So, this one came out a lot faster then I thought it would, but as I was reading it I realized what this chapter is. Things start happening that sort of get the ball rolling for previous chapters. It doesn't really start until later, but it sort of starts a few things. The fighting is... very glossed over since I can't write fighting scenes, but I can see them in my head. So, you only really understand the results of the fighting. This is two episodes in one sort of since it also has a bit extra things in them. So, enjoy! (Unless you're waiting until tomorrow for when I post the next chapter that resolves the cliffhanger, then enjoy tomorrow!)

Warnings: If you don't want to end on a cliffhanger, wait until tomorrow to read this since I'll put the next chapter up then. Also, fighting, threats of hurting people. Fear. Someone willing to do anything to achieve their goal. Kidnapping.

Disclaimer: Don't own Pokemon and never will. Autumn is mine.

-Autumn's P.O.V.-

When the day after the school play came, I had already forgotten that I actually admitted how I truly felt in front of literally everyone about… well, everyone! No one even mentioned it as we took care of the backgrounds and put everything away. Well, not until after lunch time, "Hey, uh… Autumn?" Kiawe asked me nervously, "Did you mean what you said yesterday?"

I frowned, trying to remember, but I had just let everything out. Sylveon was the one to remind me, "You admitted how you really felt about him," She told me and my eyes widened.

My face was most likely red once more as I laughed nervously, "Well… yeah," I admitted, "I've been feeling that way for a long time, but I didn't think you were ready to hear it so I didn't say anything about it. Although it did take a while for me to realize how I felt, but when I did, I knew that I was in love with you and still am."

Kiawe stared for a moment, then smiled, "Oh, well. I'm glad," I looked at him confused until he continued, "Because I love you too."

Then Ash stepped between us, "Hold on! Before you say that you have to pass my test! I need to make sure you'll take care of Autumn!"

I hid my face in Winter's back as she cocked her head, "What is Ash doing?" Winter asked.

"Please Ash, don't," I mumbled, but he didn't hear me.

Kiawe just smiled, "Then I accept your challenge! What do I need to do?"

Riolu shook her head as my face heated up even more, "You know," Lillie told me, coming up to me, "He's just watching out for you."

"Yeah I know," I smiled slightly, but was still red from embarrassment, "Doesn't mean I'm not embarrassed."

Lillie chuckled, then whispered, "If you want, I can ask Gladion to give Ash the same talk."

"Please don't. That may scare him too much," Gladion didn't mess around with anything about his family. Especially his little sister and I just had a feeling that Ash would be terrified if Gladion gave Ash the 'big brother talk' as well.

"I've been keeping him from doing that, but I don't know how much longer I'll be able to," Lillie admitted.

I laughed, "They're our older brothers! They just want to make sure we're safe."

"Then let's have a Pokemon Battle!" Kiawe cried out.

"Right now!" Ash agreed.

How did that happen? "No Pokemon Battles until everything is cleaned up," I countered them.

"But Autumn!"

"Please!? Just one battle!"

"No," I pointed at them, "You both need to help clean up like everyone else. Even your Pokemon are helping!"

True enough, all the Pokemon were cleaning the floor and moving the things they could out of the way. Both of them groaned, "Fine!" And slowly started to clean.

Then, "Wanna see who can clean the fastest?" Ash asked.

"You're on!" Kiawe accepted and they were off.

I stared at them as Lillie smiled, "I guess that's one way to get them to clean up."

"True," I couldn't argue with that and we both continued cleaning.

It didn't take as long as we thought it would and the rest of the day passed semi-smoothly if the Pokemon Battle didn't nearly destroy the school and was called off. Although they both promised to pick it up later. The next day actually went by great as well! No mishaps or anything until the end of the day when we were all getting ready to leave and Lana was the only one still sitting at her desk, "Hey! You alright?" Mallow asked Lana, gaining everyone's attention.

"Huh?" Lana finally moved, "Sorry. Yesterday when I got home, the twins came up to me and told me they wanted to go to the haunted house," She interrupted herself with a yawn, "I need sleep," She admitted, then continued, "All they kept saying was haunted house, haunted house, haunted house…"

"I can imagine," Kiawe said, probably the only one who could know what it was like for Lana right now.

Lana just sighed and continued, "They must have seen it watching TV."

Then Ash suggested, "Then we should go see it together."

"That would be so much fun, but…" Lillie started.

"Never heard of a haunted house in Alola," Sophocles admitted.

"What?" Popplio gained my attention as we all slowly looked at the door.

Especially when a voice asked, "Where are you going, Mimikins? Huh?" A girl with purple hair, eyes and a dress that sort looked like it was pieced together with scraps, but not at the same time.

Of course, Ash recognized her, "Acerola! Alola!" He greeted her.

"Alola, Ash!" She waved, "How are you?"

