In our last episode, our heroes finally landed in the Insulae Region. Most of them caught their second Pokemon and started making their way to their first gyms. But what awaits them in these Regions, will they reach their first gyms? Or will they get lost in the huge wilderness that makes up the Insulae Region?

Aaron's Group

Aaron woke up from his sleeping bag feeling refreshed and ready. Sleeping outside in the wilderness wasn't something new to him. His mother would often take him camping with his Pokemon.

He heard a slight buzzing noise to his right and slightly glanced in the direction.

He saw Roto Drone 056 hovering over him, a red light glowing slightly. He realized he was being recorded and made sure not to be too obvious he was watching the drone.

Making sure not to overdo the action, he stifled a false yawn and rose from his sleeping bag, stretching like an elastic band.

He walked over to Clara's sleeping bag and slowly shook her awake. She groaned and rolled over, facing him with bleary eyes.

"Is it already time for the next episode?"

"Yes, and we need to get moving. I'll pack up the supplies, you wake up Thomas."

"Isn't it his job to be packing and carrying the supplies?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow and looked at Thomas. "Supposedly he is, but he seems to be a heavy sleeper."

Clara chuckled and went to wake Thomas up. Aaron moved around their camp, rolling up the sleeping bags and putting them in a pile. He sent out his Pokemon, a Chespin and a Hoothoot, and greeted them.

"Good morning guys! Ready to start the day?"

Both Pokemon nodded, and Chespin made an eating gesture. Pointing at Thomas, who was starting to open his bag.

"You want food, can't say you've never expressed that before."

Thomas smiled sleepily as he unpacked cooking supplies. "I'm actually going to make breakfast. Breakfast Curry."

"Oh yes, the three Thomas specials," said Clara, rolling her eyes. "Breakfast curry, Lunch Curry, and Dinner Curry."

Thomas shrugged. "easiest thing to make, never said I was a cook."

Clara sighed, "Anybody else had a good night's sleep?" Her tone indicated that she did not have a good night's sleep.

Aaron shrugged himself. "I did, but there really isn't much you can do about it considering we'll be sleeping outside for the majority of this adventure."

"I'm just looking for the minority where we'll sleep in an actual bed." Clara grumbled as she sat down on the ground.

Aaron played around with Chespin as Thomas cooked. Soon, the beautiful aroma of well done curry filled the air, causing everyone to take a break from whatever they were doing and gather round the pot.

Thomas soon finished the curry and ladled everything into multiple bowls. After waiting for it to dig in.

Thomas had done an excellent job making the curry. Chespin made noises of glee as he ate. The curry even managed to raise Clara's mood slightly.

"This is really good! How come it tastes different from the curry you cooked for lunch and dinner yesterday?"

Thomas gave her a knowing smile. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so I try to make the curry as good as I can."

"So you don't try to make the curry as good as you can for lunch and dinner?"

"What, no! I just use special, rare ingredients that should be saved for the most important meal!"

Aaron figured that this was a good time to interrupt the conversation. "Hey, all this culinary talk is nice, but why don't we forge ahead and explore the cave system?"

What Aaron said was phrased as a suggestion, but he was in fact telling them to get a move on.

They both nodded and stood up. Aaron returned his Pokemon and watched curiously as Clara's Pachirisu ran up her shoulder rather than enter its pokeball.

"It doesn't like entering its pokeball during the day?" Aaron asked. Of course, he'd see the Pachirisu outside its ball, but didn't think it tried to avoid being put into the ball.

"Yeah, he just doesn't want to miss the adventure. Isn't that right Pachy?" she asked, nuzzling his nose with her finger.

Aaron opened his mouth to say she could've picked a better nickname than Pachy, but decided against it. He himself didn't nickname his Pokemon, so what did he know? Instead, he went over to help Thomas and his Krokorok pack up the supplies.

Once they were all set, they looked at the huge cave mouth. Thomas pulled out some flashlights and passed it out to everyone.

"Ready to go?" asked Thomas.

Aaron looked at the cave. "As ready as I'll ever be."

