Chapter 9- Morphin time?

Angel Grove

"Hold on Tommy. What the hell?" Zack cried out, picking his jaw up from the shock he was in. He eyed his mastodon power coin wedged into an ever so familiar power morpher.

"Does that mean what I think it means?" Adam said, staring at his Zeonizer.

"The old morphers and the power coins were corrupted and destroyed? How is this possible?" Billy asked. Astounded to see the power morphers laid on the table.

"Guys relax." Tommy said with a laugh. He held his hand up to silence everybody's questions. "Let me explain."

Tommy took a big inhale and began to explain how the impossible became possible.

"Well, you remember when I stole Jason for that mission to stop Serpenterra?" He addressed the mighty morphin power rangers, who nodded in response. "Well, when I said that Zordon's sacrifice may have restored the power coins, I was mostly wrong."

The original green ranger saw the baffled expression on his friends faces, he quickly carried on. "Well, apart from my time studying paleontology, I work with a close friend, Hayley, who knows a hell of a lot about science, I also work with the time force rangers and other current rangers to learn more about everything related to the power rangers and the morphing grid. I learnt that my dragon power coin was damaged yes, but somehow still alive. I remember that our power coins were damaged, but that Zordon had copied the Tyrannosaurus, mastodon, sabre toothed tiger and pterodactyl power coins and gave the copies to the new rangers, leaving the original coins with the original rangers.".

"But Tommy, once the morphin grid was disabled, our power coins were left inoperative." Billy said.

"Not inoperative, but dormant. Our Dino coins," Tommy looked at Billy, Kat, Adam, Tanya and Rocky. "Were indeed dead, but the ones that Jason and the others had, were still alive. I sent teams to the desert of despair to find ninjor and ask for his help in restoring the powers."

"Whoah, you found Ninjor again?" Kimberly asked, clasping her mouth with her hand.

"It was difficult, especially without the map, but yes, we did. Ninjor was hesitant at first, he thought it unethical to reignite the power coins due to the fact that the original owners of the power coins had basically retired from ranger duty, but we heard rumblings that new evil powers were waking up. Ninjor, hearing that evil was not dead, eventually decided to help. He didn't want to create new power coins like he did before, but using the power of the morphing grid which was still alive, he harnessed the powers of the power coins that you guys had, and restored them to pretty much full power. "

"So, the coins we have? They're working?" Kimberly asked.

"Yep."

"Wow. That's crazy dude." Jason said.

"How come you didn't tell us of this before?" Trini asked.

"And how come you had my power coin?" Jason shot Tommy a very confused look. "I had that thing locked away, safe as houses."

"Well, ninjor did the Tyrannosaurus power coin first since it is the most powerful. Hence why I had your power coin. Ninjor, being the original creator of the coin, somehow teleported it to his temple. He wanted to see how effective it's restoration was before he restored the rest." Tommy explained.

"What, so Jason was just a lab rat and you risked him when you called him for that mission?" Kimberly asked, looking annoyed.

"No Kim. It's not like that." Tommy replied.

"Then what is it like?" Kimberly asked, calming down when she felt Jason place his hand over hers.

"We knew that the powers were restored, we knew that the T-Rex power coin was powerful. But we had to check if it was as powerful as it once was. How is it Jase?" Tommy asked his friend.

"Man, it felt as good today as it did nearly ten years ago when I first used it." Jason replied, his hand still clutching Kim's, his lips curved into a smile.

"There you go. I felt it today when you morphed. I'm sure all of the originals did.." Tommy probed.

"Now that you mention it, I was unsure if it was just affect of seeing Jason morph, but yes, I felt a surge disseminate throughout my anatomy." Billy answered.

"Yes, I didn't get all of that, but same here." Kim said.

Trini and Zack nodded their heads in agreement.

"So the powers are back?" Zack asked.

"I wouldn't say back exactly, I mean, they are back and they are powerful. But they certainly shouldn't be overused."

"What about the Zeonizers?" asked Rocky.

"The Zeonizers and the zeo powers were never destroyed. The zeo powers were literally the opposite of the power coins. They were too strong, too powerful, too unstable for our human bodies to comprehend. Hence why Zordon chose to give us the turbo powers, they were more stable, more suitable for human life forms to use without risk." Tommy explained.

"So if I understand correctly. We can't use the Zeonizers?" Kat asked, glancing at the Zeonizer.

"No, we can use them. But only in cases of pure emergency. We must use them very sparingly. The power coins are much more stable and for some reason, the original rangers merged with their powers much more than we did our Zeo powers."

"Totally prodigious." Billy said with amazement.

