Blackwing finished reading the story and went back and lied down next to Bunnystep. "So Bunnystep..." Blackwing started, Bunnystep lifted her head and looked at Blackwing. "What is it?"
"Out of curiosity why don't you have the skills a warrior normally has?" Blackwing asked. "Well, it's because the clan forgot about me for a while after I became an apprentice. Then one night I just slept in the warriors den." Bunnystep answered. "Wait so you had to train yourself? That explains it." Blackwing commented, settling in for the night. "I hope you don't mind me sleeping next to you tonight."
Bunnystep giggled a little. "Of course I'll let you sleep here furball!"
The next morning, Owlpelt walked in and observed the leg. "It looks like I've done as much as I can do. I'm unsure if you can continue your warrior duties Bunnystep." Owlpelt said, "I think you know why."
"Yeah I can feel it. Or would it be I wouldn't feel it?" Bunnystep stated. "Well you are free to go. I hope you still have a nice life Bunnystep."
Outside the camp, Blackwing and Bunnystep walked out to his treehouse, "I'm really trusting you here. But there is a way up for normal cats, you can probably see it." Blackwing mentioned. He was right, there was an obvious way up. Blackwing super jumped to the balcony. And observed Bunnystep making her way up to the balcony. "Come inside." Blackwing beckoned.
Inside the treehouse, he had a full set up. With a strange object on the wall with a strange looking nest above the door. "Sit down Bunnystep. I'll see to healing your leg to normal." Blackwing said, slipping on the gift he got years ago from his late friend. "Alright, are you ready? You'll feel sore for a while." Blackwing asked, Bunnystep nodded. "Okay, you agreed to this." Blackwing said closing his eyes, his cicada wing earpiece began to glow. Stay with me Bunnystep was the first thing that crossed his mind, then he quickly cleared his mind and focused on healing the leg.
Then eventually Bunnystep's leg slowly turned to normal. Before the cicada wings stopped glowing and Blackwing opened his eyes. He was a little exhausted. "Thanks Blackwing! Although I might be calling it too early, thanks!" Bunnystep thanked her friend with the energy of a young kit.
Blackwing stood up and cracked open the door, "I think you know your way back to camp from here. I'm going to get some rest." Blackwing said. Bunnystep nodded and walked through the door and closed it behind her. Blackwing hoped up to his bed hanging from the wall over the door. He laid down, slowly drifting to sleep. I hope that crossing thought didn't effect anything. He thought before finally drifting to sleep.
