Everything was okay throughout the night. They were able to sleep without much of an issue. Neither of them had a dream while sleeping. That was… until the following morning. The snap of a twig snapped them out of their slumber.

They all jumped to their paws, listening around for the source of the sound. "What the hell was that?" Luna's wolf ears raised up all the way. Toboe's legs started shaking, his tail between his legs, ears dropped. "It's other wolves," Kiba warned, catching the scent of other

wolves in the area.

The scent of more wolves were definitely in the area. Only problem was they couldn't see them. The pack stayed close to Cheza, who looked unnerved. Kiba, Tsume, and Luna bared their wolf fangs and raised their tails. They were ready to face any threat.

Out of the shadows, came a large grey she-wolf with green eyes. "Trespassers…" the she-wolf snarled, stepping out of the shadows to reveal herself.

"What are the five of you looking for in our territory?" the grey she-wolf snarled, stepping towards the pack. "We were only sleeping here!" Kiba snarled, hackles raised. "Bullshit, you five were! If given the opportunity, you'll steal our food and kill us! Am I wrong?" the she-wolf said, ears laid back.

"You crazy she-wolf! We weren't even planning on doing that! Where's the alpha male?!" Tsume snarled, looking like he was ready to pounce at any moment. "You watch your tone around my mate!" the she-wolf's mate snarled, walking out of the shadows.

He was a bit taller and muscular than his mate. He was orange with brown markings and darker blue eyes than Quent's wolfdog. Before they knew it, around six more wolves make their appearance out of the shadows, all baring their fangs. Kiba's pack closed in a circle with Cheza behind him.

There was a black and white wolf who had orange eyes, a dark blue she-wolf with brown markings with yellow eyes, a white she-wolf with red markings and red eyes that looked to be around the same age as Toboe, a white wolfdog with tan markings with light blue eyes. And two black wolves with white markings.

The female had a scar over her right eye, a white tail, white stockings on all four legs, a white spot over the left eye and white on her muzzle, and white ears. The male had white on his left shoulder, white cheeks, and white on the inside of his ears.

Luna suddenly stopped growling and stared at the two black wolves. Her yellow eyes widened when she saw them. 'No way… it can't be…' she thought in disbelief. She ran towards them, her tail wagging wildly.

"Luna! What're you doing?" Tsume shouted, jumping back at what she did. "Samara! Aaron! It's me, Luna!" Luna said happily, wagging her wolf tail. "Luna?! It can't be!" Aaron said, jumping back in shock. Samara jumped at her, wagging her tail too.

"Can someone tell me what's going on here? How do they know her?" Hige asked, tilting his head. Cheza recognized the interaction between the three wolves.

Samara leaped on Luna, the front of her body atop her. Aaron licked Luna on her head. "They are her siblings," Cheza said with a smile. "Siblings?!" the two packs exclaimed.

The orange and brown wolf looked at how happy Samara and Aaron and Samara were to see their little sister. "Willow, how about we let them stay for a little while? They could be hungry," he suggested.

Just as he brought up the hunger bit, Hige's stomach growled loudly. He cowered down in embarrassment. "Hmm, fine," Willow said, giving in to her mate's request. "What do you guys have?! Deer? Rabbits?!" Hige said happily, his tail wagging.

Kiba was still uncertain about this pack because of how trusting this pack was. "What's even going on here? Not a minute ago, they wanted to tear our heads off," he commented. "Chill out, Tsume! They have food and a few pretty females here," Hige said, running ahead of them, checking out the females.

The black and white wolf, Kuro, became defensive towards the blue and brown she-wolf. "Don't even try it. Touch her and you'll meet my fangs," he challenged, tail raised up, glaring at Hige.

"Kuro, calm down, would ya? He doesn't seem that bad," she said, giving a nuzzle to the male. Kuro was distrustful towards Hige and glared at him. "You try anything, you're gonna regret it." Kuro snarled, walking away. Hige looked at Kuro, raising his wolf ears.

