After a few hours, they all found themselves in a snowstorm, the wind picked up. It blew the falling snow everywhere. The sky was dark, making it hard to see a little bit.
Luna's arm was still sore, but she didn't falter. She had survived worse than this, so this cut was nothing. Hige stopped walking, looking behind him at Luna, Blue, and Toboe, who was trying to catch up.
Everybody except for Kiba stopped walking. "Kiba!" Hige called, looking at the white wolf. However, he didn't stop walking. It was as if he didn't hear him.
With a growl, Hige stormed over to him and grabbed him by the arm. "Would you stop?!" he shouted. Kiba looked over his shoulder to look at him, staring at him coldly.
"C'mon, you're going too fast! Can we stop and take a break?" Hige said through heavy breaths. "We don't have time for that," Kiba replied, starting to walk off.
"Would you use your head for once? Did you forget we got two girls and a little kid with us? Even Luna is still hurt," Hige spat, stopping Kiba again.
"We can hear you, you know? Don't worry about us, okay?" Blue said, getting Hige to look over his shoulder. Luna straightened her back up and said, "We can make it. Besides we're more than capable of keeping up," "Yeah, me too," Toboe added, panting with his hands on his knees.
They all know that Hige's the whiner of the pack, so it didn't take a genius to figure out that he wants to stop. "You guys realize that he's the one who wants to rest, right?" Tsume said, handing on his hip.
Hige turned completely around to face the grey wolf. "I do not! I just-" he started. "But he does have a point. At this rate, we won't make it out here. We can take shelter in those rocks until the storm clears," Tsume continued, looking at a shelter made of old debris and rocks.
Kiba wasn't at all pleased about Tsume's suggestion. But they couldn't keep going while the weather is like this. Luna's arm was still aching after being shot by that human.
"Yeah, I'm not one to complain, but my shoulder is sore. It can't hurt to rest a little bit," Luna said, seeing that it was a good idea. She, Toboe, and Blue started to follow Tsume. "Can you girls last a little longer," Hige asked.
"Just worry about yourself," Blue said as she walked by him. Hige's face dropped and he said, "Yes, ma'am, sorry," He followed suit to the shelter.
The pack settled down in the shelter, which was perfect for them to stay in. Once they got inside, Luna sat beside Tsume with her legs pulled up to her chest. Toboe and Blue resided on the wall that was next to them. Hige was at the wall adjacent to them. Kiba was standing at the doorway with their back facing them.
"The sun will be up soon. We should move when the storm stops," Tsume said, breaking the silence. "How about it, Kiba?" Hige said with a smile.
"It already has," the white wolf said, "C'mon, let's go," "None of us will be fine!" Tsume barked. "Yeah, don't you have any consideration?! If you want to freeze your ass off, that's fine. But I'm not leaving here until morning, so you can forget about it," Luna agreed.
"We should go. I can make it," Blue said, standing up. Toboe stood up with her. "Yeah, let's get going," he said. However, Hige only glared at Kiba coldly. "No, I'm with Luna. I'm not going anywhere until morning," he said.
Kiba stared at them in disapproval before he said, "Suit yourselves," He then jumped out of the debris and out of sight. "Kiba!" Toboe exclaimed, taking a step forward. "Just let him go," Hige groaned.
"But why?" Toboe asked, turning his head towards Hige. "Right now the only thing that he can see right now is Cheza. It doesn't matter if we're with him or not," Hige answered, closing his eyes.
Luna looked at the tan-colored wolf, seeing that he was fed up as much as she was. They should've known that Kiba would've gone on without them. Luna remembered how her father, the alpha of her old pack, would never make his family walk out in a blizzard if someone was hurt or worse.
"Look, let's just rest until the storm blows over," Tsume muttered. The pack all laid down in their wolf forms, ready to get some sleep. A few hours later, Luna had woken up while the others were still asleep.
She noticed that she was sleeping next to Tsume again, which she didn't mind. She felt more comfortable sleeping with him as opposed to sleeping alone. She stands on her paws, which were still sore from running. Her shoulder was still sore and she limped to the front entrance, feeling the cold wind blow on her black fur.
She sat on the edge in her human form. The storm was beginning to die down. Then, she heard somebody come from behind her. It was Tsume, he had felt her move.
"Tsume?" she said, looking over her shoulder, "What're you doing up?" "Because you're up. You should be resting," Tsume said, sitting next to her, rather close.
"Tsume, I've gotten worse cuts than this. I'm fine," Luna said, subconsciously rubbing her sore shoulder. Tsume saw the uncomfortable look on her face. It was still bothering her.
"Your shoulder is still bothering you," Tsume said. Luna tried to make it to where it wasn't bothering her, but she couldn't hide it from him. "My shoulder is fine, Tsume," Luna stubbornly said. She wasn't giving in.
