Thank you to everyone who has followed, favorited, and reviewed.

Thank you "Winter Metor" for your review; I am glad that you liked the first chapter.

Should I add some Gamer Elements to this story? I have not ever written a Gamer Story, but there is always a first time...

(Ju-Long's Point of View)

I woke in a crib a few hours later. I groaned softly. I felt tired, more than what I should have been feeling. Granted, I was using a Bending technique for the first time, so it was to be expected. I knew how to fight due to my past life. I even learned a few of the Martial Art Forms from which the Bending took inspiration.

I sighed and closed my eyes, wishing that I was a teenager or at least older than three or four years old. I wondered if I had any other siblings… or was I the first born? Based on what they said about hiding my Bending, I would assume I was another child. At least the second born.

I could feel some power within me, but it was small, as though I had a teaspoon, but there was an Ocean of power just out of reach.

I kept my eyes closed as I sighed again. I could feel something. I think it is called Chi in this world. Chakra is for Narito. Ki is for Dragon Ball. Then there is The Force, but that is Star Wars.

I could feel the Sun on the other side of the mountain. It was a couple of hours before the Sun peeked over the highest mountain peak on the Island. It was a strange feeling, but one that I assume every single Fire Bender must get used to. But at least I have a natural clock, well, sun dial.

I knew some about the Art of Bending. Based on some of the memories of this body. My mother, Lian, she taught me how to control my breathing since Fire Chi is based on breath. It does not come from the body but from the breath.

My father, Yang, apparently was a General, a high-ranking general.

Both of my parents were Benders and were both Nobles. My mother was also a Chi Blocker, like Ty-Lee. I wanted to learn from her when I could walk more freely. I knew Pressure Points and Nerve Strikes, but I am not sure if that is the same thing. Both my mother and father could Create Lightning.

I really wanted to learn that too, but I had to wait until I grew up more.

I had a Photo-Graphic Memory, also known as an Endemic Memory. As a result, it was nearly impossible for me to forget something unless I was intoxicated or had a brain injury. It had its pro and cons.

Though some of my past life is blurry, like my old name my old family, but the fictional stuff is sticking pretty well. As is everything I learned from school, college, and the Military.

I could mentally see the movements of Iroh as he taught Zuko how to redirect Lightning. I could see the Dancing Dragon Fire Bending Technique. I could remember everything. I could see thousands of hours of reading and writing and watching works of fiction.

I sighed softly as I shook my head, getting out of my own head.

A few minutes later, Lian came into my room with a smile on her face. She said to me, "Good morning, sweetie."

I smiled at her and said softly, not caring if I would shock her if I spoke, knowing that the average baby could begin to talk between twelve and eighteen (12-18) months. "Good morning, mother." It was a bit more formal than what this body would have done, but I could not and would not act like a baby for years.

Lian smiled and said, "Breakfast time. Your father says that he is going to be staying for a month or two."

I grinned at that and said. "Yay!" I knew that I might be able to get them to teach me how to bend, well, at least do something more than breathing.

She chuckled softly at me and smiled. Then, she picked me up with a smile on her face. Lian held me close to her bosom as she carried me to the kitchen.

Lian put me down in Yang's lap, and he tickled my stomach, making me laugh. My father chuckled softly with love in his eyes.

I smiled and hummed as he stopped ticking me. I could feel more power under my skin about a Tea Cup. I knew that a Fire Bender had more power under the Sun and even more with a Comet. I also knew that a Fire Bender could manipulate Fire with their breathing and their temper… though I was curious if there were more ways of controlling Fire and Chi.

I was wondering if a Fire Bender could absorb a flame, adding energy to their own Chi before releasing it out in an even greater bout of Fire than usual. Of course, it was just a theory, but when I get older, I am going to want to check out this plausibility.

My thoughts were interrupted when Yang poked my belly. I glanced up at him, slightly annoyed.

My father said, "You feeling okay, Son? You are being awful quiet." His voice was filled with concern.

I gave him a nod and said, "Yes, Father, I am feeling fine."

Yang arched an eyebrow but said nothing.

Lian looked at her husband, and he looked at his wife. They seemed to communicate silently for several moments, making me curious if I was in a pure Universe… I mean, I guess I did ask for a Night Fury as a companion… so this may not be as pure as I thought… maybe there might be more irregularities than what I have believed. Perhaps there was more to this world than what I assumed. Maybe, just maybe, my foreknowledge was useless. Well, at least some of it.

I felt someone poke my nose, getting my attention. I looked at my mother as she asked me, "You are not acting like your normal self… are you sure you are okay?"

I gave her a small smile and said, "Of course, Mother. I am feeling fine."

They both hummed in acknowledgment, but in their eyes, I could see they did not believe me completely.
