Her body felt like it had been frozen in time, her feet glued to the carpet unable to move. Her eyes were locked with the menacing blue ones across from her, the only thing on show on his face. The rest was covered by a black mask, hiding his jaw and nose, a dark shadow outlining his eyes. His hair was long and fell just above his shoulders, wavy towards the end and dark as night. He was dressed in a leather jacket, straps adorning the chest and long black pants tucked into heavy duty boots with tight laces. Attached to his waist was a belt with many weapons hanging on. Violet scanned him further and found more weapons attached to his boots, the holsters on his side and his thighs.

But what caught her eye the most was his arm. The left one, completely covered in metal. It shined under the small light escaping in the cracks of the curtains. His long fingers were curled, gripping the end of the arm of the plush chair he was sat in. She noticed the bright red star on his shoulder but apart from that, there was only metal. No skin, no flesh, nothing but pure metal.

The silence in the room was beating down on her and she could hear herself breathing heavily. Her body tensed and began to shake as she didn't know what to do.

Who was he? How did he get in her room? Why was he here?

So many questions flooded her mind but none that she could answer. The man stayed sitting in the plush chair but slightly titled his head to the side, as if he was thinking. His eyes stayed locked on hers and Violet gulped. She was too scared to scream for help. The man had about ten weapons on him and the time it would take for security to come help her, she could be dead in that time.

"W-who are you?" she whimpered softly, pressing herself against the desk. Her hand started to reach back to grab her phone. She could try to call someone on her phone, hoping they would get to her. If she called someone and they answered and heard she wasn't replying, they might think something suspicious of her and of course her phone had a tracker inside, so they'd be able to locate her.

His metal finger flexed, a sharp clinking sound echoing in the room as he did and then he reached into one of the holsters on his thigh, pulling out a small hang gun. Violet froze, ceasing her movements as she sucked in a shaky breath. Saliva was building at the back of her throat and her stomach rolling with fear.

"Please don't hurt me" she whispered, the tone of her voice begging with the dark man across from her. He slowly raised his head, poking his chin out before pushing himself off the chair. He was tall, which only made him look more menacing and dangerous.

"I'm not going to hurt you… as long as you behave" his voice was slightly muffled, but she heard every word loud and clear. She felt her heart thump inside her chest, the sound louder in her ears than it actually was, and she swallowed again. She silently moved her hand backwards to feel for her phone, trying to not make it obvious. But he caught sight of her and in a flash, he held up his gun, pointing it directly at her head. Violet froze again and a look of terror appeared on her face.

"Ah, ah ah…phone" he tutted, and Violet swallowed.

Fuck she thought and she grimaced, sighing in defeat as she held out her phone. He stepped forward and snatched it from her. He pressed the phone into one of his pockets and released the gun, his arm hanging by his side. Now she needed a different plan. Each room in the white house had a panic button, encase of emergencies or situations just like this one. There was one beside her bed and another by her desk. If she could reach it and activate it, the guards would come as fast as cheetahs.

"Wh-what do you want?" she was trying to distract him as well as find out why he was here.

"Information" he said simply and took a step forward.

Violet stared at him for a moment before realisation hit her. There was only one person that could want information… Hydra. Why else would there be a man dressed in weapons like that. It was clear he was with Hydra. But why was he asking for information from her? She didn't know anything. Sure, she knew that Hydra were planning to take over but nothing about how they were going to stop them. So, they sent one of their… soldier's, to come and retrieve information from her. But she didn't know anything, there was nothing for her to give.

Suddenly Violet felt her stomach roll again as she recognised him. The figure on the lawn, she could have sworn she saw something. He was the exact height and build that she noticed, it had to be him. So, he was stalking her it seemed. Violet felt sick to her core, knowing someone had been watching her. And the other night… when she came back to get her phone, the window was open. It could only have been him. It creeped her to her bones that he was in her bedroom. He could have done anything, he could have planted some devices around her room, rooting around through her things for 'information'.

"I, I don't know anything" she stuttered, and the soldier took another step forward, inching closer to her. She wasn't lying, she really didn't know anything. There was nothing she could tell him that would please him.

"It's not a good idea to lie to me" he said menacingly.

"I don't know anything, honestly" she pressed herself deeper into the desk, the edge hard against her back and uncomfortable. She couldn't get any further away than she was now. The button was on the wall on the right-hand side of the desk, and she started to inch closer, trying again to not make her movements suspicious and obvious. The soldier had his eyes locked on her and was not dropping them.

