure." I replied. "But they were supposed to start moving hours ago, so I have no idea why they haven't yet. I should be happy about this, but something just doesn't feel right."

"Well, whatever the case, I'm glad that's something we won't have to worry about." Yuri stated. I guess so, but I couldn't help but be bothered by this so much. What could be causing them to not move at all? Despite how close we were to being done tonight, I couldn't help but get a sinking feeling in my stomach like something bad was going to happen, but I just couldn't tell what. I'm just hoping we can get out of here without anything going wrong, but something definitely wasn't right here.

"...so, what's supposed to happen once the shift ends?" Natsuki asked after an awkward silence, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I… don't know actually." I answered, spinning back over to the cameras. "The game usually just cuts to the next day once it hits six and… I think the manager said something about opening up the building again after that, so I guess we just wait until... what the hell?..." Did I just see that right? I had to take a moment to make sure I was seeing things correctly, flipping the camera back and forth to make sure what I saw was still there, and yea, it still was. Something… or someone was in the building with us!

Monika came up to my side. "What's going on?" She asked, a hint of concern in her words. She glanced over to where I was facing and leaned in towards the monitor to get a closer look. "Who's that?" Yuri and Natsuki quickly joined her next to me, almost crowding me to an uncomfortable level.

"Did one of them move?" Yuri asked anxiously.

"No, but…" I started, unsure of what to say?"

"Who's that guy?" Natsuki questioned bluntly, but with a hint of confusion as well. The figure walked up towards the stage and stepped behind the three robots on stage, starting to tinker with the backs of the animatronics necks. They had a torn, dark red hood on, so I couldn't make out who it was. It almost looked like…

"Hang on, isn't that…" Yuri started her thought. She must have the same idea I did. Whoever this was, it was the same person we saw after we broke the timepiece in the neighbor's basement! So could they be doing here?! I had to find out, or at least figure out why we kept seeing them.

"Hang on a second." I muttered out loud, standing up from my seat, gently pushing through the group and running over to the left door, gripping the frame of the door and looking down the hall, too dark to give myself a solid view. I noticed Monika starting to follow me, so I turned around to stop her.

"Stay here." I told her, pointing towards the office floor to emphasize my point. She was taken aback by my statement, stepping away from me slightly with a dejected expression so I tried to quickly assure her.

"I'll be right back." I said as optimistically as I was able to at that moment, before taking off down the hall. Whoever this person was, if we kept seeing them like this, then they had to mean something. I just had to know what.

I ran out until I reached the edge of the tables in the dining area, a feeling of determination and anxiety flowed through me. I had no idea what to expect, but I couldn't wait to figure everything out now. The figure stepped away from the robots after finishing doing something with the back of Bonnie's neck, and moved around them and over to the edge of the stage, facing back around to the robots, as if to admire what they just did. Every part of me was screaming at me, yelling that this was a bad idea, but I pushed it all to the side the best I could. I had to know who this was, and I wasn't going to stop until I did.

"Hey!" I shouted, pointing my finger at them. "Who are you?! What are you doing?! How did you get in here?!" The figure simply chuckled to themself, shifting over to where I was, but not facing directly toward me. Their face was completely covered, so I couldn't get a good look at who it was, but they seemed human, at least in terms of stature. Strangely enough, every step they took sounded heavy, and followed by crunches, clanking and clinkling of what seemed like metal, despite the fact they were stepping across a wooden surface. What could that be all about?

"I would love to stay and answer all of your questions." They stated. "But I've got too many things to get done. Besides, I'd rather not be here to have to witness what is about to happen to you." What the heck did they mean by that? Not only was I caught off guard by that, but I was completely taken aback by their voice as well. It certainly didn't sound like any character I could recall, but at the same time, it sounded so… familiar, so just who could it belong to? I shook my head, I didn't have time to think about that right now!

"What are you talking about?" I snapped at them. The figure turned their body back around, but kept their head looking over their shoulder at me, shuffling and looked to be grabbing something from underneath their hood.

"You find out soon enough." They brought their hand up to their head, their cloak slipping off to reveal their hand encased in a dark red and silver armoured gauntlet, holding what looked to be a small thin grey handheld stick with a red button on the top. They were… wearing armor? That would explain the sound of their footsteps, but then why on earth would they need the cloak for? Damn it, all I was getting was more questions, and I still had no idea who this was!

"In the meantime however, I think I'll let my friends do the talking." They said confidently before pressing the button with the thumb of their hand. Nothing happened for a second, before suddenly out of nowhere, a extreme loud, bright jolt of what looked like red lightning surged through the robots on stage, causing them to perk up and shake uncontrollably, but only for a moment before they their upper halves collapsing and going limp, the energy disappearing as quickly as it came.

"W-what did you do?" I asked, completely taken aback by what just happened. Before I could say anything else, the figure suddenly became surrounded by a series of what looked to be bold light blue 2D pixelated 0's and 1's with dark blue outlines, that kept snapping in and out of existence in a matter of seconds. It took me a second to realize what was happening, but my eyes shot wide when I realized that whenever one of them vanished, a tiny part of them disappeared with it, before all of them began rapidly disappearing, the figure along with it.

"Hey, wait!" I shouted, running over to where they were. I swiped my hand to grab them, but by the time my grasp reached them, they were already gone, opening my hand to reveal I was holding nothing. I stared down at my empty hands for a moment. That figure, just who were they? What were they doing? What did they want with us? All these stupid questions, and my only source of answers vanishing in front of me without a trace. What was I going to do now? I guess I should go back and let the others know what just…

CRACK, CRACK! GIZZZZZZZZZZZRRRRTT!

"GAH!" I yelped, jumping back from the robots, who suddenly lit up again with the same red energy from earlier, only this time it was way more bright and there was way more of it this time. The robots also begin shaking again like crazy like before as well, only this time is way more violent than the first time this happened. All I could do was stare, my gaze jumping between each of the robots as they found themselves going completely out of control as the lightning surged through them, the loud crackling sounds filling the room and stinging in my ears. I felt my breathing getting heavier, and my arms and legs felt stiff, my heart went into overdrive, and my eyes were getting dry from how long I kept them open. I needed to get out of here, now!

I immediately spun back around and started hurrying back towards the hall, but just I as took off, I had to stop myself as I was greeted with Foxy's face and body falling down from his curtain, only barely supported by his legs, acting like a toll gate that cut me off from the left hallway, the same red lighting running through him like the others. Crap, what do I do now? I frantically began spinning around in place, looking for any way to get away from these robots, before my eyes quickly caught sight of the door that led backstage. Without thinking, I made a beeline towards the door, throwing it open and dashing inside, slamming the door shut the second I was inside, and gripping the handle with all of my might, ready to pull it shut the moment something tried to get in, as I desperately tried to calm myself down and comprehend what just happened. In hindsight, I realised I could have made it back to the office through the other hallway, but I wasn't about to risk going back out there with the robots acting the way they were. Who knows if I would have made it or not. I certainly wasn't willing to find out.

Monika's POV

"So what are we supposed to do now?" Natsuki asked frantically.

"I don't know! Protag was supposed to be the one who knew about all this!" I responded in a wild panic.

"They would have said something about this to us. Maybe this isn't supposed to happen?" Yuri stated, struggling to remain calm, but losing to her own anxiety.