They stayed silent for a little while. They looked at the snowy tundra in front of them. Luna felt the need to ask him about the events of earlier.
"Tsume, back there... why did you help me? You could've just left me," Luna said, making a good point. Tsume's eyebrows knit together. She was right; he could've just let her fight on her own and not worry about it.
"I... felt like I had to. Something in me told me to... Tsume started, feeling his heart speeding up. Luna scooted closer to him until there was little to no space between the two wolves.
"I understand...you did what you had... to do..." she said quietly. Their faces were very close together. Luna then closed off the space between them, pressing her lips to his. Tsume tensed up, wanting to pull away.
Ever since he met her, he was trying hard to keep his distance from her. But he couldn't bear to be separated from her. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him, kissing her back.
It lasted for a few minutes before they pulled apart. This meant that they have fallen for one another, there was no denying it. "Tsume... Do you... want to go someplace private...? So we don't wake the others up?" Luna asked, wanting to be alone with Tsume, who she wanted as her mate. "You sure you want to? You know the runt's got good hearing," Tsume chuckled, wrapping a muscular arm around her waist to pull her closer.
"Yes, Tsume. Let's go around the back," Luna replied, wrapping a hand around his neck.
Tsume smiled seductively and picked the black she-wolf up and they jumped out of the house of debris. They went around to another small shelter made of debris and they went inside. He set her down on the icy ground. "You sure you want to do this? We can't take this back once we do this," he said doubtfully. "Tsume, I'm sure. What's the problem?" she said with a shrug.
"It's just... I've never cared for anybody like how I care for you. I'm scared of getting attached to another wolf," Tsume admitted, looking away for a moment. Luna looked at him sympathetically. What could've happened to him to make him say that? "Hey... it's okay..." she said, pulling him into a hug. He hugged her back tightly.
Luna's breath hitched in her throat when she felt his embrace. "I ain't going anywhere anywhere anytime soon. You're the most amazing wolf I've ever met," she said sincerly. "Really?" he whispered in her ear. "Yeah... there's something about you that... draws me in, y'know?" she said, tears rising to her green eyes, "There's something about you... that's special to me,"
She pulls apart a little bit, glancing down at the ragged star shaped scar that was in the middle of his chest. "You don't have to look at it..." he whispered, pulling her close to him. Luna grabbed his leather shirt and nuzzled against him. "Tsume... I love you..." she said quietly, holding in a way that said she was gonna lose him if she let go.
"Luna... I love you too..." he replied, finding it tough to say those words. He hugged her back to reassure her that he was there. "Words can't describe just how make me feel, Luna," he continued, "You're beautiful, brave, smart, caring, and selfless. You aren't afraid to defend the wolves you care about most,"
Luna's face went red when he said this. He really did care about her. They break the hug and stare at each other for a moment before Luna brought her face closer to him and kissed him deeply. Tsume kissed her back instantly, closing his eyes slowly as he indulged into her affection, just like he did.
Tsume pushed his tongue into her mouth with palpable eagerness. He was taking in her sweetness like before. His hand slid from her back to the back of her head, tenderly stroking her long black hair that was shaggy on her head. Luna's body shivered at the affectionate touch.
The kiss became more heated, making Tsume moan into her mouth. It felt amazing. They lowered themselves on the ground to where Tsume was on the bottom while Luna laid atop of him.
There was no space between the two wolves, which was fine with them. Tsume spread his legs out a bit, bending his legs a bit so they would support her. After a few minutes, they broke the kiss for much needed air, but it was obvious that they wanted to keep touching each other.
Tsume stared at Luna hungrily, knowing what was about to happen. "Tsume, since we're leaving in the morning, why don't we make this special?" she said as a suggestion. "Hell yes. I'd like that. Let's make it special right now..." Tsume replied, kissing her again. She kissed him back, running her fingers through his silver hair. She giggled in a cute way. He wasn't going to let Luna do all the work, besides, what's the fun in it?
He kissed her left cheek, and trailed down to her neck, carefully licking it to savor the silkiness in her skin. He could tell that little movement excited her because of a moan she made. He pulled away and looked down at her, taking every second that they still had their clothes on. It'd be more exciting to mate in their human form as opposed to their wolf forms.
His hand slid up her clothed chest until he reached her breast, massaging them gently. Luna was clearly getting worked up and she gasped from being touched like this. "There's something I need to do but you gotta stop touching me," Luna said with a teasing smile.
Tsume got off of her and let her stand up, kinda irritated that she was teasing him like this. She stood in front of him, purposely keeping her back turned towards him. Tsume stared at her hungrily as she removed her jacket then her shirt, tossing them both aside. She then reached behind her back and unclipped her bra, tossing it aside.