Aaron and his friends walked through the dark cave, their flashlights cutting through the darkness like a blade. They refrained from speaking as their voices would echo through the cave to almost unbearable sound levels.

Aaron shined his flashlight on a stalagmite on the ground, the crystal jutting upwards like a skyscraper.

Clara shone her flashlight everywhere, Thomas figured that she was slightly nervous about being in the cave. He decided not to talk about it, in case she got defensive.

As they walked through the cave, they heard a scratching sound. They wouldn't have heard the noise had it not been for the cave.

Clara screamed and leaped back, dropping her flashlight. Thomas and Aaron covered their ears as her scream reverberated through the cave.

The scratching noise stopped and heavy footsteps echoed through the cave. Clara started shaking in fear as she picked up her flashlight.

The footsteps got louder and louder. Aaron selected one of his pokeballs and held it ready.

A loud smash came from in front of them, the sound causing them to clutch their ears in pain. A Barbaracle came running.

"Run!" shouted Aaron.

Unfortunately, the only way to go in the cave that wasn't back to the top of the cliff was a turn in the cave tunnels, but it was in the direction of the running Barbaracle.

Without thinking twice, Aaron ran towards the turn, screaming as much as he could. Thomas dragged Clara after him.

The Barbaracle didn't expect their charge and froze, but then they turned and the doubt was cleared from the Barbaracle's face. It turned and ran after them.

Aaron glanced back, he could see one of the Barbaracle still running, and Roto Drone 056 somehow behind the wild Pokemon.

"What do we do?" asked Thomas.

"Clara, does your Pachirisu know Thunder Wave?" asked Aaron.

"Yes!"

"Ask him to use it!"

Clara spun around. "Pachy, use Thunder Wave!"

Sparks flew from Pachy as he shot a web of paralyzing electricity. The Barbaracle groaned as it slowed down considerably.

Aaron gave a whoop of delight as they kept running, the Barbaracle smashing things in frustration.

"Stop!" shouted Thomas all of a sudden.

Aaron instinctively tried to stop, but Clara crashed into him, causing him to crash over Thomas. He then realized why they were supposed to stop.

The cave sloped considerably, so going down was dangerous, but their momentum from running carried them over the ledge and down the slope.

They all went tumbling down the slope uncontrollably, Roto Drone 056 following behind.

Jax's Group

Jax crouch walked through the wild grass, the golden brown prairie grass reaching all the way to the top of his knees. His team followed behind him, Sophie and Mack having a hard time with their heavy equipment.

Camilla was behind him, carefully moving through the grass. She picked grass off her dress and glared at Jax.

"There's no way you saw an eevee in this tall grass, I can't see my own two feet in this grass," Camilla said clearly annoyed.

"I did! I'm certain I saw an eevee's tail! The tip was sticking out of the grass!"

"Well maybe the eevee moved out of the grass because it wouldn't be able to see anything but grass at its height. Sophie and Mack are having a hard time getting through the grass."

"Well you might as well get used to it. The prairie is covered in tall grass, walking through it is pretty much inevitable unless you want to waste time."

"Good thing you're making me walk around the tall grass, looking for a Pokemon you thought you saw."

"I definitely saw it." At that moment, a flash of brown scampered through the grass. "There! I saw something move!"

He sprung forward and caught another glimpse of the mystery Pokemon. He knew that he wouldn't see it well through the grass.

"Go, Valdez!"

He sent out his Chimchar. The Pokemon landed in the grass and looked around, seemingly startled by where he appeared.

"Okay Valdez, there's an eevee in these grasses. I need you to help me find and defeat it."

Valdez nodded, but he didn't need to do much looking. The eevee sprung out of the grass and slammed into Valdez with Tackle. Valdez went rolling and didn't get a chance to recover before the eevee used Bite.

Valdez spun out of the way and ran through the grass. The eevee chased after Valdez, a confident look on its face.

"I told you I saw an eevee."

"Okay, but you should probably be looking out for Valdez, I lost sight of him."