"No shit!" Natsuki blurted out. "Either Protag and that guy on the phone would have told us if the robots were supposed to go all crazy like this!"

"Well, They said they were going to be back any second now! Let's just wait for them." I told them, trying to ease everyone's worries.

"They better get back here quick! I'm not waiting to find out if those robots start coming after us!"

"I'm sure everything will be fine." Yuri reassured us. Let's just-" BOOM!

I could feel the room shake from the overwhelmingly loud noise from beyond the office, and then, just like that, I could swear the whole building went silent, save for the heavy breathing from me and my club members, and the feeling of my heart pounding in my ears. My hands were shaking, my ears were ringing, and the eyes were shut tight from how much I tensed up upon the earth-shaking crash from outside. It took a good moment before I forced myself to slowly release my tensed up body, raising myself straight up again before daring to take a peek through the cameras, only to be greeted by a pair of glowing red dots enveloped by the black void filling the rest of the robots soulless, metallic eyes. The sounds of creaking and snapping of metal echoed through the building as the animatronic bear slowly rose up from his crouching stance, a buzzing noise accompanicing it's head slowly rising upwards until it was staring into the cameras, it's piercing gaze beaming right through my own terrified expression.

Freddy Fazbear…wasn't on the stage anymore.

I could look on in horror as the mascot slowly stomped it's way towards the center of the dining hall, the air-compressing and banging of each lumbering step giving us the disturbing realization that this was actually happening, the night vision from the monitor revealing more of the robotic monster as it grew ever closer. I heard the gasps of shock from my club members, but I was too fearful to speak, like my own voice was getting sucked from my body. The bear simply stared at the camera for a moment, as if trying to understand what it was, before reeling forwards and throwing his head towards, delivering a ear-piercingly loud metallic screech.

SSSSHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHRRRRR!

It was unbearable, even as we slammed our hand onto our ears in an attempt to block it, it was still enough to make my head feel like it was about to explode. The scream when on for only a while, but that while felt like an eternity from the ringing in our ears and head persisting long after he finished, enough time for the bears two co-stars, Bonnie and Chica, to jump down off the stage and join him in the hall, each one shaking the room even more as they dropped down from their resting place, having also each been given their own matching of piercing red eyes. This… can't be happening, can it? What do we do? Protag would… Protag! They're still out there!

Without a second thought, I shot up from the office chair, sliding past the girls who were standing besides me, and ran over to the left door, looking out for any sign of the player.

"Where are you going, Monika?" Yuri called out.

"Are you crazy?!" Yelled Natsuki. In hindsight, I guess I was, because instead of Protag, what I saw was the terrifying image of a certain robotic fox charging down the hall, directly towards where I was standing. His eyes the same as the others, hid unhinged jaw snapping open and shut again and again as he ran, his sharp, hook hand up to his head, ready to bring down at any moment, and the sounds of his metallic feet hitting the ground, getting louder by the second as his figure grew ever closer. I froze up in shock, but thankfully, was barely able to snap myself out of it, throw myself back inside the room, and slam my fist against the red door button. I had to guess mere milliseconds before being torn up into pieces by the rampaging, killer pirate.

"Oh my god!" Yuri cried.

"Holy shit!" Natsuki shouted toward me, before our widened gazes all shot towards the other side of the room, the same banging sounds echoing from the other hallway, all of us gasping, knowing well what was on the way. Natsuki, after a brief moment of hesitation, sped over and threw her hand against the button, the other door closing just as Freddy was about to step inside. We… were now completely surrounded. Foxy and Bonnie to our left, Freddy and Chica to our right. Huddling together in the center of the room, as far away from the doors we could, we were only able to watch in horror as the robots screamed and roared from beyond the walls, and pressing themselves against the plexiglass windows next to the doors, their dark red glowing pupils staring us down, signifying their overgrowing bloodlust. It was a horrid sight, but one that only got worse when the painful sounds of slamming, scraping and pounding suddenly began blaring uncontrollably from outside, as robots continued screeching in rage. I could feel my entire body grow cold and trembling, turning towards the others to see them watching in fear, trying desperately to keep themselves as far away from the walls as possible. I…I…

I didn't know what to do anymore…

Protag's POV

Strangely enough, everything had gotten fairly quiet since that extremely painful screaming from just a moment ago. It was odd to say the least. The robots were definitely moving by now, surely one of them, at least Bonnie, should have found their way over here by now. Something wasn't right, I could tell that much. Of course, hiding in the backstage room of a children's pizzeria, praying four deadly robot animal mascots don't barge in and murder me certainly wasn't helping my case. Even with that said, my mind couldn't help but jump back to that cloaked figure. Whoever it was, they were messing with the robots. Maybe they were the reason why everything wasn't going the way it should? Were they the one that caused the robots to not function until now? What reason would they have to do that? I knew I shouldn't be focusing on this now, but… god! None of it's adding up and it's driving me crazy! I felt my hand start to ache, snapping me out of my train of thought for the time being. I had been holding the door shut the entire time, but nothing ever tried to get in. I wonder… should I look? I looked down at the handle of the door, my hand shaking against the cold metal, and slowly began to pull it down, only the faintest squeaks from the handle came as I did so. I thought about this for a moment. If something sees me, that's it. It's over, but…

As carefully as I could, I gently slid the door open, barely creaking it enough to get a look outside. Nothing, at least from what I could see. No death machines in sight. In fact, the only thing I could even make out besides the door itself was the light shining from down the hall. What I could tell though, were the loud banging and robot screeching coming from the other side of the building. Despite what all of my instincts were telling me, I slowly opened the door all the way before stepping out from the room, staying close to the ground and starting crawling around some of the tables to get a closer look at what was going on. There, from the end of the hall, stood Foxy and Bonnie, violently slamming, smashing and pushing the walls and the office doors. So they weren't coming for me after me all? But then who could the-

Oh shit, the girls!

This was bad, really bad. From what I remember from the original game, whenever Foxy hit the doors, it took away a little bit of the power, and when I last checked it, we had what, like sixty, seventy percent left? But with how much they were banging against the door now… even that might not be enough. Crap, what the hell do I do? I had to think of something, anything! I tried back through everything I knew about the game, but would that even mean anything since that hooded guy messed with them? I just couldn't think of anything that would get them away from the others, until suddenly my mind jumped back to the phone call we had earlier tonight.

"Just, uh, try to remember that you only have so much power to spare each night. Um, apparently in order to save on costs, the higher ups have the main power shut off backstage after hours, so you're only working with the backup generator for the night shift. Should have enough to get you by, just uh… try not to go overboard, alright?"

Of course, if there's a backup generator, then the main one has to be somewhere around here, right?! I crawled my way back to the backstage room I was in before, still trying to be careful not to make much noise. I wasn't about to chance them hearing me, even over the banging of the doors. Slipping inside and shutting the door behind me, I pulled my phone out from my pocket before switching on the flashlight, frantically swinging it around for any sign of a generator. No luck, of course this wasn't going to be easy, the camera from the original game never showed one, but it also only let me see so much of the room, so maybe…

I spun the light over to the opposite wall, and though it was hard to make out at first, I soon realized I might have just found my answer. A hidden door, barely visible as it blended into the wall! Perfect! A generator had to be behind there, it just had to, and I wasn't about to sit here and wonder any longer!

