Cam POV

'Get off of me you creep!' Tina snapped, pushing against Zach

'Who are you?' He looked completely confused

'Tina. Who the fuck are you?' She hissed.

He opened and closed his mouth like a goldfish, I tried so hard not to laugh.

'I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else'

'Yeah no kidding' She rolled her eyes and walked away, rounding the corner out of sight and ducking into the bush next to me.

'Nice going, Walters' I gave her a high five

'Happy to help, Morgan'

'And the tracking device?'

'On his shirt'

'Perfect. Okay guys, how are we looking for Phrase Three?' I asked into the comms.

'Ready' A chorus came.

'Fire away' I said, smirking at Tina. Suddenly there was a sound of a distant explosion. I cringed.

'Liz, the explosion was only supposed to blow the bloody windows out! Not blow up the apartment' Bex hissed

'Well I guess the dynamite was a little stronger than I expected' Liz replied.

'You think!'

'Focus girls' I said calmly 'Did everyone make it out okay?'

'Anna, Courtney and I are good' Bex said 'We're on our way to the rendezvous point'

'Great. Macey, any update?' I asked. Silence. 'Macey, Eva, come in'

'Cam...I think you need to get over here...now'

...

Tina and I hopped in a cab and made our way to the storage facility near the Smithsonian. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary. We made our way through the building, avoiding the cameras (not that we had to because Liz had disabled the cameras) but a habit never dies.

'What is it?' I asked, coming up to the girls. Eva was holding the storage locker door, frozen to the spot. Her hand was shaking. Macey was crouched down, shining a torch into the dark place.

'Tripwire' Macey said 'Eva moves, and boom'

'Thanks for the encouragement McHenry' Eva snapped

Tina and I looked at each other.

'Can you see what it's connected to?' Tina asked

'Some sort of shrapnel bomb' Macey said.

'There was a shrapnel bomb at the ball. Zach caught me before I tripped it' I said

'Is this them? Now I wished I'd punched that guy' Tina snapped.

'Let's not jump to conclusions' I said, taking a deep breath trying to defuse the tension. I turned to Eva.

'How are you doing?'

'My arms are starting to hurt' Eva said 'But I can hold it'

'Good. Okay. I'm going to just move around you. Okay?'

'Sure' She nodded.

Tina and I shimmied across and crouched down next to Macey trying to get a better view.

Both of us shone our torches in the same place Macey's was.

'That's strange' Tina muttered

'What?' I asked

'This is similar, like really similar, to one we saw in Italy'

'Oh God' Eva muttered

'It's okay Eva' I reassured her. 'How did you disarm it?'

Tina shook her head 'We didn't. You either lift the door and it explodes or you drop it and it explodes'

'Thanks Tina. I can always count on your honesty' Eva quipped.

'I think I can squeeze through' I said.

'Cam, that's stupid' Macey gasped

'I need to know what's in there. Clearly someone's gone through a lot of trouble to keep this hidden'

'Could Abby have set this up?' Tina asked. I shook my head.

'Abby wouldn't set a trap that could kill someone. That's not what we do'

I moved into position and crawled on my stomach. Tina kept the light on the bomb whilst Macey shone her torch just in front of me.

'It looks clear Cam' She said.

I slowly stood up and looked around the room. There were boxes everywhere but they were all empty. I continued to search for a few more minutes before giving up. As I made my way back towards the door, I noticed something stuck to the wall just above the bomb. It was an envelope.

'I found something' I said 'It's an envelope behind the bomb'

'Cammie, do not grab it' Macey warned me.

'For once, I agree with McHenry' Tina added

'I agree too!' Eva said 'Seriously, I'm starting to cramp up now'

I stepped closer, looking at the inscription.

'It's addressed to me'

'Cam. Leave it' Macey barked

'Tina and Macey cover our exits. Eva, raise the door'

'ARE YOU MAD?' All three girls shouted

'Trust me' I said calmly. Even from this side of the door, I could tell that the girls were all sharing a look.

'Okay' Macey sighed 'I hope you know what you're doing Morgan'

'I do' I said 'Eva, raise it slowly'

She raised the door incredibly slowly. Until the door was almost completely open. I was then able to hold onto the ledge and pull myself up. I grabbed the envelope and stepped back.