Alarm registered on Jax's face as he raced after the two Pokemon. He found Valdez fighting the eevee outside the grass. He quickly took out his Pokedex and scanned the eevee.

"eevee, the evolution Pokemon," said the Pokedex out loud, causing Jax to almost drop it out of surprise. "eevee has an unstable genetic makeup that suddenly mutates due to the environment in which it lives. Radiation from various stones causes this Pokemon to evolve."

"Interesting. Possible moves, oh that's cool. Man, I should have done this when those Murkrow attacked. Anyways. Valdez, use Mach Punch!"

The eevee leaped out of the way at the last second as Valdez went speeding forward with his fist out. The eevee leaped back and tried using Tackle.

"Valdez, roll and use ember!"

Valdez rolled away from the Tackle as the eevee flew towards him. He sprung up and dodged a bite before throwing a ball of flames. The attack hit the Pokemon in the side.

"Use Mach Punch!"

Valdez sprung forward and punched the eevee in the face. The eevee was sent flying through the air and landed heavily onto the floor.

The eevee stood up quickly and faced Valdez. Despite the beating he took, he seemed still ready to fight. He flipped around and started wagging his tail as a taunt.

"Wow, he's clearly losing and still has the audacity to taunt me. This guy's overconfident. I'm going to have fun putting him in his place. Valdez, ember!"

The eevee dodged the attack and rushed at Valdez in a wide arc. Valdez held onto his fire as the eevee circled him. The eevee stopped and charged straight at Valdez.

"Use it, then Scratch!"

The eevee expected him to use ember, and dodged to the side and used its momentum to send itself straight at Valdez. What he didn't expect was the follow up attack.

Valdez slashed the eevee on the face, sending it sprawling in pain. Jax wasted no time and threw his pokeball.

The ball hit the eevee and sucked it. It shook three times before catching it. Jax walked over and picked up the pokeball, smiling.

"Wow, you're really good at battling," said Camilla, fluttering her eyelashes.

"Thanks, I learnt it from one of my dads. Also, I think your eyes are twitching."

Valdez facepalmed and shook his head. It didn't take a genius to know that Jax was beyond hopeless.

Seth's Group

Seth punched a tree in frustration, pain running up his hand as he immediately regretted the action.

They were lost for the third time. There was no definite path in the forest, but the trees were marked with yellow arrows. They followed them, only to end up lost.

It didn't help that whenever they thought they were on the path, they would end up at a place where the trees were so thickly grown that they couldn't get through safely.

"Are you sure you know where we're going Connor?" asked Seth.

"Yes, I mean no! Yeah, we're lost."

"At least that's not new information, these people should be better path makers. Or at least make the arrows more consistent."

"I think the arrows are the problem," said Theo.

"I double that, the arrows were leading the correct way when we were in the first part of the forest," said Connor.

"Double?"

"I meant doubt Theo. Anyways, I don't think the arrows are the problem."

"Maybe they are," said Seth. "The first part of the forest was nice and bright with lots of Pokemon. This part is dark, rarely any Pokemon, and extremely creepy."

"Why would they purposely fake the arrows wrong?" asked Connor.

"What if they didn't. What if-"

Seth was then cut off by a child's wail. All four of them, Darreth the cameraman included, froze in place.

"What was that?" asked Theo.

"A child's scream. I think someone might be in trouble!" said Seth with urgency.

"We don't even know where they are, I don't even know where we are!" said Connor.

The scream filled the air again, causing all of them to snap to attention.

"Now we know where they are, let's go," said Seth.

They followed the sound of the screams, the screams led them deeper into the forest. Connor looked back and sighed as he knew they lost all hope of finding their way onto the main path.

They heard the cream again, this time much louder than before. Seth burst through a clump of trees and found himself in a clearing, with two Phantumps.

His friends burst through the trees as well and saw the two Pokémon. Looks of shock, surprise, and annoyance on their faces.

The Phantumps made happy noises and flew towards them. Seth and the others however, mistook the action as aggression.

"Well I see we have abbatle here. Want to join me Connor?"