Monika's POV

My eyes kept flashing between the doors, the windows and my club members, who were shaken, scared and panicking. Natsuki was cowering behind us while Yuri was frantically swinging her head, hyperventilating, desperately looking for any means of stopping these monsters from tearing us apart, who were still continuing their relentless assault against the walls, the only things between us and them. As much as I hoped she could figure something we could do, I knew better. I knew there wasn't anything we could do at this point but wait and hold out for as long as we could, struggling to stay calm as the banging of the doors continued to emanate throughout the room.

"Huh? What's that noise?" I heard a familiar voice quietly speak out. The three of us immediately spun around to see the source, and noticed my vice president rubbing her eyes, looking like she had just woken up from a regular long nap, as if nothing had happened to her a couple hours ago. I also noticed Hat Kid too, was just waking up, before giving out a long, heavy yawn.

"Sayori!?" I spoke in surprise, but before I could say anything, I heard the sudden crashing of one of the robots throwing itself against the wall, screeching in rage as the window began to crack, it's blood red eyes locked on us.

"AAHH!" Sayori yelped in shock, jumping up off the ground and clutching my arm with her body, her expression widened with a mix of confusion and shock, her eyes snapping between each side of the room. Hat Kid also gasped in surprise, grabbing hold of Sayori's leg and hiding herself behind it.

"What's going on?!" Sayori cried. I turned to see her looking up to me, her eyes beginning to tear up. "What do we do?!" God, I hated seeing her like this. She was always supposed to be the one making everyone happier, and I was the one who always had a plan. But now, all I could say to her was...

"I… don't know…" Our eyes fell towards the ground, looking down at my own shaking hands. I… was the one who always had everything under control, who made sure everything worked out in the end, who tried to fix all of my mistakes, but now got everyone trapped in this house of death because of my own obsession with… That's it! I told myself I was never going to use this again, but for the sake of club members, I don't have a choice. Taking a deep breath and closing my eyes, I concentrated, focusing my mind into my hands, which were glowing once again with a shade of light blue, as I mentally searched through the millions of files this game contained. No matter what strange things I saw, it wasn't important right now. I just had to find the right ones, the keys to our survival…

My eyes shot open, and I felt a small smirk grow on my face. Got em! Now there's just one last thing I have to do. Placing two fingers of my free hand on my forehead, I focused.

I felt my arm fall down to my side, my eyes slowly opening up again, catching a glimpse of the monitor resting on the desk, in perfect position for me to see the amount of power remaining. It was dropping, and fast!

Protag's POV

BAM!

Oh, come on you stupid…

BAM!

Jesus, would you just…

BAM! THUD!

Fucking hell, that door would not open. How long was it shut for it to be that stuck against the wall!? My shoulder was killing after slamming against the door as hard as I did, not helping was when I finally managed to get the thing unhinged from the wall, it flew open so fast that I nearly went tumbling down the metal staircase that the door led to, only saved because I had been gripping the handle for leverage. Rubbing my aching shoulder, I used the handle and the door to pull myself back up from my near fall, and wasted no time running down the flight of stairs into the building basement. It was dark, nothing but a single dim light hanging from the ceiling. It almost looked abandoned, probably because the door was so hidden, leaving the place dusty and decrepit. No time to think about that however, I had to find a means of getting the power back up and running. The basement wasn't exactly the most spacious, but it was also completely empty save for a single… ah ha, a fuse box resting on the wall, perfect!

I quickly hurried over to the grey box and threw it open, only just barely able to see the inside of it thanks to the light. It looked old, and was covered in rust. Great, guess I'll just have to pray everything works. The inside of the box had a couple columns worth of black switches, all set to off. I searched for the one that connected to the office, but to my surprise, not a single one of them was labeled! Alright, then what I supposed to…

Ah, fuck it.

I started flipping all of them on, before gripping the handle of the lever that powered the box and pulled it down… I said pulled it down… I said- oh you've got to be kidding me, the lever was stuck too!?

I pulled on it hard enough to where I jerked myself backwards, almost falling over onto the floor, only staying on my feet thanks to the fact I was still holding on to the thing in the first place. Come on, I have to get this thing down now! Grabbing onto the lever with both hands, I started pulling as hard as I could, praying I would make it in time.

This… this is really happening, isn't it? I looked over at my club members one last time. Natsuki and Yuri were to my right, both looking over at the door. They were definitely tense and visibly nervous, but at the same time, they both seemed… relatively calm compared to the rest of us. It was perplexing in a strange way.

"So, this is how we're gonna die, huh?!" Natsuki stated, sighing in defeat. "Well, I guess this isn't the worst way we could go out." Huh, what could she mean by that? Was she… accepting this as our fate? I suppose there really wasn't anything else we could do at this point, I guess I was just surprised how upfront she was about it. At the same time though, Natsuki was always like that when it came to her opinion, but this just didn't seem like the situation for it though. Before I could ask her about it, she spoke up again.

"Hey Yuri?" The purple haired girl perked up suddenly and glanced over to Natsuki.

"Hmm?" Yuri spoke softly.

"Before we die," Natsuki started, sounding a little unsure of her words. "I just wanted to say your poems… weren't actually completely terrible. I was just jealous, that's all!" Yuri seemed a bit taken aback by this, and I was as well. Natsuki would normally never say something like this out in the open! Then again, I suppose this would be the time to finally reveal secrets, given we won't have much longer at this rate.

"Huh?" Yuri questioned, attempting to regain her composure from Natsuki's reveal. "I- I suppose I could say the same about yours as well."

"Really?" Natsuki asked abruptly, puzzled for a moment, before suddenly her tone changed to sound much more joyful. "Yes, I finally got you to admit it!" She declared.

"A-admit what?"

"I finally got you to admit you were wrong about my simple writing! Not everything has to be super complicated all the time, you know!" Natsuki flashed her a proud smirk.

"Oh?!" She chuckled nervously, clutching her hands on her chest. "I guess you can..." An awkward silence fell between them as Natsuki expressions suddenly grew disheartened, her gase falling towards the ground. Yuri quickly noticed the change in mood.

"Is there something else troubling you?" She asked concernedly.

"It's just, I was thinking…" She struggled to say, glancing up towards the ceiling. "When we get up there, wherever we end up after this, do you think that… we'll be able to see my mom?" Yuri gasped slightly, her gaze widened in surprise. She thought to herself for a short moment.

"Hmm… Well, we'll just have to find out together." She answered assuredly. Natsuki returned Yuri's surprise, then nodded towards her.

"Heh." She sounded satisfied, before the two grasped each other's hands in agreement. "You got it!" She declared, as just the arm of the rampaging robots outside smashed through the plexiglass window on the wall, pieces falling onto the ground and whatever remained attached to the frame being contorted by the arm of the robot twitching and whirling as it reached out towards us, banging against the wall. The two girls jumped at the noise, taking a step back towards the far end of the room. On my other side was Sayori, who was bent down on her knees, Hat Kid pulled in against her chest for a deep hug, tears running down her cheeks as she sniffed and sobbed, Hat Kid doing the same, her head seeping into Sayori's shoulder as she weeped.

