Twenty minutes later and we were at the end of our journey. We were standing near the edge where the water fell into this pit. Shock was checking this out with his arms crossed.

Shock: Hmm… I wonder if there is a way down there. Looks very deep…

Scorch: Might need some gear to do so. Maybe some rope.

Shock: Yeah. But we don't have any of that. The stuff I packed on the ship was lost during that storm…

Scorch: Sucks. Well, err… We should head back for now. Maybe return later?

Shock: Yeah, sure.

Shock turned back and stared at us.

Shock: Lets head back, shall we?

He started to walk back as I looked at Scorch. Scorch didn't look uneasy anymore as he walked by me and told me to follow. I followed behind him as we made our way back.

After reaching the bunker, we made our way through it and once we were on the surface, Shock turned to face us.

Shock: Not a bad place. There is nothing like that near Hexa.

Scorch: Interesting that it lead into a cave system. Quite a big one too… I actually really want to see what's at the bottom of that pit.

Shock shrugged and shook his head.

Shock: Maybe we can before heading back home. Did Nira contact you yet?

He turned to face me.

Shaymin: Uh, not yet.

Shock: Damn. Lets hope he gets here soon.

Nodding, he looked back.

Shock: Lets get back to our boat.

Shock walked to the beach as we followed. After reaching it, we got in and traveled back to the city.

When we arrived back to the city a bit later, we got off as Shock stretched.

Shock: Well, that was an interesting place… But I should go find the others now.

Scorch: I guess I'll help. Know where Ember will be? Hopefully he didn't get lost.

Shock: Eh, I think I know some places.

He started walking down the docks as Scorch walked behind him.

Shaymin: Uh… G- guess I'll be around then…

The two walked off and left me standing there.

Shaymin: Okay… What to do now…?

Looking around, I was completely alone. Storm clouds rolled in over the ocean as I sighed. This place was so wet. Just constant rain. I didn't really want to be drenched, so I started making my way to shelter.

The first area I encountered was the library that Sky and I visited. It started to drizzle, so I walked in. I somewhat planned on reading some books to pass the time. To my surprise however, I saw Sky. I didn't expect to see him here still as he just spoke with a group of Pokemon. This changed when he noticed me as he got up and walked up to me.

Sky: There you are. You kinda disappeared, so I decided to hang around here.

Shaymin: Yeah, um… I went on a small adventure with Shock and Scorch.

Sky: Hmm? Rather spend time with me?

Shaymin: Uh…

Sky: Heh… It's all good. So what do you wanna do?

Shaymin: Not really sure… It started to rain, so I wanted to find somewhere dry. And, err… Since this is a library, I decided to read or something.

Sky: Eh? Sounds fine with me.

He walked around to look at some books. I watched for a bit as he took a few books.

Sky sat down and started reading. I walked up to him and sat next to him.

Sky: I've been wanting to ask.

Looking at him, he continued.

Sky: Ever interacted with any other legendary or mythical?

Shaymin: Oh, um… N- not a big surprise that someone like me met others like Xerneas, Virizion, Moltres, Mew and Azelf.

Sky: Really? I wouldn't mind meeting Xerneas. I heard he is pretty laid back.

Shaymin: Been a while since I spoke to him… B- but yeah… He was pretty nice to be around. He actually helped me quite a lot.

Sky: Oh? Like…?

Shaymin: Uh… One is showing my affection towards Mew… I was always so nervous until he helped.

Sky: A Shaymin and a Mew? In a relationship? Jeez… That's new. Such a size difference.

Shaymin: Uh…

Sky: Heh, I'm just messing with you.

Nodding slowly, I looked down.

Shaymin: Sadly I hadn't seen her for like a year… Just… Vanished…

Sky: Hmm? I doubt a mythical could simply disappear.

Shaymin: It's hard to remember… I think… S- she came by my place… She told me she had business before leaving… I… Think?

Sighing, I shook my head.

Shaymin: I don't know… I'm just hoping she's okay…

Sky sat back and stretched out his wings.

Sky: I'm sure she's fine.

