Author's note:

This story is actually part of a bigger event. It is being planned out by me and my best friend. I am the one actually writing this story. My friend doesn't have an account here, so I may post his stories on mine. I will be featuring elements from his stories in this one. However, one of his stories isn't actually Animorphs, aside from Crayak being a character. It's actually an alternate Marvel universe.

You don't have to be familiar with Marvel comics or movies to read this Morphalites story, however. I hope this doesn't discourage anyone from reading.

I would also like to mention that the Marvel story will not be a major part of this one, but it will be mentioned a few times, like in this chapter.

Review Response

DBZfan45: Yes, I have read Twilight of the Animorphs, and it's a very interesting story. This one isn't going to be that much like it, though. The only similarity is that this is also an AU take on the series.

Now, on with the story

Interlude: the Meeting

Crayak was angry. No, he was positively livid.

That damned Ellimist had broken the rules.

"I thought we agreed to erase all traces of our original game. And yet you transport the anomaly from our last game to this new universe with the Morphalites? That sort of rule breaking will not be allowed in this game. I request something in return."

"And what would that be?" Ellimist asked.

"I want a representative for the mortals. I want my champion. He will be mightier than those stupid Yeerks, and I will be his direct master. He will have the ability to contact me directly. I will be able to do the same with him."

"Who do you have in mind?" Ellimist asked.

"Have you heard of the Mad Titan Thanos?"

Long ago, six powerful objects came into existance. They were nearly as powerful as the Ellimist and Crayak. As it happened, the seven artifacts of Ithkin were a little more powerful than the six Infinity stones.

Crayak appeared in front of Thanos and his followers, the Black Order. He struck fear into them.

He convinced Thanos to work for him. Incidentally, they changed their name from the Black order to the Order of the Eye. Since Crayak most often took the form of a giant red eye.

Crayak appeared back in the space between dimensions that was their home.

They found that Melissa had created an infinite number of Morphalite universes with very slight variations. Those universes, however, were not important in the game and for the most part would be ignored.

They returned to the task at hand.

That's it for now. I will try to have the next chapter posted today. We'll be back with David and the Morphalites in that one.

Until next time.
