Chapter 2 y'all! Thanks to those who supported my story.

Lemon ahead. Viewer discretion advised.

Finn made his way to a small cave near the coasts of Ooo. He left his horse at the mouth and pet her head before entering on foot. It was dark and shallow; the light of another home was easily found inside. Finn followed the glow and made his way to the door of the home then loudly knocked three times.

There was silence. No response followed and the cave was as silent as it was when he came in. He looked around and waited for something to happen. Either the resident wasn't home yet, or she was playing a trick on him. The latter was more likely in Finn's experience. He sighed and began to leave. He wasn't in the mood for her jokes. But the door opened with a loud creak "on its own"

Finn sighed again and rolled his eyes. He turned around and entered the home then looked up. What was next was to be expected. The upside-down vampire pounced him and landed on top then leaned down so their faces were only inches apart.

"So, the Executioner enters my home. What am I to expect? Has someone blamed me for treachery? Robbery? Insurrection? Treason? Murder perhaps?" She went to remove his cowl and shroud, but his hand stopped her.

"Don't kid yourself, Marcy. If I was here to kill you, you'd be dead. I've killed deadlier things than you."

Marceline floated up and shrugged. "Yeah, that's true. But I'd be prepared for it if you were."

She helped him to his feet. "I don't have any doubt you would." He dusted himself off and dug into his satchel. "Now, to business. This letter came from you. I am executing one of the council members?"

Marceline reclined in the air. "Even my father needs advisors. Ruling the Nightosphere is more than just tormenting bad peeps. It's more like… running a business with an unwilling clientele."

Finn crossed his arms. This was information he already knew. "Right."

Marceline was silent as was Finn, hoping she'd elaborate. Seeing as he was watching her expectantly she shrugged and stared back. "What?"

"You haven't mentioned the target, what he looks like, or even where he stays. All I have is that he's a council member and most likely a demon. If he's from the Nightosphere."

Marceline snickered and grinned. "That's all there really is, dude. Just do your executioner thing and… kill him."

"I was told your father wanted this done quietly. To send a message to the others. Probably something like, 'Nothing happens in this dimension lest I hear of it,' perhaps?"

Marceline snickered again and flew around his head and massaged his shoulders. "You know him so well. But why in such a hurry?" She grinned and flew in front of him upside-down when he slapped her hands away. "Let me guess. Pretty Pink isn't fond of sharing her favorite toy?"

Finn glared at her but was so much offended as he was annoyed. "I came here to do my job. So, if you don't mind…"

Marceline huffed and blew a stray strand of hair out of her face. "Fine. All work no play works for me too."

"I doubt that," Finn muttered just loud enough so she could hear.

Marceline opened a portal to the Nightosphere and faced him. "My father agreed to let you out through the portal in his room once you're done. He'll give you your payment too. The portal will lead back here. Your target is this guy. Can't miss him. Every demon is kinda unique looking." She gave him a photo to look at. "His name is Juvante. Any other questions while you can still ask, Executioner?"

Finn looked into the hellscape of the Nightosphere and faced Marceline. "In my last visit your father was mentioned you didn't seem fond of him. Why help him?"

Marceline sighed. "When he's being a father, he's not so bad. When he's being king of the Nightosphere? He sucks. If we were a normal family, I think we'd get along more."

Finn nodded and headed for the door, "I need to get a few things. Keep the portal open."

"Oh, come on, it's letting all the cool air out!" She growled.

Finn ignored her and returned to his horse. On her was a heavy bag that Finn relieved her of. "I'm gonna be gone a while, Beatrice. Why don't you go run off and I'll see you later." He undid her bridle and saddle then slapped her hindquarters. "Go on." She trotted off and looked back but Finn made a shooing motion. "Go, I'll whistle when I need you." The smart horse trotted off again and took off at a quick galop. Finn chuckled and picked up his bag then slung it around his shoulder. He placed the bridle on the saddle and picked both up. Then he returned to Marceline's home. He kicked the door open and dropped the saddle to the side.