"I'm sorry Hat Kid…" Sayori spoke through her tears. "I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise…" Oh my god, my heart sank as I watched them, before forcing myself to turn away, overwhelmed with my own emotions. I felt my hand clenching itself against my chest. They were scared. They were in pain. We promised we would help her get home, I promised everyone we were going to be okay. I promised everyone things were going to work out this time. This…

This was all my fault. I was the one who told us to come here, and now we're all going to die because of me. I could never get anything right after, couldn't I. The club, breaking the game, being with the player and now this? Protag, I guess we were never meant to be together after all…

Sayori… Yuri… Natsuki…

I'm sorry everyone…

I braced for the end.

I slowly opened my eyes, and eased the tension in my tightly clenched hands. Looking at both sides of the room, the lights were still on, the doors were still shut, the robots still had yet to break in and, thankfully, everyone in the office was still alive, yet unaware of this bizarre situation I found us in. Then suddenly we started hearing a few sets of loud, booming, clicking sounds that sounded similar to a theater light being turned on. I caught the sounds of gasps and 'huh's' from my club member, as they began to question what was going on. I turned over to the monitor again, just to see what was happening.

No way, it was… coming back? Even on the camera's themselves, which were still focused on the dining hall from when all of this chaos started, the room suddenly grew much brighter and colorful.

"What's happening now?" I heard Natsuki ask, a mix of confusion and concern in her voice.

"I… I'm not sure." Yuri responded. "Could someone have gotten the power turned back on?" I heard Sayori sniffing as she wiped her tears, slowly standing up to match the rest of us.

"Are… are we going to be okay?" She asked nervously.

"I… I think so." Yuri said to her. I thought about Yuri's question for a moment.

"There couldn't have been anyone else in the building." I thought to myself. "Not besides Protag and…" I froze in shock, my whole body suddenly jumping in realization.

"PROTAG!" I shouted out loud, before flipping myself back towards the front end of the room. "Protag's still out there!"

"What!" Everyone shouted, just before Bonnie tore away yet another piece of the plexiglass off it's frame, dropping it inside the room and reaching his mechanical grasp ever closer towards us. His head and arms were now fully inside the room as he tried to break his way inside, his eyes locked on us with a death stare, and his arms contorting in order to attempt to reach us. Chica soon followed suit, with both robots struggling to climb into the room, as they roared and screeched in fury, louder than it after was before. I also caught notice of the small sparks being shot out from under the doors from the animatronic's continuous assault. At this point, I wasn't even sure they were going to be enough to hold them back anymore.

"Oh, come on!" Natsuki snapped at them, more frustrated than worried at this point.

"Nonono, not when we're this close!" Yuri cried.

Even with all of this, we still weren't safe... Was there truly nothing we could do?

Protag's POV

I found myself bent over still firmly grasping the now flipped lever, trying to catch my breath after finally getting the switch to cooperate with me. I… I did it. The girls should be safe now, at least until the clock finally turns over. In any case, I should probably head back, just to make sure it works. Pushing myself away from the wall and back up again, I took off up the stairs and brought open the door, which thankfully wasn't so tight against the wall since I never bothered to fully shut it again. The backstage was now lit up, allowing me to discover the room filled with spare animatronic heads, exoskeletons and other things that weren't important right now. I quickly made my way to the backstage door, pressed my ear against it and listened. The banging of the office was still there, muffled from where I was, but still clear enough I could make it out. Carefully sliding the door wide enough so I slipped out, I stayed low to the ground and moved back over to the dining area, which thankfully I discovered that all of it's lights were on, my struggles with the fuse box working out after all. I peeked around one of the chairs to get a better look down the hall, finding the robots still outside the office, furious pounding and banging on the doors, just like they were earlier, showing no sign of slowing down. What I didn't expect to see was the image of Bonnie attempting to crawl through the office window, his head and upper body already inside, and his feet slipping off the wall in an attempt to gain any sort of leverage. Shit, you've got to be kidding me!

"This was bad, really bad." I thought to myself. "Even with the power turned on, they're still in trouble. If they figure out how to get in, then…" At this point, I wasn't even sure if they were going to stop once the clock hit six. I knew I couldn't just sit here and do nothing. I started zipping my head around the room. There had to be some way to draw their attention, get them away from the halls so everyone could get out. My eyes caught a glimpse of Freddy's microphone, resting on the ground where he stood before, then it hit me. The robots can be lured by sound, right? I realize though, that if I did that, then they would come after me…

And I wasn't sure if I could make it out in time.

Monika's POV

This was it, wasn't it? Even after everything that happened. It was all going to be for nothing… It was a painful sight, witnessing your instrument of death mere inches away from you, your only things stopping them from taking your life on the verge of collapse, and no way out. The only thing we could do was wait for it to end… at least, that's what I thought, until I heard what sounded like the loud, booming hum of a speaker.

"HEY FRED FUCKS!" I suddenly heard Protag's shout echo throughout the room, sounding like they were speaking into a microphone.

"Is that…?" Yuri spoke.

"Protag!" I blurted out.

"YEAH! I'M TALKING TO YOU, YOU GIANT BROWN PIECE OF SHIT!" Their voice rang out once again. As it did, the robot's assault on the doors slowed and quieted down, and the two halfway through our windows both stopped their efforts to turn their heads over towards the source of the voice.

"THAT'S RIGHT! I KNOW YOU HEARD ME! COME ON, OVER HERE ASSHOLE!" The thundering bangs of the animatronic footsteps could be heard as the robot's started walking away from us, back down towards the other side of the building. Bonnie and Chica both pulled themselves, a loud boom rang out as they slipped back out into the halls and landed on their feet, before they turned and followed the others. What on earth was Protag doing? Wasting no time once the robots had left, I quickly ran over to the monitor and flipped it to the dining hall camera. Sure enough, there they were.

"COME ON! OVER HERE! COME GET ME! WHAT'S THE MATTER, STUPIDHEAD! I'M RIGHT HERE! FRESH MEAT, HOT OFF THE PRESSES!" They continued shouting at the robots as they slowly cornered them, who was stepping backwards towards the backstage door. They suddenly shot their gaze over to the camera and mouthed something towards us while gesturing over towards the other side of the room before immediately going right back to yelling at the robots again.

"They're telling us to run." Yuri realized.

"What the hell are they doing?" Natsuki asked, baffled "Are they trying to get themselves killed?" An existential sense of dread washed over me the moment I understood Protag's plan.

"I… I think so." I said hesitantly. Natsuki gasped, realizing what was happening. I didn't want to believe it, but I couldn't deny it. Protag… this was all my fault.

"What are we going to do?" Sayori asked anxiously. "We can't just leave them here, right?" The hand I was resting on the desk clenched up as a new found feeling of rage and determination started flowing through my body. No one was going to die, because of me. Not again.

"You're right." I answered quietly to myself, turning over to the other side of the room "We're not going to leave them behind…" I quickly ran over towards the right door, slamming my fist on the button that shot it open.

"Monika, where are you going?" Yuri called out. I gripped the frame of the door with my right hand and spun myself around towards my clubmates, who were all standing close and faced towards me, sharing expressions of nervousness and unease.

"We made a promise, remember?" I told them with a breath of conviction, raising my fist up to show my resolve. "And that's exactly what we're going to do!" The group looked shocked for a moment, but Yuri quickly realized what I meant, nodding her head.

"O-of course!" She said, still unsure, but willing, as the two of us raced down the hall and into the dining area.

