A/N: All right, guys, here's the long awaited Yeerk Pool chapter.

Elfangor finally comes face to face with Visser Three, and finds out about Alloran.

I've been posting all these chapters today to make up for the delay in posting this week.

All right, onto the story.

Chapter 7

The plan was a good one.

We would all morph flies to get into the Yeerk Pool.

All of us, that is, except Tracy.

She was a registered Controller.

She was going in using her true human form.

We morphed.

We were heading towards the school.

[I knew school was evil.] Nate joked, [But I didn't realize how evil it was.]

Nobody laughed. We were all nervous about our attack on the Yeerk pool.

We reached the school.

We were still on Tracy when she headed into the janitor's closet.

There were a few other people in there. With fly senses, I wasn't quite able to make out all the details, but I definitely could tell that there were a few people in there with Tracy.

She and the others walked into the pool.

I discreetly morphed to human, and then to rhino.

Nate morphed gorilla, James morphed wolf.

I saw Tracy drop Innah in the pool, and then become her leopard morph.

Then Elfangor demorphed.

This was my second time here.

I saw cages. Elfangor's memories told me the cages were for the involuntary hosts.

I heard my dad's voice before I saw them.

"David! I know one of those animals is you! You listen, my son! You make those Yeerks pay! You give those Dapsens hell, you hear me? Give them hell for what they did to us! For what they did to all of us! This is for freedom!"

The other humans in the cages near him began to chant, "For freedom! For freedom!"

I slashed a Hork-Bajir's throat, and bit into another one.

We found some Taxxons, which were centipede like aliens that were really easy to kill.

All you had to do was step on one and it would burst open. Its brethren would rush forward to eat it.

We kept killing Hork-Bajir and Taxxons. But we wouldn't kill humans.

Then, he stepped forward.

He looked somewhat like Elfangor, but he was bigger, bulkier, and he felt different.

Then, Elfangor stopped. [No. This cannot be true. An Andalite-Controller.]

I stared at it.

[No! Not you, Alloran!] He said.

[Well well] the Visser said, [What have we here? A meddling Andalite warrior?]

[Do not talk to me, Yeerk!] Elfangor said.

The Controller laughed. [ah, but not just any ordinary Andalite warrior. My adopted son, Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul, if I am not mistaken. My, you have grown into a fine warrior. I have taught you well!]

[You taught me nothing, Yeerk. It was Alloran who taught me everything I know. It was Alloran, not you, Yeerk.]

[That is no way to talk to someone of such a high rank. You may call me Visser Three.]

[Why Earth?] Elfangor asked. [Why these humans? What do they have that you Yeerks do not?]

[The human population is so numerous. They have no power with which to defend themselves. And they do not know what is happening.]

[But you already have your Taxxon allies, your Hork-Bajir slaves, and other slaves.] Elfangor said. Then privately to us, he said, [Go! Run while you still can! I will die, but you must save yourselves!]

Visser Three began to morph, and I realized there was little hope for Elfangor now.

Elfangor began to strike at the Visser with his tail.

The creature Visser Three had become picked up the struggling Andalite. He held him close to his mouth ... And the tentacle that was holding Elfangor was bitten off by a second wolf!

Elfangor fell to the ground, and then began to morph to fly.

The wounded Visser demorphed, and retreated away to fight for another day.

I looked at the wolf.

The six of us ran away.

The wolf demorphed once we were out of the pool.

I morphed my Damien Fangor morph. Elfangor morphed Alan Fangor.

Then, Tracy's eyes widened.

"Cassie? You can morph?"

"That is only temporary. I think I may have lost the ability now. I can't morph. A being called the Ellimist gave me the power as a one-time thing to save you guys. And now, I'll just be your ally."

That night, I lay awake in bed, worried about what dreams would come.

Tomorrow was the meeting with Lanilin and my mother.

My dad was still a Controller, controlled by Iniss 225. I would kill him someday.

Elfangor was still alive, and the Morphalites had escaped the battle.

But so had Visser Three.

A/N: Did you really think I would kill off Elfangor in the Yeerk pool?

I wouldn't do that, since Elfangor is my favorite character.

Now, this book isn't over. We still have the meeting with Lanilin, and I will also do another interlude.

I will write those tomorrow.

Please review.

Until next time.
