Danny shoved the last suitcase in the trunk and shut the door. "Alright," he said, checking his clipboard, "Looks like we're still right on schedule. The car's all packed. We have you, me, Steph, and Michelle in my car. Joey's riding with Jess, Becky, and the twins, and DJ and Steve are riding with Kimmy. Everyone else is meeting us in Lake Tahoe. Am I forgetting anything?" he asked Vicky. Right on cue, Comet came running down the driveway with an empty bowl in his mouth. "Girls!" Danny yelled, "who forgot to feed the dog?"

"She did!" the two youngest Tanners answered simultaneously, pointing to each other.

"Well one of you better go in and take care of that because we're leaving in four minutes," Danny warned. Stephanie and Michelle climbed out of the car and ushered the dog inside.

"Well, at least you're ready," Danny told Vicky, "I'm glad I can always count on you to be on time." He pulled Vicky in for a kiss, but she quickly ushered him away.

"Danny, could you just give me one quick minute?" Vicky asked. Without waiting for an answer, she cupped her hand over her mouth and hurried back inside.

"Alright, Dad, we're ready to go," said DJ.

"Perfect!" Do you have your itinerary with you?" Danny asked.

"Yep! Rest stop at 10:30 and lunch at 1 PM. ETA 3:30 PM!" Kimmy recited.

"Great! Drive safe, no speeding," he instructed. Then leaned into DJ's ear and whispered, "Remind me again why Kimmy is coming with us?"

"Because her uncle owns the only cabin on Lake Tahoe that could accommodate all of us with three days' notice," said DJ.

Danny sighed. "It's a shame they shut down the FABULOUS Ali Baba Hotel & Casino. The whole thing turned out to be a money-laundering scheme. Danny cringed and gave his eldest daughter one last goodbye hug.

Moments later, Vicky came back outside. "Okay! Let's get this show on the road!" Vicky exclaimed, trying a little too hard to sound chipper.

"Vick, are you sure you're okay?" Danny asked, concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine! It's just a little morning sickness. It'll blow over in no time. Now, c'mon! Are we getting married or not?" Vicky turned around and got into the car.

"Alright troops! Last call!" Danny called. Stephanie and Michelle hurried back out to the car with Comet in tow. Danny pulled out of the driveway with Jesse following close behind.

"I'm telling you, Jess, he's one of the greats!" Joey spoke up from the backseat of Jesse's car, where he was crammed in between the twins.

"I'm not saying he's not great!" Jesse argued, "I'm just saying that most of his best work is over ten years old. He doesn't resonate well with the new generation, that's all."

"Well, clearly Nicky and Alex love him!" Joey replied, "Don't you, boys?"

"Baaaby Beluuuga!" sang Nicky.

"More Raffi!" Alex chanted. His twin brother then chimed in. "More Raffi! More Raffi! More Raffi!" The adults groaned, but Jesse ultimately gave in. "Alright, okay. Raffi's back!"

"Yay!" the twins cheered, "Baaaby Beluuuga!"

"Baaaby Beluuuga!" Joey sang in response as an exasperated Jesse slammed his head against the steering wheel, honking the horn.

Meanwhile, Danny, Vicky, and the girls were making their third pit stop of the trip as Vicky continued to struggle with nausea.

"Why are we stopping again?" Michelle whined to Stephanie.

"Because Vicky had to throw up again," Stephanie replied, exasperated.

"Why does she keep throwing up?" Michelle inquired.

"Because she's pregnant, Michelle. We've been through this!"

"Is she gonna be sick until the baby comes?" Michelle questioned. Stephanie groaned. "I don't know, Michelle!" Stephanie exclaimed, "Why don't you ask her?"

"Okay!" Michelle said, unbuckling her seatbelt. Stephanie motioned for her to sit back down as Danny got back into the car.

"Sorry, girls. Vicky should be right out," said Danny.

"Daddy, we're behind schedule. We're gonna be late!" Michelle cried.

"Oh, I know, Michelle. When I made the itinerary for this trip, I forgot to factor in the fact that a pregnant woman's stomach can be unpredictable. But don't worry! If we skip lunch, we should only be about twenty minutes late. Luckily Kimmy has keys to the cabin."