"Don't mind, Kuro. He always gets that way when males approach me. He was the same with Aaron. Names Nikita," the she-wolf said, cocking her head a little. "Hige," Hige said.

Willow, the grey she-wolf, had seen Cheza and her eyes went big. "Is that…?" she whispered. Kiba didn't like how Willow was looking at her and stood in front of her. "You have the flower maiden with you? You won't get away with this so easily, white wolf. How did you even retrieve her? Steal her from the nobles? She carries the scent of one," she snarled, dropping her ears.

"I hadn't stolen her, we had found her before escaping from the nobles," he barked, protecting Cheza. "Walk with us, and we'll talk," Sirius said, talking in a calm, civil tone. Kiba glanced up at the flower maiden but got a reassuring grin from her. "It is alright, Kiba. This one will be fine," The three wolves walked off from the others to talk.

Toboe laid down and laid his head down in between his forelegs. "Hey there! You look interesting. What's your name?" the white and red she-wolf asked joyfully. Toboe's head perks up at seeing her, his cheeks became red.

"T-Toboe. What's yours?" Toboe replied, looking up at her. He looked into her red eyes, trying to find the right words to say. "Why're your eyes red?" he asked, sitting up. "I don't really know. I was born this way, I think. Hayato is my name," she replied, cocking her head a little.

"Wanna play?" Hayato said, play bowing. Toboe stands up and wags his wolf tail, finding this female fun to be around. The two young wolves start to play with each other.

Luna sat down with her brother and sister after being reunited. "Where you been at, Luna? We thought you were dead," Samara asked, tilting her wolf head at her little sister. Luna's wolf ears dropped as she was lost in thought. She didn't want to think about what happened to her old pack.

"After that, I was pretty much on my own for three months, going through the cities while avoiding the humans. Then, after going to Freeze City, I met my current pack. Things have been pretty rough but we're learning to get along," Luna said, looking at Kiba and them.

"What about the flower girl? She ain't one of us," Aaron said, looking at Cheza with his wolf ears raised. "Yeah, she smells nice. Like flowers," Samara said, wagging her tail.

Luna looked at Cheza over her shoulder. "You might think it's crazy but, she's coming with us to paradise," she answered. Aaron and Samara look a one another for a moment.

"You guys think I'm crazy," Luna said, giving a smile. "It's not that, we didn't think you were gonna go," Aaron said. "I didn't think I would either honestly," Luna replied, glancing back at the pack.

Luna looked at Tsume, seeing him laying down with his ears laid back. He had a jealous look in his eyes. Aaron didn't like that and said, "I don't like how he's looking at you,"

Aaron started to get to his paws to challenge the grey wolf but Luna stepped in between them. "Aaron, don't start a fight that isn't necessary," she said to her brother. Tsume glanced up and raises his head, glaring at Aaron.

"Fine, but he tries anything, he's gonna meet my fangs," Aaron said, baring his fangs a little. He then turns and walks off from his sisters. Luna watches as her brother walks off and her ears drop. Samara nudges her with her shoulder.

"Ah, don't worry about Aaron, Luna. He's gotten more overprotective since the fire," Samara assured, her ears perked up. Luna's wolf head drops a little along with her ears. "Yeah, I can tell. So… how did you and he find this pack?" she asked.

"Willow and Sirius took us in about a month after we left. Both of us were starving. They've treated us very well here and we haven't left since. Who's your pack?" Samara asked.

"Oh, the white wolf is Kiba. He's hard-headed and stubborn, doesn't like to be told what to do. The grey wolf is Tsume. Yeah, he may seem intimidating, but he really isn't. He's self-reliant and rough. He had come from a gang of humans back in Freeze City. The tan wolf is Hige, he's the hungry one of my pack. Not to mention, he hits on any female he comes across. He made a move on me when we first met, but he learned to not mess with me or he'd regret it." Luna started, looking at Hige, who was talking with Nikita.

