Ever since I was six years old, deep down, I noticed there was something Elizabeth wanted to tell me, but she couldn't. I paid no attention to my curiosity and went outside to the nearby forest to play with my Pokémon: Rosie the Chikorita, Tails the Fennekin, and Princess the Caterpie.

It was hard starting school on Eraklyon because barely anyone had my back besides Sarah, Nicky, and my other friends.

"Hannah!! Come back this instant!!"

I abruptly stop and turn back towards the castle. But before I left the forest with Rosie and Tails, I told Princess to stay hidden from view because I've been told that I'm not allowed to have more than two Pokémon and I wanted to keep Princess hidden.

So Princess nodded and began to crawl along the side of the forest and castle and hid in the bushes.

"I'm here, Samara," I replied, standing in front of her.

"Stand up straight and shoulders back. Keep you chin up. It's proper etiquette for young ladies such as yourself," Samara responded, giving me an angry look.

I straighten my posture and move my shoulders back.

Samara nodded, "Good," she clasps her hands together, "I wanted to speak with you, Hannah."

"What about, Samara?" I ask, narrowing my eyes.

"For starters, there's going to be a royal ball tonight, so don't come down to the ball room like you normally do."

I look up at her, "Why can't I join my friends?"

"They're royalty, Hannah. You've got to understand that," she crossed her arms.

"Can I at least watch from the balcony above?" I replied, looking down at the ground.

Samara sighed, "You can watch from above. As long as Elizabeth is with you and you don't make too much noise."

"Awesome! Thanks," I smiled.

"You go on inside and freshen up."

"Okay.."

I walked past Samara and headed inside. Rosie rushes over to where Princess was hiding and she hid herself underneath Rosie's leaf.

I enter Eraklyon castle with my Pokémon when Elizabeth approached me.

"Hannah! Back so soon? What's the matter, girlie?" She kneels down to my level and feels my cheek.

"She told me I had to "freshen up"."

Elizabeth tilted her head in confusion, "She? You mean Queen Samara?"

I nod, kneeling down to hold Princess in my arms. Rosie and Tails climb on each of my shoulders.

"Oh, probably for the party that's in a few hours then, hm?"

I nod, gloomily, "Yeah.."

She gently placed her hand under my chin, "Is something else the matter?"

"She also said I can't join my friends at the party..because I'm not "royalty".

Elizabeth empathetically looked at me, "Maybe one day, sweetie. For now, let's get you cleaned up."

I nod as Elizabeth reaches for my hand and brings me to my room on the second floor to the right and at the end of the hall.

When we walked up the stairs, I could feel a presence behind me. I turn my head around, but saw nothing..It has happened more than once...what is happening?

((Present time))

"So, you've felt someone lurking behind you?"

I nod.

"Do you have any idea who they may have been?" Bloom asked again.

"I'm about to get to that part, sis."

((Back to my six-year-old self))

"Arms up, Hannah," Elizabeth spoke softly to me, holding a sponge in one hand.

I lift my arms up as Mommy scrubs me.

(That's when I saw a beautiful woman standing behind Elizabeth)

"Hannah, what are you staring at, sweetheart?" Elizabeth asked, looking behind her.

"There's someone behind you, mommy!"

"Really? What do they look like?" Elizabeth, her eyes gentle.

"She's tall and beautiful, mommy!"

Elizabeth tilted her head, "What does she look like exactly, sweetie?"

"She has pretty red hair and eyes like mine!"

Elizabeth stares at me for a moment and then shook her head.

"I bet she's a nice woman, sweetie," she gently rubs my cheek, "let's get you ready for our "little fiesta" now, why don't we?"

I happily nod and shook my head.

Elizabeth drains the water and grabs me. She picks me up and sets me down next to her. She helps get myself dressed for bed.

I look up at her in confusion, "Mommy?"

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"I thought we were going to watch the ball from the balcony?"

Elizabeth kneels down to my level, "We are, sweetie. I'm just getting you ready for bed for after the party is over."

"Oh, okay!" I look up and smile.

Elizabeth proceeds to help me into my bright purple nightgown and brush my hair.

"There! Are you ready to dance, sweet girl?" She placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Yes! Yes!" I squealed.

"Alright, let's go," Elizabeth giggled, smiling.

Elizabeth, my Pokémon, and I proceed to walk out onto the second-floor balcony.

My eyes widen, "Whoa! There's a lot of people here!"

I peer over the railing and look around at the crowd.

"Hey, there's Sarah!" I tried to shout over the loud music, "Hi, Sarah! Look up here!"