"Wait, hang on! Have you two gone crazy?!" Natsuki yelled at us as she followed close behind. We made our way over towards the tables, as we saw the scene taking place before our eyes. Protag continued their relentless shouts, slowly leading the deadly machines towards the backstage. It was hard to make them out from where we were, even with the light on, as the robots began to overshadow them. I noticed they quickly threw the backstage door shut, gripping the handle with both arms as they attempted to shut it in front of the robots, but Freddy caught it with his own grip, throwing the door back open, yanking it out of Protag's grasp. The monstrous machines took up the entirety of the door frame as he started making his way inside. I could slowly feel my begin to panic, my breath starting to collapse in on itself, as I frantically shot my gaze over to the others, dread building on their expressions as they watched. Yuri and Natsuki stood by my side while Sayori was peeking out from the edge of the hall, Hat Kid in her arms, huddled up against her chest, shaking in fear.

"What are we going to do?" I asked, panicking. I thought I knew what I was doing, but now being here, I suddenly realized I might have any means of stopping this.

"We need to find some way of getting their attention." Yuri said to me. "I wonder if we could-." But before she could finish her sentence, Natsuki suddenly jumped ahead of us, picking up one of the metal folding chairs next to the tables and drawing it back behind her.

"Hey, over here trash cans!" She shouted, as she hurled the chair across the room over to where the robots were gathering, watching as it smashed into Foxy's back and landed the ground next to them, knocking him off balance, but he maintained his footing as his head shot over to where we were standing and snarled, the other robots soon doing the same. I'll admit, I probably would have been a bit flabbergasted that Natsuki just did that, but we were too busy gasping at the robots sudden shift in attention. They simply stared at us as the piercing red beams of their gaze slowly grew to fill their entire eyes, bent over looking ready to charge any second, save for Freddy, who stood straight up, gasing directly at me with clenched fists, seemingly untroubled by our interruption. The emptiness of his expression sent chills down my spine, but I forced myself to maintain my composure, returning his gaze with my own fierce one. The room grew quiet, and the air grew cold as he stared, before simply raising his arm to point at us, his three co-stars roared and screamed at us before they suddenly started charging towards where we were, before turning back over to where Protag was. Bonnie ran around the left side of the tables, while Chica ran past the right. Foxy dashing through the middle of the room before he stopped halfway, bending down slightly before performing a leaping lunge at us, his jaws and arms out searching as he screeched.

Natsuki's POV

"LOOK OUT!" I heard Monika shout, before I felt her grab my arm and pull me back behind the tables to our right, snapping me out of my "deer in the headlight" trance just before Foxy reached us, smashing onto the ground chest first where we were standing before with a loud crash, sliding a bit along the floor before his nose struck the wall, his legs shooting up from the impact before falling back down. Christ, that was way too close! I nearly fell over from the sudden tug, but I was caught by something before I fell, my head falling on something soft. I looked up to find myself in Monika's arms.

"Are you all right?" She spoke with a concerned tone, pulling me up by the underside of my shoulders and helping me back on my feet.

"Yeah, I think so…" I said to her. Before we could say anything else though, we suddenly heard the loud metallic screeching of Chica coming right towards us with her arms outstretched above our heads.

Yuri's POV

I jumped back as well to avoid the fox's lunge, although I must have shifted my own weight back too much when I did, and I ended up tripping sideways onto the ground, my head facing in between the tables and the wall that separated the two hallways, a rampaging rabbit animatronic barreling it's way down the path, and I laid right in the middle of its trajectory. My eyes shot open as it closed in, raising it's metallic foot above me, ready to thrust it down upon my head. I quickly rolled over to the side as it slammed it's foot into the ground. Finding myself now in front of the tables and in between two of the deadly machines, I hurried to crawl underneath the table, quickly pulling my legs inside just as Bonnie again attempted to slam it's foot down on them, screaming in anger as it discovered only the cold, tiled floor beneath where it stood.

Natsuki's POV

"Split up!" Monika told me as we jumped back from each other, narrowing getting out of the way of Chica's grab. I dashed around to the other side of the tables, while Monika hopped on the stage.

"Go get Protag!" I called out to her. "I'll keep them busy!"

"But what about-!"

"Just Go!"

She hesitated for a moment, an unsure expression on her face, then nodded to me before running over to the other side of the room where Protag was. Chica growled at me from the other side of the tables, staring me down with bloodthirsty eyes, before her head suddenly perked up slightly and she turned around to go after Monika.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going!" I shouted at the robot, but she didn't listen, instead heading down the same way she came after us, only now going after where Monika was heading. I was confused for a moment, but my eyes snapped open the moment I heard the metal clanking coming from right behind. I spun myself around only to be greeted with a now upright Foxy standing right in the front of me, jaw wide open and hook hand raised above him.

"Woah!" I yelped in surprise, diving to my right just as Foxy swung his arm at me, barely escaping being skewered by his claw. I landed hard on my stomach, and groaned in pain as I clutched my chest, but I knew I couldn't worry about that now, so I forced myself to roll around and pull myself back up to my feet just as Foxy turned around to face me again, making these weird short screeches toward me as he shifted his arms toward, looking ready to charge again. Everytime he took a step towards me, I instinctively took one back. I was so pissed off with this stupid things, all I wanted to do to right now was take one of these chairs and smash it until it was nothing but a pile of scrap, something, anything, I didn't know! But, for some reason or another, just… couldn't, I wasn't sure why. I was so done with these things trying to kill us over and over again, but at the same time, it felt like something inside of me was stopping me from going through with it. Something deep, something personal. Something like…

The morning we spent here played through my head again. I remember the fun we had, Sayori tricking me into making a fool of myself, and I ended up enjoying it, along with the conversations I had with the other robots. These things may be just machines, but… I couldn't help but think…

"If I do this… then I'll lose my chance at a true childhood… forever."

Before I could do anything else however, I suddenly heard one of the plastic tables getting thrown across the room, smacking into Foxy's side, and his screech in response snapped me out of my train of thought. I shot my attention over to where the noise came from, only to see Yuri laying on the ground on her back, looking scared out of her mind as the purple rabbit stood over her, it's arm reaching down towards where she was.

"YURI!" I shouted to her. Quickly grabbing one of the folding chairs sitting next to me, I folded it back up and gave it a good swing at Foxy, striking the side of his head and causing him to reel back a bit. Taking advantage of the moment, I quickly dashed around his side while he was dazed and towards where Yuri was, barely avoiding his hand swipe at me, but then I suddenly felt something sharp slash down my back.

"Gah!" I cried in pain, the stinging of my back causing me to fall down to my knees, my eyes shut themselves and my hand tightened in an attempt to fight through it, but it burned, and I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Yuri still needed me, so I pushed off the ground back onto my feet and hurried over once again to where she was, Bonnie in the middle of choking her!

Yuri's POV

I found myself feeling stuck to the ground where I laid, only being able to look up in horror at the terrifying image of the monstrous machine looming over me and it's arms slowly reaching down towards my defenseless being. My arms and legs felt heavy, and any attempt to force them to move proved fruitless, almost as if I was glued to the floor. The robot's right hand clasped itself against the side of my face, while the other shot down and gripped tightly around my neck, sucking the air out of my lungs. I tried my hardest to push the machine's arm off of me, but they wouldn't budge. I felt myself growing weaker by the second, my vision started to fade, as the rabbit screeched and roared in rage, but before my life was taken by the robot, I suddenly the loud clang of something striking the machine's head, sending it reeling back and releasing it's grip from me, the life being restored to my body as I began to recover my breath. Natsuki was there, holding one of the chairs that laid around the room. She quickly turned around to where I was.