"Oh, sure, make yourself at home," Marceline said sarcastically as she started tunning her bass.

Finn ignored her again and place his bag on the coffee table then opened it. Inside were several mechanisms both mechanical and magical in nature, potions, weapons, ammo, and enchanted items. He dragged his fingers across the many choices he had and picked one he deemed necessary and attached it to the leather strap on his wrist. It slicked on as if it had been missing from his uniform. With the flick of his wrist, it unfolded into a crossbow. Finn checked the calibration then took a selection of ammo he had next to it and placed them in an assigned strap on his many leather vestments. Marceline's interest was piqued.

"Ooh, so these are the toys of an Executioner…" She went to pick one up, but Finn slapped her hand.

"Don't touch." He went to another contraption and snapped it into place on this left wrist. A quick flick and a spear like point swung out. He gripped the spear tip with his gloved hand and pushed a button with his middle finger. Marceline could hear the mechanisms whine as he pulled the rope out and then pulled it back in and the blade hid away. Finn took a dagger and drew it out. Even Marceline drew back at the sight of it. Another red blade, like the one he carried around on his saddle. "You know what this is?"

"A demon blade," She replied, "You're playing with fire, Executioner. You don't mess around."

"I'm already bound to eternal suffering in the afterlife," Finn retorted and secured the blade under his coat. Finn then checked over his bag and secured it when he felt he didn't need anything else. "Take care of this for me." He walked to the edge where the portal was and turned around. "And don't touch anything." Finn jumped through the portal, headfirst.

Marceline closed the portal and huffed. Then she grinned and turned towards the bag. "So, let's see what other toys you have, shall we?"

Finn watched flames of the Nightosphere come closer and closer until he drew out his grapple then fired it at a rock formation. The sudden change of course would have pulled his arm out of socket had his uniform not been designed to counter it. pulling his body rather than his arm alone, the grapple corrected his course where he slid down the slope of rock and managed to stay on his feet as he ran out the rest of the inertia. As soon as he was on solid ground he gained his bearing and looked around the wasteland of his future. He took a moment to take in the destination of his fate. It was strange. Right now, he could walk in freely and do as he please all the while accomplishing his purpose. But soon, this would be his home, his life, and there would possibly be no escape to any of it. It was surreal to him, but as soon as he saw Abadeer Castle he took off in a run to reach it. It was far, but it wouldn't be a problem to reach for him. Even through all the wasteland and lakes of torment, he found it no trouble to get around. Grappling over lake he had to ignore the cries ad pleas for help and continue to reach the castle. He could see the long lines of people waiting to get in for whatever reason stretch across the entire land. He, however, wasn't planning to enter in through the front door.

Sliding down the vantage point and firing his grapple. His reached the walls the of the palace and began to scale it. He was already sweating up a lake, and the stench of the Nightosphere wasn't helping him breath any better. But he pushed on. Now on the walls, he looked around for guards then ran along the walls. He hid in a watchtower and then continued into the castle to search for the council member.

He met a guard partway in his search. Finn hid behind a pillar and let him pass, circling around the blind spot and continuing his search. He managed to make it to a room. Searching it he found quickly that it was not his target's room and began elsewhere. He had done this for maybe an hour. Dodging guards, searching rooms, hiding from their residents, and continuing like a ghost inside the castle. He had wished that Marceline had more information for him. But just as he began his grumbling hiding in a dark crevice of the castle, he looked up and saw his target. He was being escorted by two demons larger than himself.

"There you are," Finn grinned to himself. He tailed the three and watched for more trouble. He needed to wait for a more opportune moment. The demon was looking around for something it seemed. Maybe expecting him? Finn didn't care. He was suspected on multiple occasions but none of them helped the victim.

"Await here," the smaller demon demanded. "I will be out shortly." He sounded angry. Maybe he knew that the king was onto him.

