The whole base was in a commotion. Alarms were blaring over the shouts and commands from soldiers and generals alike. And it wasn't just Kaido causing this either. Over the horizon, Toma with her enchanced sight spotted an army marching toward the rebel base near the center of town.

"Admiral Sano!" Touma shouted, her voice barely audible amongst the chaos. The admiral looking up at her, motioning to continue.

"An army of roughly 1000 individuals is charging forward from the west side of the city, sir!" She shouted in desperation. The admiral's eyes widened, as he grabbed a hold of the communication outlet that connected the base.

His voice rang out, "Listen soldiers! Strap on your gear and prepare for a battle! An army of roughly 1000 soldiers is marching in west side. Our goal is to minimize damage to the city. Stay safe out there!"

While this was happening, Kaido was raining down blast breaths on the city square. The sheer destruction being caused was taking thousands of lives. Various projectiles flew at Kaido, him being unaffected due to how weak they are. Then, a huge fireball almost the size of Kaido came hurling at him from below.

He dodged and weaved around it, only his tail being scorched into unused. A man stepped forward, hovering in the air. He had an orange hat with two faces on it. He wore not shirt, on said chest was visible the mark of the rebellion. It was a sword on fire being carried by an eagle. This was Fire Fist Ace.

Ace and Kaido began to clash, slowly being driven outside of the city. Fire illuminated the sky whether from a stray blast breath or from a torrent of bright, orange flames. By the time the base got mobilized, they were already outside city walls.

The base was now deserted, not a single soul being visible. The entire occupancy had gone out to fight. Around 100 jeeps with 4 people per were racing toward the advancing army.

When they finally made it to the west side walls of the city, they saw it. The imposing force of the Italian army standing before them. Both sides were quiet, no one making a move. That was, until they started charging. The Japanese Army following suite as they clashed.

Izuku was on the right side of it, coated in a bright yellow light. He had dual tantos in hand as he rushed forward into the fray. Instantly, a guy coated in scales met him.

"If it isn't just a brat. Why don't you scurry away and go back to your parents. A child shouldn't be here."

Izuku paid the taunt no mind as he charged, the other man doing the same. Izuku dodged a swing from the man, his spiked club sailing over his head. He tried to pierce the man's leg, but he jumped back, avoiding it.

Both jumped back as what looks like a cannonball split the two. They immediately dashed at each other again.

Izuku used his light to appear at the man's back, his sword stabbing right through his chest. A scream echoed as he collapsed.

Izuku froze. The world seemed to be silent as it passed by all around him. The only sound was the enemy's screams that would haunt his soul forever. His lifeless eyes held wide open in shock and pain.

The only thing that shook Izuku out of it was a dart made from earth being hurled his way. His body turned to light as it passed through him. Izuku slapped himself and he was back in it. he could think later. He needed to live.

He saw another man charging at him, his fist coated in earth. The man took a swing at him, that fist hitting only light as Izuku went through it. He quickly countered by slashing at the man's throat. The man's throat suddenly turned into earth and deflected it.

An arm made of rock rose from the dirt, trying to knock away Izuku. Izuku jumped over it, his foot being caught as he was tossed into another Italian soldier. They crashed down as Izuku, realizing who he was on top of, teleported backwards with light.

Izuku channeled light into his feet as he jumped higher and higher in the air, his hands put in a triangle formation.

From his hands, hundreds of light particles launched, causing mini explosions on impact. Only 50 people actually died from that assult, however. A cannonball hurled at him from the ground below, almost hitting him as he teleported back to the ground. When he landed, he saw a cutlass crackling with lightning being swung at him.

He teleported back, avoiding it. Izuku was slightly panting as his opponent stepped forward. Two lightning cutlasses were gripped in his hands. He stood at 7 feet tall, bulky with muscle. He had spikey, black hair with a droopy mustache.

The man slashed the air with his cutlass, a slash of lightning heading toward Izuku. He jumped and twisted sideways, one going under him as the other went over.

The man kept swinging as slash after slash was heading toward him. Izuku put his hands in a circle formation as a massive beam of light cut through the slashes and cut a hole in the man. Behind the man, over 16 other people were killed by that beam.

Izuku dropped to a knee as he dashed back. He didn't notice as a bullet nailed the back of his leg, sending him to the ground. Izuku used the last of his energy to teleport back to the medical tent, passing out with blood pooling from his leg.

Elsewhere, Touma and Haru were tag teaming the soldiers, having already killed a few of them. Slash after slash. Punch after punch. Haru created a shield of reflect around them as they both went to work.

Moriko was in a sniper tower with her rifle, shooting the more problematic people. Her bullets drilling holes in those unlucky enough to be caught by them. She saw Izuku fly into the air and unleashed a storm of particles.

That opening gave her enough time to shoot a few more people. Then, a bullet grazed by her head. She immediately ducked down, her gripping the rifle were shaking. The felt that shot graze past her hair. She looked up at the other man in the tower with her. Then, a bright beam of light enveloped him, dragging him out of the tower.

She shot back up to see her fellow sniper being impaled by a spear.

