This is awkward, eh? Sorry it's been so long. This chapter was really difficult to write for some reason, and it honestly did take me two months to finally put it in words. Writers block is a bitch.
Anyways, I hope none of you are angry with me it took so long! I know some of you are impatient little shippers. I mean it it's only been two months...
I'm going to stop talking now, I've made you wait long enough.

"Sup nerds. Finn, Jake, Bonnie, this is Flare. Flare, everyone else." Marceline and Flare entered the 'Tree House'. In reality, it was just a cabin in a small patch of woods that Jake owned. It was handed down to him from his dad, who passed away a few years back. When his dad passed, he decided to fix the place up himself. He turned the old, run down shack into a beautiful cabin in the woods with electricity and plumbing. Him and Finn every now and then will come spend the weekends out here, secluded from everything and will just adventure out into the woods.
Flare lifted her hand and waved to the people staring at her. Everyone observed her, taking in their own first impressed of the unfamiliar red head.
"Everyone, introduce yourselves because I'm lazy and there's like 10 of you." Marceline took a seat next to Bonnibel, who had been sitting on the couch by herself. She rolled her eyes at her girlfriend then made eye contact with the red head still standing by the door. Her stomach turned as she looked at the girl. She ignored the feeling in her gut and decided to introduce herself first.
"Hello." She lifted up her hand and waved to Flare. "I'm Bonnibel, this loser's girlfriend." Yes, she had to add girlfriend in there. Flare just gave a small smile to Bonnibel in return as she whispered hello.
"I'm Jake." Flare turned her attention to a raggedy man sitting on the floor with a blonde haired boy. "And this guy is Finn, my brother." Finn looked up from a pile of DVDs on the floor only to make eye contact with the red head. An instant blush appeared on his face as he looked at Flare.
"Uh. Hi, I'm- I'm Finn." He couldn't help his stutter.
"Back off, Finn. She's taken." Marceline rolled her eyes at the lover boy. Finn blushed harder, looking down once again at the DVDs.
"Oh god, don't remind me."
"Trouble in paradise?" Jake quizzed, looking down at his phone to only smile at what presumably was a text.
"I wouldn't call it paradise to even begin with."
"Flare, make yourself comfortable. No need to just stand in the middle of the room." Marceline pat the spot next to her to invite Flare to come sit down. Bonnibel watched her out of the corner of her eye as she sat next to Marceline. She noted that she did not like how close she sat next to Marceline. "Hey Bon, you okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine." Bonnibel leaned up and kissed her girlfriends cheek. "How'd your day with you father go?"
"It was great, actually. Up until he got called into work for some emergency." Marceline slouched in her seat. "I think that was the longest we have ever went without arguing about something. I also got to have a normal conversation with Simon, which was relieving."
"Well, I'm glad your day was good, and I'm sorry he had to leave." Bonnibel rested her head on Marceline's shoulder as she put her arm around the pink haired girl.
"Yo, nerds. Hurry up and pick a movie." Marceline called out.
"Pretty sure Bonnibel is the only nerd here." Jake joked, smiling at his phone once again.
"Hey! I am not a nerd." Bonnibel fought back. "And you've been smiling down at your phone for the past twenty minutes instead of helping Finn pick a movie. You know how indecisive he is. Who the heck are you texting?" Jake just shrugged as he typed out a message on his phone.
"Babe, you do experiments in your free time, you are a huge nerd." Marceline laughed as she got up from her spot on the couch, walking around the coffee table and behind Jake. She quickly snatched the phone out of his hands and read threw the messages.
"Hey! Give that back!" Jake tried reaching for his phone, but was too short compared to Marceline and eventually gave up.
"Damn it, I thought I could read these. All of this is in Korean. Jake, I didn't even know you spoke Korean." Marceline furrowed her eyebrows, sliding threw his inbox.
"Wait, Korean? Jake, are you texting Rain?" Bonnibel got up from her seat and walked over to Marceline.