Still, Finn needed a way in now. He could go through the door if he had a distraction. Or maybe get rid of the guards? They seemed loyal to the councilor. Then again, he could find the window to the counselor's room. That would be risky though, and it might take too long. Finn dug into his pouches for things that could work. nothing too alarming. Just enough for them to turn their attention away from the door. Finn had it. Granted it would only work if they weren't smart enough to keep one at the door and make the other investigate. Then he'd have to kill them for sure. But then the crossbow on his arm caught his attention. The darts were specially meant for demons. But only to put them asleep. That would be all he needed to do. Bu the wanted to avoid the use. The ingredients for the potion inside were hard to come by. So, he took his chance. He took the tiny fire popper and threw it down another hall then hid. It popped and the guards both looked that way. Finn waited. They didn't budge. He sighed and threw a second popper. The lure wasn't working according to plan. Neither of them budged. They just seemed confused.

Finn sighed. New plan: he was going to separate them. He'd probably have to kill them too. They were loyal to a treasonous counselor. Who was to say they didn't know? Finn leaned over and whistled. This time the guards had to investigate. One readied their fork while the other started to make his way over. Finn readied a dart and loaded a second into the crossbow. Either this would work, and he'd only have two unconscious guards and a dead councilor, or he'd have three dead demons. Either way, as long as the counselor didn't come out of that room, he would finish his job soon. The first came closer and closer as the second watched him disappear from sight a little. Finn leaned over as low as he could then struck with the dart quickly and remained out of sight.

The first demon dropped like a rock as soon as the potion injected. Finn recycled the dart and then made his way to the second guard and fired the second at the remaining guard. With both out of commission, he could leave them, their discovery changed nothing, and kill his target. Taking out his dagger he peaked into the room and searched for sighs of his target. The demon was pacing back and forth. Finn waited for him to turn away before gracefully entering and rolling over to his bed. The demon had no idea he was inside. Still, he paced, and he grumbled. Whispering curses at Hunson Abadeer who he believed was now onto him. He was whispering words of treason and confirming his condemnation to be just. There was no doubt now. Not that Finn ever doubted the validity of his targets. He did as he was told. He was doomed to suffer hellfire whether he took an innocent life or not. But demons never could derive the benefit of innocence regardless.

Finn waited for him to turn around again. Once his chance had come he approached quietly and gripped the shoulder of the demon, turning him around and forcing his dagger into his heart. There was no chance for a cry nor alarm. He was quiet and breathless. Finn guided him to his bed and twisted the dagger.

"By order of the king," he recited from memory, "You are hereby banished from the Nightosphere under pain of death for treason, conspiring against a royal party, and the disgracing of the name of your king." Finn tore the dagger out and gripped his shoulder. He hadn't expected the blade to be so locked within the demon's skin and when he tore away he pulled his shoulder slightly. Still, the deed was done, the light in the demon's eyes faded and his dead was assured. With the letter in its place, he burned his directions then took the head of the councilor as proof of his deed. As was custom of the executioner to do. He put the head in a sack and threw it over his shoulder then tied it around him so it would stay.

Now, to report to the king. This wouldn't be so hard. All he had to do was shove his way through the line and petition a meeting with the king. He would not deny him since he was the executioner. Climbing out of the window and lowering himself to the wall then to the ground he made his way to the front gates and began to push and shove the souls around.

"Make way," He demanded. "Urgent business with the king."

"Wait your turn, man, we're all waiting!" A soul shouted as the others joined him.

Finn grunted dismissively then pulled out a talisman. "I said make way."

Their heads bowed and they began to move to the side. The talisman belonged to the king's servants. Those who had authority to throw them into greater damnations then the ones they suffered now.

He finally made it to the gate and before the next soul could speak to the king Finn shouted over him. "My king! I have an urgent meeting if your time can be bought."

Hunson Abadeer looked his way viciously to keep his scary appearance, but a big grin formed over his monstrous head. "Executioner!" He laughed and stood to his feet. The sound of the word sent the people backing away from Finn. Even down in the Nightosphere he was feared. They heard stories of him casting them into pits of fire and mazes of eternity. But some remembered when he had take their lives in the name of justice.

