Nick groaned, feeling the sand on his back, where was he, he had been fighting Koragg, then, he couldn't remember what happened next, only that there was a flash of light and Catastros had nearly brained him. He pulled himself up to his knees looking around, he was on some sort of beach but it wasn't the pebbly beach near Briarwood, near was it the sunny beach that he used to hang out at near Reefside, or the beach at Angel Grove. Where was he?

His hand went to his pocket, pulling out his phone and flipping it open as he pressed it to his ear, "Guys can you hear me?" he asked, "Guys?" nothing, he turned around, looking in every direction for some sign of life, there wasn't any. Why was the Keeper Curse so bad at the moment, maybe Star was wrong, maybe there was a flare up in the Curse, unfortunately, those tend to lead to deaths. The wind blew around him, sounding like a low growl, "One minute I was fighting and now," Nick shook his head, hanging up his phone, sticking it back into his pocket, "Keeper's Curse certainly is having a hay day with me. I wonder if that was how Dad felt during his green ranger days."

The growling noise that filled the air changed, it was different now, almost a whinny sound, a loud, big, whinny from right behind him, "Please let that be an over size pelican," he muttered as he slowly turned around to come face to face with Catastros.

Nick whirled around, breaking into a run, horses were faster than humans, but humans had better endurance, at least that was what Aunt Aisha had told him once, so as long as he could just keep a head of Catastros he should be fine. He headed to the wooded area, hoping that the thick undergrowth and closely growing trees might slow Catastros down, but it was impossible to tell from what direction he was coming, and another attempt to use his morpher to contact the others for help didn't work either. What was he going to do. He didn't even know where he was.

V whacked a tree as hard as she could with a stick, growling at it before releasing the stick, "I can't wrap my head around it, Nick's gone, really gone."

"Well, technically he's just gone from this dimension," Chip pointed out, pressing his shoulder against V's. V turned to look at him, raising an eyebrow, "Technically," he insisted.

"There's got to be something we can do to get him back," Maddy insisted.

"Yeah, but even Udonna didn't have an answer," Xander pointed out, "Heck even his parents didn't know what to do."

"They told us to figure something out, and if we still haven't got him back by tomorrow they'll help us," Maddy pointed out, "They have jobs outside of being power rangers you know."

"Nick's in real trouble this time," Xander pointed out, "Why can't his parents help out, they are the Power couple after all?"

"Because they need to let us figure out stuff on our own, the only reason they became involved with the attacks on Nick's mind was because he has a special charm that's suppose to prevent that from happening," Maddy pointed out, "You heard them talking to Storykeeper and Udonna, they thought it might be Storykeeper's uncle behind the attack before they learned that it was Koragg."

A rustling in the treetops made the rangers stop as a strange creature appeared in front of them, dropping down from above.

"Nick's in trouble?" the creature asked.

"Who are you," Maddy demanded.

"More like what are you," V countered.

The creature looked over his shoulder, "Drum roll please," he announced as if there was someone behind him, "I'm Phineas."

"You must be the Troblin," Chip exclaimed, "Nick told us about you, but he didn't tell us that you were so well..." Chip trailed off, suddenly aware that what he was thinking might be offensive, "Freaky," he finally decided.

"Oh, stop it now, I'm blushing," Phineas insisted, acting like a young lady being told that she was beautiful for the first time. The next thing Chip knew he was being pulled into a hug rather he wanted it or not.

"Girls," Phineas gasped, noticing the sisters with them, "I like that," He sighed loudly before asking, "What's this about Nick being in trouble."

"He's trapped in an evil dimension, and we don't know how to get him out," Maddy confessed.

"Oh, well I guess giving up is the right thing to do," Phineas insisted, "Hey, no point in getting up just to fall back on your face again, I always say."

"We're not giving up," Xander insisted.

"Oh my mistake, so you're mopping around here with your long faces is actually helping Nick. Yeah, I get things wrong sometimes."

"He's right," V announced, "Walking around feeling helpless isn't going to bring Nick back, I'm sure that if there was no way in the world for us to bring him back the Power Couple would have stepped in again, for crying out loud, Nick is their son."

"I agree."

"We have to at least try."

"After all we're power rangers."

….

