Glancing over to the clock, 10 AM.
Shaymin: We have all day to discover this place I guess. Are you sure it's a good idea to split up?
Shock, who was on the phone just shrugged and quickly said it would be fine before returning to his call. I then looked at Sky who shrugged as well.
Sky: Eh, we can team up again if that makes you feel better.
This caught Cloud's attention and shook her head before getting up.
Cloud: Screw that. I'm gonna leave before you force someone with me.
She left quickly upon picking up her bag.
Shaymin: Uh… I guess I don't mind teaming up with you then.
Sky: Fine with me. Just give me a moment then we'll be off.
He returned to stuffing his pack with all sorts of random stuff. Scorch looked over at us.
Scorch: I'll be checking out the nearby shops and all. So if you need anything, I'll be around there.
One by one, everyone left. It was soon only three with Shock still talking over the phone. I didn't really bother learning who Shock was speaking to as Sky got up and told me that we should get going.
Grabbing my own bag, we walked out and down into the streets to search around some more.
Sky: Now, if we are stuck here for about four or five days, we should find something fun or interesting to do.
Shaymin: Like what?
Sky: Mount Midnight.
Tilting my head, he continued and pointed to a distant mountain.
Sky: You should know of it. It's a place that is controlled by a dark legendary.
Shaymin: Um… No… I have no idea.
Sky: Huh, strange then. While out, I overheard a few speak of it, so it sounded like an interesting journey. Not sure if it is true, but I heard there is some kind of… Treasure. For those willing to seek it out.
Shaymin: Guess with that name and this legendary… Others won't go?
Sky: That's the thing. I heard that it's a hot spot for disappearances. I'm not worry though.
Shaymin: Because you are an Absol…?
Sky: Yeah. When… I used to live in my home region… We were sorta taught to live in darkness and constant misty weather.
He looked down and shook his head.
Sky: Our island… It was thousands of years in the making.
He sat down and told me to sit. I did so.
Sky: I was told stories when I was young… The most famous that I enjoyed was how our home region was created.
Sky held his amulet and continued.
Sky: Thousands of years ago, a war broke out. Locations across the world attempted to take over other territories, towns, cities, and more. The war was ran by two factions and they tried taking over to drive the other out. I was told that Absol's were already in short numbers, but that didn't stop them from taking sides. However, one such Absol, Thua… A black furred Absol, decided to lead a group of our kind away from all the destruction and death… At least the ones willing to do so. They floated over the ocean for quite some time before reaching an island that would be the home to us… From what I was told, it was completely untouched, fully claimed by nature. Thua was the strongest leader the small group of Absol's had… Wielding a large battleaxe and having been in a few battles, often outlasting his companions. He had enough of all the death and loss of loyal members, so that's what caused him to leave it behind and claim the island for them.
He looked down and sighed.
Sky: He lead the small group into the mysterious island which was cloaked in a mist which the sun couldn't pierce. That's when he knew it would be a perfect place for them and they began building… I was born the night that Thua claimed the island all that time ago. I remember his battleaxe rested, stuck into the largest tree of our island. A tree with an unusual energy around it… Nothing could dent the thing other then that axe… And it remained there for all those years, having been maintained through generations… I still wonder if it's there today…
I looked at him and nodded. He seemed pretty pained discussing it. I knew his kind was hard to come by. Even harder now. So it must be pretty painful for him to lose everything. I feel like he thinks he's one of the only Absol's left. They've became so rare throughout the last five years.
Sky: A- anyway… I guess we should get going…
He got up as so did I. He inhaled and looked down.
Sky: Kinda feel better talking about it… So thanks for listening…
He then fell silent and walked off. I followed behind him, giving him some distance. He kept silent for the entire walk. When we reached the location, he looked around and turned to face me.
Sky: Yeah… This is the place.
The path ahead was already covered in darkness.
Sky: Maybe find some interesting stuff, hmm…?
Shaymin: Um… How are we gonna see?
Sky: I can make my way through the dark. Sorta a skill you needed to learn where I came from, so… Keep close to me.
I nodded as Sky started walking into the darkness. I followed and it quickly became very dark. The darkness was so much that I could barely see a few feet in front of me. I was nearly blind, but Sky held my arm and lead me through it.
Sky: This place reminds me of Midnight Cliff.
Shaymin: I think I heard of it…
Sky: Yeah, it was around this small town. It's beautiful when on the peak, however, down below, is a cave. It's like a grotto. I've visited it before… It was nice.
Shaymin: Maybe we can visit there then… It sounds like a place I would like.
Sky: I am sure you'd enjoy it. Deep within, there was a large underground lake that glows blue.