The original rangers shares looks of excitement with each other. The fact that they could morph again to protect themselves and each other as well as angel grove, was a very comforting thought.

"So what do we about Aisha. Can we go and save her?" Rocky asked.

"Where are they even based. They didn't give us any indication of their whereabouts." Jason asked.

"That's the problem. They could be anywhere." Tommy replied.

"Guys, the fact that the putty patrollers were created, and in very high numbers, this indicates that they are on the moon or in close proximity to the moon." Billy said excitedly, getting up from the wall and pacing around.

"Why the moon?" Rocky asked

"If my memory serves me correctly, I remember that putty patrollers are made from clay that is found on the moon. Furthermore, the putties can only be brought to life by the machine that Finster used to create the monsters. That indicates the old moon palace to be the likely stronghold." Billy explained.

"But the moon Palace appeared uninhabited when we passed it by during the last mission." Jason explained, recalling the memory of the red rangers inside the astro megaship, flying past the quiet, dark moon palace.

"Yeah. It looked dead." Tommy added.

"Well, what do we expect. Scorpina and Silverdar or whatever his name is, to put out thanksgiving decorations and turn on lightbulbs?" Rocky scoffed.

"You have a valid point, Rocky. But I remember when Rita, Zedd and even Mondo were living in that castle, yes it was dark, but you could tell that someone was in it." Tommy explained,

"Don't you think it was a bit too quiet though Tommy?" Jason looked at his friend with a suspicious glare that was reciprocated.

"You know what, you're right. It was too dark, too quiet."

"Almost as though someone didn't want to be seen."

Tommy nodded his head in agreement. "We'll figure that out too, but be that as is may, It's going to be tough to get to the moon if that's where they are." Tommy replied.

"Can't we ask Ninjor to help us?" Rocky questioned.

"Unfortunately, not. Ninjor has disappeared again. He may have gone back to the power temple but we don't know for sure. It would be too risky to send a team out again only to go for nothing."

"We can't just sit here and do nothing!" Rocky shouted.

"What about Andros? Would he be able to take us in the astro megaship?" Jason asked.

Tommy looked at his friend and smiled. "That's what I was thinking."

"Cool, let's do this." Rocky said, now excited but with a look of determination in his eyes.

"Hold on Rocky. I have to contact Andros and find out if he and the astro megaship are close by and able to take us. The problem I have, is that the astro megaship is huge. If they are at the moon, they will see us coming from a mile off." Tommy said.

"So what do we do?" Kat asked, getting more and more worried about her good friend Aisha.

"I will get in touch with Andros and ask for him to assist us in finding out more about this situation. And then once we know about what's going on, we can form a plan to rescue Aisha." Tommy explained, slowly getting up from the sofa.

"Okay. Please hurry Tommy." Rocky said.

"I will. Everyone, take your morphers and Zeonizers. Keep them on you and only use them in cases of extreme emergency. Especially the Zeonizers." Tommy said, Kat linking arms with him and helping him to his feet.

"Yes master." Jason said with a chuckle.

"Sorry guys. I'm just so used to dealing with the younger ranger teams. I know I don't need to explain this to you." Tommy said, his face glowing red.

"Yes, your majesty." Zack responded with a wink.

"Oh, stop it." Tommy blushed again and smiled at his friends. "I'll get in touch with you guys as soon as I get some information. This is a time to be positive. We have basically got our powers back."

"Yeah. We got this." Jason added.

The rangers all left Jason and Kimberly's apartment, in higher spirits than when they first arrived. The fact that they all had their powers back was something to celebrate, something to enjoy knowing they could protect themselves and their city.

The news about Aisha had really rocked them all, but knowing that there was a good chance of finding out more and possibly rescuing their good friend, had improved their mood.

Zack and Trini were the last ones to leave the apartment. Kimberly tried with all her might to get them to stay for a sleepover, but knew that with everyone working the next day, it wasn't going to happen.

"Hey, cheer up." Jason said, making his way into their bedroom.

Kimberly looked up and smiled, "I am cheered up. Trini may have left, but at least I'm all alone with you now."

"Yeah, thank god. It's seemed like ages since we last had some alone time together."

"Well, we did have a very fun afternoon and umm, a different evening."

Jason moved to set next to his fiancé on their bed. "Yes, we sure did. How are you feeling?" He asked, eyeing her abdomen.

"I'm okay. And no, before you ask, I don't have the peas. They got soggy so I threw them away." She replied.

"Oh damn. I had plans for them." Jason smiled, moving his gaze up to the beautiful doe brown eyes he had loved for so long.

"Oh yeah. You were saying?"

"Saying what?"

"What you would do with them?" Kimberly giggled and budged closer to Jason.

"I would cook them."