Instead of answering, he went to stand next to her, "Hey, guys!" And went straight to introductions, "This is my friend from Ula'ula Island."

"My name is Acerola. It's nice to meet you," She smiled. One by one, we introduced ourselves to her so she knew our names. When we were done, she explained why she was here, "I was asked to deliver a book here. Our library has quite a lot of unusual materials," She admitted.

Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, Lillie and Kiawe were staring at her Mimikyu as it floated past them, "Hey," Ash asked, curious, "Is something wrong?"

"Mimikyu don't usually fly Ash," I told him.

"It's a different color than Team Rocket's Mimikyu," Sophocles observes.

"Oh, yeah," Ash smiled sheepishly, "That's because…"

"My Mimikins is a ghost," Acerola finished.

All of us gasped in shock, "A ghost?!" Sophocles asked in shock.

"I thought it was just using telekinesis or levitation!" I admitted.

That's when Togedomaru, being herself, jumped on Mimikins to give her a hug, but sort of… squished her. The others looked at it in fear as I just turned away, "What did we just see?" Kiawe asked as Mimikins went back into her casing and flew back to Acerola's side.

Sophocles was scared by it, "No idea," He still answered Kiawe.

"Hey, Acerola, isn't there a haunted house where you live?" Ash was thinking about what we were talking about before she got here, "Lana's little sisters really wanna go."

Lana nodded as Acerola just continued to smile, "Not a one," She admitted.

Ash just pouted slightly, "Yeah, I should've known."

"So what?" She asked, "Why don't we just make one?"

"Oh," All of us straightened at the new idea.

"Never even thought of that," Kiawe admitted what all of us were thinking.

"We'll do it here!" Principal Oak called out as he came into the room, beaming, "Using our school will make it quite eevee!"

"Principal Oak!" Lillie greeted.

"I'll stay with you all and help," He offered, "The Pokemon School is perfect. Yes! A blank canvas on which to create empo-rtant business!"

"All right!" All of us cheered.

"Let's get ready right away!" Ash cheered, excited.

Mallow turned to Lana, "Lana, won't this be fun?"

"Yeah!" Lana answered.

"Alright, first things first," I smiled, "What do you all think should go in a haunted house?"

We planned all day and somehow got it set up before that night, "Aren't you going to help us with it?" Lillie asked as I started to leave the school.

I shook my head, "I don't think I will. I… don't really like haunted houses."

Ash frowned, a bit worried, "Right. Last time we went to a haunted house they had a… yeah."

"I'll come back to help clean everything up, but I've got some Pokemon to put to bed," That was mainly Winter, since she was already asleep in my arms.

"We can handle it," Kiawe told me, smiling and knowing first hand what happens when I'm away from my Pokemon, "Just stay near your Pokemon."

Everyone nodded as Acerola looked confused, "What happens when she's away from her Pokemon?"

Mallow pointed to a small scar on her arm, "This happened last time her Pokemon didn't know where she was and all she was doing was talking to Professor Kukui in the room next to us. Although it was an accident."

Acerola's eyes widened, "Oh," Then she turned to me, "Take care of your Pokemon and make sure they know where you are."

"Don't worry. I do my best to remember," I reassured as I walked home, "Good luck!" And there were Lana's sisters, coming up the path in excitement.

The next day, I hear that it's a success just before the Ultra Guardian's signal sounds and we quickly go down to the Ultra Guardians Base, "Alola, everyone," Lusamine greeted.

"Alola!" We greeted her.

"Today, I have a special request to make of all of you," She continued.

"What's up?" Ash asked after we got over our shock.

Wicke leaned in closer, "Investigate Akala Island."

"Are you saying there's an Ultra Beast there?" Kiawe asked, sounding worried.

Wicke moved out of the way as Lusamine continued explaining, "No. That's not it."

"There has been an extreme spike in magnetic activity there recently," Wicke answered, "Centered on Wela Volcano. It's affecting our Ultra Aura sensors."

"Magnetic?" Mallow asked, "Like from big magnets?"

Lillie nodded, "Exactly."

Wicke nodded, "It was originally in the mouth of the volcano and nearby mines, but for some reason, it's spread out over the entire Wela area."

Kiawe's eyes widened, "Incredible! It's even closing in on Paniola Town."

"So, you want us to go look for the source to make sure we'll be able to do our jobs as Ultra Guardians," I summed up.

Lusamine nodded, "Exactly," Then she stood up, "And now, all right, Ultra Guardians, off you go!"

"Ultrodger, Lusaine!" We answered and quickly left

When we got there, we split up into three groups. Sophocles and Ash; Lillie, Mallow and Lana; and Kiawe and I were the separate groups. Sophocles, Lillie and I borrowed portable sensors. As we started walking around, Marowak was leading the way, "Left, right. Left, right. Left, right," He chanted.

