The lobby had been decorated in mostly white with a soft pink lighting, a large sparkling spider web reading Congratulations, Mavis and Johnathan on the ceiling, a white carpet went from the door to the reception deck and two zombie bellhops finished laying it out proudly. But then it got covered in slime from Blobby, a muddy footprint from Bigfoot, and further ruined by werewolf pups, Mr. Hydraburg, and other monsters walking rapidly over it.

"Ohh!" the zombies moaned in disappointment.

"Welcome! Welcome!" Dracula greeted with a smile to a yeti and a gremlin as he shook their hands.

"Congrats Drac! Holy smokes! Everybody's here!" The yeti exclaimed as he saw Frank and Eunice walked by. "That Johnny is a nice kid."

"Hey, she loves him," Dracula said with a happy tone and smile.

"Yeah! Look at it this way, Drac; you're not losing a daughter, you're gaining..." The gremlin was cut off when Dracula towered over him and the yeti with a deep, demonic voice, and red eyes as he yelled.

"YOU BETTER BELIEVE I'M NOT LOSING MY DAUGHTER! SHE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" Dracula yelled at the trembling yeti and gremlin as the vampire gave a roar at the end. Dracula's anger vanished and smiled at the two still frozen and wide eyed with fear like nothing happened.

"Anyways, you guys should try the deviled eggs. We have Quasimodo made it special for all the guests." Dracula said in a friendly way as a gargoyle chef came floating in with a plate of deviled eggs smiling.

"Of course! Whatever you want, Drac!" The yeti and gremlin replied nervously as they grabbed some deviled eggs with their hands shaking out of fear.

Meanwhile, a family of three humans walked through the revolving door, all wearing formal clothes for the upcoming wedding.

"Brett, Kent, and Melly Loughran! The family of the groom has arrived!" an armored knight announced their presence loudly.

Every monster in the lobby froze in place and stared at the new humans. Both the Loughrans and the monsters guests stared uncomfortably at each other but the Loughrans smiled warmly when Johnny and Alfred came and greeted their family with warm hugs.

"Guys! I can't believe you're all here!" Johnny shouted happily as his siblings greeted them with hugs and smiles.

"Johnny! Congratulations, bro!" The Loughrans greeted excitedly as Johnny and Alfred embraced them.

"Brett, Kent, and Melly! I'm glad you could all make it!" Dracula exclaimed as he greeted the new guests but only this time he didn't roar at them.

"Of course, Drac. We wouldn't want to miss my little brother's wedding." Brett said as he swung his arm around Johnny, locking him in a playful headlock and ruffling his hair.

"Urk! Come on, dude. You're... messing up... my hair!" Johnny choked, struggling to free himself of his eldest brother's grasp while everyone laughed at their bonding.

"Alright, that's enough you two." Alfred said laughing a little while Brett released his hold on Johnny and catching his breath.

"Please, make yourselves comfortable. The wedding will begin in a few hours." Dracula suggested in a friendly manner.

"We're so happy for you, Johnny! After the wedding, you and Mavis are going to be the new Mr. and Mrs. Loughran!" Kent said proudly.

"I wish mom and dad would've been here with us right now." Melly replied softly while everyone's smile slowly faded in sadness.

"Me too, sis." Johnny approached his little sister and gave her a comforting hug.

"We better get going to our respective places before the wedding starts. We'll give Johnny some time to prepare himself." Alfred said.

"I'll see you guys later." Johnny whispered to his family as they went outside the hotel where the ceremony will take place.

Johnny couldn't help it but to have mix feelings right now. He was filled with joy knowing that he'll be marrying Mavis for a few hours and spend their lives together as husband and wife and at the same time a part of him felt downhearted that his parents wouldn't see their youngest son on his big night. Johnny then felt a gently touch on his shoulder.

"I know what you're going through, Johnny. I also wished Martha was here with me to see our little Mavy getting married to the most kind hearted human that I've ever met." Dracula said with a warm smile at the young red head human. Johnny smiled back at Dracula that he was worthy for Mavis.

"Thanks, Drac!"

"I better check on the rest of the guests. You better get ready, Johnathan." Dracula said sternly with a serious look on his face while Johnny did a thumbs up.

As Dracula walked away, he couldn't help but think at what the gremlin said to him earlier. Mavis was growing up and getting married to start her own family. A look of sadness formed onto his face. To Dracula, she was still his little princess. He made his way to the elevator to go see how his lovely Mavy-Wavy was doing.