"Are you ok?" She asked me worryingly, reaching her hand out to me. Without hesitating, I quickly took her hand as she helped me back up to my feet, only to find ourselves now surrounded by both Bonnie and Foxy, both of which were ready to charge at us at any moment as the sounds of their metallic groan and snarls filled the room. Following Natsuki's example, I armed myself with a folded chair of my own, and we stood back to back as our gazes rapidly swapped between the two machines, waiting to see which of us would strike first.

"Any ideas?" Natsuki said to me, attempting to maintain a sense of confidence in her voice. I looked over to see Protag dashing out of the backstage room, a furious animatronic bear following close behind them. Monika was nearby as well, struggling to find the means to get around the bird robot, blocking them from leaving the stage.

"We need to buy Monika time to get Protag." I replied to Natsuki's query. "Focus on their joints. That should be the least reinforced part of their bodies."

"Got it!" Natsuki agreed, turning her attention back towards the robot fox. I focused my gaze on the machine in front of me, tightening my grip on the chair in my hands and keeping it close to my chest, but pointed at the robots, waiting for them to make the first move.

Monika's POV

I found myself trapped in a corner, the Chica animatronic cutting me off from jumping off the stage, now forced to watch as Protag ducked and dodged around Freddy's swipes and punches, most which barely passing by their head and the robot's screeches as it missed its target were nonstop and brutal to the ears. Not only that, but now I was stuck only being able to watch Yuri and Natsuki struggling to hold off the other two robots, the blows they dealt looked to nudge the robots around a bit, as they were able to knock back the arms whenever the robots reaches out for them, but otherwise didn't seem of effect their movement in the slightest. I knew running around to the other side of the stage would just cause me to get cut off again, and trying to jump over the robot in front of me to where my legs could be easily grabbed wasn't exactly the smartest idea either. I was out of options and running out of time, that is until the animatronic decided to start climbing up onto the stage, which was roughly up to where it's shins would be, so it had some trouble stepping up onto the platform to reach where I was. This was my chance! I took the opportunity to dash around the robot, who attempted to swipe at me as I leaped past them, and dropped down near the tables closest to the stage, grabbing one of the chairs for good measure. The animatronic retracted its foot off the stage, which scraped across the edge before slamming onto the ground with a loud bang, and turned itself over to where I now stood. I readied myself for it to charge at me, planning on giving it the runaround so I could hurry over to where Protag was, who was struggling to keep avoiding Freddy's offensive. Before anything could happen however, I suddenly heard a gasp of surprise from Yuri, whose chair was knocked from her hand by the attacking Bonnie before being struck with a metallic backhand, knocking her down onto the floor, a yelp of pain coming from my club member.

"YURI!" Both me and Natsuki cried out to her. Natsuki attempted to swing her chair overhead at the fox, but it caught her arm before it could strike him, the robots twisting and crushing her arm in it's hand, Natsuki giving out an ear-piercing scream of anguish as he did, dropping her chair with a loud clang as Foxy then raised his hook hand to bring down on her. Before it could reach her, Natsuki shot her free arm up and caught his arm mid swing, although she was only able to hold it back for a moment before the hook drove itself deep into her left shoulder. She screamed in agony, struggling to pull herself free with only her single arm, before Foxy reeled back slightly and tossed her away, small tears of her shoulder being torn off as the Fox yanked his hook free. She landed hard on her chest as she groaned in pain, clutching her wound as blood leaked from her shoulder and back.

"NATSUKI!" I shouted, just before I found myself face to face with a rampaging Chica, who stormed up to me with a shriek and lashed out with a sudden blow to my chest. The pain was sharp and I could feel the cracking of my ribcage, but before the air could even finish escaping my lungs, my throat was suddenly grabbed by the robot's other hand, and I could feel my feet leaving the ground as I was slowly raised into the air. I tried desperately to unhinge the robot's iron grip, but to no avail. The robot's other hand instead went for my legs, and upon grasping them, lifted both of her arms above her head before hurling me across the room. I threw my arms in front of me as I felt myself flying through the air, but crashing down hard onto the table closest to the backstage door, a striking pain being shot into my wrist that shocked throughout the rest of my body. I yelped and groaned in anguish as I landed, feeling like my arms where getting shoved back into my body, and my face and chest scraping against the roughness of the table as the legs gave out from under me, the side of the table in front of me dropping to the floor as I bounced off the table and spun around in midair, my back and arm smashing against the chair in the way of my crash course. The chair fell over from the impact, and dropped me onto the floor, rolling off and onto the cold floor. My whole body was stinging and sore from what just happened, and I had to make a grueling effort to even lift my head up to see where I landed, only to find myself right beside Protag, who turned around to see me, a horrified expression growing on their face.

"Monika!" They called out, but that one moment of distracted worry was all Freedy needed to slam his open hand directly into Protag's face, his palm covering up their face in its entirety. I could only watch in horror as Freddy pressed his metallic fingers into the sides and top of Protag's head, their cries being muffled by the robot's hand, before getting dragged across the floor and Freddy smashing the back of their head directly into the nearby wall. Even with the hand in the way, I could still hear the pain in their voice as Freddy struck them hard in the chest, before releasing them from the wall. Protag gasped, choking and coughing, only to be grabbed right after by both of the robot's arms in a bear hug and began to squeeze him tight. I gasped in fear, as the crushing of Protag's arm was deafened by their groans of pain as they struggled against the metallic brute's death grip, and bit by bit, I forced myself back onto my feet. Grabbing the chair was hurled into, and rushing over to smash it directly into Freddy's back. The robot roared in response, dropping Protag and spinning around to face me. I quickly ducked under his overhead swing and dashed around his right side as he tried to grab me with his left hand, barely missing the back of my blazer. I caught sight of Protag, who was resting on their hands and knees, coughing up blood. They turned up to look at me.

"What are you all still doing here?" They asked, struggling to speak through their raspy breathing.

"Trying to make sure you don't get yourself killed." I told them, quickly helping them back onto their feet.

"I'm trying to make sure you don't get yourselves killed!" They shot back. "You guys need to get out of here now!"

"Not without you!" I shouted back. They were taken aback by my steadfastness, then simply nodded, taking the chair I handed to them while I grabbed another one from the table next to us. Yuri came up next to us as well, haven gotten back up and away from Bonnie after she got knocked down earlier, a red gash formed on her right cheek. We all stood shoulder to shoulder with each other, watching as the bear and rabbit robots started stomping towards us while Foxy stood over Natsuki, who was struggling to pull herself back up off the ground. The fox raised his hook hand once again, ready to bring down on the defenseless Natsuki, while she could watch in fear.

"NATSUKI!" We cried out, and quickly ran over to her side, knocking away Freddy's and Bonnie's swings as we did, and before Foxy could strike, Yuri and I both charged into him with our chairs, the force of our combined shove sent the robot reeling back, but remained on his feet. Yuri dropped her chair and bent down to help Natsuki, while Protag turned back around to face the oncoming robots, while I placed myself in between them and the fox, a face of burning rage scaring my face, but as I stared the robot down, a thought suddenly shot itself into my mind.