Nick glanced around the grove of trees that he was hiding in Catastros had disappeared, obviously he had lost him, "Not as smart as you think you are," he muttered to himself, knowing that talking to himself would help squelch the panic that was building in his chest.

He turned around and jumped, Catastros was right behind him, Catastros rose up onto his back legs, whinnying loudly as Nick scrambled away from him. What was he suppose to do now? There wasn't really anywhere he could go.

He was back up to the tree trunk when Catastros let out a cry of pain and collapsed heavily on his side. Nick scrambled to his feet, looking at Catastros in surprise, there was a cut on his hindquarters, silvery blood oozing from it and a crossbow arrow laying on the side. Catastros was hurt.

"I wish Aunt Aisha or Laurie was here," he muttered, picturing the second yellow ranger, who had became a vet, and his aunt's adopted sister who had healing powers, either one of them would know what to do with an injured horse, even one as powerful as Catastros.

He pulled himself to his feet, using the tree to steady him, "Why me," he wondered, it was obvious that Catastros was hurt, and he should help him, but Catastros was so big and strong, and worked for Koragg. He was a power ranger he couldn't just leave Catastros hurt, besides it could just be the case that Catastros was the only one who could free him from where ever he is and send him home.

Taking a deep breath he forced himself to approach the horse, "I can only help you from over here," he informed him, pulling out his wand, "I just need to figure out what spell to use."

Where was Clare when you need her, Nick thought as he tried to think, she might not be able to cast spells with the intended effects but she knew them all. She would know how to help Catastros. So would Mom, and Aisha and Laurie, and pretty much anyone else that isn't me, Nick grumbled to himself, trying to think if he knew any healing spells, he might have to ask Udonna about that, they might come in handy one day.

"Laminuminus," Xander slurred, swinging his wand around in front of the Crystal Ball, "Roxy."

Chip appeared at his side a spell book in his hand, "Did it work?" he asked.

"No," Xander confessed, "Not even a wink."

"Let's try this one," Chip suggested, "It's suppose to contact lost love ones."

"Guys," V called out, "I found something." Everyone raced to gather around where she had a spell book open, "It says here 'A spell of transport is a one way deal, unless a source can reverse the seal.'"

"Oh goody," Maddy said, chuckling, "a riddle."

"Reverse the seal, but how?" Chip asked.

"Yeah, remember that record that came out last year, I use it all the time for scratching, because if you play it backwards, it has different lyrics," V looked at Maddy, hoping that she would get what she was saying.

"So you think that if we say the spell backwards, it might release Nick," Maddy said.

"It's worth a shot," V insisted, "Does anybody remember Koragg's spell?"

"Oh it was something like Fettuccini Alfredo," Chip offered, causing the others to stare at him.

"That's what you had for lunch," Maddy pointed out.

"Oh."

Nick frowned, trying to think of what he was suppose to do, his Dad had told him on many occasions to use what he knew. What Spells did he know. Clare had taught him a vanishing spell just the other day, Vanishio, maybe he could vanish the wound away. It was strange thinking but it might just work.

He flipped his wand out, pointing it at Catastros, "Vanishio, Catastros Vanishio." nothing happened. Something was wrong. His wand wasn't working.

There had to be something that he could do for Catastros, he was in pain, he had to help. He got down on his hands and knees in front of the horse."I'm not scared of you," he insisted, stroking his nose, "I'm not, not any more."

His wand flared into life, causing Nick to pull it out once more, "Let's try this again," he suggested, pointing the wand at the cut, "Vanishio." there was a flash of light and then the wound was gone. Catastros pulled himself up off the ground. Nick went to pull himself off the ground as well when he saw something white poking out from beneath a nearby root. He went over there to investigate, it was some sort of map, written by the Ancients, "I better take this back to Rootcore he muttered, folding it up and sticking it into his back pocket, "If I ever find my way out of here," he finished.

Something nudged him on the shoulder, causing him to turn around, Catastros was standing behind him, craning his neck towards his back, "You want me to ride you?" he asked confused as Catastros bobbed his head up and down.

Nick grimaced, he never really cared about horses, his parents had taken him to stables before but he never found them as fascinating as others. He mounted up, noting that he had never rode a horse bareback before, the handful of times that he had done so before hand they had always been saddled.

Soon they were racing down the shore, headlong into what appeared to be a seal, very much like the one that had sent them there in the first place.
