It was now two days away and the hotel is almost done on setting up the finishing installments for Mavis and Johnny's wedding. Inside Mavis' room, Dracula told the young couple that it was customary for the couple to be separated before the wedding.

"Dad, why does Johnny have to leave the hotel? It's not fair!" Mavis asked upset about the idea.

"I'm sorry, Honey-bat. It's bad luck for the bride and groom to see each other before the wedding." Dracula explained.

"Mavy, come on. It's only for two days." Johnny spoke up trying to help Dracula.

"I don't care. I'm not used on being away from you." Mavis exclaimed hugging Johnny tightly.

Dracula and Johnny stared at each other on how this was difficult for Mavis. Johnny now has enough courage to cheer his fiancée up.

"Okay let's put it this way. I won't see you until you until you start walking down the isle wearing the most stunning dress I've never seen before. It'll be like zinging with you all over again." Johnny softly said while starring at blue eyes. Mavis managed to form a comforting smile on her face.

"Are you sure about this Johnny?" Mavis asked worriedly.

"I promise you, Mavy. It'll be worth the wait." Johnny said as they shared one deep passionate kiss.

After a few minutes, this was beginning to get uncomfortable for Dracula. The old vampire cleared his throat which made Johnny and Mavis stopped kissing one another.

"I better get going now. Sleep well, Mavy." Johnny said.

"Sleep well to you too, Johnny-stein." Mavis said kissing Johnny on the cheek.

Johnny heads out to the room leaving only the father and daughter behind.

"How are doing, my little coffin cake?" Dracula asked his little girl in concern.

"I'm doing fine I guess... I'm just gonna miss Johnny. That's all." Mavis replied a little sad.

"Don't worry, Mavis. You'll see Johnny again at the wedding. It'll be the best night of your afterlife." Dracula gave Mavis a comforting hug to cheer her up and hugged him back. "How about we go out for a fly to cheer you up. We haven't done that in awhile."

"Sounds like fun, dad. It is a beautiful night after all." Mavis smiled at her father's idea.

The father and daughter changed into their bat forms and flew out side through the window. Dracula and Mavis spend their remaining time flying up at the sky on this beautiful night. They also played hide and seek behind the fluffy clouds with Dracula finding Mavis.

"Mavy-wavy... come out, come out whenever you are." Dracula teasingly called out in a singsong while looking behind the clouds but still no sign of his daughter. Dracula can hear Mavis giggling nearby hiding behind the clouds.

"Hohoho... hide all you want, honey-bat. I'll find you eventually. After all, I'm the master of hide and go seek." Dracula laughed out and kept searching for Mavis behind the clouds.

Meanwhile, Mavis was hiding behind one of the clouds trying to stop herself from giggling until it was too late.

"I've found you!" Dracula puts his head out looking at Mavis.

Mavis screamed and laughed at the same time while flying away from Dracula but he was so fast that he caught her and began to tickle.

"Cootchie, cootchie, coo, Mavy-Wavy!" Dracula teased Mavis while tickling her. Mavis kept laughing and squealed.

"Okay... dad... you win!" Mavis exclaimed while breathing heavily from her father's tickle.

Dracula and Mavis flew back to the hotel and changed back into their human forms as they sat on the roof watching the beautiful night.

"I love you, dad." Mavis said as she hugged her father.

"I love you too, my Mavy-Wavy." Dracula hugged back and smiled at Mavis thinking at how she has grown up to be and was about to get married.

The two vampires separate their own ways after that as Dracula went back inside his office and Mavis went back in her room where she saw her telephone ringing and quickly answered it.

"Hello?" Mavis answered.

"Hey, Mavis." Johnny said through the phone.

"Hi, sweetie! How are you doing?" Mavis exclaimed wanting to hear Johnny's voice.

"I'm staying here with Alfred's until the wedding. I called because I wanted to check up on you. How are you?" Johnny asked.

"Aww... Johnny, I miss you too. I'm doing quite alright. Me and dad just went out for a fly." Mavis said.

"That's wonderful to hear." Johnny said while yawning.