"What? No, I'm not. Hah, why would I be texting rain?" Jake crossed his arms.
"Bonnie, don't you speak Korean? Read these for me." Marceline handed Bonnibel the phone. She hesitated to take the phone, but she was actually curious on why Jake would be talking to Rain. She read a few of the messages, translating them in her own head. "What do they say?"
"Wait Jake, are you and Rain…dating?" Bonnibel looked up and glared down her friend.
"I, well, um, no?"
"When were you going to inform me of this?" Bonnibel threw up her hands in frustration. "When was Rain going to tell me about this!" Bonnibel turned and looked down at Finn. "Did you know about this?" Finn quickly shook his head looking just as surprised as her.
"It's only been a few days Bonnibel. We were gonna tell you, I promise! She was actually planning a surprise trip to visit us all again, that's when we were going to tell you. You're not mad, are you?"
"No, of course I'm not mad Jake. I'm actually happy for you two. I just wish you would have said something." Bonnibel gave Jake his phone back before she sat back down. Marceline reclaimed her seat as Flare had a puzzled look on her face. Marceline had taken it upon herself to fill her in on who Rain was, and why it had been so important if Jake was dating her or not.
By then Finn had finally decided on a movie. Actually, Marceline got impatient and picked up a random movie from the pile and shoved it in Finn's face then shouted something on the lines of 'Now that I'm eighty god damn years old, I shall die peacefully because Finn has chosen a movie!' She hadn't even looked at the movie before she 'handed' it to Finn.
"We watched this movie last week!" Finn grumbled, inserting the disk into the player.
"Well, you took too long and it was there, so I guess we are watching it again." Marceline retorted. Bonnibel nudged her side, giving her a stern look. You know, the one she always gives Marceline when she's being rude.
For the entire movie Bonnibel was snuggled up next to Marceline. She stopped paying attention to the movie and instead kept a close eye on Flare. She doesn't know why, but she has a really bad feeling about her. She noticed every once and a while Flare would glance over to Marceline, hoping that she wouldn't notice (which she hadn't).
Yeah, Bonnibel definitely did not like Marceline's new 'friend', but she couldn't figure out why. She insisted it wasn't jealousy.
When the movie finally ended, Marceline stood up to stretch before walking into the small kitchen. "Yo Bon, Flare, you want anything to drink?" Both of the girls declined the offer.
"So um, Flare. What do you do?" Bonnibel adjusted herself on the couch.
"What... do I do?"
"Yes. Do you work, do you go to school?"
"Oh! Uh, I'm going to school right now. My major is in Criminal Justice, but what I really want to do if become a firefighter. Right now I'm… trying to get an internship at the local fire station." Flare hesitated to mention the internship but soon realized there was no way Bonnibel would ever make the connection.
Bonnibel cursed at herself, admitting that it was sort of cool that she was doing such things.
"Oh man, that's really cool!" Finn exclaimed, almost jumping out of his spot. "What made you want to become a firefighter?"
"My dad, he works with fireworks. He is licensed but would still make illegal fireworks at home, and a few years ago he had this… accident. He caught the house on fire and I'd be dead if it weren't for a firefighter."
"Oh man… I'm sorry! You didn't have to share that." Finn apologized.
"No no, it's okay. It's sort of funny when you come to think about it. You'd think he'd learn, but a few days ago something similar happened to him, just less drastic. I'm starting to think he's just a pyromaniac." Flare laughed to herself. "I mean I am named after fire after all. It's quite obvious."
All Bonnibel could find herself doing is rolling her eyes. She saw there was nothing wrong with the girl, but for some reason she just didn't trust her. She didn't like this feeling in her gut, because what if it was just jealousy?
A few moments pass of pure silence before Flares phone lights up and starts vibrating.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Do you guys mind if I take this?" Everyone shook their heads, allowing her to answer the phone. She spent a few minutes semi-arguing with the being on the other side of the line before finally hanging up just in time for Marceline to come out of the kitchen. "I have to get going, my boyfriend wants me home."