Kimberly slapped Jason's leg and let out a sigh. "No, you said you were going to suck them out of my, something?"

"Ummm I can't remember." Jason said, smirking at his wife-to-be, who was now inches away from his face.

"Okay then. Well, remember that you said you wouldn't kick my ass." Kimberly glanced down at Jason's lips. "You said you would do other things to it?"

"Yes, when you heal." Jason replied, imitating his partner's body language and gaze and looking down at her lips, they looked so delectable to him. He knew very well what he was doing right in this very moment.

"Jason, don't fuck with me right now. I'm horny as hell and I want you." Kimberly let out a little exhale as she felt Jason place his hand on her inner thigh. "I don't want you, I need you. So do the things to me that you were teasing me about earlier, or so help me God, I will get kick your ass and get what I need so badly right now."

Jason didn't reply with words, he caught her lips in a greedy, incendiary kiss and threw her onto the bed, he pinned her hands down with his hands and resumed the kiss. The heat between them right now, could have been ignited and blown up by the flicker of a match, their hunger for each other was off the charts. It increased even more when Jason moved his lips to the crook of her neck which was just begging for some attention. Kimberly let out a loud pant as she felt every hair stand up just as Jason lightly caressed her soft skin on her neck with his lips. Swapping between gentle kisses and nibbles.

Jason didn't waste time, whilst continuing to pay attention to her neck, he ripped open Kimberly's top, pulling the buttons off her shirt, tearing it off and throwing it over his shoulder onto the floor.

"Hey, I. Liked. That. Shirt." Kimberly said in between heavy panting.

"I'll get you a new one." Jason replied, undoing the button on her jeans and pulling down the zipper. He then let go of her hands and roughly turned her over onto her front with such velocity that Kimberly's breath was stolen right from her mouth. She panted quickly when she felt Jason kiss her from the neck, moving lower with each kiss.

"Are you okay? How's your tummy?" Jason asked her, pausing just after kissing her lower back. His husky, almost groaning tone, increased her already insatiable appetite for him.

"I'm fine. Please don't stop." Kimberly panted, her eyes now closed, her body vibrating with excitement as Jason moved lower caressing each butt cheek with gentle kisses, then suddenly, he sunk his teeth into her right butt cheek.

"Ouch."

"Shall I stop?" Jason asked her, his mouth hovering millimeters away from her skin.

"Hell no." Kimberly replied.

Jason grabbed her by the wrists and pinned her arms behind her back as he used his mouth to please her. Kimberly groaned loudly, feeling Jason's tongue hitting all of the sensitive areas of her female anatomy. Every few seconds or so, he would bite, slap or suckle her buttocks and move back to pleasing her. The pain mingled with pure pleasure drove Kimberly insane. She had never experienced anything like this before in her entire life, she had never even thought about it.

"No, don't stop Jase." She tried to look back at Jason as he had stopped pleasing her with his tongue, but instead, he forced her head back into the duvet.

"OH. MY. GOD!" She screamed as she felt Jason enter inside her, he pushed forward, rolling both their eyes back, and grabbed a hold of her hair, pulling it backwards as he started to thrust. Kimberly couldn't believe what Jason was doing to her and she was even more shocked that she was enjoying every second of it.

Moon Palace

Dungeons

"Help." A feeble voice broken out from the cage in which the former yellow ranger was in, penetrating the darkness in the dungeons.

"Help."

"Scorpina, help. I can't breathe."

Aisha was on her knees, her hands wrapped around the bars of her prison. Her voice was abandoning her as she continued to shout for help. She was slowly blacking out from a lack of energy, her body numb, she collapsed onto the cold, hard floor of the dungeons. Nobody to help her, nobody to check if she even had a pulse.

Angel Grove

The next couple of days went pretty smoothly for the rangers. Everybody went to work, lived their normal, peaceful lives. It was very calm and relaxed so Trini and Kimberly decided to meet up for a little Friday afternoon lunch together in Angel Grove. Kimberly had her day off from her job at the florists and Trini was now finished from her occupation as a research scientist.

They found a lovely little café to spend their afternoon at.

"So, is it weird working in the same place as Billy?" Kimberly asked, sitting down into a cute, white wooden seat at the table, adjusting her pale pink scarf around her neck.

"Well, we're not really working at the same place. There's loads of departments and I rarely ever see Billy." Trini answered, picking up a menu.

"Aaah, that's a bummer. But I always knew you two would end up working in a similar job." Kimberly said, reading the lunch menu.

"Yeah, we're both geeks." Trini said with a shy smile.

"Girl, to be dead honest with you, we're all geeks." The two friends shared a little laugh.

