((...))
((Hannah...))
"Hm?"
((Hannah.))
"Huh?"
((Wake up, girlie.))
"I...am..awake...hmmm.."
Suddenly, the ground begins to shake.
"Hm? What's up?" I sleepily murmured.
((Open your eyes, sweetie.))
"They are...open...zzzz.."
((I know the best way to wake her up.))
"Mm...no...thanks..."
A tingling sensation flows through my feet.
"N-no...s-stop...mmm.." I tucked my feet in.
((Haha. She's nearly awake.))
Now, the tingling sensation transitioned to my stomach sides.
I jolt awake, "Huh? Did I fall asleep?"
"Haha. Sure did, sweetie," Dad laughed.
I sat up with my face tucked into my hands. I feel my face warm up with embarrassment, "Ah! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to fall asleep!"
I proceed to rock back and forth.
Dad pat my shoulder and Mom pulled me in close.
"It's all good, Hannah. No need to worry," Dad reassured me.
I looked up, "Wait..really?"
Mom and Dad nodded.
I eased up a little more, "Okay..where was I before I fell asleep?"
Bloom crawled closer, "You were telling us about your six-year-old self...but..." she paused.
I looked around at everyone with a confused look, "But what?"
Mom spoke up, "They're wanting to know what happened when you were nine to twelve years old," she wraps her hands around mine and gives me a sympathetic look.
I paused...between those ages were the worst years to ever live in...
"Is everything alright, sweetheart?" You don't have to share if you don't want to," Dad responded, taking my hand.
I shook myself back into reality, "Oh no. I'll share this part of my story."
"Okay. If you don't feel comfortable at any moment, feel free to stop," Dad replied.
I nod. I took a deep breath and relaxed my tense muscles.