"Daddy, did our mommy get this sick when she was pregnant?" Michelle asked.

"She did with DJ. With you two, it was a little better," Danny responded. Then Vicky opened the passenger and got back into the car. Danny kissed her on the forehead. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Danny, I'm fine! The motion sickness is just amplifying the pregnancy nausea, that's all! The doctor said that might happen and gave me some pregnancy-safe motion sickness medicine. I'm fine!" she assured him.

"Alright gang, are we ready to get back on the road?" Danny asked. The girls cheered and Comet barked in agreement. "Girls, remind me again why we're bringing Comet with us?"

"Oh! We taught him to carry your wedding rings down the aisle. Becky was worried that Nicky and Alex would try to eat them," Stephanie explained. Danny rolled his eyes as Vicky laughed.

A few hours later, the majority of the Tanner caravan had arrived at the cabin. While Jesse and Joey were playing with the twins in the living room. Becky and Liz Larson were in the kitchen preparing dinner as the three teenagers watched from the kitchen counter.

"I hope Dad and Vicky are okay. It's starting to get dark. Should we be worried?" DJ wondered.

"Oh, Deej, you know how your dad is," Becky replied, "He's probably driving ten miles under the speed limit so he doesn't hurt the baby." DJ laughed.

"Either that or Vicky got cold feet," Liz spoke up.

"What would make you think that?" Becky asked.

"Well, Vicky has always had a one-track mind when it comes to her journalism career. She may be having second thoughts about giving up the job in New York. Not that I would be glad if she did! I'm just saying that I know Vicky and it wouldn't be unlike her to decide that her career is more important." DJ frowned, concerned by the idea that her father may have his heart broken yet again.

Becky noticed. "Deej, I'm sure everything is fine. Besides, there is no way that your Dad is going to let Vicky get away again."

Before Liz had the chance to give a rebuttal, the Katsopolis grandparents entered with Claire Tanner following close behind. The twins and DJ rushed to greet their grandparents. "Hey, where is the happy couple?" asked Grandpa Nick.

"Not here yet," Jesse informed his father, "We're getting ready to send out a search party."

"Oh, God, I hope my babies are okay!" Claire exclaimed. Right on cue, the remaining Tanners walked in the door. "Oh, my babies!" Claire sighed with relief and hurried to embrace her son and granddaughters, as well as her future daughter-in-law.

"Mom, everything is fine!" Danny assured her, "We just had to make a few extra stops. Vicky's struggling with some nausea, that's all."

Claire turned her attention to Vicky. "Oh, you poor dear! After dinner, I'm going to make you some of the special tea that Danny's father used to make for me."

"Oh! Was it peppermint ginger?!" Grandma Irene piped up, "That always worked wonders for me." Claire nodded.

"Mrs. Tanner, that's so sweet!"Vicky gushed.

"Oh, nonsense, honey! You call me Claire. After tomorrow, Mrs. Tanner is going to be you!"

"Well, I suppose you're right," said Vicky, "Or, Mrs. Larson-Tanner." Danny's face fell for a moment.

"Larson-Tanner?!" Danny exclaimed. Vicky glared at him. "You know what? It's our wedding weekend. I'm too happy to be bothered about a silly last name. For now." Vicky smiled and kissed Danny.

"Alright, gang," said Becky, "everyone's here. Let's dig in!" The kitchen came alive as the entire crew filed in and started passing around plates. Danny and Vicky smiled and gazed at each other contentedly.

The house was abuzz with excitement the next morning as everyone prepared for the afternoon ceremony and reception. In one bedroom, Vicky, Becky, the girls, and the grandmothers were working on hair and makeup.

"Thanks for asking me to be a bridesmaid, Almost Mrs. T!" said Kimmy.

"Well, Kimmy, you spend so much time at the Tanner house, I feel like you're already part of the family! It was my pleasure."

"Are you nervous, Vicky?" Michelle asked.