He stepped forward and bowed. The guards all started to shout at the souls to get out. The king's court was no longer taking visitors. With the courts empty Hunson shooed his guards away and turned into a humbler figure to speak with Finn. He fixed his tie and cleared his throat. "Executioner, right this way. Is it done?"

Finn nodded, "As you commanded. I've brought his head as proof." Finn uncovered the head and King Abadeer took it and threw it in the fire nonchalantly.

"Nice, kid. That's all I needed. Right this way, your payment and way home is in the portal. My demons are gonna straighten up after this. As soon as they discover his body and read the letter, they'll know nothing happens in the Nightosphere lest I hear about it."

"Of course," Finn said under his breath, "How did I know."

"You are a credit to your name, kid. Just like your father and his father before him. it's gonna be a real shame to see you down here, but… hey, business is business. No hard feelings, right?"

Finn was uncomfortable about the subject, but he tried to act like it meant nothing to him. "Yes, and until that time, I'd like to remain in Ooo."

"Of course," Abadeer chuckled, "Of course." He led him to his quarters and opened his closet. "There it is. Oh, and before I forget." He reached over and grabbed a bag, "Payment for a job well done. Don't spend it all in one place." He laughed knowing full well Finn couldn't help that. He hardly had a choice. "By, kid, see you some other time!" He laughed and closed the portal behind Finn who glared at the man briefly before dropping his payment next to his saddle. He sighed, the sudden temperature change was nice, but also chilling. He had gone from a hot and humid climate with terrible smells to a cool dry house with fresh air in just a few steps. Taking in the fresh air and seizing the moment to rest, he had half expected Marceline to start taunting him or something. Instead, it was quiet, and she was nowhere to be seen. Then he noticed that his bag was rolled open.

"Of course, she did," He said to himself, "You didn't expect her to really listen, did you?"

Finn checked the bag over. She had lazily put everything back after having probably messed with every contraption. Fixing his equipment and placing the equipment he used back inside the bag, he had taken an inventory in what he would need to replace. His two darts would need refilling that was for sure. But upon further inspection he realized an ampule of a certain red liquid was missing. Finn sighed again and dropped his head. "Marceline…"

He looked at the ladder across the room. No doubt she was up there with it. Finn put his dagger back into the pack and rolled it up into a bag again. Then he made his way to the ladder and peaked his head into Marceline's room. She was sprawled out onto her messy bed and snoring rather loudly. Finn chuckled and climbed the rest of the way into her room then made his way to her bed. She was hardly in it, but she was pretty sound asleep. Finn found the ampule on her bedstand.

Rose Nectar. Named for its rosy, red color it makes for a good toxin to some creatures. But ingest it carefully with a little something such as alcohol… Finn looked again and saw the red wine also on her nightstand. He chuckled. Of course, she did. Why would he expect differently? In small doses, Rose Nectar made for a euphoric drug. With some slight aphrodisiac effects. And judging by the messy bed and the empty ampule she had quite the adventure.

Finn put the ampule down and then began to roll Marceline over so she could be comfortable. Placing her on her back and ignoring her half naked body in a baggy shirt, he picked her up and placed her in a more dignified position with her head on a pillow and the covers at her feet. He then fixed the blankets and brought them up to her shoulders. As he straightened out her bed he felt a hand grab his wrist softly. He looked down at Marceline who was grinning at him.

"Kept me waiting for a while, Executioner. How'd it go?" She asked in a sort of coherent mumble.

"It was done as I was instructed to. I have received my payment. I see you made yourself comfortable with my things."

Marceline pulled him down and got him pinned to the bed. "I couldn't help it. You're the coolest guy around, didn't you know? The whole world shuns you because they think your cursed, but the truth is they just don't like a man whose purpose is to kill. Even for justice." Finn turned his head to look away. He sighed again but there was no reply. Marceline reached up and pulled his hood back then made him look at her. "That makes you most interesting to me. And If the princess of the candy kingdom thinks she can have that all to herself, she should think again."

"I am sworn to remind you that as the upbringer of the Executioners, she has the right to command me. And she would want me to remind you 'who I belong to.'"