Inside her bedroom, Mavis was busy getting ready for her wedding. Wendy, Sophie, Charlotte, Wanda and Eunice were also inside the room to help the young vampiress to get ready when they heard a heavy knock at the door.

"Come in!" Mavis called to the door.

The door opened slowly and the pouty face of Dracula came in peaking around the door. It looked like he had been crying.

"Hi, Uncle Drac!" Wendy, Sophie, and Charlotte said waving their hands at the older vampire.

"Hello Drac. What brings you here? Not trying to change Mavis' mind, are you?" Eunice asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Eunice, you know Drac wouldn't ruin Mavis' big day," Wanda said.

"What? No. I would never do that, I just wanted to come see my Mavy-Wavy before her big night." Dracula said as he held his hands up.

"Hi, dad. Are you alright?" Mavis asked in concern especially looking at his eyes like they were tearing up.

"Of course I am Mavy. How about you?" Dracula took Mavis' hands into his as he smiled and looked gently into her eyes.

"I'm so excited but a little nervous. I can't wait for the wedding to start. I want to see Johnny's face when I walk down the aisle," Mavis smiled exposing her fangs.

Dracula couldn't help it but to stare at Mavis wearing her black wedding dress. To him, she looked just like her mother, Martha. So beautiful and glowing with excitement.

"You look wonderful my, honey-bat. You look so much like your mother. Johnny and the others are going to love your dress. It is perfect for you." Dracula said putting his hand gently on her cheek.

"Thanks, dad." Mavis smiled until she noticed Dracula's eyes were slowly releasing tears. "Are you sure you're okay, dad?" Mavis asked again while Dracula sighed and tell her the truth.

"Mavis, I am so happy for you. You are so grown up and still full of so much life. I just hate to see you go. To me, you are still my little baby girl and you will always be. I don't know what I would do without you, Mavy. Deep down inside me, it feels like I am losing you." Dracula said as tears started to flow from his eyes. He turned into a bat and stared up at his daughter with big sad round red eyes.

"Daddy, don't give me the pouty bat face," Mavis scolded gently as Dracula turned back into his human form but still crying. As he turned back to his human form, Mavis hugged Dracula to comfort him. "Oh, dad. It's okay to feel that way but you will never lose me. This is my home. I love it here and so does Johnny. And no matter how old I am, Daddy, I will always be your little baby." Mavis finished as she deeply hugged Dracula.

Wendy, Sophie, Charlotte, Wanda, and Eunice smiled and teared up watching the sweet and wonderful moment between the father and daughter.

"Really? You mean it?" An ecstatic smile spread across Dracula's lips after hearing the answer.

"Yes, Daddy." Mavis nodded while smiling at her father.

"Hooray! She's staying!" Dracula exclaimed in happiness and victory as he pumped a fist in the air which made Mavis giggled at her father.

"Uh, Uncle Drac. Sorry to interrupt but we still have to do Mavis' makeup." Wendy said.

"Oh, yes. Of course." Dracula said immediately stop celebrating for his sudden victory. "There are some last minute things that need attending to." Before Dracula could leave the room, he kissed his daughter on the forehead. "I'll see you downstairs, my sweet blood orange. Love you, Mavy-Wavy."

"I love you too, Dad," Mavis replied as she hugged Dracula for one last time.

Drac left the room, leaving Wendy, Sophie, Charlotte, Wanda, and Eunice to help Mavis get ready before the big ceremony starts.

The wedding took place outside on a beautiful clear night. Dozens of little bats held up sparkling pink curtains for the ceremony. Humans sat on the groom's side and monsters sat on the bride's side. Even the Drac Pack was there on the Bride's side. The wolf pups ran through the two aisles, startling the monsters and humans. Murray escorted his date, the lovely female mummy, to her seat like a gentleman and he got all giddy to be seated with such a beautiful mummy.

"Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah! Yo! How hot is my date?" Murray asked Griffin, showing off his girlfriend.

"So hot! How about how hot mine is?" Griffin gestured to an empty seat beside him.

"You've got a date?" Murray questioned, puzzled.

"Yeah! She's invisible. That's why you can't see her," Griffin said.

"Oh, yeah," Frank doubted sarcastically and did a quote gesture. "This is the one from Canada."

"Shh! Wedding's starting," Griffin hushed the golem.

Johnny stood at the altar with Kent, Hank, and Pedro as his groomsmen. Sophie, Charlotte, and Melly were bridesmaids and Wendy as Mavis' bride of honor. Down the aisle came Brett with Mavis's other monster friend, Kelsey. A purple-faced hag waved hello and Kelsey gestured towards Brett and did a gagging sound to indicate what she thought of him.