"What will you two young ladies be having for lunch today?" a server asked, glancing at Kimberly more than a few times.

"Ummm, I'll go for the special cobb salad, with feta instead of blue cheese, hold the bacon." Kimberly answered. "Oh and a diet orange soda to drink please." She quickly added.

"No problem. Eating healthy I see?" The waiter replied.

"Yes, I do try my best." Kimberly replied.

"Well, it's paying off ma'am." The waiter smiled at Kimberly and turned to Trini." And what would the other lovely lady like to order?"

"Could I have the fish tacos and a root beer please." Trini answered, fighting her hardest to hide her smile.

"Of course, you can ma'am. I'll send this order to the chef, it shouldn't be longer than 15 minutes." The server replied, stealing one last glance at Kimberly before going to the back

"Oh my gawd. What a creep!" Kimberly said as soon as the server disappeared.

Trini couldn't hide her amusement anymore and let out little chuckle. "Kim, seriously. Some things never change. You've always made the boys go crazy about you."

"What!" Kimberly said in disbelief. "Excuse me. From what I hear, the whole of Switzerland went crazy over you."

"I wouldn't say the whole of Switzerland, maybe about half of Europe though. I did date a British guy you know." Trini replied with a wink as the waiter arrived with their drinks.

"Here are your drinks ladies." He said, putting down the drinks. Kimberly totally ignored him as he placed the orange soda in front of her. "The food will be out in 10 minutes."

"Thank you." Trini replied.

"Hey, that was rude." Trini said to Kimberly once the waiter disappeared again.

"It's not rude. I'm getting married." Kimberly replied.

"I know. But that doesn't mean we have to be mean to people who like us. You just have to act normal and make it known to them that you're married, or engaged in your case." Trini said

"How do I do that?" Kimberly asked.

"Just make sure they see your ring, or add it into a conversation."

"Aaah right. Okay, I'll try that. Anyways, yes so, you were saying. You dated a British dude?" Kimberly asked, gently slapping her friend's forearm.

"Yes, I did. Harry." Trini answered with a smile

"How was it?" Kimberly questioned, taking a sip of her orange soda.

"It was nice. Well, until Zack told me his true feelings and I dropped everything for Zack."

"No way. Seriously?".

"Yes way." Trini sipped on the her drink and smirked at her friend. "Anyway. We're here to talk about you and Jason. Not me and Zack."

Kimberly began to fiddle with the straw in her drink. "Oh are we?"

Trini playfully smacked Kimberly's hand. "Yes, we are. Tell me Everything!"

"Like what?"

"Like, why the hell you two can't get your hands off of each other and are obviously checking each other out all the time."

"Oh shit, is it that obvious?" Kimberly asked, her cheeks beginning to redden.

"Not really. Guys are oblivious to these things, but I know you both so well. So, naturally I can see." Trini said, giving her best friend a wink.

"Oh. Right. But you used to say that before in high school."

"Yes, but that was different. That was shy tension, you obviously liked it each other but you didn't know what to do. This is severe sexual tension. It's like you're starving and you see each other as big juicy steaks. You have to spill the beans" Trini said in a hushed tone.

"Well, you know how shy and reserved Jason is…" Kimberly said, twirling her straw around in the glass.

"Yeah…"

"Well, look at this." Kimberly loosened the scarf around her neck to reveal some red marks.

"Oh wow. I was wondering why you wore a scarf. It's only September." Trini moved in closer to her friend. "They're some deep hickeys."

"They're not hickeys, well, some of them are." Kimberly giggled and got in even closer to Trini. "He has this really dominating, intense side come out when you know, we're making love. And I'm always teasing him and egging it on. And last night, Trini, he blew my fucking mind."

"Wow, that's crazy. Who'd have thought?" Trini said, wide eyed.

"I know right. When we first started, you know, in Florida."

Trini nodded her head, understanding what Kim was referring to.

"Well, we were making sweet, slow, sensual love. But I always knew he had something hidden away inside him. He became more and more dominant and aggressive in bed. But last night, he erupted it was wild."

Trini sat there, the mouth wide open. " I kinda regret asking now." She said.

Kimberly looked at her friend, totally bewildered.

"He's like my brother you know." Trini said, scrunching up her nose. "But I really didn't expect that. Jason out of all people."

"Yeah. He is so amazing." Kim said, blushing and quickly taking a sip from her glass of soda. "I never thought I'd be into this kinda thing, but it is amazing. Jason is amazing. And he's well equipped too." Kimberly said the last sentence in a total whisper, an inch away from her friend's ear.

"Well, I don't want to sound like a party pooper, you don't have anything to compare it to do you?" Trini teased her friend but Kimberly quickly ducked her head.