"I like my revenge. Go, Flash Flare!"

"Out, Champ!"

Connor's Ponyta and Seth's Nidoran male appeared in bright flashes of light. The Phantumps looked at each other uncertainly.

Seth took out his Pokédex and scanned one of the Phantumps. "Phantump, the Stump Pokémon. By imitating the voice of a child, it causes people to get hopelessly lost deep in the forest. It's trying to make friends with them."

"Trying to make, wait!"

But it was too late. Flash Flare charged forward using Flame Charge. She slammed into one of the Phantumps and sent it flying.

The other Phantump made a shrill noise and fled behind some bushes, the other Phantump came angrily and used Leech Seed.

"Dodge it!"

Flash Fire leaped away from the attack and jumped upwards, trying to hit the Phantump. The Phantump used Astonish and sent Flash Fire flying back into the ground.

"Wait! We're sorry! We didn't know you wanted to be friends!" shouted Seth, waving.

The Phantump was not ready to listen, it rushed at Flash Flare and used Confuse Ray. Circular orbs swirled around her head, confusing her.

The ther Phantump had heard what Seth had said and slowly floated towards him. It looked at him with wide eyes, and he smiled and patted its head.

"Hello, I won't hurt you. I just didn't understand what you wanted."

It made a noise of happiness and flew around him. The other Phantump noticed this exchange and stopped fighting. It instead flew down to Seth.

"Hey buddy, sorry about attacking you. Can we be friends?"

The word got both Phantump's attention, they flew in circles around Seth and made happy shrills.

Connor raised an eyebrow and gestured for Seth to come. Seth told both Pokémon to wait and walked over to Connor.

"What's up?"

"The Phantumps, it's nice they like you know, but we can't just get up and leave. They'll feel betrayed."

"Simple, we take them along."

"You're going to catch them?" asked Connor with some doubt.

"What if we don't have to catch them. What if they travel with us like, like a casting team! They don't have to battle or stay in pokéballs or anything, and they can leave whenever they want. They won't technically be my Pokémon or anyone's. They'll just be wild Pokémon!"

"That has happened before, but it's not that often."

"Well, it's happening now."

He walked over to the Phantumps and looked at them.

"Hey guys, is it okay if I come up with a name for both of you?"

Both Phantumps nodded and gave happy shrills. Seth thought for a moment and checked their genders on his Pokédex.

"Okay, I'll call you Isabelle and Peter. How does that sound?" he said, pointing at each Phantump as he gave them their names.

The Phantumps nodded and gave happy shrills again. They flipped around and flew in circles around each other and Seth. Seth smiled and gave his friends a thumbs up.

"That's nice, but how do we leave the forest?" asked Theo.

Seth turned to his new friends. "Do you know the way out the forest?"

Both Phantumps nodded, Seth took Connor's map and pointed at the end of the forest that led to the dark type gym.

The Phantumps looked at the map for a moment. Isabelle pointed one way and Peter shook his head. They argued for a few minutes before Peter had a solution.

Peter pointed at the first, sunny part of the forest. Then he drew a path from there to the end of the forest.

"You're saying that you can use the sun to figure out where to go?" asked Theo.

Peter seemed surprised and relieved Theo had instantly decoded his message. He nodded and flew off with Isabelle.

"I guess this means we have to follow," said Seth.

Aaron's Group

Aaron got up, gingerly touching his head where he'd hurt it multiple times. He stood up painfully, his body hurting all over.

He limped over to Clara's still form, he shook her a few times before gently slapping her face.

Clara groaned as she sat up, clutching her stomach in pain.

"In the name of Arceus and the lake guardians. I think I cracked a rib."

Aaron crouched down and tried touching her ribs, but she leaned away, doing her best not to move her chest.

"Where's Thomas, he probably has medical supplies in his backpack."

"Oh yes, like I'm supposed to know." Clara hissed.

"I notice you seem to be more surly whenever you're in pain."

"Stop noticing me and start noticing where the hell is Thomas!"