"Where's Sayori?!"

Sayori's POV

Those awful visions finally went away again, and I was finally able to recover my breath as well. Hat Kid and I were back standing inside of the middle of the office while she was still cradled in my arms looking back and forth between the sides of the room, worried something was going to come through the now open doors. I hated seeing her this scared, and I hated how I couldn't be out there helping the others, but with these painful visions that kept forcing themselves into my head, what was I supposed to do? Thankfully, they seemed to be gone for now, and I was getting worried about how the others were doing. Looking down at Hat Kid in my arms, she turned up to me, tears falling down her face from how scared she was.

"I know you're scared, but we'll make it through this." I reassured her with a soft smile. "Let's find the others and get out of here, OK?" Hat Kid hesitated for a moment, then turned back to me and nodded, still unsure about it, but I couldn't blame her. I was still worried myself, but I knew the others would never forgive themselves if I gave up here. Shifting Hat Kid up higher into my arms, I turned over towards the door, but before I could even make a single step, I froze in place and my eyes shot open when I heard the stomping of the robot's feet and the robotic grunts quickly getting louder. Through the broken window, I saw Chica noticing us in the room, her red eyes staring through my own, and starting moving towards us. Gasping at the sight, I hurried over to press the button next to the door to close it. It went down, but I didn't hear any sound of it hitting the ground, rather I looked down in horror to see a large yellow metal hand catching the door before it could shut completely. I started to back away from the door as it slowly began to rise back up again, sparks shooting from the sides of the door as the image of the robot began to fill where the door was, and the sounds of metal scraping and clanking coming from it as the robot pushed back against it. The robot raised the door over it's head, the top of the door sending sparks everywhere as the sounds of it snapping and cracking rang through the room, before it stepped inside, letting the now broken door fall to the ground behind it. It slowly started stomping towards where we were standing, raising its arms to grab us. I felt like my feet were glued to the ground. Every time I tried to move my legs, they wouldn't budge. I could only watch in fear as the robot's month started to widen, the metal creaked and clanked as it snapped open bit by bit. I braced myself and shut my eyes as it's jaw grew closer to my head. However, the only thing I ended up hearing was some small bangs, followed by the robot's screeching and a loud snap and crack. My eyes open to see the robot covering its face and beak, stepping back away from us. I was shocked to see that the robot's face looked broken in half, the top of it's head separated from it's lower half by only some wires and metal sticks and it looked like it had another pair of teeth inside of its mouth. It tried to snap it's mouth back shut, but it couldn't manage to do it. I looked down to see Hat Kid wildly swinging her umbrella in front of her, her eyes shut and her face turned away. She stopped for a moment after realizing she wasn't hitting anything, and looked surprised at what she did to the robot. It snapped it's head back towards us, roaring as it reached its arm towards us again. I stepped back out of the room through the other door behind me and took off down the hall, the robot following as we ran. I stepped into the main area where we ate and saw the others being surrounded by the other robots, holding chairs in front of them while Yuri was helping a bleeding Natsuki off the floor and helping her over to the exit of the building, all of them looking in really bad shape.

"Sayori!" Monika perked up when she noticed me, only to be caught by surprise as the fox robot suddenly ran at her, slashing at her with his hook hand, which scraped across the chair she quickly held in front of her face. It slammed it's fist into the chair, causing her to step back towards where Protag was, who was standing against the other two robots, and turned around to help Monika. The other two robots shot their eyes over to me as I quickly ran past them, before they turned back and started stomping over towards the others. I ran over to the stage and jumped on, hurrying over to the wall, and turned around to see the others struggling to fend off the robots as they were stepping back towards where Yuri and Natsuki were.

"Yuri, grab Sayori and let's get out of here!" Natsuki told Yuri.

"But what about you?" Yuri said.

"I'll be fine!" She stated. "Just go!"

Yuri nodded, gently pulling Natsuki's off her shoulder and grabbing another chair as she ran over to where I was. Monika and Protag were focused on keeping the other three robots busy while Natsuki stayed behind them, holding her shoulder in pain, and Yuri dashed around the table and leapt onto the stage where I was.

"Come on!" She said, holding her hand out to me. I was about to take it before I suddenly heard a gasp of shock from Monika and the banging of the chair that was knocked out of her hands by Foxy, who then brought his hook to it's side and swung it into the side of Monika's chest, just below her ribcage.

"Gah!" Cried Monika, as she grabbed the robotic arm and tried to pull the hook out of her, but before she could, the fox pulled it's other hand back into a fist and struck her directly across the face, sending her falling to the ground as the hook was ripped out of her chest. She landed hard on the floor, but she was able to pull herself up to face the robot, only to have the fox slam the bottom of it's foot straight into her face, knocking her back and onto the ground again.

"Monika!" The rest of us shouted. Protag turned around to see what had happened, but the bear robot then was able to smack the chair out of their hand as well. They gasped in surprise, before the bear then grabbed the top of their head and brought their other hand back behind. The bear then shoved Protag's head right into its uppercut, smashing it's fist right into Protag's face and sending his head shooting upwards before they fell to the ground on their back. The bear then stepped over to their side and picked them up by their chest and legs before lifting them over it's head and slamming them down into the nearby table, the table breaking in half and collapsing from the impact.

"AH!" Protag's shouted in pain as they crashed into the table and fell to the ground with it as it got smashed into pieces. They laid on top of the broken piece, struggling to pull themselves back up.

"Oh my god." Yuri uttered, completely in shock from what we were seeing. I couldn't bear to watch my friends getting beaten like this, but I didn't know what to do! The robot who was chasing me stood by the edge of the stage, scraping and scratching its hands against the floor of the stage, trying to reach where I was as it screamed at me and Yuri, leaving the two of us trapped on the stage!

"Natsuki, behind you!" Yuri suddenly shouted. I saw Natsuki perk up in confusion over to us for a second before turning around to see the purple rabbit all of a sudden right next to her, who had gone around the table that Protag ended up getting smashed into. Before Natsuki could react, Bonnie grabbed her arms and whipped her to the side to throw her back into the middle of the room, her back smacking right into Foxy, who both got knocked down to the ground. The robot landed on it's back, while Natsuki bounced off of it and hit her chest on the ground, right next to where Monika was. The robot wasted no time getting itself back up until it only had a knee to the ground, while Natsuki struggled to turn herself on to her back and lift her head back up to see where it was. Natsuki attempted to back herself away from the fox, but then it suddenly lunged at her, falling onto its chest and snapping it's jaw shut down right into Natsuki's leg.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!" Her scream echoes throughout the entire room. I couldn't believe what was happening. My breathing was out of control now, my hands and legs were shaking and my eyes kept flashing between the robots attacking the others and the one in front of me bringing it's legs up to step onto the stage with us. Time seemed to slow down for me as I could only watch what was happening around us. I could Yuri try to call out the other's name, Natsuki's screams and the robot's continued screeches as they stood over my friends, but it was all drowned around my heart pounding, which rang in my head. Yuri tried to keep Chica from getting closer to us, but ended up getting thrown off the stage and onto the ground, landing hard on her shoulder, before it turned its attention back to me, stepping after closer to where I was. Was this how it ended for us? Were we really going to all die because of me? Because I couldn't stop those painful visions? Because I was too scared to fight back?