Sky looked towards a window as rain fell heavily. We then sat there for a bit in silence. That's when I heard my phone go off. I checked it and was surprised to see Nira calling. I answered quickly.

Shaymin: H- hello…?

Nira: Hey, after a rough journey, we finally managed to arrive. We're at the docks, so uh… Can you gather everyone? I'm not a big fan of wet fur.

Shaymin: Wait, y- your here? That's good to hear… I'll contact the others.

Nira: Sounds good. I'll be here.

Hanging up, I looked at Sky and told him what just happened. He jumped up and sighed.

Sky: Finally… This place is cool and all, but I rather not spend too long here.

Shaymin: Y- yeah… I'll contact the others and we'll head to the docks.

I quickly sent a message to everyone and after ten minutes, everyone was gathered in the building. Cloud didn't really seem interested like always. However, the others were quite happy to be getting home. So after chatting for a moment, we started heading to the docks to find a ship with Nira waiting under a small roof. He noticed us and sighed in relief before waving us over. We made our way to him as he smiled softly.

Nira: Hey, kinda nice to see you all again… Autumn is in the ship along with a few others. We… Should get inside.

Nira then lead us up a ramp and onto the ship. Nira opened a door that went into the ship. We followed as he took us to Autumn. Autumn was checking over some equipment when we entered the room. He looked at us and actually looked a bit worried.

Autumn: Thank Arceus. I was worried when you disappeared that day…

He sighed and crossed his arms.

Autumn: Part of the ocean near Hexa rains constantly almost. Every time it rains, anyone who is caught in it disappears. Ugh… I didn't expect this island to be in that zone. I'm just glad all of you are safe.

He turned back and turned on an engine.

Autumn: Lets just get home, alright?

Autumn walked past us and to the captains quarters as the ship started to move. We found places to sit down. I sat at a table as Mila walked up to me.

Mila: Going home, eh? Somewhat excited. Can't wait to sleep in my bed again.

Mila smiled and walked around.

Laying my head on the table, I did feel somewhat nice. After a few minutes, I closed my eyes and decided to get some sleep.

Somewhere In The Mountains

Shaymin: C- come on…

Reaching out, I attempted to collect some fruits as I sat on a branch high from the ground.

After a bit, I managed to take a hold of one, however the branch I was on snapped suddenly. I gave out a surprised gasp as I slammed into a few other branches before getting a good hold on one. I hung there as I sighed. I stood this way for a minute before climbing down slowly. I shivered and held my arm as it bled.

Shaymin: U- ugh…

I looked up and saw Azelf. He had his arms crossed as he chuckled.

Azelf: I was wondering where you went off to.

Shaymin: Sorry… I got tired of waiting and got hungry…

Azelf: My bad. I had some unfinished work. But it's done now. Here, come follow me.

I followed Azelf as he floated in front of me. He took me back to his camp and lowered to the ground. I looked around as his camp was full of electronics.

Shaymin: What's with all this tech?

Azelf: Ah, yeah… That was my unfinished work. I had to unpack all this… Don't mind it. I just need to research stuff around here. You know… Plants and fungus.

Shaymin: Oh… I forgot you were a researcher.

Azelf: Eh? Close friends mean nothing to you?

Shaymin: U- uh…

Azelf chuckled and waved me off.

Azelf: Don't worry about it. I don't tend to push my research on others. Hell, I don't normally let others see my research. Especially around my sisters. They always tease me for not following in their footsteps.

Azelf scoffed and shook his head.

Azelf: Anyway… Just don't mind all this stuff. You came here to spend time with me, right? Well, lets enjoy ourselves, eh?

He went over to a box and opened it to reveal some fireworks.

Azelf: I packed these for us. But that's not all.

I watched as he went over to an ice box. He opened it up and showed me a small cake.

Azelf: And this is for us. At least it's a lot better then one apple, hmm?

This is when I suddenly remembered. It was Azelf's birthday. I forgot just about.

Azelf: At least Mesprit was, err, kind enough to make this.

He looked at me and smiled softly.

Azelf: Lets eat. After that, I have some stuff I want to show you.

Nodding, he sat down and we started to enjoy the day.

Hexa's Beach

Shock: Shaymin? Come on. Wake up.

