2:20am Paris

"Where are we going?" McG, the medic of the team had ended up behind the wheel of the car.

"Just drive. We need to regroup." Dalton pulled out his phone and dialed Patricia, "What do we do?" he asked when she picked up the phone.

"The embassy is aware you are in town and you can head there." She told them, "They can take care of your rental car and provide you with any equipment you need."

"Any leads on finding her family?" He wanted to know.

"Nothing. Hampton has gone radio silent. CIA still arguing with me about his loyalties."

"I want to stick it to Hampton. He played us and made us look like fools." Dalton revealed.

"But what can we do?" Patricia objected.

"Preach cloned her phone, maybe that will get Noah and Hannah some leads."

Patricia waved over the technician and Dalton passed the phone to Preach. He gave them the phone number and other identifiers so America could start working.

"Yvette doesn't want our help." Jaz reminded.

"But that doesn't mean she doesn't need help. Her boss didn't seem very helpful." Dalton pointed out.

"That could have been a show for our benefit." Amir shrugged.

"True." Dalton glanced out of the vehicle at the passing buildings.

Preach finished with Noah who gave the phone to Patricia and Preach handed the phone back to Dalton, "She needs to talk to you."

Dalton accepted the phone, "I'm here."

"Get in the Embassy and use their secure line to call us and we can plan something. In the meantime, we will see what we can do with her phone." Patricia told him, "How is Yvette doing?"

"It appears her country wants her to back off of the kidnapping. But it could be acting."

"What do you think?" Patricia wondered.

"Hampton has her niece; she's not going to walk away especially after he killed her sister." Dalton knew family ties were strong.

"Hampton will have eyes and ears everywhere—including the embassy—so watch yourself." The director advised.

"Understood." Dalton pocketed the phone before his communications specialist spoke up.

"We need to be careful, this is beginning to get personal for everyone and emotions can make us screw up." Preach warned.

At the embassy, they were met by security forces who checked their passports closely. It took a while but the team got set up in the secure communications room and called the DIA in America.

"We've got some news." Noah jumped right into what they found, "With the phone hacking you did, we were able to backtracked the calls made by that number. Intelligence had some flagged recorded phone calls due to the content but hadn't reviewed them yet. The CIA kind of helped with this so think what you want." Noah settled in front of the camera, "Remember this is in French that we had to translate so the grammar or exact word usage could be off."

"We know, go on." Dalton gathered everyone around the computer.

"This is after Hampton called you and you all were on the plane heading to Paris." Noah picked up the printed pages and began reading, "Yvette starts with 'what do we know.' A male voice responds, "We got the flight records, it's not good."

"How bad?"

"Special forces are on the plane."

"Who?" Yvette asks.

"Jasmine Khan."

"Espionage royalty." Yvette sighed.

"She's often spotted with US Captain Adam Dalton and he's on the flight in the row in front of her." The man told her.

"They work with a team, spotted anyone else on the flight?"

"Amir Al-Raisani." Noah read the name and looked up at the video screen.

Dalton turned at Amir.

"She knew who I was before meeting us at the restaurant?" Amir was floored.

"She's intelligence, must have looked you up after you met in Africa." Noah suggested.

"But her reaction when we arrived felt real." Amir recalled.

"I agree." Dalton wasn't sure what to say, "But she is a spy."

"Apparently a good one." Preach added.

"If she's such a good liar, can we trust anything she has said?" Jaz wondered.

"This appears to be a phone call where she thought she was safe." Patricia pointed out from behind Noah, "I think we can believe she is telling the truth—be skeptical, certainly, but I'd lean on it being real."

Noah continued reading, "Amir, she repeated your name and the other guy agreed, "Yes." Then there's a gap of 4.6 seconds then Yvette swears then states, "He wants me to kill them."

"Who?" The male responds.

"Hampton thinks I'll kill Amir."

"Why?"

"Because of what happened in Africa."

The man signs, "Can you control him?"

"As Hamid, no, he was a tough operative and not going to listen to a woman." She sighed, "But knowing he is an American maybe I can push a few button and figure out what is going on."

"What about Captain Dalton? Would Hampton have briefed him on the truth?" The man asked.

"He's skilled but not Hampton's level."

"Are you sure?"

"He's impulsive and that can make him seem reckless, but protects his team and there's not a lot he won't try." Yvette told him, "He'd definitely shoot me if he thought I was a threat."

"We could arrest them when they arrive at the airport." The man suggested.

"That will put them on guard and we won't get anything out of them in an interview. And once the Embassy gets involved it would be over and they'd be sent out of the country."

"We need to know what the plans are."

"I can string them along to see what they know."

"They could kill you as soon as they arrive." The male voice reminded her.

Noah swallowed, "There's a 2 second gap here, then she says, "I'll wear a tracker and heart monitor and you can watch everything that is going on. If they kill me, you arrest them. With a murder charge on them the embassy will have problems getting them released and you can question them about Jen and Amanda. Set up the safe house. If they act like they're trying to help, I'll take them there and try to find out what they know."

"That's dangerous, you would be outnumbered if things went wrong."

"I'd risk more than this to save my family. Yvette retorted." Noah set the pages down, "Then she hangs up."

Patricia chewed on her glasses, "So she's more calculating than we thought."

"But that answers some questions." Dalton pointed out, "If Hampton was setting us up and she knew it, why would she meet us? At least this is an answer, she thought she would get the truth from us." He focused on their task, "How are we doing on the calls she received and sent?"

"Two phone calls after you left her and a text. French translator said it was all very innocent about weather and shopping so it's probably in some kind of code." Noah admitted, "But it was her voice on the call and she did give an address."

"Have we identified the other voices on any of the calls?"

"No. Two separate voices, neither are Hampton so obviously he has help."

"Any leads on who? What about the airport travelers? She said they were a part of it." Jaz wondered.

"Still working on that."

"What about the address on the call?" Preach wondered.

"It's a shopping center." Noah had the map up on one screen.

"There's also a time listed, 10am." Hannah pointed out.

"That's got to be the meeting place." McG said what everyone was thinking.

"Exactly."

Dalton swallowed, "What are the rules of engagement?"

Patricia had already been thinking on this. "Protect your team but no shooting anyone without an immediate threat or I order it."