A little red-haired girl came down the aisle as a flower girl. She carried a teddy bear and a basket of black roses.

"Aww." The humans on the groom's side adorably said while watching the cute little girl walk.

Suddenly, she was attacked by werewolf pups, shredding the flowers and one of them ran off with her teddy bear. She was suddenly released as the little girl was a disheveled mess. The humans were shocked at the violence the little girl received.

"Aww." The monsters on the bride's side adorably said while watching the little girl walk in dizziness.

It was time for the bride to appear. The humans and monsters turned back as a spotlight was shown to the back of the aisle where it shown down on Mavis Dracula.

Everyone was speechless and in awe at how beautiful she looked. Mavis was ready to walk down the aisle as she wore her beautiful black wedding dress with a silver tiara with a silver spider wed style veil. Frank, Eunice, Wayne, Wanda, Murray, and Griffin' eyes were filled with happy tears as they turned to face her. As she walked down the aisle, the proud and tearful Count Dracula smiled widely as he imagined Mavis as his little girl in her wedding gown.

As Johnny stared at her, his jaw dropped and eyes widened at how beautiful Mavis is in her black wedding gown as she slowly drew closer to the altar. He could perfectly see her short raven hair bangs and her big deep blue eyes that he was always hypnotized by. Johnny couldn't help it but to let out tears of joy come out from his eyes and let a smile cross his lips.

For Mavis, she smiled brightly at Johnny and lightly giggled at his tuxedo, black shorts and his black and white converse shoes. Mavis knew that Johnny was not a formal dresser but she did not mind at all. In fact, that's what she loved about him and what makes him so adorable to her.

Reaching the altar, Mavis stood right beside Johnny. She kept staring up at his hazel eyes while he stared at her blue eyes.

"You?" Mavis mouthed to Johnny smiling at him.

"You." Johnny mouthed and smiled back Mavis.

The young couple mouthed the words they used when Dracula brought Johnny back to the hotel.

After the young couple exchanged their vows and I do's. Johnny gently placed the ring on Mavis's finger. Dracula couldn't help but smile at his daughter and how beautiful she was. She has grown up and became just like Martha. He was so happy, he was almost in tears, watching his daughter get married to her zing.

It was time for the bride and groom to kiss. Unable to keep his terror contained any long, Dracula waved his hand and made the shrunken head float telepathically between their kiss. Johnny and Mavis opened their eyes in disgust while the shrunken head smiled.

Dracula smiled sheepishly and did a gesture to them to make the kiss a small one. Like what the Count suggested, Mavis and Johnny kissed quickly to appease him.

Everyone cheered and applauded for the newlyweds. Dracula stood up and cheered the loudest, but his in-laws, and his friends shot him displeased expressions but all he did is to ignore them.

Soon the wedding reception began. Marty the palest Gillman, gave a heartfelt and blubbered speech for the young couple, which made all of the monsters tear up. Dracula, Mavis, and Johnny were also teared up in Marty's speech.

"True, so true, Marty," Johnny said as he raised his glass to the Gillman but all the humans, mostly the Loughrans, didn't understand it at all and exchanged confused expressions.

Now it was time for the bride and groom to cut the cake. The white wedding cake screeched in horror as Mavis and Johnny cut it. Pieces were served to Brett, Kent and Melly by zombie waiters, and these slices screamed as they jumped off of the plates. Johnny's siblings felt uncomfortable to have screaming cake slices in front them.

Johnny playfully fed Mavis a piece but purposely missed her mouth, getting frosting all over her nose. Mavis, on the other hand, covered Johnny's face full of cake. Certainly worth it and they kissed after their little food fight.

Up next, the monsters and the humans gathered together on the dance floor for romantic slow dancing. Every monster couple and human couple swayed slowly on the dance floor. The other couples who were dancing are Frank and Eunice, Wayne and Wanda, Murray and his date, and surprisingly Wendy's father, Bob Blob, dancing with Pedro's mother, Shonda. Griffin was also on the dance floor pretending he was dancing with his date.

Johnny and Mavis swayed slowly together, gazing lovingly into each other's eyes as he pulled the her close to him and put his arm around her back as he held her other hand. Mavis rested her head on Johnny's chest, listening to the rhythm of his heart beat. Johnny placed his chin on top of her head, smelling the sweet smell of her hair. They did not want this to end anytime soon.

Mavis then felt a slight tap on her shoulder. She gently turns around and It was Dracula wanting to dance with his daughter. The newlyweds suddenly let go of each other while everyone watched in awe as Dracula and Mavis danced up the wall and onto the ceiling near the crystal chandelier.