'So now what?' Eva asked nervously.

'Now...we run,' I said. Eva shook her head.

'If we make it out of this alive, I'm going to kill you' She hissed

'I look forward to it' I smiled. 'Ready?'

'Ready?'

'Okay...three...two...one'

Eva pulled the door down & we sprinted down the hallway and managed to round the corner before the bomb exploded.

Eva and I caught our breath.

'You guys okay?' Tina asked from down the hallway

'We're good' I gave her a thumbs up. Coming to join her and Macey.

'So what's in the envelope?' Macey asked.

'No clue' I tucked it into my pocket.

We made our way towards the exit and back towards Macey's car.

'Guys...unmarked black SUV is pulling up' Liz said through the comms. We turned to the entrance to see the car heading towards us.

'Cam…'

'Split up. Be back at the rendezvous point by nine' I said. Eva and Macey jumped into the car whilst Tina and I began to run away.

The car stopped with a screech. I looked over my shoulder to see Zach and his friend jump out and head towards Tina and me.

'Lose them in the crowd' I told her.

Here's the thing that you need to know about detecting and losing a tail: to do it right - I mean really right - you'd need to cover half a city.

That's a lesson I learnt at school and one that has stayed with me forever.

Tina and I continued to run across the grassy promenade between the Washington Monument and the United States Capitol building.

We both saw the long, steep escalator to the Metro station below.

Tina and I shared a look.

We both made our way down towards the Metro. We both headed towards the train, jumping on. I noticed Zach's friend jumping on too.

Tina and I watched him come towards us from the other carriage.

'Bogey on the train. Heading East' I muttered into the comms

'Copy that' Bex replied.

There was a loud beeping as the doors began to close. Tina and I waited for the last possible moment before leaping out.

Zach's friend was too late. He pressed himself against the glass, banging his fists as the train sped into the tunnel.

'There's still one more' I turned to Tina 'You got this?' I asked.

'Got it' Tina nodded and disappeared through the crowd. I hovered for a few moments. Before heading to the elevator, but as I reached for the button, another hand beat me to it.

'So, we meet again'

Author's note: Hello everyone! So some of you wanted another upload a week (and so did I), this will keep going for a while as I've got several chapters stocked up. So it might last a month or so! But at least you don't have to wait too long! A lot of drama will happen in the next few chapters, so stay tuned! Anyway...how planted the bomb? Was it Zach? Was it someone else? Who do you think said 'So, we meet again' at the end?Let me know what you think might happen next! xxx

BugheadHastings: Thank you so much! I'm really excited about the upcoming chapters! A lot more Zammie action (though not necessarily romantic just yet) xxx

covertoperatives456: The girls are just very clever. Clapping back at the guys & always one step ahead...but how long will that last. You were correct, Tina is defo part of the plan as a decoy. Thank you xxx

MaggieMG: Aww, thank you so much! xxx

AaGallagherGil: I'm glad that you found this one & I'm really happy to hear that you've read my other stories. Thank you so much for your support! xxx

AllyCarterFan101: The boys did get played. Tina didn't flirt this time, though I wouldn't put it past her in the future. You're not annoying at all! I'm so glad that people are loving this story & giving feedback. It's such a help. xxx

Archer5210: Awwwww stop. I always try to support other writers because I know how much it means to me. I can't wait to read more of your story! If you ever want more advice or to run through ideas or just fancy a chat, send me a PM! I'd be happy to help! Cammie did call Tina for help as well as some of the other Gallagher Girls. There's strength in numbers. Zach seems to have caught up to Cammie, but is this her plan? Or has he outsmarted her? Indirect Zammie is coming up very very soon! xxx

Guest: Cammie does on the upper hand...but for how long...xxx

Grace: Aww thank you so much! I'm defo going to keep it going! It's been my favourite to write xxx

Roxie: I don't think Zach has ever come across someone with Cammie's skill level before and all of this has thrown him off. xxx

gottalovegoodbooks: I'll try out two days a week for now and see how it goes. If it's too much then I'll just go back to once a week. Moving On will be updated soon, I don't know when, but soon. My focus at the moment is on this story, but Moving On will be soon, I promise! In the next two weeks (I hope). Cammie is slipping through Zach's fingers, but has he just caught her? xxx
