A few days later...

It was midnight at Hotel Transylvania. Dracula Instructed his zombie employees to finish putting up more birthday decorations inside the ballroom and giant spider web that says 'Happy Birthday Johnny!'. There were also monster and human foods prepared in a long table. Quasimodo also entered the ballroom carrying a gigantic three-layered birthday cake.

"Ooooh! That is one big cake!" Pedro exclaimed when he saw the cake.

Pedro prepared his napkin around his neck and held a knife and fork but Dracula and Quasimodo was able to stop the young mummy from eating the cake.

"Is everything set?" Dracula asked annoyingly from Pedro.

"Yeah. Everything's all good, buddy!" Frank answered.

"Good. All we need now is Johnny to come here and making sure that Pedro wouldn't eat the entire cake." Dracula sternly said and glared at Pedro, who nervously laughed out of fear.

"I'll go get him. Make sure you guys stay quiet when we get back." Mavis said as she turned into her bat form to fly on Johnny's room.

Meanwhile...

Johnny was all alone inside his room. He was sitting on the side of his bed while starring at the Batman cowl he was holding. Johnny wasn't that much excited for his birthday. The death anniversary of his parents. While depressingly starring at his mask, Johnny heard a knock behind his door.

"Johnny? You in there?" Mavis asked.

"Yeah! Just a sec, Mavy!" Johnny shouted as he quickly puts his cowl inside his suitcase underneath his bed. When Johnny opened the door, Mavis quickly gave him a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Happy Birthday, Johnny-Stein!" Mavis squealed hugging Johnny tightly.

"Thanks, babe." Johnny hugged Mavis back forming a weak smile.

After they broke the hug. Johnny went closer to his room window admiring the beauty of the night.

"Beautiful night right?" Johnny asked.

"It sure is. Wanna go up to the roof?" Mavis smirked while Johnny nodded.

Mavis turned into her bat form and grabbed Johnny by the collar of his shirt flying them up to the roof. The young couple quietly sat on the roof of the hotel admiring the view of quiet forest and feeling the wind passing through their faces.

Johnny on the other hand was lost in his thoughts. Just thinking about his parents, Mike and Linda. How he missed them so bad. Mavis turns to Johnny noticing the sad look on his face like something was bothering him.

"Are you alright, sweetie?" Mavis asked in concern as she gently puts her hand on Johnny's shoulder.

"I am." Johnny said while forming a weak smile. Mavis already what was bothering her fiancé.

"You miss them don't you." Mavis asked. This made Johnny frowned and looked away from Mavis.

"Yeah. A lot. I can't believe I also lost them that night." Johnny's admitted in sadness as his voice was breaking and tears were coming out from his eyes.

Mavis quickly hugged Johnny for comfort. She could feel Johnny's pain. She remembers her mother, Martha the night the angry humans killed her the night when she was still an infant.

"I know what it's like to lose someone. I'm sure your parents wouldn't want you to be sad in your birthday, right?" Mavis whispered.

Johnny began to cry and buried his face on her shoulder. Mavis only patting his back gently.

"Hey... shhh... it's okay. There there... shhh... don't cry. I'm here when you need me. I want you to be happy on your birthday, okay?" Mavis whispered while gently puts her hands on Johnny's cheeks making eye contact to one another. Johnny's teary eyes could only see Mavis big peaceful blue eyes and her warm smile. This managed to calm Johnny down knowing that Mavis was always there for him.

"O.. okay." Johnny whispered while Mavis gave him a quick kiss on his nose.

Johnny hugged Mavis again and hugged him back. Johnny always loved how Mavis can be comforting to him. Johnny only closed his eyes and smiled while resting his head on Mavis' shoulder.

"Shhh... it's okay now. I'm here now..." Mavis whispered while gently patting his back. She could perfectly her Johnny taking a few deep breaths calming himself down.

"I love you, Mavy-Wavy." Johnny whispered still hugging Mavis.

"I love you, Johnny-Stein." Mavis giggled from hearing her pet name.

The young couple shared on deep passionate kiss and lovingly gazed at each other with Mavis' blue eyes and Johnny's hazel eyes.

"What do you say we head downstairs." Mavis asked while Johnny replied by kissing her on the cheek as a yes. Mavis changed into her bat form and grabbed Johnny on the collar of his shirt back to his room.

"Hold on, Mavy. I'm just gonna go fresh up." Johnny said as he entered his bathroom while Mavis sat on the side of the bed waiting for him.

Johnny later came out from his bathroom only to wear his Frankenstein costume. The disguise he wore when came to the hotel for the first time. Mavis widened her eyes and smiled exposing her fangs.

"Aww! JOHNNY-STEIN! You're so adorable!" Mavis squealed as she quickly embraced Johnny-stein tightly while levitating herself from the ground and kissing his face multiple times causing Johnny to laugh and blush.

Later on, Mavis and Johnny-stein were walking through the hallways of the hotel leading them to the ballroom.

"So, where are we going again?" Johnny-stein asked.