Tsume couldn't help himself. He stood up and walked up behind the black she-wolf, and stood behind her and groped her, catching her by surprise. "Hey, I wasn't done," she giggled. "Neither was I..." he said, looking at her from the side. Tsume's hands felt up her belly, her sides, and her chest as he groped her breasts again, kissing her neck from behind.
As he kisses her neck from behind, he teasingly slid his hand to Luna's tight jeans and slowly unbuttoned them, pulling them down to her underwear. "Don't you think it's unfair that you're still dressed and I'm almost naked?" Luna said, reached behind her to touch his cheek.
"Guess I gotta do something about that, huh?" he said, backing away from her. He removed his leather top, revealing all the muscles on his body. He pushes down the rim of his leather pants and he pushes them down, leaving him only in his underwear. Luna looked between his legs and saw that he was very hard. Luna walked up to him and started to kiss him again.
He kissed her back roughly, his hand traveling down her bare back until he reached her buttocks, squeezing them gently. The two wolves got onto the floor again with Tsume above her again, positioning himself between her legs. As they kept making out, Tsume pulled her underwear off and he took his underwear off.
Luna felt Tsume rub his shaft against her slit, getting himself ready to go. That's when he pushed himself inside of her, making her gasp. This was it... they were mated for life now and nothing would seperate them. Tsume kept thrusting into her for about 10 minutes before he climated into her.
After that they went to sleep for the rest of the night.
The next morning, Luna was the first one awake. She felt different; like a claimed wolf. It made her the happiest she's ever felt.
She glanced down at Tsume, her new mate. Her heart was beating faster when she looked at him sleeping. She turned around and kissed him to wake him up.
The Grey wolf kissed her back and wrapped a hand around the back of her neck to deepen the kiss. "Good morning, sleepy head," she joked softly, her green eyes glowing.
"Morning…" he replied, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "How do you feel?" Luna asked, starting to get dressed. "Like a changed wolf. What about you?" He asked.
"I feel like a changed wolf too. Let's meet up with the others before they notice we're gone," Luna replied, pulling her jeans up and buttoning them up.
Tsume stood up and got himself dressed in his leather clothing. After they were dressed, they kissed again before walking out of that debris shelter.
As the two wolves walk to the front, the other three jump out of the debris building. "Where have you two been?" Hige asked, giving them a suspicious look.
Luna's face became bright red. "I-It was cramped in there. We needed more space," she lied and it wasn't disguised. "Luna, your scent's different," Toboe pointed out.
Luna looked at the red wolf with a furrowed eye brow. "How can you tell?" She asked, rubbing the back of her neck. "You and Tsume smell the same," he said.
Tsume and Luna both blushed. "What's going on?" Toboe asked curiously. He
Hige's face suddenly lights up at the two of them. "Oh my God! You two really did it! I can't believe it!" Hige laughed hysterically, holding his waist from laughing so hard.
Luna covered her face and sighed with a shake to her head. "Hige, stop it," she said.
"I can't! This is too good! Two wolves who hated each other's guts are now mates! I just can't believe it!" Hige laughed.
"Porky, shut your damn mouth before we shut it for you," Tsume warned, getting mad. Hige wouldn't stop, pissing them off even further.
Luna reeled her fist back and punched Hige in the nose as hard as she could, knocking the Mexican wolf on his back. "Ow! What the hell was that for?!" He exclaimed, holding himself up by his elbows. His nose was bleeding.
"For not shutting the hell up," she said. Hige got up wiped his nose. "Alright, I get the hint," he grumbled.
"That's what we thought. Let's go get Kiba before he gets himself killed," Luna said.
The five wolves move out to Darcia's Keep in the west. They ran in their wolf forms. Luna was thinking about her being mates with Tsume. She couldn't be happier to have him as her mate, and she thought about their potential pups.
(Darcia's Keep)
By the time they made it, the weather was much better although the sky was still muggy and dark. The five wolves looked up at the creepy noble keep. It looked abandoned, but the wolves weren't fooled judging by the scent.
Tsume held Luna's left hand tightly, keeping her close to him. "This has to be it. His scent is here, but it's faint," Luna said, looking at the Keep. "Looks like this place should be haunted by the ghosts of the Nobles," Hige teased Toboe, giving him a scary look.
"C'mon, don't say stuff like that!" The red wolf exclaimed, cowering down a little. Luna slapped Huge on the chest to shut him up.
For a minute, they walk up to the building and notice a red car sitting in the front. "He's got visitors," Tsume said, looking towards the car.
Blue looked at the car closely before gasping in surprise. She bolted to it, much to the shock of the other wolves. "Huh, what's with her?" Hige said, looking at the others, who looked at the others, who only shrugged. They run to catch up with Blue who was looking through the window, with her hands pressed up the glass.
