So, this is a new story based on the Clan generator drawing challenge! I haven't been writing much, other than in my creative writing class. But hopefully this pulls me out of my blockage with warrior writings. With the Clan generator challenge, I used the first one that popped up when I did a google search (aka, the one everyone is using). That's how I came up with these cats, a few I changed to fit family lines, and just to add my own touch. Along with changing the names to fit the backstory I have behind these new cats' stories.

Okay, so the backstory.

This goes in the original Warriors universe. In this timeline, the Clans are faced with a natural disaster. A horrible hurricane that not only flooded the lake, causing massive damage, but also the high winds and tornados that the hurricane brought uprooted trees and stones. It misplaced the Clans, with many of the too young and old dying first, with healthy warriors and apprentices following.

The Clans traveled as one, and still currently are looking for a place to settle down and call home. With this already a season has passed, and few families remain within the Clans. As they were too suspicious of outsiders to let them join, afraid to let anything else hurt them, and with the hunger, new dangers and more causing their numbers to dwindle even more.

The leaders, warriors rushed into their role after deputies and their leaders' lives were used up in the horrible misfortune of the past season, decided to try and change. They are pushing now than ever to find a spot to settle down, are letting medicine cats to have kits and to let mix-clan relationships happen to try and get their numbers back to a steady spot, and 're-branded' the Clans.

OakClan, the hunters and talkers, this is all that remains of ThunderClan. They are led by Goldstar, a nervous tom with a strong connection to his Clan. He doesn't want anything to do with outsiders, fearing that they will take what the hurricane didn't.

AshClan, the scouts of the traveling Clans, they are all that remains of WindClan. Led by Rookstar, and her siblings, Furpetal and Shadowfoot who have taken over the deputy and medicine cat roles. These three sisters have pushed most of the new laws and are a force that no one wants to tangle with. All in agreement, they are fierce and have had enough of their Clans history of being removed from their home.

BirchClan, the fishers and swimmers, they are all that remains of RiverClan. Led by Sootstar, an old tom who was a senior warrior, about to retire before he was thrusted into leadership. Calm, he is the voice of reason between the leaders, often the only one to try and push against Rookstar and her sibling's control.

PineClan, the muscle of the travelers, they are all that remains of ShadowClan. Led by Daffodilstar, the youngest out of all the leaders. She is often seen talking to Sootstar, asking the older tom for help with leading. It has created a strong bond between the two Clans, making it to where most of them have taken a liking to the new laws, although this may cause problems when the Clans finally find their forever homes and need to split...

Sitting on the high rock edge the elder tom looked over the destruction. Trees, pulled from their places in the earth now had their roots climbing towards the sky, bushes and chunks of the grounds floating by, carried by the strong currents of the over flooded lake. In the middle of the current, he could see the bloated, water-logged bodies of animals, what he could only hope weren't fellow Clancats.

Seeing the pelts float by he could feel hunger clawing at his stomach. How much prey had died in the wake of this curse? They barely have eaten since it started to rain, within days the cats were stuck to scrapes dug up from the soil, bones and fur with little meat from past meals. He shivered, still able to feel the maggots that wiggled in his mouth as he scarfed down whatever prey had been unearthed.

"So, this is where you went?" Looking into the shadows of the rock ledge, he blinked slowly at the approaching gray tomcat. "Moletail?"

"I'm fine," rasped Moletail. "Don't need to worry about me."

"How can I not?" Laying his tail across the old tomcats back he leaned into his side. "It's still rising." He murmured, his pale green eyes watching the floating debris.

Moletail could only nod. In all his seasons he had seen the lake rise and fall with the rain. There was always a concern when it went past the lake's sandy shores, or when it fell with a heavy drought. But this was something new, something that made the tom fear for their home. "What can we do?" He feared for the answer. Would they all be swept away like the trees? And what would happen to those who don't, would they starve to death? Be ruined by the craze of hunger?

The gray elder gave a sigh, his gaze finally leaving the raging river, a branch from it scraping close to the top of the rock. "The Clans will survive," he mumbled, giving the top of his mate's head a comforting lick, "even in the wake of disaster, the stars have a plan."

"You're too trusting of them," Moletail huffed, but couldn't help to feel a bit better. "Have they spoken to you, Stoneleap? Surely, they must be as worried as us?"

Stoneleap hummed. "There's a place out there for us," he whispered, barely a murmur above the crashing waves that seemed to grow closer to the ledge. "With land never touched by the twolegs, plenty of prey and territories so vast even WindClan couldn't run the whole length."

"Sounds like an eldertales."

Chuckling, the medicine cat nodded. "Maybe," he said, dropping his gaze to the shaggy pelted elder, "or it's our new home.'' As he spoke the rock shook, droplets splashing onto the two toms.

The water had reached them. Its angry crashing at the rock had caused it to shudder, loosened from its place on the ledge. Moletail's pelt fluffed out, his eyes blown wide as his mate clung to his side. The rock jutted out from under their feet, throwing them into the cold waters.

The current grabbed onto them, pulling them with the rest of the debris. Moletail spat out the dirt-infused water. His head barely staying above water before he was dragged under again. "Stone-!" A log crashed into him. The gnarly branches ripped into his pelt, blood bleeding out into the water as he clawed at the bark. Unable to see in the dark current, he drew tired, limbs falling numb as his lungs filled with the murky waters. As his eyes closed, he could've sworn he could see the bright outline of his mate floating towards him with the twinkling of stars in his pelt.
