On the day Pepa and Felíx met, Bruno had unintentionally had a vision, but he wasn't too worried about it. It was one of the few visions that actually did not prophesy anything bad. In fact, it might even be the most beautiful vision he ever had.
He had placed them on his dessert in his room, as it reminded him that not all of his visions were a nightmare. He stretched out his hand and took the vision from its place to be able to look at it better. Satisfied, he looked at the jade green vision in his hands and could not hide a happy smile. It showed Pepa and Felíx. This vision always put a smile on his face, but the longer he looked at it, the more unhappy he became. Finally, he sighed deeply.
He had now kept the existence of this vision to himself for several months and although the awkwardness of the two was extremely amusing for him, it was slowly annoying how the two behaved around each other. Originally, he had planned not to interfere in the matter, but if he was honest with himself, he was not sure how much longer he could keep the vision to himself.
And so it happened that he knocked carefully on Julieta's door in the early morning. The longer he waited, the more doubts came over him. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to get involved after all. Or maybe it was way too early and Julieta was still asleep and would scold him for waking her up so early. He began to panic and walked restlessly back and forth outside her door. No, Julieta wouldn't think so.
He was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice Julieta opening the door and was now trying to grab his attention. He felt a gentle hand on his shoulder, which made him jump a meter away with a loud cry of terror. "Bruno?" His sister gave him a worried look and slowly walked towards him to hug him.
He visibly relaxed and let himself sink into her embrace. After a while, she let him go and gave him a worried look. "Is everything okay?" A tremor passed through him as he thought of the task ahead. With trembling hands, he searched for the vision under his Ruana and slowly pulled her forward. He reluctantly stretched out the vision to her and kept her as far away from him as possible.
He didn't like to show his visions, even if it wasn't bad at all. On the contrary, it was actually really beautiful. But that didn't change the fact that he didn't like to do this. It could also be a huge mistake, but currently he considered his decision to be the best solution. Tensely, he waited for her reaction and nervously bit his lip.
Julieta accepted the vision with surprise and also a little worried and examined it insistently. A confused smile crept onto her facial features before a huge smile began to form. "Are they...? He let out a relieved breath. "Jap. Pepa and Felíx, married forever." He saw Julieta's smile light up and a hearty laugh escaped her. "We were right all the time. They are meant for each other. Come on, we have to show pepa." She wanted to grab Bruno's arm, but he retreated fearfully and began to protest when he withdrew his vision.
She paused and gave him a questioning look, as she didn't quite understand why he didn't want to tell Pepa about it. He leaned over to her and whispered something in her ear, whereupon a huge smile began to appear on her gentle face. "You take care of Felíx, I take care of Pepa. Today 6 pm at the market square." Bruno nodded and made his way to Felíx. For the first time in his life, he felt something like confidence. Confidence that his plan would work and not end in disaster as usual. In any case, this should be interesting.
So Julieta tried to comb the hair of a bad-tempered Pepa, which turned out to be much more difficult than she had originally thought. "Au! Does it have to be?!" Julieta rolled her eyes. Pepa had been complaining since she started helping her. "Yes, it has to be. You want to look beautiful when you meet him." Despite the protests, Julieta ignored her sister's complaints and continued to try to straighten her hair, which unfortunately was far too curly.
"But why? I don't care if any stranger thinks I look beautiful. I don't even want to meet him." Julieta sighed. It was a miracle that her room was not yet under water and Julieta fervently hoped that this would remain the case for a long time. She turned her gaze to the cloud, which was definitely darker than before. If it gets worse, then all her work would be ruined and she would have to start over with Pepa's hairstyle. In addition, Pepa would have to change again and she was already a bit late.
"And that's it." Pepa turned her gaze to the mirror in front of her. Julieta hadn't understated when she said she would look beautiful. Of course, she would never admit it, but on closer inspection she found her appearance a bit exaggerated. It wasn't as if this guy she was meeting was someone special for whom she had to make herself pretty. She gave her sister a wistful look, after which she rolled her eyes. "Come on now. You're already late. You don't want to make him wait any longer." Julieta chased her out of the house and Pepa made her way to the said meeting point.
A small restaurant that seems to be particularly popular and visited today. She took a deep breath and entered the crowded restaurant. "Good afternoon, Pepa." Pepa's gaze turned to the boy in front of her when he mentioned her name. "Augustin? What are you doing here?" He smiled a little shyly. "My father owns the restaurant and I sometimes help out in the kitchen. Of course, I'm not nearly as good as Julieta. Her food is truly incredible. She's generally incredible..." Augustin smiled a little nervously as he began to digress.
Pepa actually thought it was pretty cute how he raved about Julieta. She put on a gentle smile and tried to follow his enthusiasm attentively, but at some point she lost track. She was really wondering how Julieta couldn't tell he was in love with her. It was so obvious. "Augustin?... Augustin... Augustin!" Pepa rolled her eyes. He really had to be very much in love with her sister when she needed three tries to get his attention back on track.
He blushed and began to stutter when he finally realized his "mistake." "Eh... I... Eh sorry. Please don't tell her about it. She dond't have to know yet." When Pepa didn't answer, he immediately understood what she wanted from him and led her to her blind date, which she didn't really want to meet at all, but that changed pretty quickly.
As soon as she saw who her blind date was, panic broke over her. She grabbed Augustin's arm and prevented him from leading her further to her table. Augustin stopped in surprise and gave her a curious look. "I... it's Felíx." A gray cloud began to form. No. No. No. Not now. She took a deep breath and thought of a clear sky with sunshine.
Unfortunately, it only worked for a brief moment. The worries quickly spread in her. What if he's disappointed that she's his blind date? She groaned. Why hadn't she put more effort into her appearance? By now, a cloud had settled over the whole room and everyone was paying attention to her, but she only cared about Felíx. She saw how he looked confused at the cloud and then turned his gaze to her.
When her eyes met, she felt her heart beat. She would have preferred to have sunk into the ground at that moment and never reappeared. Especially when Felíx got up and slowly moved towards her, she really had to stop herself from just running away and forgetting the whole thing. "Pepa?" His surprised tone made Pepa feel even more uncomfortable than she already did for some reason, if it was even possible to feel more uncomfortable.