Aaron flinched and made a helpless gesture. He painfully and slowly got up and limped around the cave room. He thought he saw a glimpse of light, so he went there.

"Don't walk around with your injuries. I'll be back to help Clara once I finish bandaging my leg," whispered Thomas suddenly, his voice hoarse.

"What hap-"

"Ssh!" hissed Thomas. "Last thing we need is Clara getting more worked up than she already is. I hurt my neck on the way down, but I managed to save a flashlight."

Suddenly, a thought occurred to Aaron. In a hurry, he pulled out his pokeballs. He examined them in Thomas' light and sighed with relief that the pokéballs and Pokémon inside were safe and sound.

Thomas finished bandaging his leg and got up slowly. He tested the weight on his leg and walked over to Clara.

"Hey, I heard you might have damaged your ribs. May I take a look, I'm trained for this."

"Sure, at least you're not just going around, poking at it."

Aaron rolled his eyes and sat down. Thomas started to take out his medical supplies again and looked at Clara.

"You're going to have to lift your shirt."

Clara gave him a look of alarm and disbelief. "You're kidding right?"

"Nope, it's the only way for the treatment to be effective."

Clara turned to silently glare at Aaron, but he was already walking the other way.

Fifteen minutes later

Roto Drone had stopped recording as Thomas applied the bandage, it had now started recording as Thomas cooked on a fire. Ruined supplies were scattered on the cave floor, even the pot Thomas was using had been dented.

"So what happens now?" asked Aaron.

"Well, Pokéstar will probably find out what happened and send us some supplies. They have bases all around the Insulae Region." answered Thomas.

"I doubt they'll come anytime soon." muttered Clara. "Think about it, we're deep in a cave and we went way off the path. Going the same way we came would be way too dangerous. It'll take them forever to find us, and Thomas' radio is broken. So what do we do?"

"Simple," said Aaron. Causing both Thomas and Clara to raise an eyebrow. "We traverse the cave ourselves, we know where we're going, but they don't. As long as we find blue arrows on the wall, we'll know we're headed in the right direction."

"I don't think we're in any condition to travel," said Clara.

"Actually, as long as we move slowly, we'll be fine," said Thomas, starting to see Aaron's logic.

Clara looked at both of them. "I see I'm outvoted, as long as we eat first I'm fine."

Ten minutes later

Clara, Thomas, Aaron, and their Pokémon were gathered around the pot, eating very watery curry. The reason for this was because many of the ingredients had been mashed in the fall.

Aaron had then realized how long they'd been out cold, he figured his competitors were far ahead of him by this point.

He absently ate his curry when Clara turned to him.

"Did you expect stuff like this to happen when you signed up?" she asked.

Aaron shook his head and sighed. "Being completely honest, I thought this was just going to be a fun adventure filled with what I'm best at."

"So you mean battling."

"Yeah, I never imagined crazy stuff like this happening."

Clara didn't say anything for a moment as she finished her food. "You know, I've been in a reality TV show before, it was called Swamp Life. I thought it would just be lots of fun exploring and sights to see. Until I fell sick once during the show, that's when I realized that even though were in a show, it doesn't mean that everything is perfect and scripted. Real things happen, even if it's too scary to believe."

Aaron thought about her words as he ate his own curry, realizing she had a point.

"And I'm guessing that even then, you and your team never gave up."

"And we won't give up in this case either," Clara said with a smile.

They all finished their curry and helped Thomas pack everything away. They stood up and faced the only exit in the little cave room.

"On we go," said Aaron.

Zeke's Group

Zeke walked across the open field, remarking at all the different Pokémon he saw. Only Carolina was engaged with him though, Cyrus was too busy playing an offline game one his phone.

"Hey, is that a Pidgeotto or a Pidgeot Cyrus?" asked Zeke.

Cyrus momentarily glanced up from his phone, squinting at the faint bird Pokémon in the sky.

"The tail feathers are all red, it's a Pidgeot," he said. Immediately looking back to his phone.

Carolina pulled some binoculars from a strap at the side of her backpack and looked at the Pokémon.