Marceline laughed. "Of course, she would. But if she knew anything about me. She'd know I don't care." She began unbuckling his uniform. "I take what I want." She opened his coat. "When I want." She removed his shroud. "Whether she wants me to… or not." Marceline had him partially exposed and reached for a glass on the nightstand. She drank the rest of her red wine and gave him a smile. "Just in case you got into the mood or not."

Finn chuckled and sat up. Her head was free and exposed and after her shook his coverings he kissed her. Marceline moaned into the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck. They kissed passionately for a while then Marceline threw his disposed of layers off the bed to make their session more comfortable. He turned her over and got rid of his last top layer then helped her with her baggy shirt. As soon as her chest was exposed, Finn began to touch and feel her bare chest and play with the sensitive tips of her nipples.

"Mm, you're too used to having sex with Bonnie aren't you? That feels good and all, but a gal like me… needs it a bit more hardcorps." She dug her claws into his back to make him angry. The pain did trigger a bit of an animalistic response from him as he tried to retaliate. A bit too well from what Marceline anticipated. He twisted one of her nipples and reached down to her nether region to press his fingers into her. "Ah! Yeah, that's more like it. But I don't do foreplay. Now put it in already!"

Finn dropped his trousers and nearly ripped her panties off. She straightened her legs out so he could pull them off easily then felt him thrust into her quickly. "Okay, too fast!" She moaned, "Let me adjust, dude!" Finn stopped inside her and waited for her to finish her breather. She sucked in and breathed out as her pain subsided and then exhaled. "Okay, I'm ready."

He slowly began to thrust into her. Marceline laid flat on her bed and moaned as he began a steady tempo, starting gently then slowly but eventually getting tougher and faster. She gripped her sheets and grunted as he had started to thrust harder. "Yeah, just like that."

Finn grunted feeling her nails at his back again, scratch and claw. It was actually rather exciting. He chuckled as he thrusted harder. "You know that's gonna sting me tomorrow right?"

"Suck it up," She smirked smugly at him, "You know you like it. now how about a little retaliation?"

"Suite yourself." Finn picked her up and turned her around then slammed her against the wall. Then he lined up at a different entrance.

"Wait…Wait!" She gasped as he thrusted into her. She moaned and whimpered in pain; the quick entry didn't allow for her to adjust fast enough. "Ow! Pull out! Ow! Jeeze." Finn pulled out and eyed her.

"If you can't take it, don't provoke me," He deadpanned then walked back.

"I didn't expect you to walk in on the back door," She retorted, "Sheesh, at least enter slowly." she rubbed her rear and took deep breaths. "Okay, it's starting to feel better. Slowly this time, okay?"

Finn shrugged and lifted her leg. "Front or back? Might as well set the boundary now."

Marceline snickered. "Back. Duh. If you're going to start something with me, you better commit. Just… slowly." Finn scoffed and lined up then entered her… slowly. Marceline sucked in sharply and blew air out her mouth. "Yeah, there we go."

"For someone who likes it 'hardcorps' you sure like it gentle," Finn finally said.

That seemed to twang a nerve. Marceline glared at him fiercely and smacked him then pushed him on the ground. "You want hardcorps? I'll give you hardcorps." She pounced on him and pinned him to the ground then mounted him. He sucked in sharply feeling the tightness of her rear engulf his member and squeeze. She started bouncing on his member and moaned louder. She finally released one of his hands so she could brush out her hair and shake if free so it would be a bit messier.

Finn took his free hand and started to trace her hip and waist. She let go of his other hand and leaned back then started to rub her clit as she bounced. "Oh, glob that feels good."

Finn sat up and wrapped and arm around her, the other tracing her spin then gripping the back of her hair. They entered into a kiss tongues intertwining. Her longer beastlike tongue had and easier time exploring his mouth that he did hers. Marceline then bounced up, picking him up in the process, and dropped over onto the bed.

"Whoa," Finn laughed after he landed on his back, "Easy there, Marcy."