"Oh shit. Who?" Trini inquired, her eyes wide open in shock.

"Just some guy I dated for like a month, about two years after me and Jason had that fight." Kimberly revealed.

"And?" Trini pressed.

"Well first off, I want to make it clear, we only made it to the second base. I saw it and touched it but that's it."

"And?" Trini repeated.

"And, He didn't even compare to Jason." Kim smiled mischievously. "Either Jason is huge and that guy was tiny, or my baby sure knows how to use what he has."

"Well, you seem to have hit the jackpot."

"I have." Kimberly smiled and began to daydream about her husband-to-be.

"And girl, trust me. It ain't all about the size. No matter what size a guy is, he has to know how to use it."

"Oooh, are you speaking from experience?" Kim teased.

"No. Zack is well equipped and very able also." Trini lowered her face and avoided her friend's gaze

"Oh no here he comes." Kimberly saw from the corner of her eye, the server coming towards them with their lunch. "Quick, let's talk about Jason."

"We were talking about Jason." Trini replied, unable to hide her grin.

"Well, let's amp it up. Ask me when I'm getting married and make sure he hears it."

"So Kim, I'm dying to find out. When are you two actually going to get married?" Trini asked in a louder than usual tone, the server a meter or two away.

"Oh, we're going to get married real soon. He knows how fussy I am. He's making sure our wedding will be absolutely perfect."

"Your cobb salad ma'am." The sever placed the salad in front of Kimberly, his eyes locked on to the plates of food.

"And the California fish tacos for you ma'am. Enjoy your meal ladies."

The server left without another word.

"See, well done. Welcome to the club." Trini said joyfully.

"I'm learning. I'm just glad I have a best friend who always looks after me." Kimberly said, picking up a fork.

"Speaking of," Trini moved in closer again. "Are you guys using contraception?"

Kimberly nodded her head. "Yeah. I'm taking the pill. We hate condoms."

"Why?" Trini asked, squeezing some zesty lime onto her tacos.

"Well, it's just that, it's latex you're making love to then aren't you." Kimberly giggled, starting to consume her lovely, fresh salad.

"Yeah, you have a point. A big point."

The two best friends continued their lunch, giggling away talking more about their partners, their lives and making up for the few years they had spent apart. It was very overdue.

Their server was very pleasant and they even left him a generous tip.

"That was lovely catching up Trini. We haven't done this for-"

"Seven years." Trini completed the sentence for her friend.

"Wow. It's been seven years?" Kimberly asked as they walked over to Trini's car.

"Yep. We had our phone calls and letters but it's been seven years since we actually had a girls day out with just the two of us." Trini said, opening her car doors.

"That's crazy. But you know what."

"What?"

"We continued on like we are still at high school."

Trini smiled as she got in to the driver's side. "That's a sign of true friendship."

"It sure is. I love you Trini." Kimberly said, strapping on the seatbelt just as a notification sound came from her friends phone.

"I love you too. Oh, it's Billy." Trini said, reading the text message, her huge smile vanished. "Marge has left Billy."

The girls quickly drove and got to Billy's house as fast as they could and knocked on the door, to be greeted by their friend, tears streaming down his face. They quickly enveloped him in a warm, comforting embrace, Billy eventually inviting them inside and into the living room whilst they sat on a sofa together, Billy in the middle with his friends on either side.

"I just had to tell her you know. It had to be done." Billy removed his glasses and wiped his tears with his sleeve. Kimberly retrieved a tissue for him from her purse. "Thank you, Kim."

"No problem Billy. Are okay? She didn't her angry did she?" the pink ranger asked.

"No she didn't display any angry or violent behavior. Nor did she shout. She just told me that I had broken her heart into a million pieces and that she doesn't want anything to do with me anymore."

Trini and Kimberly looked at each other, unsure of how to make their friend feel better.

"It'll take time Billy. Time is a healer" Trini said.

"It certainly is. Give her some space now Billy. She'll come around eventually and speak to you when she's ready." Kim added.

"I know. It's just, I genuinely did love her, I just love Dan in a contrasting and different way. I hate myself for causing her this pain."

"No Billy, don't hate yourself" Trini responded.

"You are a lovely guy. But we can't help who we fall in love with. If it was that easy, heartbreak wouldn't exist." Kimberly said.

"Exactly. You will both get over this in time Billy. You have us and I presume you have Dan?" Trini questioned.

Billy nodded his head. "But you know, with all this evil starting up. I'm beginning to feel lonely again, like before and it's just so difficult."

"What do you mean?" asked Kimberly.