I set Hat Kid down and clenched my fist. A rage began to boil inside of me, and it was ready to erupt at any moment.

No, this isn't how it ends for us. I won't let it.

Something snapped inside me.

"LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE, YOU BASTARDS!"

Grabbing the guitar that was resting on the wall next to me, and grunting with effort, I swung it as hard I could right into the bird's face. It made a metal groaning sound as it stepped back, but before it could finish turning its head back towards me, I swung again, smashing it again on the other side of its face, sending it back more and more until it was standing on the edge of the stage. I then readied the guitar in my hands and swung it upwards, slamming it into the robot's chin, and knocking over the edge, where it crashed into the ground with a loud bang. I was sweating, and tried to catch my breath from my effort, dropping the guitar onto the ground which had broken in half from my last swing, but the other two robots spun around to where I was standing, and started stomping over to where I was. I was frantically trying to figure out what to do now, but then Hat Kid suddenly leapt onto the table in front of the standing robots, a face of pure anger burned onto her face. Bonnie swung his hand to grab her, but she hopped over it and swung her umbrella right into the robot's face, knocking the top half clean off and sending it flying across the room, smashing into the wall on the other side. The robot roared and backed away from her, using its hand to cover its face, which now was nothing but the bottom of its jaw. Freddy brought its arms up over its head and slammed them down onto the table, smashing it underneath him where Hat Kid stood, but she jumped to the side and onto the ground before she could get hurt. Freddy then turned over to where she jumped to and Foxy stood up next to him, having let go of Natsuki's leg from its now bloody jaw. Foxy raised its foot in an attempt to crush her, but Hat Kid stepped out of the way to avoid the slam of the robot's foot and instead swung her umbrella at the robot's leg, smashing right through it like a hot knife through butter. Foxy screeched as it fell over onto the floor once again. I was completely mesmerized by the display. Hat Kid is taking out these robots like it was nothing! It was an incredible sight, but thoughts of her getting hurt kept playing through my head. She was still just a kid, she shouldn't be having to fight things like this, and even then, she wouldn't be able to hold them off forever!

"Sayori!" Yuri called out to me, snapping me out of my trance. "We need to leave now!" I nodded, and two of us raced over to where the others were laying. Monika was back up on her feet, grunting in pain as she struggled to drag an unconscious Natsuki away from the fight over the wall, pushing through her own injuries. Blood flowed out of Natsuki's leg like a trail from where she was when it happened.

"Monika!" I yelled over to her, as we ran. She turned her head over to us, herself breathing too heavily to say anything back. She was bleeding pretty badly from her broken nose and the gash on her right cheek, but she was still trying her hardest to get the others out. Yuri ran around and lifted up Natsuki's legs, being careful not to touch her wound.

"Grab Protag and let's go!" Yuri told me.

"Got it!" I said, and spun back around and quickly hurried over. Hat Kid was standing on the last remaining table, staying away from Freddy's attempts to grab her, while Protag was still laying on the ground, coughing and grunting in a painful effort to bring themselves back onto their feets, but didn't have enough strength left to do so.

"Here." I held my hands out for them to grab. Their eyes widened for a moment, as if they didn't expect me to be here, before taking my hand and grunts of effort from both of us, we got Protag back onto their feet, but they immediately dropped back down to their hands and knees, coughing up blood. I helped them up again, this time wrapping their arm over my shoulder to keep them from falling again and started walking over to the hall that led to the exit, where the others were already heading to. I heard a sudden gasp of surprise from behind me, and I looked over my other shoulder to see Hat Kid diving off the table just as Freddy slammed his fist into it, the table breaking in half as it did so. Hat Kid landed hard on her chest, yelping in pain with the impact, but before she could get back to her feet, she found herself once again underneath another robot foot ready to smash her, this time being the now faceless Bonnie, it's naked eyes staring down directly at her. She quickly rolled forward out of the way just before the robot slammed it's foot down and landed back on her feet. The robot roared in anger, this time Chica, who was now standing up again, joined in, throwing chairs that laid in front of it out of it's way, tossing them to the side as they crashed into the walls and the stages, and started heading after us. Hat Kid gasped, and ran ahead of us as I started trying to pick up the pace, making our way down the hall, the robots catching up from behind.

Yuri's POV

Making it to the exit doors, I carefully set Natsuki down and attempted to bring the doors open, only to find that they were still locked.

"No way!" Monika said through her heavy breaths. I looked over to the clock sitting on the wall next to us, 5:59. This isn't good, the doors auto lock won't turn off for another minute, and with the sounds of the robots getting closer, even a minute won't be enough time for us. Hat Kid ran up to us, coming to a halt by the doors, looking back and forth between them and myself, clearly panicking about our situation. However, seeing her using her umbrella earlier against the robots gave me an idea.

"Hat Kid, your umbrella!" I said, holding my hand out to her. She seemed confused, but didn't waste much time giving it to me. Sayori then came up to where we were.

"Yuri, what are you-" I heard her about to ask, before I raised the umbrella above my head and smashed it into the glass door, the sounds of them cracking from my effort. A second forceful swing was needed to break through them, the glass shattering onto the wet sidewalk ahead of us. The sun had yet to come up and the sounds of heavy rain pouring onto the pavement rang in my ears. I gave Hat Kid her umbrella back and let Sayori head out with her and Protag first before helping Monika lift Natsuki back up again, the slamming of the machine's feet growing dangerously close now. Monika stepped backwards out through the door and I quickly followed through, but not fast enough, as I suddenly felt something tug my hair back, causing me to fall back down, dropping Natsuki's feet onto the road as the back of my head smacked against the concrete of the sidewalk. Wincing and groaning in pain, I looked up to see the blurry image of Freddy pulling back inside the restaurant by my hair, while the other machines pressed themselves against the unbroken glass doors. Realizing what was happening, I quickly pulled the pocket knife I carried in my blazer pocket and slashed it through my hair, causing the machine to pull only loose hair back inside as I rushed to pull myself back up and carry Natsuki away along with Monika. As the raindrop crashed onto my now short hair, I risked a glance back over towards the restaurant, the machines pursuing us struggled to fit themselves through the frames of the door we broke through, and were starting to bang their arms against them in an attempt to force the frame wider so they could escape as well. I would have questioned if they could walk through the rain even if they had been able to follow after us, but my thought was interrupted by a bright light coming from behind me. I quickly turned to be greeted with the bright lights of an approaching car.

"Woah!" I heard Monika shout as both us and the vehicle came to a sudden, screeching halt. The car was light green, and it looked like an older vehicle, something out of the early 90's if I had to guess. The driver then stepped to reveal that it was, in fact, the same manager Protag had spoken with earlier this morning. They walked around to the front of their car and gasped when they saw us.

"What happened?" They asked concernedly. I didn't have the strength to respond, rather I instead just shifted my gaze over towards the robots, who were now shielding their eyes from the light and backing away from the door into the restaurant, the reds of their eyes disappearing as they vanished from our sight. The manager then sighed, understanding everything.

"I see." They spoke, and looked around at all of us. "Alright, let's get you all somewhere safe."