Marceline laughed as she traced her body then stretched her arms over her head brushing her hair out again in the process then pinned him to the bed. "If you can't take it, don't provoke me." She poked his chest to put punctuate her point. Then traced it down his chest and abbs, until she reached his member, realigned it, and guided it in. they began to pick up speed, matching each other's movement to maximize the pleasure for one another. Marceline's moaning excited Finn more and feeling her body from curve to breast made him thrust with more energy. She definitely had more stamina then PB he knew that much by now. Both of them still had yet to release.

"Getting close yet?" She asked coincidently. "I'm starting to feel a little close."

"Nope," Finn grinned back.

Marceline frowned a little and then sighed. "Shit. How?" Finn shrugged as he started edging her closer. Marceline fell forward and kept bouncing. She was just at the edge now. "Grod! You don't know how hard it is not to bite you right now."

Finn chuckled and kissed her cheek then felt her stop moving and tense up. She grunted and gasped then dropped limp on top of him. "Did that help?" He teased.

"Shut up," She huffed.

"Finished?" He asked again trying to get on her nerves.

Marceline sat up a little and glared at him. "Are you?"

Finn shrugged. "Almost, but… you came too quickly." He helped her off then sat up. "You look exhausted, get some rest."

"Oh no you don't," She pulled him back and remounted him. "We're not done until you are. I'm good for another round."

Finn scoffed and sat up to kiss her neck. "I thought you'd never ask."

Marceline giggled and wrapped her arms around him. "What was that about belong to Bonnie?"

Finn shrugged. "I think she knows what's happening. She'll get what she wants. She always does."

"That's what I'm talking about," Marceline pressed her forehead against his. "So, I don't know about you, but I like a mess. So… feel like giving a girl a facial?"

Finn turned her over, so he was on top, "If you'd like." He reentered her making her moan then started to pick up speed. They went on for some time until Finn's breathing changed.

"You close?' She asked.

"Yeah, pretty close," He grunted, "Just a little longer."

Marceline pushed him back, "I'll do it." She wrapped her hand around his member then stroked at it putting her mouth on the tip and bobbing her head up and down. Finally, she felt a spurt of liquid fill her mouth. She opened wide and closed one eye as another spurt covered her face. Then another and a another. It covered some of her hair, leaked into her mouth and blanketed one side of her face.

With both satisfied Finn laid on the bed and sighed in relief. "That's better."

"You thought I'd let you go with a stiffy?" She giggled then paused. "Well, I probably would do that under normal circumstances. But… Tonight was special."

"I kill a demon for your father and that makes it special?" Finn chuckled.

Marceline continued to lick up the mess on her face with her long tongue and shrugged. "Meh, it's the simple things in life." She swallowed the contents she gathered then wiped her eye clean. "How do I look?"

Finn scratched his head. "You still have some…" he pointed at his own forehead and then around his hair.

Marceline got the idea then floated to her bathroom. "You were pretty pent up. I would think Bonnie would have you whenever she liked."

"People would get suspicious," Finn said getting to his feet and putting on his clothes.

"Uh huh," She rinsed her face off then looked in the mirror as she tried cleaning off her hair. "Well, I wouldn't rouse suspicion, would I?"

Finn sighed and rolled his eyes as he grinned. "Marcy, I know what you're asking. And the answer is no."

Marceline peaked her head out form the bathroom. "And what am I asking, Executioner? Okay, seriously, that's a mouth full. What's your real name?"

"To answer your first question, you want me to visit more often. I have business to attend to most ofo the day and unless I am called her on business I won't have time for… 'normal visits.'"

"Oh, boo," Marceline crossed her arms and floated in front of him with a pout. Finn continued to dress, "You could stay the night, at least."

"Jake will worry," Finn replied, "And as for my name, I can't say. It's dead. I gave it up the day I was initiated as the Executioner. So, I'm sorry, but 'Executioner' will have to do."

Marceline huffed and dropped on her bed. The view of her nude form sprawled out with her raven hair covering only so much of her pale for was exciting, but Finn looked away. He couldn't stay much longer.