Billy shuffled his feet nervously. "Well, like you all have power ranger partners. Adam and Tanya, Kat and Tommy, You and Zack, You and Jason. But even when we were rangers, it was always obvious that you guys were going to be together, and I couldn't be happier for you. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, I'm so glad you all took your opportunity and are with the people you're meant to be with." Billy smiled up at his friends. "I have just, always been the odd one out."

"Billy Cranston! No matter what happens, no matter where life takes us, we will always be family. You will never be the odd one out." Trini cried out rather loudly.

"We're not just best friends Billy, we're family, we're your sisters. You should never feel like you're alone or you have nobody to talk to. You are welcome to our homes and in our lives no matter what." Kimberly explained.

"Take today for example. You text us, and we were here in ten minutes. Doesn't that show how much we love you?" as soon as Trini spoke these words, tears began to escape Billy's steely blue eyes.

"They're tears of happiness. Don't worry guys." Billy sobbed. "That means the world to me."

"You mean the world to us. Seriously, when you want to talk about these things, just call one of us, come see us or we can come down and see you." Kimberly said, wrapping an arm around her lifelong friend.

"Thank you. It's going to be tough but I think I will get through this." Billy said, drying away his tears.

"You WILL get through this!" Trini joined in and placed her as arm around the blue ranger.

Ring ring

A phone call interrupted their sweet moment of bonding.

"Guys, it's Jason. He's probably just wondering where I am." Kimberly said, sliding her phone out of her pocket.

"Welcome to the life of the engaged." Billy said.

"It only gets worse. We're like their mothers." Trini said as her and Billy giggled.

"Oh, stop it." Kimberly flipped up her phone and answered the call. "Hi Jase. Have you finished work."

"Hey, yeah I have. Where are you Kim?"

"I'm with Trini and Billy at Billy's place. Why? Are you okay"?

"See. That's mothering behavior."

Kimberly ignored her friends teasing.

" Yeah, I'm fine. Ummm, Tommy just called me. They're on their way. They have information. We need to meet them on the astro megaship. Tell Trini and Billy too. I'll call Zack."

Kimberly told Trini and Billy what Jason had just revealed.

"Are you okay with this Billy. Are you up for it?" Kimberly asked.

"Yes. I think I require a distraction." Billy responded.

Jason met up with his friends and Billy drove them all to the site of the astro megaship on the outskirts of Angel Grove near the hills and mountains they were so familiar with. A stone's throw away from their old command center.

"Man, what I would give to have the command center back." Jason said, exiting the car and shielding his eyes from the bright, late afternoon sun.

"That would be most beneficial and extraordinary." Billy said, locking his car and walking around to the other side to stand next to Jason and Kimberly.

"Where is it? The astro megaship." Kimberly put her hand to her forehead and looked around at the mountains in front of them.

"Tommy gave these exact coordinates. It should be right in front of us." Jason answered.

"This is weird." Trini said, moving to stand next to Billy.

A loud hissing noise startled them, and sure enough, the astro megaship appeared in front of them.

"Whoah. Totally prodigious." Billy said with a smile as the door to the front of the ship opened.

"Hey guys." Tommy came into view from inside the megaship. "Come in." He said.

"How did you. Where did you." Jason stuttered.

"The astro megaship was in cloak mode. Pretty awesome huh?" Tommy said with a grin.

"Most impressive." Billy said, walking into the megaship.

"You'll be used to these things right Billy. Having spent time on Aquitar?" Trini probed, keeping close to him.

"Oh yes. Most certainly." Billy replied, looking around in awe as he and his friends made their way through what looked like normal, everyday corridors.

"Wait til you get inside the control room." Tommy winked at his friends.

"This is so cool." Kimberly told Jason. "How come you never told me about it?" she asked him.

"You never asked." Jason smiled at his partner, ready for the smack of the chest that found its target as usual.

"Here we are." Tommy entered some numbers on a key pad, and the door to the main room opened.

"Rangers!" Was the first thing they heard. A little robot came running over to them and put its arms around them.

"Alpha? This cannot be." Billy said as he hugged the little automaton.

"It is. I missed you guys." The little robot said, letting his friends go.

"How is this possible?" Billy asked.

Tommy moved to sit down at one of the chairs surrounding a round table, joining Kat and Rocky who waved at their friends. Zack, Adam and Tanya were at work, so they missed out.

"Take a seat guys."

The rangers took a seat, trying to absorb everything they had just experienced.

"Well, this is alpha 7. We basically redesigned alpha 5 and gave him a few upgrades." Tommy explained.

"But I'm still the same old me and I haven't had any memory loss." Alpha said in his familiar robotic, but almost human voice. "I have been assisting Andros with his missions and goals to protect his planet KO 35 and our solar system."