"You know you don't have to listen to what he says." Marceline joined the conversation, leaning her shoulder against the kitchen door frame.
"Yeah I know, but I should still get going." Flare stood up, returning her phone back into her pocket. "It was… nice meeting you all."
"It was nice meeting you too!" Finn jumped in. "You should come around more often! I'm sure Jake and Bonnibel don't mind. Right guys?"
"Yeah, dude. You're pretty chill." Jake smiled at Flare. Everyone in the room then turned to Bonnibel, who had been trying her best to ignore the conversation. She just shrugged as she picked at her fingernails.
"Right… Okay. Well thank you all. And thank you Marceline, really. I'll be seeing you?"
"Of course, dude. It's no problem really, I can relate, you know?" Marcleine smiled, giving Flare a gentle hug. That hug made Bonnibels inside twist and turn, in a bad way.
"Okay, yeah. See you guys later then." As Flare left the tree house, Marceline leaned over Bonnibel, resting her hands on both sides of her head.
"Bonnie, are you okay?" Marceline stared into her girlfriends blue eyes as if trying to read what was going through her mind.
"What? Of course I'm okay, why would I not be?" Bonnibel blushed as those green eyes stared into her own.
"Because you've been acting strange all afternoon."
"Marceline, I'm fine. I promise." Bonnibel smiled, kissing her girlfriends nose.
"Want me to walk you home?"
"You know the answer to that." Bonnibel giggled.
"Of course." Marceline leaned in, brushing her lips against her girlfriends, who leaned in further so they could share a deep kiss. When they remembered they weren't alone, Bonnibel gently pressed her hand against Marceline to push her away.
"Get off of me so we can go, loser." Marceline obliged, gaining balance on her heals and helped her girlfriend stand up. "Oh and Jake, expect me to give Rain a stern talk later about keeping this from me."
"What? No, you can't! She'd be upset if you found out so soon. She was looking forward to surprising you."
"Fine, Fine. But you better let me know when she decides to make a trip over here."
"Deal!" Jake beamed as he hugged Bonnibel. "Thank you so much!"
"I'll see you guys later." Bonnibel smiled.
It was just starting to get dark as the two girls started walking home. Bonnibel always loved this time of day, she loved the purple hues in the sky as the sun just started to set, and she loved the chilly breeze brush against her skin. Most importantly though, she loved taking walks with the girl she loves oh so much at this time of day. She thought it was cheesy and romantic, and as much as she hated to admit it, she loved that sort of sappy relationship stuff. She was thankful she could have this with Marceline, because she doesn't know what she'd do if she somehow wasn't around anymore. She was honestly terrified of ever losing Marceline, and they have only been together a short amount of time. Five months wasn't that long, although some may disagree. She wanted this relationship to go on for as long as possible, and she could only hope Marceline felt the same way, and she did.
Bonnibel was all Marceline could have ever wanted. That short pink haired girl meant the world to Marceline, and she would do everything in her power to keep her by her side.
When they finally reached Bonnibels apartment, she took out her key and unlocked the door before turning around to lock lips with Marceline. Marceline almost lost her balance, but managed to keep herself up so she could return the kiss. Bonnibel wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's neck, pulling her down so she was almost level with the girl. In return, Marceline placed her slim fingers on the pink girl's hips to pull her closer. She managed to walk forward, pressing Bonnibels back against the unlocked door.
"Get a room!" Marceline pulled away when an angry neighbor yelled at the flustered girls. Both of them burst out in laughter as her neighbor just growled at them before walking inside his own apartment. They stood there in silence for a moment before continuing their kiss. Not long after, Bonnibel struggled to open the door before she was pulled inside and immediately pushed against the same door. She hadn't even had the chance to lock it before they both stripped each other's clothes off and stumbled into the bedroom.
And this time, there were no silly interruptions.