Then Marceline flipped her body around and laid on her belly, bringing her feet up behind her as she propped her head on an arm. "What if your horse doesn't come back? What are you going to do with your stuff? Carry it all the way over there?"

Finn finished putting his uniform on then took his shroud in his hand and smiled back at her. "Yup." He tied the shroud and lifted the hood over his head. Marceline frowned seeing him fully clothed and determined to leave.

She picked up her baggy shirt and put it on before floating over to him and stopping him from reaching the ladder. She crossed her arms and deadpanned at him. "Do you really expect me to let you walk in the dark with a saddle and a heavy bag?"

Finn crossed his arms. "Are you offering help?"

"Stay," She said hugging him. "What's the problem? No one will know."

Finn looked down and completed the hug. "Look, this isn't just about protecting reputation, Marcy… I'm the Executioner. If I'm going to be married, it will be planned and assigned to me. I don't want you to get attached to me… And PB… I don't want it to hurt her or you… I don't want to hurt anyone."

Marceline sighed. "You're thinking too much… She can assign whoever she wants. She's basically the mediator of Ooo. If anything, she can say that there is no one left compatible to ensure your bloodline except her. So, under some bogus emergency act, to keep the curse of your bloodline from spreading to another family, she will sacrifice her place as a royal to ensure your bloodline continues and the curse is secured to you."

Finn tilted his head, "Can she do that?"

Marceline giggled and floated back. "Trust me, I now Bonnie." Marceline then shrugged and added. "And if that happens she'll jus have to get used to sharing."

Finn scoffed and scratched his head. "Ah… uh huh."

Marceline giggled again then pressed her forehead to his again. "So…? How about that name?"

Finn chuckled and closed his eyes, feeling her head against his. But he suddenly pulled away and pat her shoulder. "Ask Peebs. She knows."

"What?!" Marceline asked frustratedly. "How does she know!"

"She has access to my family records, Marcy," Finn replied as he slid down the ladder. "She was going to find out whether tradition dictates she can or can't."

"That pink, bastardly bitch!" Marceline flew down slammed herself against the door.

"Marceline, this stuff is heavy, can you please get the door?" Finn asked as he deadpanned at her.

She glared back at him defiantly, but then forcibly opened the door and began pouting. "I'm going to get your name, one way or another, dude. Might as well be you."

"And what's going to happen when you find out?" Finn asked, "I'm not hiding it. I just buried it. It's tradition!"

Marceline was beginning to hate that word. "Fuck tradition!" Her door slammed.

Finn chuckled and let out a sharp whistle. Once he reached the mouth of the cave luck would have it that Beatrice was galloping towards him. "Hey girl," he greeted. "Ready to go home?" She grunted in response and started nosing his face. "Okay then," he laughed. "Let's get you strapped up and go home." It occurred to him right then, that he had forgotten something. Something that was probably important to tell her. He contemplated going through with it as he strapped Beatrice up again. But once the bag was secured to the saddle and Finn had only to mount her and leave and the task would have to be completed another day. But his conscious wouldn't let him go. Taking another look at her house, he let out a sigh and knocked on her door.

Marceline answered it and raised a brow. "What? Did you change your mind?" She put her hand above her head and on the door post then leaned on it with her other hand on her hip.

Finn cleared hi throat and replied. "I just thought you might want to know. I… executed Ash yesterday. The charges were… numerous. But Murder was primarily the reason."

Marceline frowned indifferently. "Really? That's it? Tell me you at least used a demon blade."

Finn nodded. "I did. He… didn't go quietly."

Marceline scoffed. "And I wasn't there to see it… Next, you'll tell me your name and the day will just get better."

"No, sorry," Finn shook his head. "But, since Ash doesn't seem to matter to you, I suppose my business is concluded here. Goodnight, Marceline."

Marceline stopped him and gave him a kiss. "That's for giving Ash what he deserved… You did the right thing… Exy."

"Exy?" Finn asked.

"Well, it's either that or you name. Take your pick," She grinned.