Johnny was still standing on the dance floor watching Dracula and Mavis dancing on the ceiling with their vampire abilities and smiling at them. The red head human was all alone. He wished that his mother would tap his shoulder wanting to dance with her youngest son in his wedding night. Everyone in the room felt so bad for the young boy. Johnny was struggling to fight back tears until he was surprised to feel a tap on his shoulder.

"Melly? Is everything alright?" Johnny asked as he turns around only to find his little sister.

"Everything's all good. I was just wondering if I could have a dance with my brother." Melly asked smiling at Johnny.

Johnny was speechless but he failed to stop the tears coming out from his eyes. His little sister was willing to give the opportunity to dance with his loved one. The dance that Linda would've wanted with Johnny. The brother and sister began to slow dance, especially the two of them were so close during their childhood.

"Mom and dad would be so happy for you." Melly whispered. This caused Johnny to break down in tears even more.

"I missed them so badly." Johnny cried as tears came out from his eyes. He wanted to see his mom and dad again.

"I know, Johnny. We all do." Melly was also tearing up while she gently patted Johnny's back to cheer him up and hugged him.

Meanwhile back at the ceiling near the Illuminating chandelier were Dracula and Mavis dancing together.

"Is it everything you ever wanted, my little Poisonberry?" Dracula asked his daughter as he spun her around.

"Oh, it is, Daddy," Mavis replied happily as she leaned her head on his chest. "Except where's Grandpa Vlad, Uncle Gene, Aunt Lydia, or even Klaus?"

"Honey, they would not have been cool with this, they're old school," Dracula told her.

"How do we know?" Mavis questioned as Dracula stepped back and spun her, "If they could just meet Johnny..."

"They would've eaten him. They're not as enlightened as your hip daddy." Dracula told Mavis.

"So, you're really okay with him not being a monster?" Mavis asked a little worried.

"Human, monster, unicorn. As long as you are happy." Dracula lovingly touched her chin angling her face towards him.

"Thanks, Dad." Mavis smiled.

The lights in the crystal chandelier illuminated brightly as father and daughter gazed into each other's eyes happily.

Dracula gave his wedding present to Mavis and Johnny. A song he played for them, but mostly for Mavis, on his old ukulele. The tune was a bit similar to the one he sang to her as a little girl so many years ago.

...and you'll always be my moonlight,

but now on wings of love you soar,

now that you're Johnny's girl, Johnny's girl, and kind of Daddy's too,

your Mom would be so happy cause she always knew,

love is making room for all the best in you.

Everyone started applauding and teared up at Dracula's heart-touching song while Mavis and Johnny lovingly gazed at each other. Kelsey got so choked in tears that she wrapped her tentacle arms around a surprised Kent and began kissing him. Hank started wailing on an annoyed Pedro's shoulder. Wanda wiped away her own tears of happiness.

After Dracula's song ended, Johnny also decided to sing something for Mavis for their wedding night.

Mavis stood in front of the dance floor while Johnny headed up on stage holding his guitar.

"Alright, sweetie. What are you up to this time?" Mavis smirked and crossed her arms at whatever her husband has planned. The song that Johnny prepared was "Water into Wine" by Window to the Abbey (Troy Baker).

"Here we go!" Johnny started playing his guitar while tapping his feet as the the background music started to play.

She shuffles her feet

As she crosses down the street

And she stares about the line

Which she follow with her mind

As Johnny sings, the room dimmed a bit dark as the purple spotlights shines around the room. Everyone were mesmerized at the beautiful lights until it focused on Mavis, giving all of the guests' attention to the special lady.

And she does this every time

In her ordinary life

To match the reason with the rhyme

(And) she does it every time

She turns water into wine

Mavis couldn't help it but just to smile at her husband singing for her and also loved Johnny's silky voice as he sings. Johnny smiled back and winked at Mavis.

She seems so discreet

As she makes my body weak

Mm-mm

And she gives a wink and smile

Laughing inside all the while

And she does it all with style

In her ordinary life

To match the reason with the rhyme

(And) she does it every time

She turns water into wine

Johnny walked down from the stage still playing his guitar as the music keeps going. He walked towards Mavis smiling at her as the purple spotlight focused on the young couple.

All of the guests left out an "Aww" in affection from watching at Mavis and Johnny's love for one another. As the song was about to end, Johnny stared at Mavis while finishing the song with his gentle voice.

She turns water into wine

She turns water into wine

She turns

She turns water

She turns

Mavis walked over to Johnny and kissed him passionately wrapping her arms around his neck while Johnny kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her waist. The guests cheered once again for the newly weds and for their new chapter ahead together.