"That's so cool alpha. We're so glad to see you." Kimberly said.

"Most certainly. We missed you." Billy added.

"I missed you too Rangers." Alpha replied with a sniffle just as the door opened behind them.

"Rangers, this is Andros. The red space ranger." Tommy said.

The rangers got up and greeted their host.

"Nice to see you again Andros. Though I wish it was for a better reason." Jason said, shaking his hand.

"Hello Jason. I hope one day we can meet for more positive reasons." Andros replied.

"Hey, I'm Kimberly." The pink ranger shook Andros's hand.

"Aaah yes, Kimberly. Heard very good things about you madame." Andros replied with a smile.

"Geez really?" Kimberly replied, glancing at Jason who gave her an innocent smile.

"Most certainly."

"Hello, I'm Trini." The yellow mighty morphin power ranger greeted the red space ranger with a bright smile and a handshake.

And finally, Billy introduced himself.

"Billy. The original blue ranger? The smartest man in our galaxy so I've heard. It's great to finally meet you."

"Wow, that's some high praise. You have humbled me Andros. I've heard many great things regarding yourself also." Billy replied.

"Guys, Alpha and Andros have found something very interesting that may help us." Tommy said, everyone taking their seats once more.

"I have been monitoring the moon, specifically Rita and Zedd's old moon Palace." Alpha explained. "The moon Palace appears totally empty and devoid of any life."

"Until we saw this. DECA, please play the footage." Andros said, temporarily leaving the rangers guessing who DECA was.

"Of course, Andros." A female voice surrounding them.

"Wow. You have a fully automated central processing unit?" Billy said excitedly.

Andros smiled and nodded his head just before a large screen popped out of nowhere.

"Right, that's the moon Palace. Now watch this." Andros said.

The rangers watched on as the moon Palace appeared to be totally uninhabited, but sure enough, after a few seconds of roaming the moon, Silverback and Scorpina were spotted, walking around on its surface.

"There they are, the bastards." Rocky said.

"So, as you can see team, they are indeed, on the moon." Tommy said, clicking a button that turned off the video.

"So, let's go." Rocky shouted.

"We will, but we need to form a plan." Tommy said

"We need to be careful, the moon palace looks empty but them two freaks are most likely living there." Jason pointed out.

"We have scanned for life sources but found nothing." Alpha said.

"That's strange." Kat said.

"Maybe they are using some form of cloaking spell or mechanism like this megaship." Billy said.

"That is a very likely outcome. That's why we have to be very careful when we are doing this. We can't take the astro megaship and land it on the moon. It's too big, even with the cloaking on, it may still be detected." Andros explained.

"So, what do you suggest?" Jason asked.

"That we take astro megaship and go to just outside of the moons atmosphere, and let the team out on these." Andros pressed a button and a door hissed open behind them.

"Whoah, what are those?" Rocky asked, staring at five jet boards.

Andros smiled brightly as he saw everyone's reaction, "These are the galaxy gliders. See them as motorbikes but in space. And they're very quiet so nobody will hear you coming." The red space ranger stood up and walked over to the contraptions. "We will take the megaship up nearby to the moon, but we will then allow five of you to mount the galaxy gliders and make your way to the moon and to the moon Palace."

"Great, that way, they won't see us coming. This should be a stealth mission. We don't know what else is in that palace." Jason said.

Tommy nodded his head in agreement. "Spot on. We'll get in quietly, hopefully Aisha is there and we can take her, then leave as quiet as church mice."

"The thing we have to sort out is, who and when." Andros said, closing the door of the galaxy gliders and sitting back at the table.

"I'm definitely going, and we should go right now." Rocky stood up, rather hurriedly.

Tommy shook his head. "It's late Rocky, everybody has been working and we're all tired. We need to be fully alert and at our best to carry this out."

"It's late? Our friend is being held captive and it is late?" Rocky crossed his arms. "If I went missing in the next half hour, I would expect you to drop everything and come find me, because I'd do the same for you."

Tommy tried to argue back but Jason stood up and nodded his head. "Rocky is right."

"Not you too Jase. We are endangering ourselves."

He turned to face one of his closest friends. "Tommy, God forbid, if Kat went missing, would you not just drop everything and do anything in your power to find her?" he probed.

Tommy silently nodded his head.

"I'm not going to expect everyone to go. There's only five of those hover board things-"

"Galaxy gliders, sorry." Andros interrupted Jason momentarily.

"And a maximum of five of us can go anyway. I would only want the people to go who are mentally, and physically able to do so. But we must try our best to get Aisha back. If it's too dangerous, we retreat and come back with the suitable numbers and fire power."

"I agree with Jason." Andros professed.