Elizabeth reaches to cover my mouth, "Maybe that's not the best idea to shout from across the room, Hannah."

"Aw...but I really wanted to say "hi" to all my friends.." I replied, gloomily.

Elizabeth bends down to hug me, "I know, sweetheart, I know. But maybe one day you will get to do just that."

Elizabeth gently reaches for my hand as I continue to look over the railing.

My eyes locked with another's.

"Who's that kid down there?"

Elizabeth looked around, "Where?"

I grab Elizabeth's hand and point it the direction I'm facing, "There!"

"The boy with the bob-length brown hair?"

I nodded.

She shrugged, "I don't know, sweetheart. Queen Samara might know."

"Can I ask her after the party?" I asked, looking into her eyes.

"If she's available by then, yes."

Suddenly, I feel gentle hands wrap around my shoulders.

I smiled, giggled, and shut my eyes.

"HANNAH!"

I jumped and turned around.

It's Samara.

"I thought I told you to be quiet up here! Why are you making such a racket?" Samara scolded.

I looked down at the ground.

Elizabeth spoke up, "She just got overexcited. She'll be good from here on out."

Samara angrily looked from Elizabeth to me.

"Good. If I hear one more peep coming from you-What's that behind you, Hannah?"

"What's what behind me?"

Samara blinked and shook her head, "If that-whatever it was-what I think it was, you will be in BIG trouble, missy."

I narrowed my eyes.

Elizabeth placed her hand on my shoulder, "She'll be good, your excellency."

Samara loosened up a little, "So is everything going okay up here? No mishaps or trouble?"

"Everything's alright up here, but.." Elizabeth looked to me, "Hannah has a question for you."

I abruptly looked up, "Wait...what?"

Samara looked me in the eye, "What is your question, Hannah?"

"Oh! Um...I was wondering who the boy with the bob-length brown hair is?" I asked, stumbling my words.

She straightened up and cuffs her hands together, "That is Nickolas. His father is on the school board here on Eraklyon," Samara turned to Elizabeth, "I suggest you take Hannah to her bedroom. I think she's had enough for one night."

"But it hasn't been that long for her.." Elizabeth tried to reason.

"Put her to bed and then talk to me afterwards. I need to explain something to you."

Elizabeth narrows her eyes and placed a hand on my shoulder, "I understand," she turned to me, "let's go, Hannah."

Elizabeth walked me to my bedroom. Princess hid underneath Rosie's leaf as my Pokémon walked beside me.

"Okay, Hannah," she lifted me up and set me on my bed, "I will be back to check on you after I speak with Queen Samara."

I sadly narrow my eyes, "Okay.."

"Okay," she gently hugged me and kissed my forehead.

Elizabeth walked out of my room.

"What did I do?" I thought to myself.

Rosie, Tails, and Princess huddled up close to me.

A soft, gentle hand touched my shoulder.

I abruptly turned my head to see the beautiful woman from before.

She smiled and tilted her head.

I tried to ask as nicely as possible, "Who are you?"

"I'm Marion," she replied, smiling.

I brightened up, "Oh! It's nice to meet you! I'm-"

"Hannah," she nodded, still smiling.

I gave a confused look, "How do you know my name?"

"I overheard Elizabeth saying your name," Marion replied quickly.

"Oh, that makes sense," I began thinking for a moment, "Wait.."

"Hm?"

"How did you get in without anyone seeing you?"

She looked at me for a brief moment and then gently touched my face, "Ah, well, that's a little hard to explain."

I straightened, a little too excited, "Ooh! Tell me, tell me! I love hearing stories!"

Marion smiled, "All I can say, Hannah, is that you are the only one who can see and talk to me."

I thought about it for a moment, "Is that why she didn't know you were behind her?"

She nodded; my Pokémon and I looked to one another.

Suddenly, we heard the door to my room open slightly ajar.

Elizabeth peered her head in the doorway, "Hey, who are you talking to, sweetie?"

I looked to Marion, then to my Pokémon, and back to Elizabeth.

"My new friend," I smiled, tilting my head.

Elizabeth smiled, "Alright then. I finished speaking with Queen Samara."

I narrowed my eyes.

"We're going to take you on a trip to the big city of Magix."

I looked up, "Wait...really?"

Elizabeth nodded.

"Awesome!" I exclaimed, excitedly.

Elizabeth continued to smile, "Alright, sweetheart. I'll see you in the morning. Goodnight, love."

"Goodnight!" I responded, smiling.

Marion, my Pokémon, and I smiled to each other as I tucked myself under the weighted blankets.

I smiled as I fell asleep, eagerly waiting for the next day to come.