"You'll see." Mavis said smirking at Johnny-stein.

Johnny-stein was nervous and curious on what Mavis had planned for him. Mavis opened the door leading them into a dark room.

"Uhh... hello?" Johnny said as him and Mavis entered the dark room.

The lights suddenly turned on revealing his monsters friends and families, birthday decorations, a spider web at the ceiling saying Happy Birthday Johnny!', and a gigantic three-layered cake all together in the same room.

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY!" Everyone shouted.

"Wow! Thanks guys you're the best!" Johnny exclaimed.

"You're welcome, Johnny-Stein." Mavis said hugging Johnny's arm.

Everyone enjoyed the party for a couple of minutes. Mavis, Johnny, Hank, Pedro, Wendy, Sophie, and Charlotte all sat together eating their human/monster food.

"Johnny, can I ask you something?" Sophie asked.

"Sure. What is it, Sophie?" Johnny-stein said.

"Why are you dressed up like uncle Frank?" Sophie asked while pointing at Johnny-stein's disguise.

"Yeah. What's up with that?" Charlotte asked curiously.

"It's the monster disguise I wore when I first met Mavis." Johnny-stein explained which made Mavis giggled.

"Yeah. He pretended to be uncle Frank's right arm cousin." Mavis said as she lovingly gazed at Johnny-stein.

"I kinda like it! Welcome to the family uncle!" Hank exclaimed while offering Johnny-stein a high five. Johnny-stein chuckled and gave Hank an high five.

Everyone gathered together for Johnny to blow up his birthday candles and sang a happy birthday song for the young boy.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Johnny! Happy birthday to you!" Everyone said. Johnny-stein blew up his birthday candles as his friends and families cheered for him.

"Thanks for the cake, Quasy." Johnny-stein said.

"Of course, smelly human. It's the Count Dracula's orders and I have to obey it." Quasimodo explained tiredly still having trouble on trusting the young.

Before everyone could have a slice, Pedro stepped forward in front of the cake.

"It's cake time!" Pedro exclaimed as he ate the lower layer of the cake while leaving a big whole on it.

Mavis, Johnny, Hank, Wendy, Sophie and Charlotte laughed at their friend's actions while everyone gave a disappointing look at Pedro. Quasimodo was so angry that he chased Pedro around the room for ruining the chef's masterpiece.

"I wish your parents would've been here with us to see the man you've become." Alfred said to Johnny-stein.

"Thanks, Al." Johnny-stein nodded.

As the party almost end, Mavis pulled Johnny-stein for a slow dance while Frank played the music on a DJ booth.

Both Mavis and Johnny-stein enjoyed themselves like they never wanted to end this precious moment. Mavis rested her head on Johnny's chest listening to his heart beat while Johnny rested his chin on top of her head and their arms wrapped around each other. Everyone awed at the young couple dancing. Dracula was happy seeing his daughter and Johnny-stein together.

"Happy Birthday, Johnny." Mavis whispered while leaning for a birthday kiss to Johnny-stein.

"Thank you, Mavy." Johnny-stein said kissing Mavis on the forehead. He felt so lucky for having her in his life.

It was a stormy night in the human village. Inside his prison cell was the Joker, siting on his bed while laughing silently. He was wearing a straight jacket and the bruises on his face was still visible. All the Joker could is to laugh and thinking about Batman/Johnny. The Joker knew his life would be so boring without Batman/Johnny. Who is he going to talk to? Who will really understands him?

The Joker sang a little song for himself about how much Batman/Johnny means to him and how he couldn't leave without his "best friend".

I tried so hard my dear to show that you're my every dream.

Yet you're afraid each thing I do is just some evil scheme

A memory from your lonesome past keeps us so far apart

Why can't I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold cold heart

Another crime before my time made your heart sad and blue

And so now you make me pay for things I didn't do

In anger unkind words are said that make the teardrops start

Why can't I free your doubtful mind, and melt your cold cold heart

You'll never know how much it hurts to never see you smile

You know you need and want to laugh yet you claim it's not your style

Why do you hide behind that mask, I'm trying to do my part

Why can't I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold cold heart

There was a time when I believed that you belonged to me

But now I know your heart is shackled to a memory

You won't admit that we're the same and it's tearing me apart

Why can't I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold cold heart

While the Joker was singing, his attention was caught by something outside his window. Outside his prison cell was a building. It wasn't the building that caught the Joker's attention, it was the dark figure that was standing on the building's rooftop. The Joker grinned at the dark figure outside his cell window. He knew who this was.

Meanwhile, Batman/Johnny was standing on the rooftops silently glaring at the Joker inside his prison cell. Batman/Johnny didn't care about the rain pouring down to his suit or the thunderstorm that just occurred, all he needed was keeping an eye on the Joker.

"You really can't stop yourself from staying away from me, can you bats? I knew you would never really abandon me! Nothing in the whole world can keep us apart! Hahaha... hahahahahahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" The Joker laughed loud and menacingly while Batman/Johnny grappled away while his cape expands in a bat-shape.