"Yes, Zordon wouldn't have wasted time rangers. If you were able to do so, he would send you on the mission to save your teammate straight away." Alpha explained.

"You're right guys. Sorry." Tommy frowned slightly. "I was just looking out for everybody's best interests."

"I know you were bro." Jason gave his friend a warm smile, who smiled back apologetically.

"So, what's the plan?" Kimberly inquired.

Tommy shrugged his shoulders, "Well, I guess I better ask who's up for this?"

Everyone in the control room raised their hands, excluding alpha.

"Well, there's eight of us, and only five gliders." Tommy remarked. "Andros, you need to be in the ship, we need to make sure we have this huge getaway vehicle ready on a moments notice and have a back up plan here just in case."

"Yes, I understand." Andros accepted.

"Billy, I think you would be brilliant here assisting Andros and Alpha, you're one the smartest and bravest men I know, I'll feel comfortable knowing you're on here." Disclosed Jason.

The blue ranger offered his friend an appreciative smile. "Thank you, Jason. That's fine with me."

"Kimberly is injured from our fight earlier in the week, so I don't recommend that she goes." Jason revealed.

"Hey, it's a little bruise. I'll be fine, I'm not some softy." Kimberly retorted.

Jason looked deep into the eyes of his fiancé. "I know you're not, you're the fiercest person I know, but you need to sit this one out because I don't want you getting hurt. The same goes for anyone else with injuries."

"What about you then, you were in hospital a couple of months ago. And you have a bruise on your already damaged shoulder." Kimberly argued.

"It's mostly gone. Morphing not only protected me, it actually helped me to heal. Trust me, I feel great."

"So, the suit may help me to heal then." Kimberly crossed her arms to her chest and raised her eyebrows.

"Kim, I think he's right." Trini placed her hand on her friend's arm.

"Oh, not you too." Kimberly cried.

"It's two against one." Tommy shrugged and sent Kimberly, who accepted defeat, an apologetic smile, "Is there anyone else with injuries apart from Kim and Rocky?"

"Rocky stood up again, "Hey. We're down to five now, without me there will be four. And there's no way I'm not going."

"The less people there is, the harder for them to see us." Tommy replied.

"I'm not staying here!" Rocky fumed. "There's no way in hell I'm not going to go and save Aisha."

"But your back Rocky. It's already hurting you, I don't want you putting yourself in any harm and making it even worse to the point that you won't be even able to move."

"With all due respect Tommy, that's my decision to make. It's my body, it's my life and it's my friend that is supposed to be in Malawi right now, relaxing and retiring from being a power ranger, but no, she's being held hostage. I will not change my mind." Rocky snapped.

"Okay Rock. Calm down bro, I hear ya. Looks like we have our team." Tommy looked around at everyone. "So, this is the plan. Andros takes us to just outside of the moon's atmosphere. We must be morphed if we want to be able to breathe and defy gravity. We take the galaxy gliders and we glide our way to the moon's surface. Silverback and Scorpina were seen on the moon's surface, so we have to be vigilant and ensure we don't get seen." Tommy let out a little sigh and continued the plan. "If they have Aisha, she must be in the dungeons. I've been in them, they're right in the bowels of that Palace, follow me as we make our way down, hopefully rescue Aisha and get out as fast as possible. One of us takes Aisha on their galaxy glider and give her this oxygen mask." He held up a breathing device that Alpha had made. "And we make our way back to the megaship, hopefully undetected and we get our asses back home."

"If any enemies spot us, we need to be very careful, if we can take them out, we should, but if we can't, we make a run for it. Our prime objective is to save Aisha and bring everyone back safe, not to defeat the enemies." Jason added.

"Exactly. If they want to fight, we can fight once Aisha is safe." Tommy concluded.

"And what do me and Billy do?" Kimberly questioned.

"You, Billy and Andros will assist me on the megaship. Andros is the pilot and needs to be ready to leave on a moment's notice. You and Billy will help me monitor the rangers and look out for any danger, we must all be ready to defend the ship in case of attacks." Alpha 7 answered.

"Right, does everybody know what our plan is and is comfortable with it?" Tommy asked, quickly greeted with choruses of confidence boosting yeses.

Everyone clung onto their seats as the astro megaship began to move towards their target. Jason Lee Scott addressed his teammates once they all morphed.

"We don't know what we're going to face today. So be ready for anything rangers. Aisha needs us, so, let's go save our friend."

I hope everyone's enjoyed this chapter. It's not as action packed as the last one, I think we need a breather. The next chapter though, our rangers are going to save Aisha. I'm sure there will be a decent amount of action in it

Read and review guys.

Peace out