Well, a little bit!" Vicky answered, "but I think it's mostly because it's all happening so fast. You know just a few days ago, your dad and I broke up and I was getting ready to move to New York, and now, here we are, getting married and having a baby. It is a lot to take in, but to be honest, I don't think I would have it any other way." the ladies swooned.

"How's your morning sickness?" Stephanie asked.

"You know, it's not that bad today. Maybe I'm just too excited to be sick. Have you girls seen your dad today? How's he doing?"

"Well," DJ said, "Steve told me he made and remade his bed three times this morning."

"And I saw him downstairs dust-busting the kitchen counter!" Michelle exclaimed.

"Oh, good! So, business as usual then!" Vicky chirped. Everyone laughed.

"Alright," said Aunt Becky as she put the finishing touches on Vicky's makeup, "Are you ready to put on your dress?"

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be," Vicky replied, "I can't wait for you girls to see it! It may be off-the-rack, but considering I only had three days to find a dress, I think it was a great find!" Vicky scurried into the bathroom to change, followed closely by her mother.

Down the hall, the gentlemen of the wedding party had just finished getting ready. "Alright, Daniel," Jesse said as attached a blue boutonniere to Danny's lapel, "You are ready to walk down that aisle. How does it feel knowing you're mere hours away from marrying the woman of your dreams?"

"Well," Danny hesitated, "I was feeling great, but now that you say that, it reminds me that I've already done it before, and the first time I promised never to love anybody else. Guys, am I - am I doing the right thing here?'

"Danny, sit down. Come talk to me," Grandpa Nick motioned for Danny to sit down on the bed as he pulled up a chair. "Now, do you remember the little chat we had the morning that you and Pam got married?"

"You mean the one where you threatened to kill me if I hurt her in any way, shape, or form? How could I forget?" Danny replied.

"Now, Danny, I know you miss her. I do too. But do you really believe that you moving on and being happy with somebody else is going to break that promise?"

"No. No, I don't."

"And neither do I. Now, sure, I had my doubts about you in the beginning, Danny. You were two young kids in love. You had no idea what kind of responsibilities were involved in getting married and having a family. But, you know what? You proved me wrong! You stepped up and did whatever you had to do to take care of Pam and the girls! And then, when you were left on your own to raise those girls by yourself, you did the right thing and you asked for help when you needed it. I mean, sure, you asked these two bozos who knew nothing about raising kids but I'd say the three of you did a pretty darn good job. What I'm trying to say here, is that you've fulfilled your responsibility as a husband to Pam and father to your girls, and now you've been given the opportunity to do it again, with Vicky and the new baby that's coming. And I know you're gonna do the right thing, just like you always have."

Danny reached for his handkerchief and dabbed his eyes. "Thanks, Nick. I've always told the girls that I know Pam would want me to move on and find someone else to share my life with, but now that it's happening, I guess I just -"

"You're afraid that you're going to forget her," Jesse offered. Danny nodded. "Danny! Just because you love Vicky doesn't mean you stop loving Pam. Your love for the new baby doesn't mean you love the girls any less, right?!" Danny nodded again. "See? You're a good man, with a nice, big heart that has room for all of the people in your life. As long as you keep loving everybody the way that you do so well, it's gonna be fine."

"Oh, Jesse, come here!" Danny pulled his brother-in-law in for a signature Danny Tanner hug.

"Oh, I stepped right into that one, didn't I?" Jesse whined. Nick and Joey joined in for a group hug.

"Don't worry, Danny," said Joey, "we'll always be here when you need us, or if there's a problem."

Right on cue, Steve rushed into the bedroom, out of breath. "You guys, we have a problem! The Justice of the Peace just called. There's snow in the mountains. He's not gonna make it."

"Oh my God!" cried Danny.

Jesse quickly put his hands on Danny's shoulders, urging him to sit down. "Danny, Danny. Calm down, okay? I'm gonna go make some calls. We'll figure something out. Don't you worry!" Danny sat down and took a deep breath. Jesse leaned over and whispered in Joey's ear, "Joseph, what are we gonna do?"

"No idea!" Joey whispered back.

"Okay, well just keep smiling so Danny doesn't freak out!" Joey obliged, and he and Jesse grinned back at Danny, though their eyes were filled with worry.