"Yep, it is a Pidgeot." remarked Carolina

"I know my Pokémon," said Cyrus, still looking at his phone.

"You know, you shouldn't be looking at your phone so much. There's a lot to see outside of your screen," said Zeke.

"Why does it matter?"

"It matters because you're barely interacting with anyone else!" said Carolina, her voice rising. "Get off that phone right now!"

"Make me."

Carolina slowly removed her backpack and handed it to Zeke, who buckled under the weight of it.

She ran forward and with a simple flick of her arm and wrist, flipped the phone away from Cyrus and caught it. Cyrus stared at her, slack jawed.

She handed him back his phone with a glare. "Will you put it away now?"

Cyrus said nothing as he stuffed it into his pocket. Zeke handed Carolina her backpack, his eyebrows raised as he was clearly impressed.

"The way she flipped away his phone was impressive. I almost missed the action," said Zeke to himself.

"Are you talking to me?" asked Carolina.

"Just talking to myself." with that, Zeke started whistling as he added a bounce to his step.

"Hey guys look, there's a Drilbur!" exclaimed Cyrus.

The Drilbur wasn't that far away from them, it heard Cyrus' shout and dove into the ground. After a few moments, it reappeared, right in front of them.

"Watch out!" shouted Zeke.

They ran out of the way as the Drilbur went flying at them. Zeke took out one of his pokéballs and threw it.

"Go, Abba!"

He sent out his Oricorio, the Pokémon was in its Pau form. Zeke pulled out a small bag he had and removed a red flower. During the previous day, Abba had shown Zeke a small field of flowers. There had only been red and pink flowers, but the Baile style would help in this battle.

"Come here Abba!"

Abba ran over and drank the nectar from the flower. The change was almost instantaneous. She glowed white and started to change form. When the glow faded, she appeared in her Balie form.

"Alright, use Revelation Dance!"

Flames swirled around Abba as she made a little dance. She shot the flames straight at the Drilbur, who dug underneath the ground.

"Such speed and agility! But as long as I'm able to hit it once, I'll have a serious edge!" voiced Zeke.

"Um, you do know only Excadrill is a ground and steel," said Cyrus. "Changing Abba to her Baile form only puts you at a disadvantage because her natural resistance to ground is gone."

Zeke threw him a look. "And you tell me this now? Wait, hold on. Abba, fly away!"

Zeke had foresaw the Dig attack. Since Abba could fly in her Baile form, she lifted herself off the ground right as the Drilbur flew out of the ground.

"Gust!"

With a flap of her wings, Abba blasted the Drilbur to the ground. The Pokémon hit the ground hard and immediately dug under. It popped back up and tried slashing at Abba, who flew out of the way.

"Abba's going to have to land to use Revelation Dance. It's a risk I must take. Use, Revelation Dance!"

Abba flew down to the ground and used the move. The Drilbur again dove under, but instead of going straight at Abba, it popped back up and sent rocks flying.

"Watch out for the Rock Tomb, but fly towards it!"

Abba took to the air and flew in between the rocks, she cleared all of them and flew straight at the Drilbur.

"Use Gust!"

The Drilbur almost instantly dove under the ground, the Gust just barely touched it.

"Why does it always rotate its claws when Abba nears it? I need to check my Pokédex."

He took out his Pokédex and scanned the Drilbur when it leaped out for its next attack.

"Drilbur, the Mole Pokémon. It makes its way swiftly through the soil by putting both claws together and rotating at high speed."

"Ah ha! I can tell whenever this Pokémon is about to go underground. Using that I can defeat it. Abba, use Gust!"

He saw the Drilbur's claws rotating and immediately commanded Abba to counter the move.

"Fly away!"

The Drilbur seemed confused by the turn of events, and Zeke had a plan.

"I'll just keep faking like this till it comes to attack me. Once the right moment comes, Abba will counter-attack and quickly use follow up moves."

And his plan worked, Abba continuously flew around, dodging attacks and faking her own. The Drilbur eventually got desperate and rushed at Abba, who had just landed, feigning exhaustion.