"Are you okay? Your voice sounds different." Mavis asked worriedly.

"I'm alright, Mavy. Just a little tired that's all." Johnny tiredly said still yawning.

"Aww... I think you should better get some rest, honey. We've got a big night ahead of us!" Mavis reminded.

"Okay, I will. I just wanna hear your voice. That's all. I love you." Johnny said.

"I love too, Johnny-stein. Bye." Mavis lovingly said as she kissed her phone for Johnny ending the call and went to sleep.

Johnny had already left the hotel and stayed in at Alfred's new house, or the Cartwright's old home. The red head placed his oversized backpack inside his guest room to get some rest.

A part of Johnny wanted to hear Mavis' voice before gets some sleep so he grabbed his phone and dialed some numbers. Johnny could only hear the phone ringing as he waited for minutes until a familiar voice answered.

"Hello?" Mavis answered.

"Hey, Mavy." Johnny brightened his mood when he heard Mavis' voice.

"Hi, sweetie! How are you doing?" Mavis asked.

"I'm staying here with Alfred's until the wedding. I called because I wanted to check up on you. How are you?" Johnny smiled while talking to Mavis.

"Aww... Johnny, I miss you too. I'm doing quite alright. Me and dad just went out for a fly." Mavis answered.

"That's wonderful to hear." Johnny said as he yawned I'm tiredness.

"Are you okay? Your voice sounds different." Mavis asked worriedly.

"I'm alright, Mavy. Just a little tired. That's all." Johnny said still yawning.

"Aww... I think you should better get some rest, honey. We've got a big night ahead of us!" Mavis said in comforting tone.

"Okay, I will. I just wanna hear your voice. That's all. I love you." Johnny lovingly said.

"I love too, Johnny-stein. Bye." Mavis said making a quick kiss sound over the phone for Johnny and the call ended.

Alfred then came in the room to check up on the young red head.

"Are you quite settled, my boy? Do you need anything else?" Alfred asked.

"No, Al. I've got everything I need for tonight. Thanks for letting me stay here, Al." Johnny said.

"Of course, Johnny. You're always welcome here. One thing we need to worry about is a pest problem." Alfred said.

"What do you mean, Alfred?" Johnny asked confusingly.

"Well if you must know, I've encountered a flying bat rodent entered the house earlier this afternoon. I tried my best to keep it off the house." Alfred explained.

"A bat? Are you sure it wasn't Drac or Mavis checking up on you? Vampires can turn into bats you know." Johnny said.

"I can assure you it wasn't Dracula or Mavis. The last time a saw the bat was he flew back outside the garden." Alfred explained.

"Hmph... I'll go try to check it out." Johnny said.

Johnny went outside the house and started to roam around the garden while holding his flashlight to spot anything hiding behind the darkest area. He pointed the light towards the bushes that looks like it was hiding something. Johnny pulled some bushes away and it was revealed that it was blocking a deep well.

Johnny went back inside the house and grabbed some equipments from his oversized backpack. He grabbed his cables that he's been using during his mountain climbing and head back outside the house to investigate the old well further more.

Johnny used the cable and climbed deeply down the well until his feet reached the rocky ground. Johnny looked around underneath the deep well where he spotted a small hole through the rocky wall. He was able to crouch down slowly through the hole and found himself inside a giant, dark, cold, and echoey cave.

"Dang... I didn't the Cartwrights had a giant cave underneath their house." Johnny chuckled as his voice echoed a little throughout the cave.

Johnny turned on his flashlight again and examined the rock formations around the cave. The cave was so cold that Johnny could see his breath coming out from his mouth. While flashing his light around the cave, Johnny can hear screeching noises echoing through the cave.

Just then, thousands of bats came out flying towards Johnny. The red head flinched and tried to protect himself from the bats. Johnny began to noticed that the bats weren't attacking him so he removed his arms from his head with his eyes closed. Johnny slowly stood up and feeling the bats flying passed by him. The bats kept flying around the cave while Johnny just stood there closing his eyes, embracing his symbol of fear. Batman and Johnny just discovered his new Batcave.