Shaymin: H- huh…
Sky: Anyways, I can't wait to get back to Hexa. I don't mind it here, but eh…
I agreed and continued walking with him. We walked for a few more minutes before we finally saw light. When we got close to it, I noticed it was a torch.
Shaymin: Huh… At least we can finally see somewhat.
Sky: Yeah. I think I heard that this means we are close to the top.
Shaymin: Already? Thought it'd be way higher up.
He nodded as we continued upwards.

Glowing Sea Island
Mew and I walked off the boat upon reaching her home. I've been here a few times, but since it was on an island, at least two hours from mainland, it was kinda tough. It was always really nice though. Her house was like a beach house. A large house that is like 85% windows for some reason. I didn't really mind though.
Mew collected a few bags and walked onto the pier. She lead me up to her house. When we reached the front door, she wrapped her tail around a key and put it into the lock before twisting and unlocking it. Upon opening the door, she walked in and placed the bags in the kitchen.
Mew: Thanks for coming with me. It's always nice having visitors.
Shaymin: Of course.
Mew: I know that you're thinking why I don't move somewhere more populated. Well… I just like it here. It's quite beautiful and gives me a lot of time to think and work on stuff, heh. Visitors are quite welcomed though still.
Shaymin: W- wouldn't mind living here though… The ocean here gives off a faint blue glow and it just feels really peaceful.
Mew: Heh… Those are the blue calishrooms. They grow around these parts in warm water. They are perfect for cooking ingredients too.
Shaymin: Um…
Mew: The skin of it has a strange blueberry flavor to it. This makes it a common resource for hard candy.
Shaymin: H- huh…
Mew: You know I like cooking. Maybe I can attempt to make some for you.
Nodding, she just smiled and walked into the kitchen to put away the items she had brought. While she did this, I just walked off and sat down to wait for her. She hummed and after a few minutes, she walked out and turned on the TV.
Mew: I didn't really expect the day to fly by. I doubt you'd want to travel back in the dead of night too. So if you want, you can sleep over tonight.
I agreed since I didn't really want to take a two hour boat journey again. By the time of getting home, it will be sunrise again, so I decided to stay.
Mew smiled at this and jumped onto me. She wrapped her tail around me and just snuggled up against me. I smiled and gently hugged her as we watched random shows.
Current Day
Mount Midnight Peak
1:30 PM
We reached the top and it honestly looked nice. It overlooked Aurora City. The distance which you can see was quite surprising when it is a clear day. You could see miles ahead.
I walked up to the edge and looked down. It was quite a drop as I slowly backed up to just enjoy the view. That's when I looked North to notice a very far away city. The only reason I could see it was the three insanely tall skyscrapers. Even taller then the buildings in Aurora.
Shaymin: Huh… Look over there. What is that?
Sky: No idea. Though it does look interesting.
Sky walked up to the edge and looked around.
Sky: I see some farmland. Other then that, it looks like a flat landscape.
Shaymin: Nice place to live though.
Sky: Yeah. Anyways, I wonder what the others are doing.
I just shrugged and enjoyed the view some more. We stood there for a few minutes before Sky spoke.
Sky: We should check out that city in the distance. What do you say?
Shaymin: Sure, sounds kinda fun.
He nodded as I got on Sky. He launched himself off the cliff and began flying as I held on. We flew for about twenty minutes before reaching the distance city. When it started coming into view, it looked massive. It had to be slightly bigger than Aurora. When we landed, we started looking around.
Sky: Huh. Well, lets get going, hmm?
Shaymin: Okay.
Sky started to walk down the street. I followed as we explored this city. Unlike Aurora, it was more industrial. Large buildings like factories and all. There was still a residential area, but it was more focused on this.
Sky: Jeez. Such a large oil rig.
Looking at what he was speaking of, I noticed a large oil field. Large machines, I guess some sort of piston was just mining for it.
Shaymin: Huh… This place is kinda cool looking though… Like a steampunk feel.
He agreed as we continued walking. Luckily, we exited this section of the city. We then entered a much nicer area where we started finally seeing others walking around.
Sky: Now this is much better.
Nodding, we started walking down the street to explore more. However, we were stopped by a shady looking Lucario dressed in black with a black mask. We only saw his eyes as he walked up to us. He didn't speak, but we both felt his eyes on us as he walked by. Once that was over, I looked very confused and a bit nervous. I looked over to Sky as he shook his head and shrugged.
Sky: Not the friendliness place I guess.
Shaymin: Uh, yeah…
Sky: Oh well.
That's when I got a call from Scorch. I accepted.
Scorch: Hey, where are you two? There's something you need to see! We'll be at the park.
He then ended up call suddenly and I looked even more confused.
Shaymin: Um… Guess we should head there.
Sky: Eh, sounds good to me.
Getting back on Sky, we made our way back to Aurora...