"What's with that collar he's wearing? Is he a pet to the humans or something?" Samara asked, cocking her head to the left. "Honestly, we're not sure. I don't think he knows either," Luna answers. Samara looks at Toboe, who was still playing with Hayato. "What about him?" Samara asked.

"Oh, that's Toboe. He's honestly the sweetest one out of the bunch of us," Luna said. "What about those bracelets on his leg?" Samara wondered. "Oh… it's quite a sad story actually. He had told Tsume and me that he used to live with this human elderly lady. She had given him the bracelets. But she had died so he keeps the bracelets as a way to hold her memory," Luna explained.

Samara's ears dropped down. She didn't think that it would be connected to that. "Oh… that's pretty sad," Samara said, her usual happy tone dropped.

Just then, Kuro had returned with a sheep carcass and laid it down on the grass. His muzzle was covered in blood from the sheep. He didn't have to announce his arrival because Hige had caught the scent.

His head twisted in the direction of the sheep, tongue hanging out. Nikita jumped back at his reaction to the kill, her ears laid back a little. Hayato, who had pinned Toboe, had seen the kill and get off of him. "Lunchtime!" she happily said, wagging her tail.

Sirius and Willow look in that direction also. "Looks like Kuro's back with some kill," Sirius said. When Kiba looks over his wolf eyes widened. 'No! Not human food!' he thought fearfully.

Cheza noticed Kiba's distress and made her way over to him. "What's wrong, Kiba?" she asked gently, arm around his neck. "That's human food! Hige, don't eat that!" Kiba exclaimed, stopping Hige from laying a fang on the kill.

Hige stopped and gave Kiba a defeated look. "Huh, why? It looks nice," he whined. Kiba bared his fangs at Willow and Sirius, looking like he was ready to fight them. "My pack isn't going to eat this carcass! Those humans will come and kill your pack!" Kiba snarled.

Willow's muzzle crinkled in a snarl, "This is what we do for our pack! Who are you to tell us how to run our pack?" "I was wrong about you being a good leader," Kiba snarled before turning to his pack. "That's it! We're leaving this place! The nobles and humans will come! We're moving out at once!" he shouted.

Luna's eyes widened in shock. "What? Kiba, I haven't seen my brother and sister in so long. Why can't we stay a bit?" Luna protested, standing up with her ears raised. "Yeah, this place is awesome," Hige whined.

"Don't argue. We need to get moving whether we go before those nobles find us," Kiba snapped back, he then turns to Luna. "Luna, I don't want to force you from your siblings. Stay with them if you want," he said.

Luna's head drops she looks at her sister. "It's okay, Luna. You don't have to stay. Go find Paradise for us," Samara said. Aaron came back and nuzzled his little sister. "We'll be fine, Luna. You don't worry about us," he assured, "There won't be hard feelings about your decision,"

Luna was happy to see that her siblings were alive and hated to leave them so soon, but since she met Kiba and them, she couldn't bear to part with them. "I… I'm gonna go with Kiba and them. They're my pack and I can't leave them," Luna said, feeling a bit heartbroken.

Toboe's ears dropped and he looked down. "I guess this is goodbye, Toboe," Hayate said sadly. "Yeah… I guess so. I hope we meet again, Hayate," he replied, licking her on the muzzle. That's when he ran to catch up with Kiba and them.

The two packs met up at the edge of the border, Cheza standing in the middle of Kiba's pack. "We're leaving. I hope the humans and nobles will be merciful to you," Kiba said. Sirius and Willow snarled at them. "Go! We don't need any mercy from anyone! Especially from you or your pack! There won't be any point of finding that place, you're only chasing your tails!" Willow snarled, her fangs bared.

And with that, Cheza got on Kiba's back, holding onto his neck with her fingers buried in his snow-white fur. The pack of five turn around and gallop on the grassy plain, the forms of Willow's pack getting smaller and smaller. For a moment, Luna looked back at the pack, slightly regretting on going with them. But she couldn't change her mind.

Luna reunites with her siblings, but they don't stay for long. She has a hard decision to make.
