"Buuuu… can… hear… m… me".

"B…ul…k…ope…y…r…op…".

He felt like he was floating… like he was outside of his frame.

He just felt free and it was so… good. He never wanted to leave this place.

I wonder if this is what being in the Allspark feels like. I feel like I am home and I'm surrounded by bots who love and care about me.

"Bulk… please… come… back, your friends… need you, Miko needs you… I need my… best friend".

That voice… It was Wheeljack, but he sounded sad and scared. The Jackie that he knows is never scared of anything. He would always jump headfirst into any situation, and always come out on top. Jackie always had such unwavering confidence.

He felt like he was being dragged with dirt and rocks getting beneath his plating. He wondered where they were taking him until he was put down on the floor.

He could have continued his train of thought when he didn't feel an immense amount of pain! He immediately opened his optics and was only able to groan in pain. He immediately opened his optics and was only able to groan in pain.

He saw two blurring shapes in front of him. His optics were having a hard time adjusting. He could not make aft's or tailpipes on what or who he was looking at.

He wanted to close his optics and was about to when he felt servos touching the wound in his chest that made him keep his optics open. He could make out the color of the bots that were on top of him with the one touching his wound having a white and orange paint job on his wight, and to his left, the other bot was mostly white but with green and red accents. It was Ratchet and Wheeljack.

He was trying very hard to resist going into stasis.

He started to feel a lot of pain when he felt the bot on his right start to use a welder to close the wound in his chest plate. He felt the bot on his left holding him down when he began to thrash around because it was fragging hurting badly!

It felt like forever until it finally stopped and the bot on his left stopped holding him down. He was dazed as he watched the bot on his right start hooking his right arm and felt energon starting to rush in.

He was snapped out of his daze when he heard a shout coming from somewhere on his right side. It stopped his spark dead in its tracks.

What the frag is she doing here! I thought I told Ratchet to keep an eye on Miko.

He tried to sit up but felt two pairs of servos holding him down. He tried to swat them away but he didn't have the strength to move his fragging arms!

He could only lay there as he saw Wheeljack move from optical sensors.

He just lay there on the floor as Ratchet was doing his thing. He could see the faint outline of an energon transfusion in his right arm.

I hope you keep Miko out of danger, Wheeljack. He slowly powers down his optics and felt recharge claim him.

Ratchet let out a huge sigh as he watched Bulkhead enter into recharge. That fragger got lucky. If it weren't for Wheeljack's quick timing, Bulkhead would have been one with the allspark. He was lucky that Dreadwing missed his sword by 1 inch from piercing his spark. Luckily that the sword did not pierce his spark chamber but fragging came close to it.

He would have made a big fuss over Bulkhead going into recharge, but considering that he was not in any danger to be offline on the spot he would let him recharge to replenish his energy reserve.

After all, the mech would need to replenish his energy so that it would be easier to move him and give a proper checkup in the medbay to better monitor him if they're able to get out of the battlefield without being blown to pieces.

He was keeping a close optic on the vitals that he had on his left arm, as well as making sure that the energon transfusion was doing its job.

"Frag I'm too fragging old for this". He had been there when Optimus was simply Orion Pax and was young and naive. He missed those days on Cybertron before the War made them lose their home and have to abandon it.

He took a moment to glance behind at the culprits who had the galled to follow him on an active battlefield. He saw June Darby giving a huge scolding to Jack and Raf, he could not make out most of what she was saying but his audio receptors did pick bits and pieces of the conversation.

"Jack! I can't believe this is what you do!... I raised you to be responsible so things like this do not happen!... When we get back to base I am going to ground for 6 months, maybe even a year!". Yes, Jack's creator was furious and he could see Agent Fowler staying as far away from the rampaging women as possible.

Although, there wasn't much room to move with how much devastation was covering the area. He and the rest of the humans were taking cover behind the structure that the team had uncovered. His scientific mind would have loved to know what made this artifact tick but that would have to wait.

But… it was an understatement by how huge this structure was.

When he stepped out of the groundbrige, he did not think he was going to be met with terrifying optics of Wheeljack who was crouching protectively over Bulkhead.

He could see underneath Bulkhead was a pool of energon forming, he had quickly gone over to Bulkhead and started barking orders to Wheeljack to inform him of the situation.

It had been a challenge but he and Wheeljack were able to move the large mech over to the artifact where it look like to be controlled.

It was as far away from the battlefield as possible and there was almost no chance of any cons of sneaking up from behind.

Now, he was stuck here not only watching over Bulkhead and Wheeljack left to save Miko from getting herself killed and the idiotic humans who thought it was a great idea to follow him. He had stopped hearing June yelling at the children when Fowler had put a stop since they were in a warzone and that the screaming session would wait when they got back to base.

He could hear the faint rage yelling from Miko as she was fighting Dreadwing toe to toe.

Out of all the idiotic things she has done this has got to what humans would say take the cake!

It's one thing to fight against an insecticon but Dreadwing is a warrior who has had millions of years of experience before humans were even alive. It would be detrimental for any cybertronian who was not properly trained… but to a human was just a death sentence.

It did not matter how powerful the apex armor was and how devastating it could take. It would only take time for the armor to start to wear out from the many hits it would take and an amount of patience and precision for the armor to start to degrade, it was definitely what Dreadwing was doing as he glanced over where the fight was happening.

He could see cracks starting to form on the armor and getting bigger the longer the battle went on.

He could also see how Wheeljack was struggling to pull Miko away from Dreadwing. He saw how he was being tossed around in her blind rage.

His processor screeched into a halt when he heard a missile heading towards their position. He only took a second to scream at the humans to take cover when boom!

