"Ryder, why did we tske the air patroller?" Rocky asked. "We usually use the paw patroller to get there."
"The air patroller is much faster," responded Ryder. "And I want to get there ASAP."
"Oh, okay."
Billions of thoughts were blazing through Chase's head. It was happened every mission. His extremely analytical mind, which he developed from his detective training, always overthought everything. The same thing happened to Marshall and Rocky, though not to the same extent as Chase.
Zuma was looking absolutely ticked. "If we do manage to save Danny, Imma wip his head stwaight off for twying something so stupid," he muttered to himself. "That way, his bwain won't think up anymore dumb ideas."
"What are you so mad about, Zuma?" Skye questioned him.
"Danny."
"What about Danny?"
"Why is he doing something so idiotic? Sewiously, is he DWUNK ow something?!"
"Danny's not old enough to drink Zuma, I doubt that he is drunk."
Zuma just grumbled and frowned at his legs.
Marshall was checking his medical supplies. He was making sure he had things to treat any type of burns. If Danny fell in, it would be severe. There was also the toxic fumes from the sulfur and stuff to deal with. Most people know about the magma, but they forget about the gases. Those are even deadlier than the volcano itself. "Dang, I don't have any kind of oxygen mask or anything. I just hope Danny is smart enough to hold his breath."
"WE ARRIVED!" Ryder called out.
"Great, now let's save Danny!" Chase enthusiatically exclaimed.
All the pups along with Ryder suited up in record time.
"Skye, I took your chopper along for the ride. I'm going down there to nab Danny. I will put him in your harness. After that, take him to Marshall. He may or may not have breathed in some dangerous fumes," Ryder ordered. "He might've even got burned somehow."
"Ok, Ryder!"
"Marshall, you heard what I commanded to Skye, correct? I need you to be ready for when she brings Danny to you."
"Ryder, I don't have anything for the fumes. If he breathed any in, he's done," said Marshall.
Ryder thought for a bit. "Do you have a mask of some sort?"
"Yeah."
"We can reduce the amount he breathes in if he wears it."
Meanwhile, Danny was at the top of the volcano. "Oh boi, it's HOT!" he said to no one in particular. "Danny, you should get down from there!" Carlos shouted to him.
"What? NO WAY! When I make this jump, the name DARING DANNY X will go down in history forever!"
"Que tonto absoluto," Tracker mumbled. "Ight, I'm doin' it!" Danny gleefully chuckled as he pushed his vehicle forwards. "3... 2... 1... GO!"
Danny rapidly propelled his scooter to the gaping hole of volcano. He was going to use one of the rocks as a makeshift ramp. Adrenaline was coursing through his veins, he couldn't stop now. His heartbeat was increasing, his breaths were becoming short and quick. He was nearly there!
That was when he started to feel a bit dizzy. Danny shook his head. No dizziness was going to stop him from his stunt. The dizziness was very aggressive though, and his vision started to blur.
And his scooter hit a rock. Then it tipped over. The half-unconscious daredevil went flying off.
The last thing he heard was "DANNY!"
