Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or its characters; that right belongs to Hiro Mashima.

Author's Notes: Based on CoLu Week 2015, Prompt Family (Slight AR Lahar never died). And for the sake of this story (it pains me greatly as Lahar is one of my BAE's of FT) will be the obvious bad guy. So if you do not like that, I politely ask you to turn around andleave now because I don't see the point in you wasting your time and mine.

Author's Note 2: November is National Novelist Writers Month, aka Nanowrimo! I will again be participating in it. And this year I am going to solely focus on all my Fairy Tail Stories. So, my other stories will not be updated during the month of November. Sorry, not sorry. I am still going to leave this fandom after they are all done. And if, at some point, down the road I find my love for FT again, I will come back with new stories and hopefully a less toxic fandom.

The quiet that had fallen over the Guild was both a blessing and a curse, and Lucy knew it. There was going to be an epic fallout, but she was sure it would happen after Captain Lahar Ziegler of the Enforcement Squad of the Rune Knights left. She could see the thoughts on (now) very sober faces as they looked at the six tiny Dragon Slayers. Who were being very well behaved after her threat to give them to Aquarius and Virgo.

"Well, now that you all have been apprised of the situation, I would like you brats to help Lucy and Cobra with taking care of our six newest charges," Master Makarov said. "And do not worry, Rufus, as acting Guild Master of Saber Tooth has permitted us to house Sting and Rogue."

A soft discontented growl came from her left, and Lucy shifted her hand just a little to the small pouch she kept her keys in. Internally gloating when not only one but several plaintive whines were heard. It was going to be an uphill battle; this Lucy didn't doubt. And having all the help she could get because other than temporary jobs for babysitting, she had no clue how to raise a child. And while a few of the Guild members were married and had children of their own... she questioned Master even allowing others to help them.

"Yes, well... The Magic Council will be providing a fully paid for house in Lucy's name in which to house all the, uh.. mini-slayers until it is determined if this is permanent or temporary," Lahar said, his voice cracking on a few octaves. "And she will get a stipend for food, clothing and keep the house no matter what the outcome of this is about. And for Crime Sorciere, Princess Hisui stepped in and spoke up stating as of now they are free of crimes, that their Guild will be recognized as an independent Guild that hunts Dark Guilds for the Crown... thus getting a stipend to help finance these actions in the name of the Crown."

Lucy could tell that he didn't like having to say that. She shot him a side glance and could tell that those words left a bitter taste in his mouth, though he did a good job of not letting it show (completely) on his face. Then again, she had been privy to the conversation he had with the Magic Council, Master Makarov (who'd been busy while they'd been gone, and Princess Hisui. Oh, it has been so fucking glorious; Lucy had felt near tears of joy.

"Now, please contact us with updates as was requested for the preset dates Miss Heart- I mean Miss Lucy," Lahar said, catching himself before he got to see her temper again. "I need to get back to Era and make my report."

Feeling content, Lucy faced him and gave him her biggest, warmest smile. Again she found great amusement in watching his eyes go wide behind his black-horn rimmed glasses as pink dusted his cheeks. The way he bowed and did his best to not run from the Guild was even more hilarious. Then again, he found out on the way back that the rumors about her temper were not a joke.

"Damn, Jugs McGee, I think you broke that man mentally and emotionally," Cobra whispered in her ear.

With a small roll of her shoulders, Lucy walked away. Her mind was already jumping gears on setting up a routine for her new charges, from eating to sleeping and education. Oh, yes, she was going to make sure to educate the little heathens. There would be no excuse for ignorance and reckless behavior.

The loud burst of laughter behind her let Lucy know that Cobra enjoyed her current train of thoughts. This whole thing was cutting into her working on her novel and enjoying her plans of girl time. Then again, she felt bad for Cana, who was Laxus' current fuck buddy. She didn't know about Rogue, but she was more than aware that Sting was in a relationship with Yukino. Oh, that had to burn him painfully.

He let his eye track the blonde fairy as she made her way to the bar. Her soul was like walking into a damn church, while choir practice was going on. It was constantly shifting gears and music types, but it kept him amused. And with how strong her thoughts were, they implanted very clear visual aids. Though he did appreciate how her mind and soul were like organized chaos. And add in that she could be a creative, vindictive bitch was oddly appealing.

"Cobra?"

Turning, he looked at his Guild Leader, who was standing there with glazed eyes. He understood, to a degree, why Jellal was like that. Everyone was pardoned, now a part of a legit recognized guild that worked for the Royal Family of Fiore. Yeah, it was almost too good to be true. Yet, there was no denying it, as he has signed the decree for it. Meaning that he now had a clean slate, so to speak, but still had to work within the rules of the law. Meaning no torture to let off steam.

"If you need anything, just call us on the Lacrima Phone, okay?"

Giving a small nod of his head, Cobra turned to look at the six tiny Slayers. Noticing how uncomfortable they were at all the attention they received from the nutjob members of Fairy Tail. It was exceptionally amusing to hear the souls of Natsu, Sting, Gajeel, and Laxus cry out in horror as they were petted, poked, stroked, and cuddled. Wendy and Rogue just took it in stride ironically.

Then again, he knew if they did anything with their magic to get people off and away from them, Lucy would indeed call her spirits again. Oh yeah, on the way back via foot, since Lucy refused to have motion sick dragon slayers to clean up after. Natsu and Sting got into it to have Gajeel goad them further, causing the original two to get physical. From there, magic was brought in, and while not as powerful as their older? Yes, older forms, it still did a lot of damage to a mile stretch of forest.

To hear the soothing sounds of jazz go death metal in zero to sixty was impressive. Then the two were buried up to their necks in the ground as Virgo knelt over them. Lucy had proceeded to deliver an hour long lecture that ended with her removing her belt, lopping it, and snapping pointedly. All while Virgo stated she would hold them so they could receive punishment.

Cobra had heard the odd thrill of excitement and longing in the Spirits Soul, and it had creeped him out a bit. But that was a secret he would take to the grave with him because he wasn't one for being whipped. But the way a very flushed face Lucy had stood her ground, her stint tinted with spicy peppers of some sort made him even wary. Especially with the very detailed ideas that had popped into her mind. Nope, not going to cross that bridge anytime soon.

Besides, he wasn't sure how he felt about being a father right now. He was barely into his mid-twenties. But then again, Cobra was sure he could convince Lucy that he could poison them to paralyze them at the least? But only if they got out of hand and were bratty.

TBC!
