Within a few months, Ahsoka begins to find her own way, stating that, while she felt happy and at home with Vex, she could feel something more out there, something calling to her.

"You're not the only one." He sighs. "Something has been calling to me too. Something... familiar."

"I suppose this is where we part ways." She sags slightly.

"Not forever. We will find each other again." He assures, bringing her into his embrace, hissing the top of her head, where her montrals joined her skin. "Though, that sounds somewhat cheesy out loud." Ahsoka chuckles with him.

"It kinda does. But I know you mean well." She retorts, kissing his cheek. "I'll see you when the Force, and Null, decides we be reunited."

"May the Force be with you, 'Soka." Vex bides her farewell, as she jumps onto her speeder.

"And with you." She returns. She starts the engine and makes her way deeper into Coruscant, while Vex makes his way to the top of the apartment they share, climbing into his Z95, powering her up.

[Been a while] The built in astromech greets.

"It has been, hasn't it, Angel." Vex affirms. He brings the Z95 into the air, directing her through the traffic lanes, before breaking out of the atmosphere, the expanse of the Galaxy sitting before them. Vex closes his eyes, feeling for some kind of spark, listening, until he hears a familiar call. "Angel, what planets are along the bearing 039?" He asks.

[List is on the console] She answers, the console flaring to life with a list of planet names, one in particular singing out to Vex.

"Lothal. Interesting. Angel, is there a Jedi Temple on Lothal?" Vex asks, reading the Planet's info card.

[Not in any data banks I have access to. There might be a Temple, but the Jedi's information on Lothal is restricted.]

"Is there a password?"

[No. It's DNA locked.]

"Have you got a sample of mine?"

[Yes.]

"Send it through." A hunch, on Vex's part, but one that he just knew would work. It takes a moment, before the file unlocks, and reports pop up, all signed by a Jedi Master named Ven Zallow. He skims through, finding the coordinates of the Temple, before permanently unlocking the files, leaving them for others to find. "I think it may prove useful to leave this open for others. They won't be looking for it unless they really need to." He states aloud, merging the files with the lists already open as public knowledge, well, at least for any Jedi. "Set course for Lothal." The astromech follows the order, and the coordinates are input into the ship. With a deep certainty of where he was going, Vex made the jump.

It takes a few days before Vex arrives at Lothal, the beauty of the planet, untouched by war brings a tear to Vex's eye, seeing that peace, in some ways, was possible. He makes his way to the port of Lothal' Capital City, landing in one of the docking bays with practiced ease. Paying for the slot, he leaves the port, standing within the bustling city, watching as everyone went about their lives.

"Are you alright?" A woman asks, her darker skin standing out from most of the humans and humanoids, a man by her side. The lump of her stomach gave away her expectancy.

"Yeah." Vex chuckles lightly. "It's just... good to see some planets unaffected by either side of the war." His comment earns raised eyebrows from the two.

"Are you a soldier?" The man asks, somewhat warily.

"You don't need to be concerned. I'm not here for the Republic, though I fought for them not too long ago." Vex assures. "I'm here on personal business."

"Would you like us to show you around?" The woman asks.

"That would be lovely, if you are willing." Vex accepts, holding out his hand. "I'm Vex."

"Ephraim." The man introduces himself, taking Vex's hand in a grasp of greeting. "This is my wife, Mira."

"It's good to meet you both." Vex returns, gesturing for them to lead the way. They show him the main markets, and a few spots of interest where they spent their time. They managed to grab a speeder and show him Jhothal, where Old Jho's Pit Stop, a local, but popular bar in the center of the settlement. Kothal was the next one, a massive trading community that dwarfed the markets in the Capital City. While out there, Vex heard the familiar call once more, a sad hymn, but filled with hope all the same. "What's out beyond there." He asks the two.

"Nothing but rock formations, plains, and Loth-Wolves, though they haven't been seen in over 80 years." Ephraim answers.

"Would it surprise you to say I have seen a Loth-Wolf before?" Vex asks, earning confused looks from the two. A low howl in the distance catches their attention, as a white Loth-Wolf stands in the distance, even as the sun began to set, the twin moons beginning to rise. "Yeah, that's him."

"I... I don't believe it." Ephraim stutters.

"I wouldn't reset the counter. They've been gone for a reason. He's only showing himself for me." Vex states knowingly.

"Are you a Jedi?" Mira asks suddenly.

"No. My powers aren't from the Force. But it would still be the closest comparison." Vex answers softly. "You two should head home. I'll find you when I'm done." He begins to move off, before Mira calls out to him.

"Wait!" Vex turns to her, already knowing the question she has on her mind.

"Yeah. He does." Vex affirms her unasked question, before walking towards the wolf. As he reaches the majestic creature, it lies down, gesturing for him to hop on his back. "You sure?" Vex asks, earning an affirmative growl. Once on top of the wolf, he has to grab hold, as it begins to run, making its way through the plains, past the rock formations, and on, until one particularly large stone mound appears on the horizon, the wolf slowing itself as they approach the mount. Once there, it lies down, allowing Vex to dismount, before it closes it's eyes, resting in the open. Vex glances back to the wolf, before returning his gaze to the mount, or, what he guesses is the Temple. numerous symbols adorn the ground, surrounding the Temple in a system of orbitals. Vex finds the nearest one, and sits down, closing his eyes as he feels for the familiar cry.

He finds it, and reaches out, trying to grasp it. The ground shakes, as the Temple begins to open, but he doesn't stop, not until he feels the call directly before and the depths of the Temple are open for him. He stands from his position, and makes his way inside, ignoring the faded murals and reliefs on the walls, too focused on the crying crystal he can see at the end. Roots of darkness ebb along the walls, following Vex as he continued on, covering the walls, and seeping toward the floor.

Almost there! Dammit! I had it worked up to this point and then lost it. Sigh, it'll get there.