She sniffed the car in her wolf form before standing in her human forms. "Pops is here," she said, speed walking towards the Keep. Neither could understand why she would want to go back to that human anyway. They know he despises wolves, so why bother?
They go inside the Keep. Hige catches up with Blue, who was walking in a determined stance. "Why the hell are you in a rush?" He asked. "Pops is here. I know he is," she answered.
"Hold on, you're half wolf so why bother going back to him?" Luna asked, letting go of her mates' hand. That's when Blue stopped in her tracks along with the others.
Blue glanced at the black she-wolf for a moment, thinking about what she said. "You're right. I know I'm half wolf. Maybe I shouldn't go back," she replied, looking down for a moment.
"He's probably out here looking for you," Toboe said, sympathetically looking at Blue. Now she looked unsure now if going back is the right thing to do. There was a deafening silence in that dark and damp corridor.
"Well, are you really wanting to be that humans' lapdog again?" Tsume comments. They all look at the Grey wolf with the same expression. As much as Luna loves him, she agreed that it was wrong of him to say.
"Hey, lay off!" Hige said, glaring at Tsume. "Yeah, Tsume, be quiet! You have no idea what it's like! Neither does Luna!" Toboe agreed, clenching a fist.
Luna looked away for a moment, being reminded of that human girl, Learn. She had a bad feeling of her from the start. "That girl was bad news, Toboe! You know I don't trust humans," she piped in.
"Yeah, guess we don't. But we know now better than being someone's pet," Tsume said with a smirk. "Okay, guys, that's enough. There's more important things to worry about than arguing right now. Let's go get Kiba," Luna said, getting between them.
"Thank you, Luna. I can see why you picked him," Hige said, nodding towards Tsume. They keep walking down the corridor until they hear a gunshot coming from the largest room of this Keep.
The lunar flower scent was growing stronger the further they walked. The pack sprint into the room where said gunshot came from. There also the sound of a sword clashing on the floor, the loud sound echoing throughout the Keep. Darcia was standing next to a fallen Cheza, a large sword in his left hand.
They run into the room and they see Kiba standing in his wolf form in a fighting stance, his tail standing straight up. He had a large cut on his right cheek, the crimson blood staining his snow white fur.
In front of him, was Quent. He aimed his rifle at the white wolf. "It's over, wolf," he said, finger on the trigger. Hub and Cher were there too.
"No, don't!" Blue shouted, jumping in front of Kiba in her wolf form just before Quent could shoot him. The dark blue wolf dog looked at the human, a calm look in her sky blue eyes.
Quent was shocked to see her protecting the very creature he hates most. He still didn't discover that she had wolf blood in her. "B-Blue…" he gasped, lowering his rifle.
"Kiba!" Toboe cried out. Darcia's servant from the far right was holding an orb. She glanced at the Noble, and cried out, "My Lord Darcia!"
A red beam struck the Keep with a sharp and hard hit, shattering the wall and the floor. Kiba's head quickly turns to the right, his wolf ears raised all the way, jaw slightly dropped, his gold eyes raised all the way. He saw that Cheza was missing. "Cheza!" He cried out, running towards her, only to be knocked back by another red beam.
He did a back flip and landed in his human form, kneeled over. The next beam struck near where Cheza was, making his heart jump in his throat.
"CHEZA!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. "Blue, no!" Hige shouted in horror. Luna was trying not to panic because of how much chaos was going on.
Each beam broke more and more of the dark purple flooring. Darcia had gathered his love, Harmona, the woman in that bed with tunes attached to her and walked our of the shattered glass windows.
The wolves had no choice but to flee because the Keep was crumbling before there very eyes. They ran down a lcorridor, pieces of the ceiling was falling down, causing smoke to fall.
Tsume kept ahold of Luna's hand tightly. They saw Kiba take off in another direction, much to their shock. "Kiba, what the hell are you doing?!" Luna shouted. "KIBA!" Tsume screamed as more debris fell, blocking their view from the white wolf.
Tsume grabbed Luna and moved her out of the way before some debris fell on her. They couldn't go back for Kiba; it was too late for that. Blue was gone also, getting lost in the debris. She had been found by Cher and Hubb after she defended them. She had been knocked out and taken by the noble soldiers.
The remaining wolves make it out of there without a scratch. The entire Keep had fallen until there was nothing left.
It was quiet now. The only sounds were the wind blowing and the water on either side of the walk way gently moving. The remaining ones were the wolves and Quent.
Luna stood next to Tsume, whose right arm was wrapped around her waist. They faced away from Hige and Toboe, who was calling out for Kiba. He didn't receive a response.
It started to snow gently as Toboe howled mournfully to the sky. Nothing seemed to go right for them.
