Chapter three: Obi Wan's per.
"How long has he been like this?"
"About 10 minutes after he woke up."
"And I take it he's been crying the whole time?"
"I am afraid so…"
Anakin was shaking, his head resting on his knees.
"Has he even eaten anything since arriving?"
The temple healer sadly shook her head. "We've tried, but he refuses…"
A sob came from Anakin, followed by a hiccup. Occasionally Obi Wan could hear him sobbing, and it broke his heart.
Obi Wan sat down on the edge of Anakin's bed.
"Is there anything you want…?"
Anakin showed no signs of hearing his, except for turning away from Obi Wan, to face the other direction.
"At least open up your mind to me…"
"Could you try some food?"
"Open your mind to me… please, Anakin?"
Anakin shuddered.
His voice sounded broken when he spoke, "you would just tell me my attachment to… to… her was too strong. Tell me to let her go… but you don't understand."
Anakin looked up, his face red and blotchy, eyes bloodshot. Voice cracking from the near-hour of crying he said.
"I-I can't"
Obi Wan felt Anakin's wall begin to cumple, and he mumbled "sorry to expose you to this… but I cant… cant hold on…" Anakin's wall suddenly fell, Obi Wan gasped as the full force of all Anakin's grief hit him. It was a never ending strain of darkness… and hurt. Obi Wan felt sick from the raw amount of negative emotions. Obi Wan understood that Anakin held himself responsible but he didn't understand just how much it was tormenting Anakin.
That was, until now.