"I love you so much, my Johnnystein." Mavis giggled.

"I love you too, my Mavy-Wavy." Johnny smiled mesmerized by her blue eyes.

The wedding reception was nearing its end and everyone then gathered to take pictures together. First it was Johnny, Hank, Pedro, Blobby, Brett and Kent as groomsmen. Second was Mavis, Wendy, Sophie, Charlotte, Kelsey, and Melly as bridesmaids, but Mavis didn't show up in the picture due to being a vampire. The third was Dracula, Mavis, Johnny, Brett, Kent, Melly, and Alfred all together as a family but just like the second picture, Dracula and Mavis didn't appear in the picture.

"Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Loughran!" The Loughrans cheered in celebration as they all hugged the newly weds.

"Welcome to the family, Mavis!" Alfred said as he gave Mavis a fatherly hug.

"Thank you, Al." Mavis said returning the hug to Alfred. "Thank you so much for letting me to be a part of your family." Mavis said proudly and warmly smiled at her new family.

"Of course, Mavis. You've just made Johnny the luckiest man in the world!" Melly said as she gave her new sister-in-law another comforting hug.

"If you ever need anything, we're all here for you, sis." Brett reassured smiling at Mavis, who smiled back at the Loughrans one more time feeling that she was being welcomed and loved.

Meanwhile, Johnny held his arms wide for Dracula and then squeezed him so tight.

"I really love you guys! You're all my family! Love you, Drac!" Johnny moaned with his goofy grin still hugging his new father-in-law tightly.

"Yes. I love you too!" Dracula responded with an awkward smile while everyone shared some laughs and giggles watching the cute yet funny interaction between Dracula and Johnny.

"Is this mean I can call you daddy?" Johnny asked widely smiling at Dracula.

"Don't push it, kid." Dracula warned sternly making Johnny laugh nervously while Mavis just glared at her father's behavior.

Hank, Pedro, Wendy, Sophie, and Charlotte quickly ran towards at Mavis and Johnny to congratulate them.

"Congratulations, Mavis and Johnny! We're so happy for the both of you!" Sophie said as their friends hugged the newlyweds so tight.

"Thanks guys. Can you lighten the hug? You're squeezing us over here." Johnny blurted as he was being squeezed by Mavis' friends' big hug.

"Oops, sorry." Hank, Pedro, Wendy, Sophie, and Wendy loosened the hug as Johnny catches his breath.

"Well would you look at this, Johnny Loughran is now part of the Dracula family. Congrats, bro!" Pedro said as he puts his arms around Johnny's shoulder.

"Thanks, Pedro. But I'm not exactly part of the Dracula family. I'm human, remember?" Johnny chuckled and grinned at the mummy.

"Don't worry. You'll fit in just fine, but you better be careful whenever you're around Mavis' aunt, Lydia. She's really strict on us before you came along." Hank whispered through Johnny's ear.

"I've heard that before but I'll take note on that." Johnny nodded while letting Mavis and her girlfriends to have some time to talk.

"We're so very happy for you, Mavis! I can't believe that my best friend is married!" Wendy happily said while her voice was slowly breaking and tears were coming out from her eyes "I... I think I'm gonna cry." Wendy cried and quickly hugged Mavis.

"Aww... it's okay, Wendy. You don't have to cry." Mavis warmly smiled at her blob friend and hugged her back. Sophie and Charlotte also breaks down into tears and joined the hug with their two friends.

"We're still hanging out, right?" Charlotte asked while she was still shedding some tears.

"Of course. This doesn't change anything in our friendship." Mavis reassured her friends to cheer them up.

"Group hug!" Hank called out as everyone gathered for another hug except this time it wasn't that much tight.

As the time passed by, most of the hotel guests went back to their respective room to get some rest after attending the big party. Dracula, Mavis, and Johnny were one of the only few people who were left in the room.

Dracula couldn't stop starring at the young couple and smiled seeing how happy they are together now that they are officially husband and wife. Johnny leaned in for a passionate kiss from Mavis as she kissed him back.

"I love you, Mavis Dracula-Loughran." Johnny said looking into Mavis's deep blue eyes as he rested his forehead on hers.

"And I love you too, Johnny-stein Loughran." Mavis playfully said as she gently held hands on Johnny's cheeks. "So what now?"

"Right now, all I wanted to do is to spend my time with my lovely wife." Johnny replied softly while they shared another deep passionate kiss. This was the start of a new chapter of their lives together.

To be continued...