He was sent flying to the side and landed painfully on his back.

He was disoriented but was able to get back towards getting cover from the artifact which surprisingly was still intact.

But he noticed something laying on the ground from where he had fallen. It was groundbrige control but it was barely recognizable and was just a useless lump of metal.

He glanced back to check on the humans and found them to be relatively unharmed despite being shaken up from the missile hitting close towards their position.

He glanced at the battlefield and found the team to be in very bad shape.

Bumblebee had large scuff marks and scratches all over his armor. He looked drained of energy by how dimmed his optics were and he looked like he would be able to keep up space with the number of vehicons that were coming his way. It did not matter how many he took down because new vehicons took their place.

Smokescreen looked a bit worse, his armor looked to have been put through the grinder by how damaged it was. His armor was chipped in various places and had gouges where he was leaking energon. But, thankfully it was not in large amounts but it was still worrying. He was taking cover behind some fallen boulders but there was worry in his optics replacing the usually cocky bravado behavior he always showed.

Arcee was bleeding heavily from her right leg and her armor was scorched and had cracks running along her right side where a missile had hit her. Starscream had gotten a lucky shot on her when she had been dodging blaster from vehicons. Her injuries were weight down on her by how slow her momentum had gotten and she could not dodge incoming fire easily as he saw her take a hit or two from blaster fire. But, her warrior resolve was still going on strong as she wasn't letting her injuries weigh her down as she continued to take down vehicons and shoot at Starscream who was doing her shots and shooting his shots at her.

Lastly, Optimus was the only one from the team, aside from Wheeljack who did not participate much in the fight since Bulkhead went down. The upgrade he had received from the forge of Solus Prime had made his armor much more durable to take devastating punishment. Megatron was also relatively unscathed as well since his previous background of being a gladiator was serving well to battle an upgraded Optimus.

I hope Wheeljack gets Miko out of this situation soon because the team would not last much longer in this battle.

Even if only that missile did come out of nowhere we would still have the groundbrige control to teleport the rest of the team back to base.

Wheeljack was starting to get familiar with having his faceplate in the dirt as he was being tossed around that the number of times he had was lost to him.

Frag sake! The little wrecker rivals my stubbornness. He had never met any bot who held the same protective fire he had for his pal then this little organic.

His body groan when he push himself up, his gears were moved from different places by how much he was tossed that he had to take a second to pause and let his body rest up a bit before he decided to go back in the fray to try no matter how many fragging times is going to take to get Miko away from Dreadwing.

He would never forgive himself if something bad happened to Bulkhead's partner that he was seeing as his partner as well. He did not think he would be able to form any friendship after he had lost Seaspray to Dreadwing.

His train of thought was interrupted when he a loud crack! He immediately turns around and saw the Apex Armor on the ground… there were gouge marks and big cracks like spider webs all over from Dreadwing hits and swords.

Dreadwing was standing over Miko and was ready to deliver the final blow.

Not fragging having it!

He immediately ran over and delivered a flying kick that sent Dreadwing to the side and off of Miko.

He grabbed her from the broken visor of the apex armor and sprinted towards where Ratchet and Bulkhead were. He kept her frame close to his chest plate as he weaved and dodge incoming fire as he ran across the battlefield.

He put Miko down so she could join with the rest of her friends, he could hear Jack and Miko arguing over her stupid stunt that she pulled.

There is more where that came from, just you wait little wrecker.

He turned towards Ratchet and was about to ask how Bulkhead was doing, but it seemed that the medic beat him to it. "Bulkhead is fine and is no longer in critical condition. But I would due a thorough examination when we get back to base. For now, he is recuperating the energon he had lost as well as stocking up on his energy reserves while he is resting". Wheeljack stared at Bulkhead and went and sat on his left side.

"Thank you Ratchet". His voice was sincere and filled with relief to know that he would not lose another friend.

"You don't need to thank me Wheeljack".

Raf knew that he should have spoken up but he had followed Jack's lead to get to Miko.

He should have known that Ms. Darby and Agent Fowler would have followed them the moment they have ran towards the groundbridge.

How would we have stopped Miko from doing something stupid since she has the Apex armor… or at least used to.

He looked across the battlefield towards where the Apex Armor lay in its broken state. He had believed that the Apex Armor would have protected Miko indefinitely but he should have known not all equipment last forever and break down if excessive force is been used constantly.

She is lucky that Wheeljack was close by. If he hadn't been… I don't want to think about it.

He was shaking his head as it would dislodge the picture that he had formed in his head. If there is one thing that Raf hated about his mind, it was creating vivid pictures into what he is thinking about and it would go on in a loop that would make things harder to forget.

His train of thought was interrupted when he heard a faint buzzing. He slowly turned around and found himself face to face with a control panel, it was filled with symbols of all kinds that he did not recognize. But there was a big symbol that was staring right at him.

He felt the urge to touch it, which was bizarre because of all the artifacts that he had been in contact with ever since meeting the Autobots he had never felt the urge to touch them or approach them.

But… his body had a mind of its own and pushed the button.

What happened next would not prepare him and the rest of the team.

Author Note:

Hello guys, sorry it took such a long time to get this chapter out. I have been very busy with my English and humanities classes and that has been my main focus. But, whenever I have free time I have been doing freewriting on the chapter and I wanted to make this chapter longer than the other ones. I also have had other story ideas in my mind and one specifically about Starscream and that has to do with the supernatural. I have been reading a lot of Starscream fanfic stories. I would also be taking my time in writing these stories rather than doing them in a rush.

I would also like to thank Haruau8349 for giving me suggestions and tips for future chapters for this story.

Bye everyone, have a nice day!
