Here we go! Another chapter.

By the way, the poll for Faith Spells is closed. For some reason, barely anyone voted so there's a four-way tie, so I will choose randomly. There are two support spells and two attack spells so I'll explain the list in the next chapter. The Reason spells poll is up.

Fira followed Rhea into an unfamiliar room.

"Where are we?" she asked.

"This is the audience chamber," answered Rhea. "Now then, please sit."

Fira sat down, and Rhea began speaking.

"I know this is all new to you, child. But there's a reason we brought you here."

Fira simply wordlessly nodded.

"Before we begin, what is your name?"

"Fira," answered Fira, wondering what Rhea's intentions were.

Rhea seemed to read Fira's doubts. "I'm not here to hurt you, I promise," she soothed.

That didn't lessen Fira's anxiety at all.

Rhea had already begun speaking. "I understand how stressful it is, and being taken from your birthplace at a young age…well…it can be troublesome. But we brought you here to protect you from the people that took you from your birthplace."

"The people from the Adrestian Empire?" asked Fira.

"Correct, Fira."

"But what am I supposed to do here?"

Rhea's eyes closed for a moment before opening. "I have spoken with my Knights of Seiros, and your older sister, and the best course of action is if you enrolled in the Officer's Academy, here at Garreg Mach Monastery."

"Wait." Fira's eyes widened. "My sister is here? And did you say 'enroll'?"

"Yes, she's here, and I mean what I say. You can explore around Garreg Mach and get to know the students and the house leaders, and come here and explain your choices. But before I get ahead of myself, I must explain the houses."

Fira nodded.

"There are three houses in the Officer's Academy. The Black Eagles, the Blue Lions, and the Golden Deer. Each house comes from a certain nation in Fodlan. The Black Eagles come from the Adrestian Empire, the Blue Lions come from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and the Golden Deer come from the Leicester Alliance. They each have a house leader, one of which you have already seen, both before you collapsed, and in the infirmary."

Fira was awed.

"Perhaps you would like to see the monastery and meet some of the students?" asked Rhea.

"Sure," answered Fira.

Just then, there was a knock on the door, and Fira turned around.

"Come in!" called Rhea.

The door opened, and in came Claude and a green haired man.

"Claude. Seteth," greeted Rhea.

"Greetings, Lady Rhea," Claude answered, bowing.

The green haired man, known as Seteth, spoke. "Greetings, Rhea." He nodded to Fira. "And greetings. Welcome to Garreg Mach Monastery." He stepped forward and stretched out his hand. "My name is Seteth. What is your name?"

"My name is Fira," answered Fira, grasping Seteth's hand, and they shook hands.

Seteth turned to Rhea. "Claude wanted to know if he could take Fira on a tour around Garreg Mach."

"I have no problem with that," Rhea assured.

Seteth nodded, and then turned to Fira. "I do hope you enjoy your time at the monastery. Once you've finished, please return to the audience chamber and tell us your choice."

"I will," promised Fira.

Seteth nodded, and then moved to speak with Rhea.

Claude strode forward. "Come on!" he said cheerfully. "Let's go!"

Fira followed Claude out of the audience chamber, ready for the adventure.

"I never got your name," Claude said. "By the way, I'm Claude. House leader of the Golden Deer house and the heir to House Riegan in the Leicester Alliance. What's your name?"

"Fira," answered Fira. She wasn't exactly sure if she wanted to share anything with Claude just yet, and the details were still a bit hazy.

Claude seemed to realize that she didn't seem comfortable. "Don't worry, Fira, I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable. It's just…we haven't met eachother before."

"No, it's fine Claude."

Claude nodded. Then he spoke. "Oh, we're here!"

Fira spotted an open, grassy field. "Is this…"

Claude nodded. "This is the Officer's Academy."

A white haired girl dressed in a black uniform with a red cape came up to Fira and Claude.

"I was wondering where you had gone, Claude," the white haired girl said. Then she spotted Fira. "And who's this?"

Fira nearly shrank back, but she held her ground. "My name is Fira," she greeted with a slight curtsy.

"Fira, this is Edelgard, the house leader of the Black Eagles," said Claude.

"A pleasure to meet you, Fira," said Edelgard.

"A pleasure to meet you too, Edelgard," replied Fira, trying to resist the urge to shrink back. Must be the troubles of the past that I got from being in Adrestia, she thought.

"Anyways, why were you looking for me?" asked Claude.

"The houses are meeting up at the training grounds," answered Edelgard. "Also, have you seen Bernadetta anywhere?"

Claude shook his head.

"Who?" asked Fira.

"One of my classmates," answered Edelgard. "She's a member of the Black Eagles, however, she's a bit of a recluse."

"We can go look for her, and then head to the training grounds," said Claude.

The two nodded, and Edelgard spoke. "She's probably in her room."

The three set off for the dorms, and Fira was excited for what was to come.

Seems like Claude's taken quite the interest in Fira, and she might lean towards joining the Golden Deer. Due to her backstory, I'm not going to have her join the Black Eagles, and I honestly don't want her being around Hubert too much, as he could remind her of her dark past. With the Blue Lions, yes, Dimitri will be more supportive, but there's Sylvain...and also I don't want to make Fira fight her sister.

But other than that, things are looking up. Also a reminder, the poll for Reason spells is now up. I'll go through the Faith spells she's going to use next chapter. Thank you to the people who voted.

Wolfie out!
