Mycroft sat in his office at Sherrinford doing paperwork while his parents sat beside him on their guest chairs looking at the cameras for Euros' room.
They could see their two youngest laughing and smirking at one another how they wished they could hear what their son was saying to exhibit those types of reactions from her.
"Myke how can we hear what they're saying?"
Mycroft sighed and turned to look at the screen watching as Euros picked up the violin played a verse and then glowered at their brother in annoyance.
He had just unmuted the microphone to hear the last few notes of the chorus to Elvis Presley' "Can't Help Falling in Love". Causing wide looks from all members in the room. That only widened when Sherlock replied verbally.
"No, I didn't tell her I loved her either."
He could practically see her trying to restrain herself from groaning.
"I might but how am I supposed to know when the closest thing I've experienced to a relationship is one with a Dominatrix who manipulated me into giving up government secrets."
Mycroft scowled at that if the word Dominatrix or The Woman was never brought up again it would still be too soon. Blasted woman.
"Even if I do love Molly. She doesn't want me why would she when all I've ever done is manipulate her in the same way…"
The smirk widened as she nodded for him to go on.
"… the same way Irene did to me," he finished.
Mycroft sighed as the conversation between the two ended and they started to play a game of chess with Sherlock and the board on one side with all the pieces and Euros motioning for Sherlock to move her pieces when it was her turn.
"What did our boy do to that Molly girl, Mycroft?' His father asked causing long hard sighs from both Mycroft and his mother.
"Nothing father. He did nothing."
"Nothing? Violet what do you know about this?"
"Things said between a mother and son are said in confidence, darling."
"I'm the boy's father, Vi."
"Alright, well she's lovely and kind and smart too, Right, Mike?"
"Brilliant."
Sigar nodded recalling similar words said in a helicopter a few days previous, "The pathologist that saved Sherlock's life."
"Yes father, the very same."
"She has feelings for William, dear.", Violet added.
"Ah and Will spurned her affection."
Mycroft nodded, "Several times."
"Is there no way Will can fix things?"
Mycroft pressed his lips, "I do not know the entirety of the issues between them although it seems like mother might have an idea?"
Violet shrugged, "Perhaps there is still time for the two to work everything out. Mycroft will help."
Mycroft scoffed, "I don't think I could help and even if I did Sherlock would never let me get anywhere near her."
"Your brother needs you Myke."
"Yet he has said nothing of the sort to me."
"When has that ever stopped you from meddling Myke. John Watson let me know of your antics trying to buy off Sherlock's friends to spy on him."
Mycroft gave in knowing how resilient his mother was, "I'll see what I can do."
Mycroft stood on the helipad watching as his brother and parents left while he made his way back to Sherinfford and headed towards his sister's room.
He nodded for the guards to open the door and stepped in staying by the entrance as the door closed behind him. Euros was laying on the bed facing away from the glass.
"Hello sister."
She didn't turn to face him.
He sighed and moved carefully towards her door reaching for his key card. The movement closer to the glass caused her to jump up and turn to analyze him. Her expression surprised by his actions.
Mycroft didn't say anything just punched in his code and swiped his key card to enter as well as waited to add his biometrics to unlock the door. The biometrics where an additional security so only Mycroft was allowed to enter into Euros' space.
The door opened and he stepped in trying to repress his fear and the flashes of the last time he was that close to her.
Euros frowned at him but stepped back and took a seat on her bed.
A white flag?
He took a step towards her and hesitated a mere six feet away from her.
"What do you want, Euros?"
She tilted her head.
"I can't let you out. I'll never be able to do that for you not after all you have done."
She blinked and Mycroft interpreted the movement quite quickly.
"I'll get to the point then. I am sorry for everything that has happened to you."
She shrugs looking at him then to the spot next to her.
His eyes widen, "Last time our brother got that close to you, you tried to choke him to death."
She rolled her eyes and scooted to one side of the bed before turning to look back at him.
He nodded and slowly moved his backside hovering slightly over the bed before finally sitting on it.
"Sherlock has been getting you to open up. You always wanted to spend time with him? I mean I never actually wanted to spend time with either of you but you never even bothered to try with me?"
She frowned and slowly scooted over to him eyes locked on each other.
Mycroft paused and kept his hand on his lap waiting for her to stop her fidgeting.
Once she was beside him with a few spaces between them he continued.
"I can't release you and giving you any treats or gifts like last time are no longer an option. I can however bring you books and games to play with alone or with Sherlock if you like."
She smiles.
"Across the glass at least for now of course. If you ever actually prove yourself I can probably allow physical interaction with the rest of our family, restricted to this room."
He paused trying to gage her reaction, "Would that be alright with you?"
"Yes." Euros spoke softly voice strained from lack of use causing her brother to gasp.
"Good…"
"What games?"
Mycroft smiled softly, "We can start with a deck of cards and work our way up to operation."
"Hmm… Cluedo?"
Mycroft let out a laugh, "With the three of us I doubt there'd be much of a challenge and our brother dearest is a cheat."
"Monopoly?"
Mycroft scoffed, "Maybe you have forgotten the Monopoly Disaster of 1982."
"I was fine, it was you and Sherlock who overreacted."
"You took all the properties in the game."
"Isn't that the point?"
"It's how you did it. Sherlock and I were playing just fine and the minute you arrived the table was physically overturned."
She shrugged in dismissal signaling him to change the subject.
"Maybe that one should be restricted to playing with the glass separating us."
"I'm not going to kill you Mycroft."
"Forgive me if I presently don't take you at your word."
"I won't hurt Sherlock or our parents."
"You mean more than you already have?"
"I just wanted to get through to him."
Mycroft hummed in disagreement on the methods she used.
"Well, it worked."
Euros frowns and slowly closes the gap between then by gently placing her hand on his arm.
"Are you trying to comfort me?"
"Not entirely sure."
Mycroft nodded, "Thank you Euros."