"Marowak is really into this," I smiled.

Kiawe smiled as well, "Don't get too far ahead Marowak," He warned.

"I won't!" Marowak agreed.

Winter was right behind him, followed by Sylveon and Riolu. Oricorio and Ribombee were looking from the air to see if they could find anything, "Do you have any clue on why this could be happening?" I asked Kiawe as we continued walking around.

Kiawe frowned, "I guess it could be from the Geodude and Golem that live here. They eat the Spark Stones that are in the mines around here, but they can eat a lot more of them inside the mines. There's no reason they should be out here."

That's when all our Pokemon stopped and looked to the side just in time to dodge a Psybeam coming right for them, "What was that?!" Kiawe and I turned to see a Hypno coming out from behind a rock.

Behind Hypno was… Milan. I froze as Kiawe stood in front of me, ready to fight, "What are you doing here?" He asked.

Milan kept his face straight, letting no hint of emotion through, "You know what I am here for," Then he looked at Hypno, "Use Confusion."

He never yelled, which just added a scary factor to his battling, but this time, I wasn't going to stand around, "Sylveon, use Swift!" I called out.

They canceled each other out, "You dare defy me?" He asked, still not raising his voice, but sounding intimidating. It honestly scared me whenever it happened.

I gulped, but still said as strongly as I could, "You do not own me," Still, it sounded like I was just trying to convince myself.

Milan and Kiawe knew it, "Use Flare Blitz," Kiawe called out.

Just as Milan said, "Use Psybeam."

"Marowak!"

"Psychic."

My eyes widened as all of our Pokemon were harshly thrown into the side of Wela Volcano, "No!" Before I could run to see if they were alright, rocks were pulled from the volcano and trapped all of them in.

Still, I tried to move the rocks to no avail until I heard, "Leave the boy to me."

Remembering the dance, I tried to move as I watched them fight, but still couldn't get over the fear. A rumble brought me out of my thoughts and I looked up. My eyes widened once more as I saw rocks falling, going straight for- "Kiawe! Look out!" I flung my arms out and used my Aura to stop the rocks from hitting him, but they were still above him… and he couldn't move.

Milan was keeping him there, knowing the strain he was putting me through. It didn't take much longer for him to pin Kiawe to the side of the volcano. He looked at me, "I'll give you a choice, daughter," He knew what I was going to choose, "You either come with me or…" He just held a knife closer to Kiawe.

"No!" I cried out, then sighed in defeat, looking at the ground, "I'll come with you… sir," I couldn't bring myself to look up.

"Good," Milan was definitely smiling. He knew what he wanted and he was going to get it, "Hypno?"

"Understood," Hypno answered.

I looked up just as Hypno put Kiawe under, "What are you doing?" I asked.

He glared at me, "I'm making sure we're not followed. You are never going to escape me again."

As I was being taken away, I knew that I wouldn't be seeing them for a while at least. Still, I didn't fight in fear he would hurt my friends or Kiawe.

-Kiawe's P.O.V.- (A.N. Who was expecting this? A new point of view this far into all of it!)

I opened my eyes to see the sky right above me, "What?" I whispered, sitting up and realizing where I was, "How did I get to Wela Volcano?"

The voices of my friends came a moment later, "Kiawe! Autumn! Where are you?" Lillie called out.

"Please! Answer us!" Ash sounded like he was on the verge of a panic attack.

I looked around and wondered where Autumn was as I called out, "I'm over here!" Then I went to stand up and noticed Pokeballs. Autumn's Pokeballs.

The others quickly found me, but Ash quickly asked, "Where's Autumn?!"

I picked up her Pokeballs, "She left her Pokeballs here," I said instead of answering his questions, then I looked at all of my friends' horrified faces.

"She never leaves her Pokeballs anywhere!" Sophocles pointed out.

"Kiawe," Mallow asked, "Do you know what happened?"

That's what scared me, "I… I don't even remember flying out to Wela Volcano," I admitted.

Everyone was scared when I admitted that, "What happened here?" Lana asked.

"And where's Autumn?" Lillie asked.

That's when Ash called our attention to some rocks, "Your Pokemon are in here!"

"Metang!" Sophocles asked and they were free a moment later.

"Riolu," I asked as soon as they were free, "What happened?"

Knowing that we wouldn't be able to understand her if she tried to talk, she started to draw something in the dirt. Ash was the one to recognize it, "Are you sure it was him?" He asked, sounding terrified. Riolu nodded and Ash punched the ground.

Scared to know, but having my suspicions, I asked, "Ash, what happened?"

He didn't look up, but we all saw a few tears escape his eyes and land on the ground, "Her father, Milan," He got out, "He took her," He looked at me, "Probably by threatening your life."

At that moment, I wished more than ever that it wasn't true. Sadly, all of us knew it did happen.
