Coleman glares down at Nancy, "and just what do you think you're doing?" He demands.

Nancy tries to pull her arm back, unsuccessfully. "None of your business," she replies.

Coleman's eyes narrow, "Well let's see what Mr. Rathbone has to say." He lifts up his free hand and knocks on the door.

Nancy can hear the footsteps approach the door before it is opened revealing Rathbone. "Ah Robert, punctual as usual," Rathbone's gaze fell on her. "My dear Greata, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be watching your movie?"

Nancy squares her shoulders the best she can while still being held by Coleman and holds Rathbone's gaze. "It finished, and I was bored in there, so I decided to leave."

"I found her listening at the door," provides Coleman.

Rathbone shakes his head, "my poor princesses." Rathbone reaches out a hand to cup her face, "If you were lonely my dear all you had to do was knock." Nancy jerks her head to the side trying, in vain, to avoid Rathbone's touch. "Or were you perhaps looking for something, like perhaps a phone?"

Nancy says nothing, just continues to stare at the old man. Rathbone addresses Coleman without dropping his attention from his prize. "Take her back to her room, then we have today's accounts to review."

Nancy feels Rathbone's thumb brush across her cheek, causing a shiver of fear to run down her spine before he dropped his hand. "Till dinner, my dear Greata." He smiles at her as Coleman forceable marches her back to her prison.

Joe pushes the down button for the elevator, then glances around the hallway. Well, that had proved interesting. What was Keller's lawyer doing at Rathbone's offices? Did Coleman work for Rathbone? It was something for them to check out. Before Joe could consider this more he notices smoke coming out from the bottom of a door across the way.

Joe makes his way over towards the door calling over his shoulder, "Frank."

Frank turns in Joe's direction, just in time to see Joe's hand reach for the knob of the door. "Joe, no!" Frank runs and tackles Joe out of the doorway, just as Joe opens the door. A fireball rips through the space where Joe had been standing.

Smoke is billowing out of the room. Fire licks the ceiling tiles. Frank scans the hallway and spots the small red box on the wall. He rushes over to it, breaks the glass, and pulls the alarm.

Meanwhile, Joe peeks carefully into the room, to see how bad the fire truly is. He sees a young woman on the floor. "Frank there is someone in here." Joe squats down and makes his way into the burning room.

Frank has found a fire extinguisher and does his best to hold back the flames while Joe pulls the unconscious woman out into the hallway. Joe checks the woman for breath and pulse, nothing. Hoping it's not too late he performs CPR on her.

Frank battles the fire for about five minutes before realizing it is much too big for him to put out with just one fire extinguisher. He makes his way over to Joe. "It's no use, the fire is too big," Frank informs his brother. Frank watches as Joe breaths for the girl again. "She going to make it?"

Joe didn't answer, instead, he straightens up getting ready for another round of chest compressions when they both hear the woman start to cough.

Frank and Joe get the young blonde woman to her feet. "Can you walk?" Joe asks urgently. She nods her head yes. "Was there anyone else in there?" She shakes her head no.

Frank looks at the two of them and makes a decision. "Get her downstairs, I'm going to the penthouse."

Joe's eyes grow huge with concern, "Frank, you don't even know if Nancy is up there." Begging him not to risk his life.

"Joe we can't take that chance. Even if she's not Rathbone is. The last time I checked saving lives was what we did. I'll help get him out even though I think he's the only person in the world that knows where she is. Take care of her, I'll be back. I'll catch up to you." Frank hurriedly makes his way back to the blue elevator they had seen before.

Joe starts to gather all the people on the floor. Most of who are panicking at the elevators. "People, people. The elevators might not be working," He shouts over the crowd and fire, still holding the woman he rescued by the shoulders. "Let's take the stairs." He leads the group towards the stairs. He makes sure the whole group is in the stairwell before bringing up the rear.

Frank has come to the blue elevator and there is another group of people there debating what to do. "The fire is spreading. I would go use the stairs, the elevators might be down," Frank states calmly. He watches as the group makes its way back the way he had come.

Frank franticly pushes the button for the blue elevator.

The first firetrucks are starting to arrive along with the chief. "Well, what do we got?" asks the fire chief.

"Five floors burning. The third, fourth, tenth, nineteenth, and twenty-sixth. Looks like the arsonist. They all broke out more or less at the same time. And the nineteenth floor is completely ablaze," Answers one of the firemen.

The fire chief walks into the building's lobby. "Mr. Chase manager of the building," the fireman introduces the two men. "Chief Madison."

"Been here for twenty-five years. Use to work out of the Chambers building on Figaro and 2nd you know where that is. Mr. Rathbone owns that one too. Never had a fire before. Even in the summer of '59 when it got up to 107 degrees you remember that?" babbled Mr. Chase.

Chief Madison meanwhile was looking over the blueprints that Mr. Chase had provided. He looks up at the older man. "Sprinkler system? The sprinkler system," the Chief demands.

Chase shakes his head in disbelief, "It doesn't seem to be working."

Madison looks at Chase then at his man and takes a deep breath, "Swell." He notices something else on the blueprint, and pointing at it he asks. "What is above the twenty-sixth floor?"

"It's Mr. Rathbone's penthouse."

Madison points at what looks like a shaft on the drawings. "What's this?"

"That's a private elevator to the penthouse."

"Is the penthouse occupied?

Chase looks at Chief Madison like he should know better and shakes his head, "Mr. Rathbone hasn't left that penthouse in twenty-two years."

"Well, he's leaving it today," retorts the chief.

In the penthouse sitting room, the smoke has started to fill the air. Rathbone and Coleman are looking out a window. They can see the firetrucks down below.

"Better get out of here, the whole building is on fire," states Coleman.

Rathbone waves one hand in the air not looking away from the window. "No, no, no. Greta is still here we have to save her."

"We have to save ourselves!"

Rathbone looks from the window and looks towards Nancy's room. "My princess and I will be spending all of eternity here."

Frank is franticly waiting for the elevator, the only known way up into the penthouse. Finally, it has come. But not until the corridor is ladened with smoke. He holds a small handkerchief to his face to help filter out the smoke so that he can breathe.

When the doors of the car open, he quickly enters and pushes the button for the penthouse. "Please Nance, be there," he whispers as the doors close.
