Luz walked out of the Owl House with a spring in her step. Then stopped as she watched a 10-foot-tall warrior in full golden plate armor behead what looked suspiciously like Godzilla, made out of Abomination goo with a giant red longsword. It then lifted its weapon in victory before the illusion completely broke apart and the three illusion wizards fell down in exhaustion.
"What?"
"Don't ask." Boscha said causing her to jump.
"Don't sneak up on me like that." Luz snapped.
The pink-skinned girl looked up from her position sitting next to the door, "I was here when you walked out. You were distracted by the dramatic reenactment of Hunter's victory."
"That's not how I remember it."
"It's our artistic interpretation!" Gus yelled without moving.
Next to him, the twins yelled. "Yeah."
"Yeah!" Hooty said, making them both jump as he stretched forward from the door. "I especially loved the five-minute speech to his army about the need to retake the promise land."
Luz stared at him. Boscha looked at Hooty before grabbing Luz's shoulder and dragging her away. "Wait... what are you doing?" Luz asked, panic in her voice.
"I just want to put some distance between us and that strange demon."
"If he bothers you so much, why were you sitting so close to the door?"
Boscha stopped. Then she turned around. "Why else? I want to tease you and Amity about…" she nodded her head towards the house.
Luz blushed, glancing at everyone else. There was a bit of distance between them and the illusionists and Hunter was talking with Eda and Lilith. Hooty was talking to Willow.
"Speaking of which… where is Blight?" Boscha gasped dramatically. "Can she no longer walk?"
"Boscha." Luz yelped, covering the Witch's mouth. Boscha raised an eyebrow and Luz quickly removed her hands. "That's embarrassing."
"I know. That's why I'm asking."
At that moment, the door opened, and Amity walked out. She immediately spotted Luz and Boscha and jogged over to them.
"So…" Boscha began, "how was it?"
"Boscha…" Luz whined.
"It was great," Amity said with the care of someone describing the weather.
"What?" Luz asked.
"What?" Boscha asked.
"I mean, Luz did this thing with her tongue that reached places I didn't know could be reached and then I…"
"Nope." Boscha said. "I changed my mind; I don't need to know." With that, she turned and walked away.
"You just need to know how to handle her." Amity said with a smirk.
"Oh yeah," Luz said. "You guys were friends."
"Yeah," Amity said looking at the triclops who was now talking with Willow. "Friends."
"Wait," Luz said. "You were the one who used your tongue to…"
"I know, but I figured you might not like me telling her about that thing you did with your hand."
Luz blushed at the memory.
"But surely you'll tell your concerned and fun sister all about it." Emira said, startling them as she put her arms on both of their shoulders.
"Em…" Amity said with a longsuffering voice.
"Come on." Emira said. "It'll be girl talk."
"You mean you'll pester us for information?" Amity asked.
Em scoffed. "Is that what you think about me? I'm shocked and offended."
"Oh really?" Amity asked. "And what will you talk about? Your ex-boyfriend?"
"No… I'll talk about my next boyfriend."
"Next?" Amity asked. "Who?" Then she noticed where Emira was looking, at the Clawthorne sisters and…

"That is concerning." Eda said. "Belos is a…"
"What?" The ear-piercing scream drew everyone's attention to Amity Blight who was all but climbing on top of her sister who was covering the younger girl's mouth and laughing.
"What's that about?" Lilith asked.
"My impending funeral," Hunter said dismissively. "But back to the emperor. He won't like it."
"And we care about his opinion because…?" Eda asked.
"His many threats to Luz's friends and their families." Hunter said.
"Oh," Eda said.
"I think you may have forgotten because he doesn't care enough to hunt you down now that he has the door, but being a wanted wild witch isn't easy." Hunter said. "Frankly, I'm a little surprised he hasn't mobilized everyone to capture me."
"Are you kidding?" Eda asked. "I'm a badass harpy lady now. And we have the Great Hunter of the Gold, Slayer of a thousand Abominations, lord of the Titan's Skull and liberator of the Hexside castle with us."
"Di-Did you just quote the, and I'm putting big air quotes on this, 'reenactment' of my battle?"
"Of course. They made it a lot more interesting than when you told it."
"I think we're losing track of the actual topic of this conversation." Lilith said. "And we're presuming to be the ones to make the decision. When it comes down to it, it's on Luz and Amity."
The Alpha in Hunter growled. They were his Omegas. How could he be cut out of the decision?
Hunter quickly stomped that instinct down.
"So we'll present them with the choice?" Eda asked.
"I don't think they'll say yes if we give them all the relevant information." Hunter said. "At least not yet."
At that moment, Boscha ran up to them. "We have a slight problem."
"I'll take a slight problem over this one." Lilith said.
"I think Luz is afraid I'm going to rape her."
The three stared at the Alpha girl.
"What?" Hunter asked.