Her eyes watered as she was absolutely horrified. She ducked back down and began to mutter incoheriently. She didn't even notice and an object flew into her watch tower. A ticking sound alerted her to the object as an explosion enveloped the watch tower, killing Moriko.

With Aoki, he was at the front of the charge, in a 25x25 circle of demonic tree. Anyone trying to enter or nearby was being impaled and tossed aside. Another man with a wind quirk was next to him, sending enemies towards them. He also covered Aoki's back as they mowed down soldiers left and right.

These two continued for hours, Aoki panting and the other man on his knees.

The war raged on, eventually, Italy retreating back to regroup as Japan fell back next to the city walls.

Night turned to day as agony littered the camp. There were around 200 casualties with around 150 injured. Some had to be discharged from injuries, others from exhaustion, minor wounds, or quirk side effects.

Izuku woke up, being surrounded by Aoki, Haru, and Touma. He stretched his arms as he sat up. All three gave their attention to them as Aoki's faced cringed at the news he had to blow.

"Hey guys. Are you all alright? Where is Moriko?" He said.

Aoki's face took a somber expression, "Moriko is... Moriko... Moriko is dead."

Izuku felt the world crumble.

"What." He chocked out in a hoarse voice.

His body slumped back down, tears welling up in his eyes.

"N-No. She isn't dead. She just is... she j-just isn't here. She's p-probably g-going for a r-run or something. Yeah. That's it." Izuku denied the truth. He couldn't take if she was dead. He thought of her as a big sister to him.

"I'm so sorry." Haru said as they all hugged, tears spilling like waterfalls from them. The agony festered in Izuku, followed by grief. They sat like that for 20 minutes before breaking apart.

"W-Where is Shanks." Izuku said weakly, not wanting to hear.

"He is inside the city making a deal with Ace. Don't worry, he's fine." Aoki quickly said, not wanting to hurt Izuku even more.

"Can I have some alone time. Please." Izuku's voice was cracking. His eyes still held tears.

They nodded and left. Izuku just laid there, thinking about Moriko.

Flashback.

Izuku was running through an artic tundra-like environment, cold as can be. Icicles were practically hanging off of his hair. Behind him was Aoki, Moriko, Touma, and Haru. Suddenly, Izuku collapsed, his muscles too cold to even move.

Might I remind you that they had to do this in a long sleeve shirt and some pants. The temperature was currently around -20 Fahrenheit.

Moriko stood next to him, rolling him face up. her hands glowed as microwaves began to heat up Izuku from the inside. It wasn't to dangerous levels, just enough to warm him up.

Life seemed to return to his eyes as he stood up and kept running.

"Thanks Moriko. I might have died if you didn't." Izuku said jokingly.

Moriko smiled and said, "No problem Izuku."

Another flashback.

It was dodging exercise day. What a shitty name Shanks came up with. It was basically where he through Haki-infused rubber balls at us. Those balls hurt like being hit by a car, they were not fun at all.

Izuku ducked and weaved, when he saw next to him Moriko beginning to tire. Then a ball as aimed on her trajectory. His legs moved as he took the hit for her, being slammed back into the dojo wall.

"Oh my gosh! Are you ok!" She shouted as she rushed over to him. Shanks stopped throwing to run over to check on him.

He groaned and smiled weakly, "Yeah, don't worry about it. I'm all good"

Back to present time

The nurse came to check on Izuku, only to find an empty bed.

Izuku ran into the forest, tears creating a trail behind him. just as he reached the edge, he fell down. Before hitting the ground, he was caught by Shanks.

"Easy kiddo. Your still hurt." Shanks said in a soothing voice.

Izuku looked up to see Shanks gently setting him down.

"Listen I kn-"

"What do you know! Why was she even supposed to be here! Why can't she have just stayed home! She didn't have to die!" Izuku berated Shanks, tears falling from his eyes.

Shanks took in the info and gave a sad smile.

"Because its what she wanted. She wouldn't want you to be sad like this. You got to move forward. You can by letting us help you. We lost her too." Shanks comforted.

"What would you know about it!" Izuku yelled, thinking Shanks never knew what if felt to lose a sibling.

"Because I lost someone too. His name was Monkey D. Luffy. he was like a little brother to me. Sadly, he died fighting in the revolution along side Ace. He died by a blast breath from Kaido right in front of Ace. I found out by a call. That's why I am wearing this straw hat now instead of Luffy." Shanks said in a sorrowful tone.

Izuku stared at him, understanding what he said wrong.

"I'm so sorry. It's just-"

"Don't apologize. You're experiencing grief so it's ok to let it out. Now let's get back to camp."

Both walked back, Izuku feeling just a bit better about losing Moriko.

Along the way, Izuku muttered low enough where Shanks couldn't even hear, "May you rest in piece"

Thanks for reading. I may not be able to get these stories up in quick succession, but I will try to make one every 3 days to a week. Comment feedback or things you might want to see. Also comment a one piece character that you might want to be in the story so I can base a character around him. Let me know in the comments if you want a quirk profile on anyone I mentioned and I can explain for you. Have a good day.