Opening my eyes, I looked up at Shock who stood over me.

Shock: We finally arrived.

Nodding, I stood up and stretched. Shock walked up the stairs and I followed a few seconds later. After leaving that room, I looked to the sky and it was pitch black. I didn't really expect it to take this long. However, I was glad to be home.

Autumn: Okay… We finally reached Hexa. Nearly midnight though… So you all should head home and get some sleep. We'll speak about your time away in the morning.

The others left the ship. I stopped half way when I noticed Autumn stopping Sky.

Autumn: You are… Sky? A mega Absol, huh? The guardian of Hexa. Damn… That's crazy. Bolt told me about you.

Sky: Uh, yeah… I kept this team safe…

Autumn: Is that so? Well, thanks… Those seas are ruthless. Losing an entire team would not be good on Hexa's reputation.

Autumn walked by him and stepped off the ship. I looked back at Sky as he shrugged. He walked up to me and placed a paw on my shoulder.

Sky: Back home. Well… You know…

Sky looked around.

Sky: I guess I'll head back to my shrine. It was a fun journey, even if it was short.

Shaymin: Uh… You sure? You could stay at our place…

Sky: No, no. It's fine. I'll head home.

I accepted this as he flew up and left. I got off the ship and walked down the beach. That's when I noticed Nira attempting to drag a box. He was clearly struggling as I walked up to him.

Nira: A- ah… You didn't abandon me, that's good… Can you help me with this? This thing weighs a ton…

Walking up, I took a grip of the box as we lifted it up. We slowly made our way back up to Hexa. After ten minutes, we had transported this box to the bar. We placed it down as we both panted gently.

Nira: Autumn said he would help. Guess not… Thanks.

Shaymin: S- sure.

We stood there as the bar's door opened to reveal Saz.

Saz: Well damn. I didn't expect to see either of you for a bit longer. But I'm glad you made it back.

Nira: Yeah. It wasn't a fun journey back, but at least we got back. How was business?

Saz: Eh, nothing new.

Saz looked at me.

Saz: Must be quite exhausted. Come in.

I followed him in as he gave me a slice of pie. He then pulled Nira to the side as the two spoke. Meanwhile, Alk pulled the large box inside. Alk placed it under the counter and looked at me.

Alk: Nice to see you again, mate. Exciting adventure?

Shaymin: Uh… Kinda. Rather be here, but err… It was sorta fun.

Alk: Eh, I wouldn't mind exploring around. But… Saz needs me here.

He shrugged and sat down.

Alk: Oh well. I'll let you eat.

He then began doing work. I ate in silence and once I finished, I got up and decided to head home. I gave farewells to the three and left.

When I got into the house, I walked to my room and laid in my bed. Sleeping in a chair for a few hours was not the greatest, so it felt very good laying in a soft and warm bed. I quickly fell asleep because of this.

The next morning came as I woke up and got ready for the day. However, I stopped by a small building which was a candy shop. I bought a few bags of different candies and took the small journey up to Sky's shrine.

Once I made it, I walked up to the shrine and looked around. I didn't see anything at first, but upon reaching the shrine, I saw Sky as he quickly landed next to it. He stared at me.

Sky: Still want to meet up? Did not expect that.

Shaymin: Well, um… I just wanted to give you this…

I pulled out the bags of candy. He tilted his head and took it.

Sky: Well, you know what I like the most, heh… Thanks.

He stashed them away and leaned against the shrine.

Sky: So… I've been thinking last night.

I looked at him as he stretched out his wings.

Sky: Your team seems sorta cool… I'm not a big fan of all this team building stuff… But… I guess I wouldn't mind a few adventures here and there. So, um, if you want to explore, I wouldn't mind following along.

Shaymin: Oh? I'll keep that in mind. It'd be fun.

Sky nodded and reached behind the shrine to pull out a book.

Sky: Well… I guess I'll catch up on some reading. Thanks for stopping by…

Sky smiled softly and walked into the trees behind his shrine. Turning back, I looked to the distance.

Shaymin: Well… Should get back to the others.

I began walking down the path and back to Hexa, ready to start the day...