He crept forwards, now only a few inches form her. Violet could smell the dark and musky odour dripping off him, the smell sexy and enduring. It was almost like a drug, sending her on a high and intoxicating her, distracting her from her plan of escape. His stare was intimidating enough but the fact he was now almost leaning over her made her heartbeat faster than ever and her body tingle. She had managed to move closer to the panic button but the job of pressing it was going to be trickier than she thought.

He was directly in front of her, his breathing heavy and muffled by the mask. Violet thought for a second and wondered what he looked like without it but quickly brushed that thought away. Why was she bothering to think about what he looked like when he had a gun in his hand and was being all intimidating and scary.

"I don't believe you" he murmured, and Violet blinked silently. She was beside the button, only an arm's length away. She could take her chance and press it and face the consequences from the soldier or wait until she had a safer chance. Her adrenaline was telling her to push it now as she may not have a chance before something happened to her. And so, she did.

She flung her arm back to whack the button, sending the alert to the security dotted around the house but the soldier was quicker. It was as if he knew her movement before she did it. His hand reached out and grabbed her wrist, snapping it in front of her and she gasped from the suddenness. His fingers squeezed her wrist tightly and she hissed in pain.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" he whispered, and her eyes grew wider. Suddenly, Violet was grabbed and shoved up against one of the walls, a yelp escaping her. A knee pressed itself between her legs, opening them up and his flesh hand reached up and grabbed her throat, long fingers wrapping around like a python. Violet gagged and held onto his wrist, fighting back for air. He was strong and tough, and her weak muscles were no match for his.

"Please, I don't know anything I- "his fingers squeezed tighter, ceasing her pleas and she fell silent as she stared up at him with puppy dog eyes.

"Be quiet, you wouldn't want me to have to hurt anyone would you" his voice was soft but demanding and she shook her head, a little whimper coming from her lungs.

"Good girl" his eyes squinted as if he was smiling form underneath the mask. His hand relaxed on her throat and she was able to suck in a breath. His thumb started to graze her chin, rubbing over it with the pad and Violet shivered a little, the feeling sending a tingle through her body.

"Please, what do you want?" she whimpered softly.

"Hydra knows your father is planning something and I'm here to find out what that is" it was true then; he was working with Hydra.

"I know you know something" his hand left her throat and replaced it with his gun. He trailed the gun up her chest, the end grazing her, and he placed it under her chin, pushing her head up to expose her neck and forcing her to look at him.

"And you're going to be a good girl and tell me everything" he said dominantly, and Violet gasped.

His eyes flickered down to her chest and eyed her up. With his flesh hand, he trailed his fingers across her chest, running it between her breasts and Violet flinched as he touched her stomach. He chuckled softly under the mark, his lips turning to a smirk although she couldn't see and when he reached his hand between her legs, she pushed herself into the wall further. A tingle shot through her body, and she couldn't help but like the feeling. But she knew it was wrong, she knew it was beyond normal. He was the enemy, and he was touching her, feeling her body and she was liking it.

Violet felt her eyes flutter close as she gave into the sensations, allowing him to feel her. even though his hand was outside her jeans, the pressure was sending pleasure through her, and she felt a hot flush come over her body, her pale skin lighting up. Her lips parted open as a moan escaped her and she gasped to herself as she realised what she had done. The gun pressed further into her chin, and she was back to reality.

"Okay, okay… I don't know exactly what he's planning… but… the Avengers, the Avengers are going to help" she squeaked, and the soldier froze, staring at her. That was all he needed to know.

"And…" he pressed, wondering if there was more, she was hiding.

"That's it, that's all I know" she whispered and the gun from under her chin dropped. Violet relaxed a little, the tension floating away.

"Good girl" he praised, and he stepped away from her, leaving her pinned to the wall. Violet watched as he stomped to the window, pulling it up and sticking his leg out to jump but he stopped. He reached into his pocket and pulled her phone out, throwing it on the bed with ease. He took one last look at her, his eyes staring deeply at her as she stayed against the wall.

"Sleep tight" and with that he jumped from the window.

Violet let out the shaky breath she was holding in and after a few seconds, she pushed herself off the wall, instantly running her hands through her hair.

Fuck what have I done?