The Drilbur leapt into the air, about to use Slash. That's when Zeke decided to strike.

"Use, Revelation Dance!"

The Drilbur was unable to dig into the ground or twist in mid-air. The powerful attack hit it head on. Sending it straight to the ground.

"Use Gust!"

Abba didn't relent, she sent a burst of wind that slammed into the Drilbur. I quickly recovered and dug straight into the ground.

Zeke waited tensely for the Drilbur to reappear and attack. But the Pokémon never came, that's when he realized it had run away.

"Great job Abba! I knew you could win!" exclaimed Zeke, pumping his fist.

Abba mimicked the action with her wing. Zeke laughed and returned Abba to her pokéball.

"It's a shame the Drilbur got away," said Cyrus.

"Not everybody has to see a battle through, we still got something out of the fight and that's all that matters," said Zeke.

"Well said, now let's hurry up. The water gym isn't getting any closer," Carolina said, quickening her pace.

Cyrus groaned. "Did you have to choose the farthest gym away?"

Thirty minutes later

After some time of walking, they spotted what seemed to be a campsite. There were six two-man tents and three fancy looking jeeps. There were people moving about in the campsite, and some of them were cooking over a fire.

It was almost evening at that point, so Zeke and his friends were hoping they could set up at the people's campsite, it would be a step up from just the three of them.

"I really hope they allow us to set up our sleeping bags in their camp," said Carolina.

"I want to go look at those jeeps," said Cyrus.

"I'm most excited about seeing what they're cooking," said Zeke.

Someone from the camp spotted them and waved them over. Zeke and his team quickened their pace and soon made it to the camp.

"Welcome to our camp, my name is Xavier. I'm the leader of this small camp. We're traveling around the Insulae Region and just other Regions in general. We've been through the Alola, Hoenn, and Galar Region. But none of those have as much wilderness as the Insulae Region. Did you know that only seven percent of the Insulae Region is inhabited permanently? And those are all just small settlements. No one is allowed to build towns anymore. Small cottages and tents are the only way to live on this island."

"How come?" asked Cyrus. "The Insulae Region is a pretty big region. It's bigger than both Kanto and the Donalda region.

"For starters, fifteen percent of the Insulae Region is a dangerous swamp land. And while it may not have Galar or Holdien Region native Pokémon, it still has hundreds of thousands of Pokémon that live here. Seeing as the Calzei Region government owns the Insulae Region, they wanted to make sure those Pokémon stayed in the region. This also has to do with the reason the Insulae Region doesn't have any Galar Pokémon. The abundance of Pokémon in this region allows you, by law, to have six Pokémon!"

"That's interesting, but we were wondering if we could temporarily join your campsite," said Carolina.

"Well of course you can! This campsite is for anyone. Dinner is almost ready, why don't you join us?"

Zeke smiled. "We would like that very much."

They'd finished the recording at exactly ten o'clock. That was the time they'd always stop, even if there was nothing too interesting to record. They'd set up at nine and rest until the next day.

Carolina, and most other people, were already fast asleep. But Zeke and Cyrus were still awake. Zeke was walking around, whistling to himself while Cyrus looked at the jeeps.

"Hey Zeke, check this out," said Cyrus.

Zeke walked over to where Cyrus was standing and looked at what he was pointing at.

"What is it?" asked Zeke.

"I think some things are staged without our knowledge, like these campsite people who just happened to be in the direction of the water gym. If you look closely at the window, you'll see something strange."

Zeke leaned forward and squinted and saw what seemed to be a logo. The logo depicted a star splint in half horizontally, with two angry eyes in the middle. Zeke recognized the logo as the Pokéstar logo.

"Well, I think it would be better to keep this to ourselves," said Zeke, his eyebrows raised.

"Yeah, let's pretend this never happened and act normally."

"After all, who knows what the critics will have to say."

And that's the end of Episode 4! I'm going to type Episode 5 before going to my regular story posting schedule of 1-1. I hope you guys enjoyed this episode!
